耶稣出来，看见大批的群众，就对他们动了慈心，治好了他们的病人。
And going forth, He saw a great crowd, and He was moved with compassion for them and healed their sick.

到了黄昏，门徒到祂跟前来，说，这是野地，时候已经晚了，请解散这些群众，他们好往村子里去，为自己买食物。
Now when evening fell, the disciples came to Him, saying, This place is deserted and the hour is already late. Send the crowds away that they may go into the villages and buy food for themselves.

耶稣却对他们说，不用他们去，你们给他们吃吧。
But Jesus said to them, They do not need to go away. You give them something to eat.

他们就对祂说，我们这里除了五个饼两条鱼，再没有别的。
And they said to Him, We do not have anything here except five loaves and two fish.

祂就说，拿过来给我。
And He said, Bring them here to Me.

于是吩咐群众坐在草地上，就拿着五个饼两条鱼，望着天祝福，擘开饼，递给门徒，门徒便递给群众。
And after commanding the crowds to recline on the grass, He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, He blessed and broke the loaves and gave them to the disciples, and the disciples to the crowds.

众人都吃，并且吃饱了。他们拾起剩下的零碎，装满了十二篮子。
And they all ate and were satisfied. And they took up what was left over of the broken pieces, twelve handbaskets full.

吃的人，除了妇女孩子，约有五千。
And those who ate were about five thousand men, apart from women and children.

耶稣随即催门徒上船，在祂以先到对岸去，等祂解散群众。
And immediately He compelled the disciples to step into the boat and to go before Him to the other side, while He sent the crowds away.

既解散了群众，祂就独自上山去祷告。到了晚上，只有祂单独在那里。
And after He sent the crowds away, He went up to the mountain privately to pray. And when night fell, He was there alone.

这时船在海中，因风不顺，被浪折磨。
Now the boat was already in the midst of the sea, being battered by the waves, for the wind was contrary.

夜里四更天，祂在海上向他们走去。
And in the fourth watch of the night He came to them, walking on the sea.

门徒看见祂在海上走，就惊慌，说，这是个鬼怪！由于惧怕，便喊叫起来。
And the disciples, seeing Him walking on the sea, were startled, saying, It is a ghost! And they cried out for fear.

耶稣连忙对他们说，放心，是我，不要怕。
But immediately Jesus talked to them, saying, Take courage. It is I. Do not be afraid.

彼得回答说，主，若是你，请吩咐我从水上到你那里去。
And Peter answered Him and said, Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water.

祂就说，来吧。彼得就从船上下去，在水上向耶稣走去。
And He said, Come. And Peter, coming down from the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus.

只因见风甚大，就害怕，将要沉下去，便喊着说，主啊，救我！
But seeing the strong wind, he became frightened; and as he began to sink, he cried out, saying, Lord, save me!

耶稣赶紧伸手拉住他，对他说，小信的人哪，为什么疑惑？
And immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and took hold of him and said to him, You of little faith, why did you doubt?

他们上了船，风就止住了。
And when they got up into the boat, the wind ceased.

船上的人遂都拜祂说，你真是神的儿子。
And those who were in the boat worshipped Him, saying, Truly You are the Son of God.

他们既渡过去，就上了岸，来到革尼撒勒。
And they crossed over and came to land at Gennesaret.

那地方的人一认出是耶稣，就打发人到四周全境，把一切有病的带到祂那里，
And when the men of that place recognized Him, they sent word into all that surrounding region and brought to Him all who were ill.

求祂让他们只摸祂的衣服穗子，凡摸着的，都完全得了拯救。
And they begged Him that they might only touch the fringe of His garment. And as many as touched were completely healed.

约瑟在左右侍立的人面前情不自禁，大声吩咐说，各人都要离开我出去！约瑟和他弟兄们相认的时候，并没有一个人站在他身边。
Then Joseph could not control himself before all those who attended him; and he cried out, Have everyone go out from me. So there was no one standing with him when Joseph made himself known to his brothers.

他就放声大哭，埃及人和法老家中的人都听见了。
And he wept so loudly that the Egyptians heard it, and the household of Pharaoh heard it.

约瑟对他弟兄们说，我是约瑟；我的父亲还健在么？他弟兄们不能回答，因为在他面前都甚惊惶。
And Joseph said to his brothers, I am Joseph! Is my father still alive? But his brothers could not answer him, so troubled were they at his presence.

