3单διψᾷ，约七37，罗十二20（罗十二20）；未διψήσω；1不定式ἐδίψησα。“渴”。

一、“口渴”。太二五35、37、42、44，约四13、15、十九28，罗十二20（罗十二20）。带πεινάω饥饿，以表示极度的穷困（诗一〇七5），林前四11，启七16（启七16）。


二、喻意：指对生命之水的“渴望”。约四14、六35、七37，启二一6、二二17（参赛五五1）。


三、喻意：“渴望”，即对某事物有很“热切的需求”（诗四二2）τ. δικαιοσύνην渴慕义，太五6。带人称直接受格，诗六三1异版。*
