一、字义︰τινά某人，用于一个处在困境中的妇女，ἵνα μὴ ὑπωπιάζῃ με免得来缠磨我，路十八5。除非此处采取较弱的解释：“缠磨，纠缠”，不然可作象征用法（在亚洲流行），使我的“脸黑了”，即“诽谤，造谣，损誉”。

二、象征用法：“虐待，苦待，恶待”。林前九27（用于使徒的强制自律，不过很明显的，是采用斗拳赛的术语，林前九26 节）。*
