至于你，要讲那合乎健康教训的话。
But you, speak the things which are fitting to the healthy teaching.

劝老年人要节制适度、庄重、清明自守，在信、爱、忍耐上都要健康。
Exhort older men to be temperate, grave, of a sober mind, healthy in faith, in love, in endurance;

劝老年妇人也是一样，在举止行动上，要和有分于圣事的人相称，不说谗言，不被酒奴役，将善美的事教导人，
Older women likewise to be in demeanor as befits those who engage in sacred things, not slanderers, nor enslaved by much wine, teachers of what is good,

好训练年轻的妇人爱丈夫，爱儿女，
That they may train the young women to love their husbands, to love their children,

清明自守，贞洁，料理家务，良善，服从自己的丈夫，免得神的话被毁谤。
To be of a sober mind, pure, workers at home, good, subject to their own husbands, that the word of God would not be blasphemed.

劝青年人也是一样，要清明自守。
The younger men likewise exhort to be of a sober mind,

在凡事上你自己要显出善行的榜样，在教导上要不腐化，要庄重，
Concerning all things presenting yourself as a pattern of good works: in your teaching showing incorruption, gravity,

要用无可挑剔的健康言语，使那反对的人既没有坏事可说到我们，便自觉羞愧。
Healthy speech that cannot be condemned, that he who opposes may be put to shame, having nothing evil to say about us.

劝奴仆要凡事服从自己的主人，讨他们的喜欢，不可顶撞他们，
Exhort slaves to be subject to their own masters in all things, to be well pleasing, not contradicting,

不可私拿东西，却要显为绝对优良可信，好使我们救主神的教训在凡事上都得光荣。
Not pilfering, but showing all good faithfulness that they may adorn the teaching of our Savior God in all things.

因为神救万人的恩典，已经显现出来，
For the grace of God, bringing salvation to all men, has appeared,

教导我们弃绝不敬虔和属世的情欲，好在今世过自守、公义、敬虔的生活，
Training us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly and righteously and godly in the present age,

等候那有福的盼望，就是至大的神和我们的救主，耶稣基督之荣耀的显现。
Awaiting the blessed hope, even the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ,

祂为我们舍了自己，要赎我们脱离一切的不法，并洁净我们，归祂自己成为独特的子民，作祂特有的产业，热心行善。
Who gave Himself for us that He might redeem us from all lawlessness and purify to Himself a particular people as His unique possession, zealous of good works.

这些事你要讲说，也要用各等权柄劝勉人、责备人；不可叫人轻看你。
These things speak, and exhort and convict with all authority. Let no one despise you.

犹大王西底家第十年，就是尼布甲尼撒十八年，从耶和华有话临到耶利米。
The word which came to Jeremiah from Jehovah in the tenth year of Zedekiah the king of Judah. That year was the eighteenth year of Nebuchadrezzar.

那时巴比伦王的军队围困耶路撒冷，申言者耶利米被囚在犹大王宫中的护卫兵院内；
Now at that time the army of the king of Babylon was besieging Jerusalem, and Jeremiah the prophet was shut up in the court of the guard, which was in the king of Judah's house.

因为犹大王西底家已将他囚禁，说，你为什么预言说，耶和华如此说，我必将这城交在巴比伦王的手中，他必攻取这城；
For Zedekiah the king of Judah had shut him up, saying, Why do you prophesy, saying, Thus says Jehovah, I am about to give this city into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he will capture it;

犹大王西底家必不能逃脱迦勒底人的手，必要交在巴比伦王的手中，且要口对口和他说话，眼要见他的眼；
And Zedekiah the king of Judah will not escape out of the hand of the Chaldeans, but he will surely be given into the hand of the king of Babylon and will speak with him mouth to mouth, and his eyes will see his eyes;

巴比伦王必将西底家带到巴比伦，西底家必在那里，直到我眷顾他的时候；你们虽与迦勒底人争战，却不顺利；这是耶和华说的。你为什么这样预言？
And he will bring Zedekiah to Babylon, and he will be there until I visit him, declares Jehovah; though you fight with the Chaldeans, you will not prosper?

