神所赐恩典，最高的定义，是神在子里所给的自己；不重在事物，赐于古或今，乃是神自己作我的永分。
Grace in its highest definition is
God in the Son to be enjoyed by us;
It is not only something done or giv'n,
But God Himself, our portion glorious.

神成为肉身，来与人调和，为给人接受，而将祂得着；人借主从神所得的恩典，就是主自己来住我心间。
God is incarnate in the flesh that we
Him may receive, experience ourself;
This is the grace which we receive of God,
Which come thru Christ and which is Christ Himself.

在使徒保罗，万事如粪土，恩典之于他，只是神基督；乃借这恩典─他所经历主，他为主劳苦，超过众使徒。
Paul the Apostle counted all as dung,
'Twas only God in Christ he counted grace;
'Tis by this grace-the Lord experienced-
That he surpassed the others in the race.

基督在我里，作我的能力，乃是真恩典，够为我赖倚；这够用恩典在我的灵里，时常加我力，完成神旨意。
It is this grace-Christ as our inward strength-
Which with His all-sufficiency doth fill;
It is this grace which in our spirit is,
There energizing, working our God's will.

这恩典就是那活的基督作我的一切，时将我眷顾。主，愿我认识你这真恩典，享你作恩典，一直的增添。
This grace, which is the living Christ Himself,
Is what we need and must experience;
Lord, may we know this grace and by it live,
Thyself increasingly as grace to sense.