约瑟又对他弟兄们说，请你们近前到我这里来。他们就近前来。他说，我是你们的弟兄约瑟，就是你们所卖到埃及的。
And Joseph said to his brothers, Please come closer to me. And they came closer. And he said, I am your brother Joseph, whom you sold into Egypt.

现在，不要因为你们把我卖到这里，自忧自恨。这是神差我在你们以先来，为要保全生命。
And now do not be grieved or angry with yourselves because you sold me here, for God sent me before you to preserve life.

现在这地的饥荒已经二年了，并且还有五年不能耕种，不能收成。
For the famine has been in the midst of the land these two years, and there are still five years in which there will be neither plowing nor harvest.

神差我在你们以先来，为要给你们存留余种在地上，又要大施拯救，使你们存活。
And God sent me before you to preserve for you a remnant in the earth and to keep you alive by a great deliverance.

这样看来，差我到这里来的不是你们，乃是神。祂又立我作法老的父，作他全家的主，并埃及全地的统治者。
So now it was not you who sent me here, but God; and He has made me a father to Pharaoh and lord of all his house and ruler over all the land of Egypt.

你们要赶紧上到我父亲那里，对他说，你的儿子约瑟这样说：神使我作全埃及的主，请你下到我这里来，不要耽延。
Hurry and go up to my father, and say to him, Thus says your son Joseph, God has made me lord of all Egypt; come down to me; do not delay.

你和你的儿子、孙子，连牛群、羊群，并一切所有的，都可以住在歌珊地，与我相近。
And you shall dwell in the land of Goshen and be near to me, you and your children and your children's children and your flocks and your herds and all that you have.

我要在那里奉养你；因为还有五年的饥荒，免得你和你的眷属，并一切所有的，都穷乏了。
And there I will sustain you — for there are still five years of famine to come — so that you and your household and all that you have do not become impoverished.

况且你们的眼和我弟弟便雅悯的眼都看见，是我亲口对你们说话。
And now your eyes see, and the eyes of my brother Benjamin see, that it is my own mouth that speaks to you.

你们也要将我在埃及一切的荣耀，和你们所看见一切的事，都告诉我父亲，又要赶紧将我父亲搬到这里来。
And you must tell my father of all my glory in Egypt and of all that you have seen, and you must hurry and bring my father down here.

于是约瑟伏在他弟弟便雅悯的颈项上哭，便雅悯也在他的颈项上哭。
And he fell upon his brother Benjamin's neck and wept, and Benjamin wept upon his neck.

他又与众弟兄亲嘴，抱着他们哭，随后他弟兄们就和他说话。
And he kissed all his brothers and wept upon them, and after that his brothers talked with him.

这风声传到法老的宫里，说，约瑟的弟兄们来了。法老和他的臣仆都很喜欢。
And when the report was heard in Pharaoh's house, saying, Joseph's brothers have come, it was pleasing to Pharaoh and to his servants.

法老对约瑟说，你吩咐你的弟兄们说，你们要这样行：把驮子抬在牲口上，起程往迦南地去。
And Pharaoh said to Joseph, Say to your brothers, Do this: Load your beasts, and depart; go to the land of Canaan;

将你们的父亲和你们的眷属，都搬到我这里来，我要把埃及最好的地赐给你们，你们也要吃这地肥美的出产。
And take your father and your households, and come to me. And I will give you the best of the land of Egypt, and you will eat the fat of the land.

现在我吩咐你们要这样行：从埃及地带着车辆去，接你们的孩子和妻子，并把你们的父亲载来。
And you are commanded, Do this: Take wagons out of the land of Egypt for your little ones and for your wives; and bring your father, and come.

你们眼中不要顾惜你们的物件，因为埃及全地的美物都是你们的。
And do not be concerned for your possessions, for the best of all the land of Egypt is yours.

以色列的儿子们就如此行。约瑟照着法老的吩咐给他们车辆，和路上用的食物。
And the sons of Israel did so, and Joseph gave them wagons according to the command of Pharaoh and gave them provisions for the way.

又给他们各人一套衣服，惟独给便雅悯三百锭银子，五套衣服；
To each of them he gave changes of garments; but to Benjamin he gave three hundred pieces of silver and five changes of garments.

