Subject:The Gospel of Life — Proving That Jesus Christ Is God the Savior Coming as Life to Propagate Himself

JohnChapter 1
1In the beginning was the  2Word, and the Word was  3with God, and the  4Word was  5God.
1He was  2in the beginning with God.
All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him not one thing came into being which has come into being.
In Him was  1life, and the life was the  2light of men.
And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not overcome it.
There came a man  1sent from God, whose name was John.
1He came for a testimony that he might testify concerning the light, that all might believe through him.
He was not the light, but came that he might testify concerning the light.
This was the true light which, coming into the world, enlightens every man.
He was in the world, and the world came into being through Him, yet the world did not know Him.
He came to His own, yet those who were His own did not receive Him.
But as many as  1received Him, to them He gave the authority to become  2children of God, to those who  1believe into His name,
Who were begotten not  1of  2blood, nor  1of the  2will of the flesh, nor  1of the will of man, but  1of God.
And the  1Word became  2flesh and  3tabernacled among us (and  4we beheld His glory, glory as of the only Begotten  5from the Father), full of  6grace and reality.
John testified concerning Him and cried out, saying, This was He of whom I said, He who is coming after me has become ahead of me, because He was before me.
For  1of His fullness we have all received, and grace upon grace.
For the law was given through Moses;  1grace and reality  2came through Jesus Christ.
No one has ever seen God; the  1only begotten Son, who is  2in the bosom of the Father, He has  3declared Him.
And this is the testimony of John, when the Jews sent to him priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, Who are you?
And he confessed and did not deny, and he confessed, I am not the Christ.
And they asked him, What then? Are you Elijah? And he said, I am not. Are you the Prophet? And he answered, No.
They said then to him, Who are you, that we may give an answer to those who sent us? What do you say about yourself?
He said, I am a voice of one crying in the wilderness, “Make straight the way of the Lord!” as Isaiah the prophet said.
And those who had been sent were of the Pharisees.
And they asked him and said to him, Why then are you baptizing if you are not the Christ nor Elijah nor the Prophet?
John answered them, saying, I baptize in water; but among you stands One whom you do not know,
He who is coming after me, the thong of whose sandal I am not worthy to untie.
These things took place in  1Bethany across the Jordan, where John was baptizing.
The next day he saw Jesus coming to him and said, Behold, the  1Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the  2world!
This is He of whom I said, A man is coming after me who has become ahead of me, because He was before me.
And I did not know Him, but in order that He might be manifested to Israel, for this reason I came baptizing in water.
And John testified, saying, I beheld the Spirit descending as a  1dove out of heaven, and He abode upon Him.
And I did not know Him, but He who sent me to baptize in water, He said to me, He upon whom you see the Spirit descending and abiding upon Him, this is He who baptizes in the Holy Spirit.
And I have seen and have testified that this is the Son of God.
Again the next day John was standing with two of his disciples,
And looking at Jesus walking, he said, Behold, the Lamb of God!
And the two disciples heard him speak this, and they followed Jesus.
And Jesus, turning and beholding them following, said to them, What are you seeking? And they said to Him, Rabbi (which translated means Teacher), where are You staying?
He said to them, Come, and you will see. They went therefore and saw where He was staying, and they stayed with Him that day; it was about the  1tenth hour.
One of the two who heard this from John and followed Him was Andrew, Simon Peter's brother.
He first found his own brother Simon and said to him, We have found the  1Messiah (which translated means Christ).
He led him to Jesus. Looking at him, Jesus said, You are Simon, the son of John; you shall be called Cephas (which is interpreted,  1Peter).
The next day He wanted to go forth into Galilee, and He found Philip. And Jesus said to him, Follow Me.
Now Philip was from Bethsaida, of the city of Andrew and Peter.
Philip found Nathanael and said to him, We have found Him of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets, wrote, Jesus, the  1son of Joseph, from Nazareth.
And Nathanael said to him, Can anything good be from Nazareth? Philip said to him, Come and see.
Jesus saw Nathanael coming to Him and said concerning him, Behold, truly an Israelite, in whom there is no guile!
Nathanael said to Him, How do You know me? Jesus answered and said to him, Before Philip called you, while you were under the fig tree, I saw you.
Nathanael answered Him, Rabbi, You are the Son of God; You are the  1King of Israel.
Jesus answered and said to him, Is it because I told you that I saw you under the fig tree that you believe? You shall see greater things than these.
And He said to him,  1Truly, truly, I say to you, You shall see  2heaven opened and the angels of God ascending and descending on the  3Son of Man.

JohnChapter 2
And the  1third day a  2wedding took place in  3Cana of  4Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there.
And Jesus also was invited, as well as His disciples, to the wedding.
And when the  1wine  2ran out, the  3mother of Jesus said to Him, They have no wine.
And Jesus said to her,  1Woman,  2what do I have in this that concerns you? My hour has not yet come.
His mother said to the servants, Whatever He says to you, do.
Now there were  1six stone waterpots lying there, according to the  2Jews' rite of purification, holding  3two or three measures each.
Jesus said to them, Fill the waterpots with  1water. And they filled them up to the brim.
And He said to them, Draw some out now and take it to the master of the feast. And they took it to him.
And when the master of the feast tasted the  1water which had become wine and did not know where it came from, though the servants who had drawn the water knew, the master of the feast called the bridegroom
And said to him, Every man sets out the good wine first, and when they have drunk freely, then that which is worse; you have kept the good wine until now.
This  1beginning of  2signs Jesus performed in Cana of Galilee and  3manifested His glory, and His disciples believed into Him.
After this He went down to Capernaum, He and His mother and His brothers and His disciples; and they remained there not many days.
And the Passover of the Jews was near, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.
And He found in the  1temple those selling oxen and sheep and doves, and the moneychangers sitting there.
And  1having made a whip out of  2cords, He drove them all out of the temple, as well as the sheep and the oxen, and He poured out the money of the moneychangers and overturned their tables.
And to those who were selling the doves He said, Take these things away from here; do not make My Father's house a house of merchandise.
His disciples remembered that it was written, “The zeal of Your house shall devour Me.”
The Jews then answered and said to Him, What sign do you show us, seeing that you do these things?
Jesus answered and said to them, Destroy this  1temple, and in  2three days I will raise it up.
Then the Jews said, This temple was built in forty-six years, and You will raise it up in three days?
But He spoke of the temple of His body.
When therefore He was raised from the dead, His disciples remembered that He had said this, and they believed the Scripture and the word which Jesus had spoken.
Now when He was in Jerusalem at the Passover, during the feast, many believed into His name when they saw the signs which He did.
But Jesus Himself did not entrust Himself to them, for He knew all men,
And because He did not need anyone to testify concerning man, for He Himself knew what was in man.
