Jesus said these things, and He went away and was hidden from them.

But though He had done so many signs before them, they did not believe into Him,
祂虽然在他们面前行了许多神迹，他们还是不信入祂。

That the word of the prophet Isaiah which he said might be fulfilled, “Lord, who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?”
这是要应验申言者以赛亚的话，说，“主啊，我们所传给人听的，有谁信？主的膀臂向谁显露？”

For this reason they could not believe, because again Isaiah said,
他们所以不能信，因为以赛亚又说，

“He has blinded their eyes and He hardened their heart, that they might not see with their eyes and understand with their heart and turn, and I will heal them.”
“主叫他们瞎了眼，硬了心，免得他们眼睛看见，心里明白，回转过来，我就医治他们。”

These things said Isaiah because he saw His glory and spoke concerning Him.
以赛亚说这些话，是因为看见了祂的荣耀，就指着祂说的。

Nevertheless even many of the rulers believed into Him, but because of the Pharisees they did not confess Him, so that they would not be put out of the synagogue;
虽然如此，官长中却有好些信入祂的，只因法利赛人的缘故，就不承认，恐怕被赶出会堂。

For they loved the glory of men more than the glory of God.
这是因为他们爱人的荣耀，过于爱神的荣耀。

But Jesus cried out and said, He who believes into Me does not believe into Me, but into Him who sent Me;
耶稣喊着说，信入我的，不是信入我，乃是信入那差我来的。

And he who beholds Me beholds Him who sent Me.
看见我的，就是看见那差我来的。

I have come as a light into the world, that everyone who believes into Me would not remain in darkness.
我到世上来作光，叫一切信入我的，不住在黑暗里。

And if anyone hears My words and does not keep them, I do not judge him; for I have not come to judge the world, but to save the world.
若有人听见我的话不遵守，我不审判他；因为我来不是要审判世人，乃是要拯救世人。

He who rejects Me and does not receive My words has one who judges him; the word which I have spoken, that will judge him in the last day.
弃绝我不领受我话的人，有审判他的，就是我所讲的话，在末日要审判他。

For I have not spoken from Myself; but the Father who sent Me, He Himself has given Me commandment, what to say and what to speak.
因为我所讲的没有出于自己的；惟有差我来的父，已经给了我命令，叫我说什么，讲什么。

And I know that His commandment is eternal life. The things therefore that I speak, even as the Father has said to Me, so I speak.
我也知道祂的命令就是永远的生命。所以我所讲的，乃是父怎样告诉我，我就照样讲。

Now when Athaliah the mother of Ahaziah saw that her son was dead, she rose up and destroyed all the royal seed.
亚哈谢的母亲亚他利雅见她儿子死了，就起来剿灭王室所有的后裔。

But Jehosheba, the daughter of King Joram and sister of Ahaziah, took Joash the son of Ahaziah and stole him away from among the sons of the king who were about to be killed; she put him and his nurse into the bedchamber. So they hid him from Athaliah, and he was not killed.
但约兰王的女儿，亚哈谢的妹妹约示巴，将亚哈谢的儿子约阿施从那些将要被杀的王子中偷出来，把他和他的乳母都藏在卧房里。她们把他藏起来，躲避亚他利雅，他就没有被杀。

And he was with her, hidden in the house of Jehovah, for six years while Athaliah reigned over the land.
约阿施和他的乳母藏在耶和华的殿里六年；亚他利雅作了那地的王。

Then in the seventh year Jehoiada sent word and gathered the captains of the hundreds over the Carites and over the guards and brought them to him at the house of Jehovah. And he made a covenant with them and put them under an oath in the house of Jehovah, then showed them the king's son.
第七年，耶何耶大打发人把迦利人和护卫兵的众百夫长带来，领他们进了耶和华的殿，到他那里。他与他们立约，使他们在耶和华殿里起誓，又将王的儿子指给他们看，

And he commanded them, saying, This is the thing that you shall do: A third of you who come on duty on the Sabbath shall keep watch over the king's house;
吩咐他们说，你们当这样行：凡安息日进班的，三分之一要看守王宫，

And another third shall keep watch in the gate of Sur; and another third shall keep watch at the gate behind the guards. You shall keep watch over the house for a defense.
三分之一要在苏珥门，三分之一要在护卫兵院的后门。你们要看守王宫，拦阻闲人。

And the two divisions of you, all who go off duty on the Sabbath, shall keep watch over the house of Jehovah for the king.
你们所有在安息日出班的，三分之二要看守耶和华的殿，护卫王；

