哦主，神的活话，神的真像，你是神话内容，神圣宝藏；在你我们看见神的丰满，你又借着圣经向我显现。
O living Word of God, God's image true,
Thou art the content of God's written word:
God in Thee we have met, God's fulness found.
And in the Scripture we Thyself have heard.

从未有人见神，在你之外，若无圣经你难启示出来；你已将神向人清楚表明，然而对你认识是借圣经。
No man has e'er seen God, apart from Thee.
Without the Scripture Thee we'd hardly see;
Thou to the human race God hast declared,
And thru the Scripture Thou art shown to me.

你是神的化身，具体、完全，圣经是你描述，真实、丰满；在你我们领略神的真像，但借圣经才能将你欣赏。
Perfect embodiment Thou art of God,
A portrait full the Scripture gives of Thee;
In Thee we comprehend God's image true,
And thru the Scripture Thou art real to me.

你是生命之灵，你又是话，这话因灵丰盛，无以复加；借你内住之灵摸着这话，你就将你丰盛向我赐下。
Life-giving Spirit Thou, as well as Word,
Now e'en the Spirit in the Word Thou art;
When thru the Spirit giv'n, I touch the Word,
Fulness divine to me Thou dost impart.

在你里面我可与神交通，借着圣经我能享你无穷；每凭经中话语向你读祷，你的丰富就顾我的需要。
In Thee I may with God have fellowship,
And thru the Scripture I on Thee may feed;
Thru Study of the Word with prayer to God
Thy glorious riches fully meet my need.

求主教我如何运用我灵，祷读你话，借以受你供应；你和经中话语相调为一，就作生命吗哪，每日供给。
Teach me to exercise my spirit, Lord,
Thy Word to study, so to contact Thee,
That Thou, the living Word, with Scripture, too,
As one my daily manna e'er may be.