耶利米说，耶和华的话临到我，说，
And Jeremiah said, The word of Jehovah came to me, saying,

你叔叔沙龙的儿子哈拿篾必来见你，说，我在亚拿突的那块地，求你为自己买下，因你有赎回权买这地。
Hanamel the son of Shallum your uncle will come to you, saying, Buy for yourself my field which is in Anathoth, for you have the right of redemption to buy it.

我叔叔的儿子哈拿篾，果然照耶和华的话，来到护卫兵的院内，对我说，我在便雅悯境内，亚拿突的那块地，求你买下，因你有承受之权，赎回权也是你的，你为自己买下吧；我耶利米就知道这是耶和华的话。
And Hanamel, my uncle's son, came to me in the court of the guard according to the word of Jehovah and said to me, Buy my field which is in Anathoth, in the land of Benjamin, for you have the right of possession, and the right of redemption is yours; buy it for yourself. Then I knew that this was the word of Jehovah.

我便从我叔叔的儿子哈拿篾，买了亚拿突的那块地，称了十七舍客勒银子给他。
And I bought the field which was in Anathoth from Hanamel, my uncle's son, and I weighed out for him the money, seventeen shekels of silver.

我写下契约，将契书封缄，又请见证人来，并用天平将银子称给他。
And I signed and sealed the deed and called witnesses and weighed out the money on scales.

我取了买契，就是含有协议和条件并封缄的那一张，和敞着的那一张，
Then I took the deed of purchase, the sealed part, containing the terms and conditions, and the open part;

当着我叔叔的儿子哈拿篾，和在买契上签字作见证的人，并坐在护卫兵院内的一切犹大人面前，把买契交给玛西雅的孙子，尼利亚的儿子巴录。
And I gave the deed of purchase to Baruch the son of Neriah, the son of Mahseiah, in the presence of Hanamel, my uncle's son, and in the presence of the witnesses who signed the deed of purchase, before all the Jews who were sitting in the court of the guard.

我当着他们面前，嘱咐巴录，说，
And I commanded Baruch in their presence, saying,

万军之耶和华以色列的神如此说，要将这些契约，就是封缄的和敞着的买契，取来放在瓦器里，可以存留多日。
Thus says Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel, Take these deeds, this deed of purchase, both the one which is sealed and this deed which is open, and put them in an earthen vessel that they may remain many days.

因为万军之耶和华以色列的神如此说，将来在这地必有人再买房屋、田地和葡萄园。
For thus says Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel, Houses and fields and vineyards will again be bought in this land.

我将买契交给尼利亚的儿子巴录以后，便祷告耶和华，说，
And after I had given the deed of purchase to Baruch the son of Neriah, I prayed to Jehovah, saying,

哎，主耶和华啊！你曾用大能和伸出来的膀臂造了天地，在你没有难成的事；
Ah, Lord Jehovah! It is You who have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and by Your outstretched arm. Nothing is too wonderful for You,

你施慈爱直到千代，又将父亲的罪孽报应在他后世子孙的怀中。至大全能的神啊，万军之耶和华是你的名，
Who show lovingkindness to thousands of generations but repay the iniquity of the fathers into the bosom of their children after them. O great and mighty God, whose name is Jehovah of hosts,

你的谋略伟大，行事有能，你睁眼观看世人一切的行径，为要照各人的行径，和他行事的结果报应他；
Great in counsel and mighty in deed, whose eyes are open to all the ways of the sons of men, giving to each according to his ways and according to the fruit of his deeds;

你在埃及地显神迹奇事，直到今日，在以色列和人类中间也是如此，使自己得了名声，正如今日一样。
Who have set signs and wonders unto this day in the land of Egypt and in Israel and among mankind and have made a name for Yourself, as in this day.

你用神迹奇事和大能的手，并伸出来的膀臂，与大可畏的事，领你的百姓以色列出了埃及。
And You brought Your people Israel out of the land of Egypt with signs and with wonders, and with a strong hand and with an outstretched arm, and with great terror.

你将这地赐给他们，就是你向他们列祖起誓要赐给他们的流奶与蜜之地。
And You gave them this land, which You had sworn to their fathers to give them, a land flowing with milk and honey.

