三、以色列的“集会”,特别指为宗教目的的聚集。(申四10三一30士二十2撒上十七47王上八14来二12来二12),如为聆听律法(申四10九10十八16徒七38


四、指基督徒的“教会”或“会众”。

A. “教会的聚会”:συνερχομένων ὑμῶν ἐν ἐ. 你们聚会的时候,林前十一18;参林前十四45192835;复数- 林前十一34。另参约三一6


B. “教会会众”,是居住于一地区之基督徒的总称,太十八17徒五11八3林前四17腓四14;参徒十五22。较确定之描述:指耶路撒冷的教会,徒八1十一22;坚革哩,罗十六1;哥林多,林前一2林后一1;帖撒罗尼迦,帖前一1帖后一1;哥罗西,腓利门书之标题,异版。同样,有其他名字者- 启二181218三1714。复数- 徒十五41十六5罗十六16林前七17林后八18192324 及其他多处。在犹太的各教会,加一22帖前二14;加拉太,加一2林前十六1;亚细亚,林前十六19启一4;马其顿,林后八1。κατ᾽ ἐκκλησίαν在各教会徒十四23徒十三1 之κατὰ τ. οὖσαν ἐ.参εἰμί-SG1510戊,始。