And you shall surround the king, each man with his weapons in his hand; and whoever enters the ranks shall be put to death; and you shall be with the king in his goings and comings.
各人手拿兵器，四面围护王。凡擅入你们班次的，必被处死；王出入的时候，你们当跟随他。

And the captains of the hundreds did according to all that Jehoiada the priest commanded them. And each took his men, those who came on duty on the Sabbath with those who went off duty on the Sabbath; and they came to Jehoiada the priest.
众百夫长就照着祭司耶何耶大一切所吩咐的去行，各带所管安息日进班出班的人来见祭司耶何耶大。

And the priest gave the spears and shields that had belonged to King David, which were in the house of Jehovah, to the captains of the hundreds.
祭司将耶和华殿里所藏大卫王的枪和盾牌交给百夫长。

And the guards stood, each man with his weapons in his hand, from the right flank of the house to the left flank of the house, by the altar and by the house, to guard the king all around.
护卫兵手中各拿兵器，在坛和殿那里，从殿右直到殿左，站在王子的四围。

And he brought the king's son out and put the crown on him and gave him the testimony. And they made him king and anointed him, and they clapped their hands and said, Long live the king!
祭司领王子出来，给他戴上冠冕，将律法书交给他，立他作王，用膏膏他；众人拍掌说，愿王万岁！

Now when Athaliah heard the noise of the guard and of the people, she went to the people at the house of Jehovah.
亚他利雅听见护卫兵和民的声音，就进耶和华的殿，到民那里，

And she looked, and there was the king, standing by the pillar, according to the custom, with the captains and the trumpets near the king. And all the people of the land rejoiced and blew the trumpets. And Athaliah tore her clothes and cried out, Treason! Treason!
看见王照例站在柱旁，百夫长和吹号的人在王左右，那地的众民欢乐吹号；亚他利雅就撕裂衣服，喊叫说，反了！反了！

And Jehoiada the priest commanded the captains of the hundreds who had been set over the army and said to them, Bring her out between the ranks, and anyone who follows her kill with a sword; for the priest said, She shall not be killed in the house of Jehovah.
祭司耶何耶大吩咐管辖军兵的百夫长说，将她赶出班外，凡跟随她的必用刀杀死；因为祭司说，她不可在耶和华的殿里被杀。

And they made way for her, and she went to the house of the king through the horses' entrance and was killed there.
众兵就闪开让她去；她经由马的入口处进王宫时，便在那里被杀。

And Jehoiada made a covenant between Jehovah and the king and the people that they would be Jehovah's people, and also between the king and the people.
耶何耶大使王和民与耶和华立约，使他们作耶和华的民；又在王与民之间立约。

And all the people of the land went to the house of Baal and broke it down: The altars to him and his images they shattered to pieces, and they slew Mattan the priest of Baal before the altars. And the priest appointed officers over the house of Jehovah.
于是那地的众民都到巴力庙，拆毁了庙，将巴力的坛和像完全打碎，又在坛前将巴力的祭司玛坦杀了。祭司耶何耶大派官看守耶和华的殿，

And Jehoiada gathered the captains of the hundreds and the Carites and the guards and all the people of the land. And they brought the king down from the house of Jehovah and came by way of the guard gate to the house of the king, and he sat upon the throne of the kings.
又率领百夫长和迦利人与护卫兵，以及那地的众民，请王从耶和华的殿下来，经护卫兵的门进入王宫，他就坐上王位。

And all the people of the land rejoiced, and the city was quiet; for they had slain Athaliah with the sword at the house of the king.
那地的众民都欢乐，合城都安静；众人已将亚他利雅在王宫那里用刀杀了。

Jehoash was seven years old when he began to reign.
约阿施登基的时候年七岁。

In the seventh year of Jehu, Jehoash began to reign; and he reigned forty years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Zibiah of Beer-sheba.
耶户第七年，约阿施登基，在耶路撒冷作王四十年。他母亲名叫西比亚，是别是巴人。

And Jehoash did what was right in the sight of Jehovah all the days in which Jehoiada the priest instructed him.
约阿施在祭司耶何耶大教导他的一切日子，就行耶和华眼中看为正的事；

However the high places were not removed; the people still sacrificed and burned incense in the high places.
只是邱坛还没有废去，百姓仍在邱坛献祭烧香。

And Jehoash said to the priests, All the money of the sanctified things which goes into the house of Jehovah — the money of everyone who passes through the numbering, the money of each person's assessment, and all the money that comes up in the heart of anyone to bring into the house of Jehovah —
约阿施对众祭司说，凡奉到耶和华殿分别为圣之物中的银子──每一个经过数点之人当纳的银子，各人被估的身价，或各人心中起意要奉到耶和华殿的银子──