送给他父亲公驴十匹，驮着埃及的美物；母驴十匹，驮着谷物、饼和其他食物，为他父亲路上用。
And he sent to his father the following: ten donkeys loaded with the best of Egypt, and ten female donkeys loaded with grain, and bread and provision for his father on the way.

于是约瑟打发他弟兄们回去；他们走的时候，约瑟对他们说，你们在路上不要相争。
So he sent his brothers away; and as they departed, he said to them, Do not quarrel on the way.

他们从埃及上去，来到迦南地，他们的父亲雅各那里，
So they went up out of Egypt and came to the land of Canaan to Jacob their father.

告诉他说，约瑟还在，并且作了埃及全地的统治者。雅各心里麻木，因为不信他们。
And they told him, saying, Joseph is still alive, and he is ruler over all the land of Egypt. And his heart grew numb, for he did not believe them.

他们便将约瑟对他们说的一切话，都告诉了他；他们父亲雅各又看见约瑟打发来接他的车辆，灵就苏醒了。
And they told him all the words of Joseph, which he had said to them; and when he saw the wagons which Joseph had sent to carry him, the spirit of Jacob their father revived.

以色列说，罢了！罢了！我的儿子约瑟还在，我要趁着未死以先，去见他一面。
And Israel said, It is enough. Joseph my son is still alive. I will go and see him before I die.

以色列带着一切所有的，起行来到别是巴，就献祭给他父亲以撒的神。
So Israel set out with all that he had and came to Beer-sheba and offered sacrifices to the God of his father Isaac.

神在夜间的异象中对以色列说，雅各，雅各。他说，我在这里。
And God spoke to Israel in the visions of the night and said, Jacob, Jacob. And he said, Here I am.

神说，我是神，就是你父亲的神；你下埃及去不要害怕，因为我必使你在那里成为大国。
And He said, I am God, the God of your father; do not be afraid to go down to Egypt, for I will make of you a great nation there.

我要亲自同你下埃及去，也必定亲自再带你上来；约瑟必给你送终。
I Myself will go down with you to Egypt, and I Myself will also surely bring you up again; and Joseph's hand will close your eyes.

雅各就从别是巴起身。以色列的儿子们使他们的父亲雅各和他们的孩子、妻子，都坐上法老所送来载雅各的车。
And Jacob rose up from Beer-sheba, and the sons of Israel carried Jacob their father and their little ones and their wives in the wagons which Pharaoh had sent to carry him.

他们又带着在迦南地所得的牲畜、财物来到埃及，雅各和他的一切子孙都一同来了。
And they took their livestock and their possessions, which they had acquired in the land of Canaan, and Jacob and all his offspring with him came to Egypt.

雅各把他的儿子和孙子，女儿和孙女，他的一切子孙，一同带到埃及。
His sons and his grandsons with him, his daughters and his granddaughters, and all his offspring he brought with him to Egypt.

来到埃及的以色列人，就是雅各和他的子孙，名字记在下面：雅各的长子是流便。
And these are the names of the children of Israel, who came to Egypt, Jacob and his sons: Jacob's firstborn, Reuben.

流便的儿子是哈诺、法路、希斯伦、迦米。
And the sons of Reuben: Hanoch and Pallu and Hezron and Carmi.

西缅的儿子是耶母利、雅悯、阿辖、雅斤、琐辖，还有迦南女子所生的扫罗。
And the sons of Simeon: Jemuel and Jamin and Ohad and Jachin and Zohar and Shaul the son of a Canaanite woman.

利未的儿子是革顺、哥辖、米拉利。
And the sons of Levi: Gershon, Kohath, and Merari.

犹大的儿子是珥、俄南、示拉、法勒斯、谢拉；只是珥与俄南死在迦南地。法勒斯的儿子是希斯仑、哈母勒。
And the sons of Judah: Er and Onan and Shelah and Perez and Zerah; but Er and Onan died in the land of Canaan. And the sons of Perez were Hezron and Hamul.

以萨迦的儿子是陀拉、普瓦、约伯、伸仑。
And the sons of Issachar: Tola and Puvah and Iob and Shimron.

西布伦的儿子是西烈、以伦、雅利。
And the sons of Zebulun: Sered and Elon and Jahleel.

