一、“休息”。τόπος τῆς καταπαύσεώς安息的地方，即人可以休息和居住的地方，徒七49（徒七49）。


二、以抽象代替实体：“休息的地方”（申十二9，诗一三二14等）εἰσελεύσονται εἰς τὴν κ. μου进入我的安息（诗九五11），来三11、18、四1、3、5、10、11；这段旧约的经文是以基督徒的观点来作预表性的解释。*