Let the priests take, each man from his acquaintance; and they shall repair what is broken in the house, wherever anything is found broken.
祭司每人当从所认识的人收了来，修理殿的一切破损之处。

But as of the twenty-third year of King Jehoash, the priests had not repaired what was broken in the house.
无奈到了约阿施王二十三年，祭司仍未修理殿的破损之处。

So King Jehoash summoned Jehoiada the priest and the priests and said to them, Why have you not been repairing what is broken in the house? Now therefore take no more money from your acquaintances, but deliver it for what is broken in the house.
所以约阿施王召了大祭司耶何耶大和众祭司来，对他们说，你们怎么不修理殿的破损之处呢？从今以后，你们不要从所认识的人再收银子，要将所收的交出来，用以修理殿的破损之处。

And the priests agreed that they would neither take money from the people nor repair what was broken in the house.
众祭司答应不再从百姓收银子，也不修理殿的破损之处。

Then Jehoiada the priest took a chest and bored a hole in its lid, and he put it beside the altar, on the right side as one comes into the house of Jehovah. And the priests who guarded the threshold put all the money that came into the house of Jehovah into it.
祭司耶何耶大取了一个柜子，在柜盖上钻了一个洞孔，放于坛旁，在进耶和华殿的右边；守门的祭司将奉到耶和华殿的一切银子投在柜里。

And whenever they saw that there was a large amount of money in the chest, the king's scribe and the high priest would go up and bind the money that was found in the house of Jehovah in bags and count it.
他们见柜里的银子多了，便叫王的书记和大祭司上来，将耶和华殿里所得的银子包起来，加以数算。

And they would give the money that was weighed out into the hands of those who did the work, who had the oversight of the house of Jehovah; and these would pay it out to the carpenters and the builders who worked on the house of Jehovah,
把所称的银子交给办事的，就是耶和华殿里督工的人；督工的人把银子支付给修理耶和华殿的木匠和建筑工，

And to the masons and to the stone hewers and for the purchase of timber and hewn stone, to repair what was broken in the house of Jehovah, and for any other outlay to repair the house.
并支付给泥水匠和石匠，又用以买木料和凿成的石头，修理耶和华殿的破损之处，并支付修理殿的各样开支。

But there were no cups of silver, snuffers, basins, trumpets, or any vessels of gold or any vessels of silver prepared for the house of Jehovah out of the money that was brought into the house of Jehovah;
但那奉到耶和华殿的银子，没有用以作耶和华殿里的银杯、灯剪、碗、号、或任何金银器皿；

For they gave it all to those who did the work, who repaired the house of Jehovah with it.
乃将那银子交给办事的人，用以修理耶和华的殿。

And they did not ask for an accounting from the men into whose hands they had given the money to use for doing the work, for these worked faithfully.
他们将银子交给那些人，好付给作工的人，并不与那些人算账，因为他们办事诚实可信。

The money from the trespass offerings and the money from the sin offerings was not brought into the house of Jehovah; it was the priests'.
惟有赎愆祭的银子和赎罪祭的银子，没有奉到耶和华的殿，都归祭司。

At that time Hazael the king of Syria went up and fought against Gath and took it. And Hazael set his face to go up toward Jerusalem.
那时，亚兰王哈薛上来攻打迦特，攻取了；哈薛就定意上来攻打耶路撒冷。

And Jehoash the king of Judah took all the sanctified things which Jehoshaphat and Jehoram and Ahaziah, his fathers the kings of Judah, had sanctified and his own sanctified things and all the gold that was found in the treasuries of the house of Jehovah and the house of the king; and he sent it to Hazael the king of Syria. And he went up from Jerusalem.
犹大王约阿施将一切分别为圣的物，就是他列祖犹大王约沙法、约兰、亚哈谢所分别为圣的物，和自己所分别为圣的物，并耶和华殿与王宫府库里所有的金子，都送给亚兰王哈薛；哈薛就从耶路撒冷退去了。

And the rest of the acts of Joash and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?
约阿施其余的事，凡他所行的，岂不都写在犹大诸王记上么？

And his servants rose up and formed a conspiracy. And they struck Joash down in the house of Millo, on the way that leads down to Silla.
约阿施的臣仆起来，同谋背叛，在下到悉拉路上的米罗宫里击杀他。

And it was Jozacar the son of Shimeath and Jehozabad the son of Shomer, his servants, who struck him down; and he died. And they buried him with his fathers in the city of David. And Amaziah his son reigned in his place.
乃是他的臣仆示米押的儿子约撒甲和朔默的儿子约萨拔击杀他，他就死了。众人将他葬在大卫城，与他的列祖葬在一起。他儿子亚玛谢接续他作王。
