以苦或是以乐，我杯由你充满；照你看为最妥，祸福为我拣选。
Take Thou my cup, and it
With joy or sorrow fill,
As best to Thee may seem;
Choose Thou my good and ill.

为我选择友人，选择疾病、健康；为我选择责任，选择衰贫、隆昌。
Choose Thou for me my friends,
My sickness or my health.
Choose Thou my cares for me,
My poverty or wealth.

事情不论大小，不随我的爱好；你是我的引导，是我智慧、至宝。
Not mine, not mine the choice,
In things both great and small;
Be Thou my guide, my strength,
My wisdom and my all.