他们进入这地得了为业，却不听从你的话，也不遵行你的律法。你吩咐他们行的一切事，他们都没有行；因此，你使这一切的灾祸临到他们。
And they entered and took possession of it, but they did not listen to Your voice or walk in Your law. They have not done anything of all that You commanded them to do; therefore You have caused all this evil to happen to them.

看哪，敌人已经筑垒，来攻取这城。这城也已经因刀剑、饥荒、瘟疫，交在攻城的迦勒底人手中。你所说的话都成就了，你也看见了。
See the siege mounds, which come up to the city to capture it. And the city has been given into the hand of the Chaldeans, who are fighting against it, by sword and famine and pestilence. And what You have spoken has come to pass, even as You see it.

主耶和华啊，你对我说，要用银子为自己买那块地，又请见证人；其实这城已交在迦勒底人的手中了。
But You, O Lord Jehovah, said to me, Buy for yourself the field with money and call witnesses. Yet the city has been given into the hand of the Chaldeans.

耶和华的话临到耶利米，说，
And the word of Jehovah came to Jeremiah, saying,

我是耶和华，是凡有血肉者的神，在我岂有难成的事么？
Indeed, I am Jehovah, the God of all flesh. Is anything too wonderful for Me?

因此耶和华如此说，我要将这城交付迦勒底人的手，和巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒的手，他必攻取这城。
Therefore thus says Jehovah, I am now giving this city into the hand of the Chaldeans and into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon, and he will take it.

攻这城的迦勒底人必来，放火焚烧这城和其中的房屋，在这些房屋顶上人曾向巴力烧香，向别神浇奠祭，惹我发怒。
And the Chaldeans who are fighting against this city will come and set this city on fire, and they will burn it and the houses upon whose roofs the people have offered incense to Baal and poured out drink offerings to other gods to provoke Me to anger.

以色列人和犹大人，自从幼年以来，专行我眼中看为恶的事；以色列人尽以他们手所作的惹我发怒；这是耶和华说的。
For the children of Israel and the children of Judah have only done evil in My sight from their youth; for the children of Israel have only provoked Me to anger by the work of their hands, declares Jehovah.

这城自从建造的那日，直到今日，常惹我的怒气和忿怒，使我将这城从我眼前除掉；
For this city has been to Me a provocation of My anger and of My wrath, from the day that they built it even unto this day, so that I should remove it from My sight;

因为以色列人和犹大人一切的邪恶，就是他们和他们的君王、首领、祭司、申言者、犹大的众人以及耶路撒冷的居民所行的，惹我发怒。
Because of all the evil of the children of Israel and of the children of Judah, which they have done to provoke Me to anger — they, their kings, their princes, their priests, and their prophets, and the men of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

他们以背向着我，不以面向着我；我虽从早起来教训他们，他们却不听从，不受教诲；
And they have turned their back to Me and not their face, although I taught them, rising up early and teaching; but they would not listen so as to receive instruction.

竟把可憎之物，设立在称为我名下的殿中，污秽了这殿。
And they set up their detestable things in the house which is called by My name, to defile it.

他们在欣嫩子谷，建筑巴力的邱坛，好使自己的儿女经火归摩洛，他们行这可憎的事，使犹大犯罪，这并不是我所吩咐的，也不是我心所起的意。
And they built the high places of Baal in the valley of the son of Hinnom in order to cause their sons and their daughters to pass through fire to Molech, something I did not command them to do, nor did it come up in My heart that they should do this abomination, to cause Judah to sin.

现在论到这城，就是你们所说已经因刀剑、饥荒、瘟疫，交在巴比伦王手中的，耶和华以色列的神如此说，
And now therefore thus says Jehovah the God of Israel concerning this city of which you say, It has been given into the hand of the king of Babylon by sword and by famine and by pestilence.

我在怒气、忿怒和大恼恨中，将以色列人赶到各地；日后我必从那里将他们招聚出来，领他们回到这地方，使他们安然居住。
Indeed, I will gather them out from all the lands where I have driven them in My anger and in My wrath and in great indignation; and I will bring them back to this place and make them dwell in safety.

他们要作我的子民，我要作他们的神；
And they will be My people, and I will be their God;

我要赐给他们一个心和一条路，好叫他们终身敬畏我，使他们和他们以后的子孙得福乐。
And I will give them one heart and one way, to fear Me all the days, for their own good and for the good of their children after them.

