Christ, whose glory fills the skies
Christ, the true, the only Light,
Sun of Righteousness, arise.
Triumph o'er the shades of night;
Dayspring from on high, be near.
Daystar, in my heart appear.

早晨若无你同在，反似黑夜，乐成哀；白昼不过是无奈，除非恩光显怜爱；只要有你放光采，心眼明亮乐开怀。
Dark and cheerless is the morn
Unaccompanied by Thee;
Joyless is the day's return,
Till Thy mercy's beams I see,
Till Thou inward light impart,
Glad my eyes, and warm my heart.

疲魂需你来眷顾，来将忧悒全驱逐；当你圣光及遍处，不信恶心尽消除；愿你显现如天曙，越照越明达日午。
Visit then this soul of mine,
Pierce the gloom of sin and grief;
Fill me, Radiancy divine,
Scatter all my unbelief;
More and more Thyself display,
Shining to the perfect day.
