创13:2And Abram was very rich in livestock, in silver and in gold.

创13:3And he continued on his journey from the Negev as far as Bethel, to the place where his tent had been at the beginning, between Bethel and Ai,

创13:4To the place of the altar, which he had made there formerly; and there Abram called on the name of Jehovah.

创13:5And Lot, who went with Abram, also had flocks and herds and tents.

创13:6And the land could not support them that they might dwell together, for their possessions were so great that they could not dwell together.

创13:7And there was strife between the herdsmen of Abram's livestock and the herdsmen of Lot's livestock. And at that time the Canaanites and the Perizzites dwelt in the land.

创13:8And Abram said to Lot, Let there please be no strife between me and you and between my herdsmen and your herdsmen, for we are brothers.

创13:9Is not the whole land before you? Please separate yourself from me. If you go to the left, then I will go to the right. Or if you go to the right, then I will go to the left.

创13:10And Lot lifted up his eyes and saw the entire plain of the Jordan, that it was well watered everywhere — this was before Jehovah had destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah — like the garden of Jehovah, like the land of Egypt, as you go to Zoar.

创13:11So Lot chose for himself the entire plain of the Jordan, and Lot journeyed east; and they separated themselves from each other.

创13:12Abram dwelt in the land of Canaan, and Lot dwelt in the cities of the plain and moved his tent as far as Sodom.

创13:13Now the men of Sodom were very wicked and sinful toward Jehovah.

创13:14And Jehovah said to Abram after Lot had separated from him, Now lift up your eyes, and look from the place where you are, northward and southward and eastward and westward;

创13:15For all the land that you see I will give to you and to your seed forever.

创13:16And I will make your seed as the dust of the earth, so that if a man can number the dust of the earth, then your seed can also be numbered.

创13:17Rise up; walk through the land according to its length and its breadth, for I will give it to you.

创13:18And Abram moved his tent and came and dwelt by the oaks of Mamre, which are in Hebron, and there he built an altar to Jehovah.

创14:1And in the days of Amraphel the king of Shinar, Arioch the king of Ellasar, Chedorlaomer the king of Elam, and Tidal the king of Goiim,

创14:2These kings made war with Bera the king of Sodom and with Birsha the king of Gomorrah, Shinab the king of Admah, and Shemeber the king of Zeboiim, and the king of Bela (that is, Zoar).

创14:3All these joined together in the valley of Siddim (that is, the Salt Sea).
