00:00 --:--
But I praise you because in all things you have remembered me and hold fast the  1things that I have handed down even as I handed  1them down to you.
But I want you to know that  1Christ is the head of every man, and the  2man is the head of the woman, and  3God is the head of Christ.
Every man praying or  1prophesying with his head covered  2disgraces his head.
But every woman praying or prophesying with her head  1uncovered disgraces her head; for it is one and the same as she who is  2shaved.
For if a woman is not covered, let her hair also be cut off; but if it is shameful for a woman to have her hair cut off or to be shaved,  1let her be covered.
For a man ought not to have his head covered, since he is  1God's image and glory; but the woman is the  2glory of the man.
For man is not out of woman, but  1woman out of man;
For also man was not  1created for the sake of the woman, but  2woman for the sake of the man.
Therefore the woman ought to have a  1sign of submission to authority on her head for the  2sake of the angels.
However neither is woman without man, nor man without woman,  1in the Lord.
For just as the woman is out from the man, so also is the man  1through the woman; but all things are out from God.
Judge this in your own selves: Is it fitting for a woman to pray uncovered to God?
Does not even  1nature itself teach you that if a man has long hair, it is a dishonor to him,
But if a woman has long hair, it is a glory to her, because her long hair has been given to her for a covering.
But if anyone seems to be contentious, we do not have  1such a custom of being so, neither the  2churches of God.
 1But I give you  2this charge and do not praise you, because you come together not for the better but for the worse.
For first of all, when you come together  1in the church, I hear that divisions exist among you; and some part of it I believe.
For there must even be  1parties among you, that those who are  2approved may become  3manifest among you.
When therefore you come together in the same place, it is not to eat the  1Lord's supper;
For in your eating, each one takes his own  1supper first, and one is hungry and the other is drunk.
Do you not have houses to eat and drink in? Or do you despise the church of God and put those to shame who have not? What shall I say to you? Shall I praise you? In this I do not praise you.
For I received from the Lord that which also I delivered to you, that the Lord Jesus in the night in which He was  1betrayed took bread,
And having given thanks, He  1broke it and said, This is My body, which is given for you; this do  2unto the  3remembrance of Me.
Similarly also the cup after they had dined, saying, This  1cup is the new covenant established in My blood; this do, as often as you  2drink it, unto the remembrance of Me.
For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you  1declare the Lord's death  2until He comes.
So then whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an  1unworthy manner will  2be guilty of the body and of the blood of the Lord.
But let a man  1prove himself, and in this way let him eat of the bread and drink of the cup.
For he who eats and drinks, eats and drinks  1judgment to himself if he does not  2discern  3the body.
Because of  1this many among you are  2weak and sick, and a number  3sleep.
But if we  1discerned ourselves, we would not be judged.
But being  1judged by the Lord, we are disciplined that we may not be  2condemned with the world.
So then, my brothers, when you come together to eat,  1wait for one another.
If anyone is hungry, let him eat at home, that you may not come together for judgment. And the  1rest I will set in order when I come.

A Song of Ascents

PsalmsChapter 132
Remember, O Jehovah, for  1David's sake
All his  2afflictions;
How he swore to Jehovah
And vowed to the Mighty One of Jacob:
I shall not go into the tent of my house;
I shall not go up onto the couch of my bed;
I shall not give sleep to my eyes,
Slumber to my eyelids;
Until I find a place for Jehovah,
A tabernacle for the Mighty One of Jacob.
Behold, we heard of it in Ephrathah;
We found it in the fields of  1Jaar.
We will go into His tabernacle;
We will worship at His footstool.
Arise, O Jehovah, unto Your resting place,
You and the Ark of Your strength.
Let Your priests be clothed with righteousness,
And let Your faithful ones give a ringing shout.
For the sake of David Your servant,
Do not turn away the face of Your Anointed One.
Jehovah has sworn unto David in truth;
He will not turn from it:
Of the  1fruit of your body I will set One upon your throne.
If your children keep My covenant
And My testimonies that I will teach them,
Their children also will sit
Upon your throne forever.
For Jehovah has chosen  1Zion;
He has desired it for His habitation.
 1This is My  2resting place forever;
Here will I dwell, for I have desired it.
I will abundantly bless its provision;
I will satisfy its poor with bread.
And its priests I will clothe with salvation,
And its faithful ones will shout with a ringing shout.
There I will cause a  1horn of David to shoot forth;
I have prepared a lamp for My anointed one.
I will clothe his enemies with shame,
But on him his crown will shine.

A Song of Ascents. Of David

PsalmsChapter 133
 1Behold,  2how good and  2how pleasant it is
For brothers to dwell in  3unity!
It is like the fine  1oil upon the head
That  2ran down upon the beard,
Upon Aaron's beard,
That ran down upon the hem of his garments;
Like the  1dew of Hermon
That came down upon the  2mountains of Zion.
For there Jehovah commanded the blessing:
 3Life forever.

A Song of Ascents

PsalmsChapter 134
 1Bless Jehovah now,
All you servants of Jehovah
Who stand by night in the house of Jehovah.
Lift up your hands in the sanctuary,
And bless Jehovah.
May Jehovah, who made heaven and earth,
Bless you  1from Zion.