我又要与他们立永远的约，必不转身离开他们，必善待他们，并且赐他们敬畏我的心，使他们不转身离开我。
And I will make an eternal covenant with them that I will not turn away from them, to do them good; and I will put My fear into their hearts, so that they will not turn away from Me.

我必因他们喜乐，必善待他们，且要全心全魂，真真实实，将他们栽植在这地；
And I will rejoice over them to do them good, and I will plant them in this land in faithfulness with all My heart and with all My soul.

因为耶和华如此说，我怎样使这一切大灾祸临到这百姓，我也要照样使我所应许他们的一切福乐，都临到他们。
For thus says Jehovah, Just as I have brought all this great evil upon this people, so I will bring upon them all the good that I promised them.

你们所说，这荒凉、无人、无牲畜，已经交在迦勒底人手中之地，日后在这地必有人置买田地。
And fields will be bought in this land of which you are saying, It is a desolation, without man or beast; it has been given into the hand of the Chaldeans.

在便雅悯地、耶路撒冷四围的各处、犹大的城邑、山地的城邑、低陆的城邑并南地的城邑，人必用银子买田地，写下契约，将契书封缄，请出见证人，因为我必使被掳的人归回；这是耶和华说的。
They will buy fields with money and sign and seal deeds and call witnesses in the land of Benjamin and all around Jerusalem and in the cities of Judah and in the cities of the hill country and in the cities of the lowland and in the cities of the Negev, for I will turn their captivity, declares Jehovah.

耶利米还囚在护卫兵的院内，耶和华的话第二次临到他，说，
And the word of Jehovah came to Jeremiah a second time while he was still shut up in the court of the guard, saying,

成就的是耶和华，塑造为要建立的也是耶和华；耶和华是祂的名；祂如此说，
Thus says Jehovah who does it, Jehovah who formed it to establish it — Jehovah is His name —

你呼求我，我就应允你，并将你所不知道，又大又隐密的事指示你。
Call unto Me, and I will answer you and tell you great and hidden things, which you do not know.

论到这城中的房屋，和犹大王的宫室，就是拆毁为了抵挡围城土垒和刀剑的，耶和华以色列的神如此说，
For thus says Jehovah the God of Israel concerning the houses of this city and concerning the houses of the kings of Judah, which were torn down as a defense against the siege mounds and against the sword,

人要与迦勒底人争战，正是使这些房屋充满死尸，就是我在怒气和忿怒中所击杀的人；因他们的一切恶，我就掩面不顾这城；
And who came to fight with the Chaldeans and to fill the houses with the corpses of men whom I have struck in My anger and My wrath, and this city from which I have hidden My face because of all their wickedness:

我要使这城得着康复痊愈，使城中的人得着医治；又要将丰盛的平安和真实显明与他们。
I am about to bring it recovery and healing and will heal them; and I will reveal to them an abundance of peace and truth.

我也要使犹大被掳的和以色列被掳的归回，并且建造他们，和起初一样。
And I will turn the captivity of Judah and the captivity of Israel and build them up as in the former time.

我要洁净他们一切的罪孽，就是向我所犯的罪；又要赦免他们一切的罪孽，就是向我所犯的罪，并干犯我的罪。
And I will cleanse them from all their iniquity, by which they have sinned against Me, and forgive all their iniquities, by which they have sinned against Me and by which they have transgressed against Me.

这城要在地上万国的人面前，名为可喜乐的城，使我得赞美，得荣耀，万国的人必听见我要向他们所施的一切福乐；他们因我向这城所施的一切福乐与平安，就惧怕战兢。
And it will be a name of gladness and a praise and a glory to Me before all the nations of the earth, who will hear of all the good that I am about to do for them; and they will fear and tremble because of all the good and because of all the peace that I am about to provide for it.

