[KJV] And Moab4124 said559(8799) unto the elders2205 of Midian4080, Now shall this company6951 lick up3897(8762) all that are round about5439 us, as the ox7794 licketh up3897(8800) the grass3418 of the field7704. And Balak1111 the son1121 of Zippor6834 was king4428 of the Moabites4124 at that time6256.

[KJV] And the elders2205 of Moab4124 and the elders2205 of Midian4080 departed3212(8799) with the rewards of divination7081 in their hand3027; and they came935(8799) unto Balaam1109, and spake1696(8762) unto him the words1697 of Balak1111.

[KJV] And Balaam1109 rose up6965(8799) in the morning1242, and said559(8799) unto the princes8269 of Balak1111, Get3212(8798) you into your land776: for the LORD3068 refuseth3985(8765) to give me leave5414(8800) to go1980(8800) with you.
[恢复本] 巴兰早晨起来，对巴勒差来的首领说，你们回本地去吧，因为耶和华不许我和你们同去。

[和合本] 摩押4124的使臣8269就起来6965(8799)，回413巴勒1111那里去935(8799)，说559(8799)：“巴兰1109不肯3985(8765)和我们同5973来1980(8800)。”
[KJV] And the princes8269 of Moab4124 rose up6965(8799), and they went935(8799) unto Balak1111, and said559(8799), Balaam1109 refuseth3985(8765) to come1980(8800) with us.
[恢复本] 摩押的首领就起来，回巴勒那里去，说，巴兰不肯和我们同来。

[KJV] And Balak1111 sent7971(8800) yet again3254(8686) princes8269, more7227, and more honourable3513(8737) than they.

[KJV] And Balaam1109 answered6030(8799) and said559(8799) unto the servants5650 of Balak1111, If Balak1111 would give5414(8799) me his house1004 full4393 of silver3701 and gold2091, I cannot3201(8799) go beyond5674(8800) the word6310 of the LORD3068 my God430, to do6213(8800) less6996 or more1419.

[KJV] And the angel4397 of the LORD3068 said559(8799) unto Balaam1109, Go3212(8798) with the men582: but only657 the word1697 that I shall speak1696(8762) unto thee, that thou shalt speak1696(8762). So Balaam1109 went3212(8799) with the princes8269 of Balak1111.

[KJV] And when Balak1111 heard8085(8799) that Balaam1109 was come935(8802), he went out3318(8799) to meet7125(8800) him unto a city5892 of Moab4124, which is in the border1366 of Arnon769, which is in the utmost7097 coast1366.

[KJV] And Balaam1109 said559(8799) unto Balak1111, Lo, I am come935(8804) unto thee: have I now any power3201(8799) at all3201(8800) to say1696(8763) any thing3972? the word1697 that God430 putteth7760(8799) in my mouth6310, that shall I speak1696(8762).

[KJV] And it came to pass on the morrow1242, that Balak1111 took3947(8799) Balaam1109, and brought him up5927(8686) into the high places1116 of Baal1120, that thence he might see7200(8799) the utmost7097 part of the people5971.

[KJV] And Balak1111 did6213(8799) as Balaam1109 had spoken1696(8765); and Balak1111 and Balaam1109 offered5927(8686) on every altar4196 a bullock6499 and a ram352.

[KJV] And the LORD3068 put7760(8799) a word1697 in Balaam's1109 mouth6310, and said559(8799), Return7725(8798) unto Balak1111, and thus thou shalt speak1696(8762).
