00:00 --:--
And putting out to sea from Paphos, Paul and his companions came to Perga of Pamphylia; and John  1departed from them and returned to Jerusalem.
And they passed through from Perga and arrived at Pisidian Antioch. And they went into the synagogue  1on the Sabbath day and sat down.
And after the reading of the Law and the Prophets, the synagogue rulers sent word to them, saying,  1Men, brothers, if you have any word of exhortation for the people, say it.
And Paul, rising up and motioning with his hand, said,  1Men of Israel and  2those who fear God, listen.
The God of this people Israel chose our fathers and exalted the people during their sojourn in the land of Egypt, and with a  1high arm He led them out of it.
And for a time of about forty years  1He carried them as a nurse in the wilderness.
And when He had overthrown seven nations in the land of Canaan, He distributed their land as an inheritance.
And after these things, for about  1four hundred and fifty years, He gave them judges until Samuel the prophet.
And afterward they asked for a king; and God gave them Saul, the son of Kish, a man of the tribe of Benjamin, for forty years.
And when He had deposed him, He raised up David for them as king, to whom also He testified and said, I have found David, the son of Jesse, a man according to My  1heart, who will do all My will.
From this man's seed, God, according to promise, brought to Israel a Savior, Jesus,
After John had proclaimed,  1prior to His public entrance, a  2baptism of repentance to all the people of Israel.
Now as John was completing his course, he said, What do you  1suppose that I am? I am not the Christ. But behold, One is coming after me, the sandals of whose feet I am not worthy to untie.
 1Men, brothers, sons of the race of Abraham, and  2those among you who fear God, to us the word of this salvation has been sent forth.
For those dwelling in Jerusalem and their rulers, being ignorant of this One and of the  1words of the prophets which are read every Sabbath, fulfilled them by  2judging Him.
And though they did not find one cause of death in Him, they asked of Pilate that He be done away with.
And when they had accomplished all that was written concerning Him, they took Him down from the tree and laid Him in a tomb.
But  1God raised Him from the dead.
And for many days He appeared to those who had come up with Him from Galilee to Jerusalem, who are now His witnesses to the people.
And we announce to you the gospel of the promise made to the fathers,
That God has fully fulfilled this promise to us their children in raising up Jesus, as it is also written in the second Psalm, “You are My Son; this day have I  1begotten You.”
And as to His having raised Him up from the dead, no longer to return to corruption, He spoke in this way, “I will give you  1the  2holy things of David, the faithful things.”
Therefore He also says in another place, “You will not  1allow Your Holy One to see corruption.”
Now David, having  1served his own generation by the counsel of God, did indeed fall asleep and was  2buried with his fathers and saw corruption;
But He whom  1God has raised did not see corruption.
Therefore let it be known to you,  1men, brothers, that through this One forgiveness of sins is announced to you;
And from all the things from which you were not able to be justified  1by the law of Moses, in this One everyone who believes is  2justified.
Therefore beware that what is spoken in the prophets does not come upon you:
“Look, you despisers, and marvel, and vanish away; for I am doing a work in your days, a work which you will by no means believe, though someone tells it to you in detail.”
And as Paul and Barnabas were going out, the people begged that these words would be spoken to them on the next Sabbath.
And when the synagogue gathering had been dismissed, many of the Jews and the devout  1proselytes followed Paul and Barnabas, who spoke to them and urged them to continue in the  2grace of God.
And on the following Sabbath almost all the city gathered together to hear the word of God.
But when the Jews saw the crowds, they were filled with jealousy and contradicted the things being spoken by Paul and blasphemed.
And Paul and Barnabas spoke boldly and said, It was necessary for the word of God to be spoken to you first. Since you thrust it away and do  1not judge yourselves worthy of eternal life, behold, we turn to the Gentiles.
For so the Lord has commanded us, “I have set  1you as a light of the Gentiles, that you would be for salvation unto the uttermost part of the earth.”
And the Gentiles, hearing this, rejoiced and glorified the word of the Lord; and as many as were  1appointed to eternal life believed.
And the word of the Lord was carried through the whole region.
But the Jews incited the women of high standing who worshipped God, and the chief men of the city, and raised up a persecution against Paul and Barnabas and cast them out from their borders.
But they shook off the dust of their feet against them and came to Iconium.
And the disciples were  1filled with joy and with the Holy Spirit.

EzraChapter 1
 1Now in the first year of Cyrus the king of Persia, so that the word of Jehovah by the mouth of Jeremiah might be accomplished, Jehovah  2stirred up the spirit of  3Cyrus the king of Persia; and he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom and put it also in writing, saying,
Thus says Cyrus the king of Persia, All the kingdoms of the earth has Jehovah the God of heaven given to me; and He has charged me to build Him a  1house in Jerusalem, which is in Judah.
Whoever there is among you of all His people, may his God be with him; and let him go up to Jerusalem, which is in Judah, and let him build the house of Jehovah the God of Israel — He is God — who is in Jerusalem.
And everyone who is left, in whatever place he sojourns, let the men of his place support him with silver and with gold and with goods and with cattle, besides the freewill offering for the house of God, which is in Jerusalem.
Then the heads of the fathers' houses of Judah and Benjamin and the priests and the Levites rose up, even everyone whose spirit God had stirred up to go up to build the house of Jehovah, which is in Jerusalem.
And all those around them strengthened their hands with vessels of silver, with gold, with goods, and with cattle and with precious things, besides all that was offered willingly.
Also King Cyrus brought out the  1vessels of the house of Jehovah, which Nebuchadnezzar had brought out from Jerusalem and had put in the house of his gods;
And Cyrus the king of Persia had them brought out by the hand of Mithredath the treasurer and had them enumerated to  1Sheshbazzar the prince of Judah.
And this was their number: thirty gold dishes, one thousand silver dishes, twenty-nine knives,
Thirty gold bowls, four hundred ten silver bowls of a different kind, and one thousand other vessels.
There were five thousand four hundred vessels of gold and silver in all. Sheshbazzar brought up all of them with those of the captivity who were brought up from Babylon to Jerusalem.