这些是利亚在巴旦亚兰给雅各所生的儿子，还有女儿底拿。儿孙共三十三人。
These are the sons of Leah, whom she bore to Jacob in Paddan-aram, along with his daughter Dinah. His sons and his daughters were thirty-three persons in all.

迦得的儿子是洗非芸、哈基、书尼、以斯本、以利、亚罗底、亚列利。
And the sons of Gad: Ziphion and Haggi, Shuni and Ezbon, Eri and Arodi and Areli.

亚设的儿子是音拿、亦施瓦、亦施韦、比利亚，还有他们的妹妹西拉。比利亚的儿子是希别、玛结。
And the sons of Asher: Imnah and Ishvah and Ishvi and Beriah, and Serah their sister; and the sons of Beriah: Heber and Malchiel.

这些是拉班给他女儿利亚的婢女悉帕，从雅各所生的儿孙，共有十六人。
These are the sons of Zilpah, whom Laban gave to his daughter Leah; and she bore these to Jacob, sixteen persons.

雅各之妻拉结的儿子是约瑟和便雅悯。
The sons of Rachel, Jacob's wife: Joseph and Benjamin.

约瑟在埃及地生了玛拿西和以法莲，他们是安城的祭司波提非拉的女儿亚西纳给约瑟生的。
And to Joseph in the land of Egypt were born Manasseh and Ephraim, whom Asenath the daughter of Potiphera priest of On bore to him.

便雅悯的儿子是比拉、比结、亚实别、基拉、乃幔、以希、罗实、母平、户平、亚勒。
And the sons of Benjamin: Bela and Becher and Ashbel, Gera and Naaman, Ehi and Rosh, Muppim and Huppim and Ard.

这些是拉结给雅各所生的儿孙，共有十四人。
These are the sons of Rachel, who were born to Jacob, fourteen persons in all.

但的儿子是户伸。
And the sons of Dan: Hushim.

拿弗他利的儿子是雅薛、沽尼、耶色、示冷。
And the sons of Naphtali: Jahzeel and Guni and Jezer and Shillem.

这些是拉班给他女儿拉结的婢女辟拉，从雅各所生的儿孙，共有七人。
These are the sons of Bilhah, whom Laban gave to Rachel his daughter, and she bore these to Jacob, seven persons in all.

那与雅各同到埃及的除了他儿媳之外，凡从他所生的共有六十六人。
All the persons who came with Jacob into Egypt, who came out of his loins, besides the wives of Jacob's sons, were sixty-six persons in all.

还有约瑟在埃及所生的儿子，共二人。雅各家来到埃及的，共有七十人。
And the sons of Joseph, who were born to him in Egypt, were two persons. All the persons of the house of Jacob, who came to Egypt, were seventy.

雅各打发犹大先去见约瑟，请派人引路往歌珊去；于是他们来到歌珊地。
And he sent Judah before him to Joseph to show the way before him to Goshen, and they came to the land of Goshen.

约瑟套车上歌珊去，迎接他父亲以色列；等到见了面，就伏在父亲的颈项上哭了许久。
And Joseph made his chariot ready and went up to Goshen to meet Israel his father. And when he appeared before him, he fell on his neck and wept on his neck a good while.

以色列对约瑟说，我既得见你的面，知道你还在，就是死我也甘心。
And Israel said to Joseph, Let me die now since I have seen your face and know that you are still alive.

约瑟对他的弟兄们和他父的全家说，我要上去告诉法老，对他说，我的弟兄们和我父的全家，从前在迦南地，现今都到我这里来了。
And Joseph said to his brothers and to his father's household, I will go up and tell Pharaoh, and will say to him, My brothers and my father's household, who were in the land of Canaan, have come to me.

他们本是牧羊的人，以养牲畜为业；他们把羊群、牛群和一切所有的，都带来了。
And the men are shepherds, for they have been keepers of livestock; and they have brought their flocks and their herds and all that they have.

等法老召你们的时候，问你们说，你们以何事为业？
And when Pharaoh calls you and says, What is your occupation?

你们要说，你的仆人们从幼年直到如今，都以养牲畜为业，我们和我们的祖宗都是如此。这样，你们就可以住在歌珊地，因为凡牧羊的都被埃及人所厌恶。
You shall say, Your servants have been keepers of livestock from our youth even until now, both we and our fathers; that you may dwell in the land of Goshen, for every shepherd is an abomination to the Egyptians.
