一、“博士”（波斯或巴比伦的），“聪明人”和“祭司”，精于占星学，解梦，以及其他神秘的技术（但二2、10）。耶稣降生后来的博士μάγοι，太二7、16上，下或更清楚的μάγοι ἀπὸ ἀνατολῶν有几个博士从东方来（1节）到巴勒斯坦，并且说他们看到弥赛亚王降生的星。

二、“魔法师”。指巴耶稣＝在塞浦斯的以吕马，徒十三6、8。*