耶和华如此说，你们论这地方说，这是荒废无人、无牲畜之地，但在这荒凉无人、无居民、无牲畜的犹大城邑，和耶路撒冷的街上，
Thus says Jehovah, Again there will be heard in this place concerning which you say, It is a waste, without man and without beast, and in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem that are desolate, without man and without inhabitant and without beast,

必再听见欢喜和快乐的声音，新郎和新妇的声音，并听见那些带着感谢祭到耶和华殿中之人的声音，说，要赞美万军之耶和华，因耶和华本为善，祂的慈爱永远长存；因为我必使这地被掳的人归回，和起初一样；这是耶和华说的。
The voice of gladness and the voice of joy and the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride and the voice of those who say, Praise Jehovah of hosts, for Jehovah is good, for His lovingkindness is forever, as they bring a sacrifice of thanksgiving to the house of Jehovah; for I will turn the captivity of the land, as in the former time, says Jehovah.

万军之耶和华如此说，在这荒废无人、无牲畜之地，并其中所有的城邑，必再有牧人的住处，他们要使羊群躺卧在那里。
For thus says Jehovah of hosts, Again there will be in this place which is a waste, without man and without beast, and in all its cities, a habitation of shepherds making their flock lie down.

在山地的城邑、低陆的城邑、南地的城邑、便雅悯地、耶路撒冷四围的各处和犹大的城邑，必再有羊群从数点的人手下经过；这是耶和华说的。
In the cities of the hill country, in the cities of the lowland and in the cities of the Negev and in the land of Benjamin and all around Jerusalem and in the cities of Judah, the flock will again pass under the hand of the one who counts them, says Jehovah.

耶和华说，日子将到，我所说关于以色列家和犹大家美善的话，我必然坚立。
Indeed, days are coming, declares Jehovah, when I will establish the good word which I have spoken concerning the house of Israel and concerning the house of Judah.

当那些日子，那时候，我必使大卫公义的苗长起来；祂必在这地上施行公理和公义。
In those days and at that time I will cause a Shoot of righteousness to shoot forth unto David, and He will execute justice and righteousness in the land.

在那些日子，犹大必得救，耶路撒冷必安然居住；这城的名必称为：耶和华我们的义。
In those days Judah will be saved, and Jerusalem will dwell securely; and this is the name by which she will be called: Jehovah our righteousness.

因为耶和华如此说，大卫必永不断人坐在以色列家的宝座上；
For thus says Jehovah, David will never lack a man to sit on the throne of the house of Israel,

祭司利未人在我面前也永不断人献燔祭，献素祭，时常办理献祭的事。
And the Levitical priests will never lack a man before Me to offer up a burnt offering and to offer up a meal offering and to make a sacrifice continually.

耶和华的话临到耶利米，说，
And the word of Jehovah came to Jeremiah, saying,

耶和华如此说，你们若能废弃我所立白日的约与黑夜的约，使白日黑夜不按其时，
Thus says Jehovah, If you can break My covenant with respect to the day and My covenant with respect to the night, so that day and night will not be at their appointed time,

就能废弃我与我仆人大卫所立的约，使他没有儿子在他的宝座上为王，并能废弃我与事奉我的祭司利未人所立的约。
Then also My covenant can be broken with David My servant, so that he will not have a son to reign on his throne, and with the Levitical priests as My ministers.

天上的万象怎样不能数算，海边的尘沙怎样不能度量，我必照样使我仆人大卫的后裔，和事奉我的利未人多起来。
As the host of heaven cannot be numbered and the sand of the sea cannot be measured, so I will multiply the seed of David My servant and the Levites who minister to Me.

耶和华的话临到耶利米，说，
And the word of Jehovah came to Jeremiah, saying,

这百姓所说的你没有看明么？他们说，耶和华所拣选的二家族，祂已经弃绝了；他们藐视我的百姓，不再把他们看为一国。
Have you not seen what this people has spoken, saying, The two families which Jehovah has chosen, these He has rejected? And they despise My people, so that they are no longer a nation in their sight.

耶和华如此说，若是我所立白日与黑夜的约不能存立，若是我未曾设立天地的定例，
Thus says Jehovah, If My covenant with respect to day and night does not stand, if I have not established the statutes of heaven and earth,

我也就弃绝雅各的后裔，和我仆人大卫的后裔，不从大卫的后裔中拣选人治理亚伯拉罕、以撒、雅各的后裔；因为我必使他们被掳的人归回，也必怜恤他们。
Then I will also reject the seed of Jacob and David My servant and will not take rulers from his seed to be over the seed of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; for I will turn their captivity and will have compassion on them.
