所以，我们既有一位经过了诸天，尊大的大祭司，就是神的儿子耶稣，便当坚守所承认的。
Having therefore a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, let us hold fast the confession.

因我们并非有一位不能同情我们软弱的大祭司，祂乃是在各方面受过试诱，与我们一样，只是没有罪。
For we do not have a High Priest who cannot be touched with the feeling of our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all respects like us, yet without sin.

所以我们只管坦然无惧地来到施恩的宝座前，为要受怜悯，得恩典，作应时的帮助。
Let us therefore come forward with boldness to the throne of grace that we may receive mercy and find grace for timely help.

凡从人间选取的大祭司，都是被设立替人办理关于神的事，为要献上礼物和为着罪的祭物。
For every high priest, being taken from among men, is established on behalf of men in the things pertaining to God that he may offer both gifts and sacrifices for sins.

他能体谅那无知和失迷的，因为他自己也为软弱所困；
He is able to exercise compassion toward the ignorant and erring since he also is encompassed with weakness;

因此，他怎样为百姓为着罪献祭，也应当照样为自己献祭。
And because of it, he ought, even as for the people, so also for himself, to offer for sins.

这大祭司的尊贵，不是人自取的，乃是人蒙神呼召所得的，像亚伦一样。
And no one takes the honor upon himself, but only as he is called by God, just as Aaron also was.

这样，基督也不是自取荣耀作大祭司，乃是那向祂说“你是我的儿子，我今日生了你”的，荣耀了祂；
So also Christ did not glorify Himself in becoming a High Priest, but it was He who said to Him, “You are My Son; this day have I begotten You”;

就如神在另一处又说，“你是照着麦基洗德的等次，永远为祭司。”
Even as also in another place He says, “You are a Priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.”

基督在肉身的日子，强烈地哭号，流泪向那能救祂出死的，献上祈祷和恳求，因祂的虔诚，就蒙了垂听；
This One, in the days of His flesh, having offered up both petitions and supplications with strong crying and tears to Him who was able to save Him out of death and having been heard because of His piety,

祂虽然为儿子，还是因所受的苦难学了顺从；
Even though He was a Son, learned obedience from the things which He suffered.

祂既得以成全，就对凡顺从祂的人，成了永远救恩的根源，
And having been perfected, He became to all those who obey Him the source of eternal salvation,

蒙神照着麦基洗德的等次，称为大祭司。
Being addressed by God as a High Priest according to the order of Melchizedek;

申言者耶利米对巴录所说的话，是在犹大王约西亚的儿子约雅敬第四年，由尼利亚的儿子巴录将耶利米口中所说以下这些话写在书上，说，
The word which Jeremiah the prophet spoke to Baruch the son of Neriah, when he had written these words in a book from the mouth of Jeremiah, in the fourth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, the king of Judah, saying,

巴录啊，论到你，耶和华以色列的神如此说，
Thus says Jehovah the God of Israel, concerning you, O Baruch:

你曾说，我有祸了！耶和华将忧愁加在我的痛苦上；我因唉哼而困乏，不得安歇。
You said, Woe is me! For Jehovah has added sorrow to my pain; I am weary with my groaning and have not found rest.

你要这样告诉他，耶和华如此说，我要拆毁我所建造的；我要拔出我所栽植的，在这全地我都要如此行。
Thus you shall say to him, Thus says Jehovah, What I have built I am about to tear down; and what I have planted I am about to pluck up, even this whole land.

你为自己图谋大事么？不要图谋，因我必使灾祸临到凡有血肉的；但你无论往哪里去，我必将你的性命赐给你为掠物；这是耶和华说的。
And are you seeking great things for yourself? Do not seek them; for I am about to bring evil upon all flesh, declares Jehovah, but I will give your own life to you as spoil in all places where you may go.

耶和华论列国的话临到申言者耶利米。
The word of Jehovah that came to Jeremiah the prophet concerning the nations:

论埃及：关于埃及王法老尼哥的军队；这军队在伯拉河边的迦基米施，是巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒在犹大王约西亚的儿子约雅敬第四年所打败的。
Concerning Egypt: Concerning the army of Pharaoh Neco, the king of Egypt, which was by the river Euphrates at Carchemish, which Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon struck down in the fourth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, the king of Judah:

你们要预备大小盾牌，往前上阵。
Prepare the buckler and shield, / And draw near to battle.

你们要套上车，骑上马，顶盔站立，磨枪披甲。
Harness the horses, / And mount the steeds; / And take your stand with helmets on; / Polish the spears; / Put on the armor.

我为何看见他们惊惶，转身退后呢？他们的勇士被击溃了，急忙逃跑，并不回头；四围都是惊吓；这是耶和华说的。
Why have I seen it? / They are dismayed; / They are turning backward; / And their mighty men are crushed and flee in hasty flight, / And they do not look back; terror is on every side, / Declares Jehovah.

不要让快跑的逃走，不要让勇士逃脱；他们在北方伯拉河边绊跌仆倒。
Let not the swift one flee away / And the mighty man escape; / In the north by the river Euphrates / They have stumbled and fallen.

那像尼罗河涨发，像江河之水翻腾的是谁呢？
Who is this who rises up like the Nile, / Like rivers whose waters surge?

埃及像尼罗河涨发，像江河的水翻腾。他说，我要涨发淹没这地；我要毁灭城邑，和其中的居民。
Egypt rises up like the Nile, / Even like rivers whose waters surge. / And he says, I will rise up and will cover the land; / I will destroy the city and the inhabitants in it.

马匹啊，上去吧；战车啊，急行吧；勇士，就是手拿盾牌的古实人和弗人，并拉弓的路德族，都出去吧。
Go up, O horses, / And drive furiously, O chariots; / And let the mighty men go forth: / Cush and Put, who handle the shield, / And the Ludim, who handle and bend the bow.

这日是属主万军之耶和华的，是报仇的日子，要向敌人报仇；刀剑必吞吃得饱，饮血饮足；因为在北方之地伯拉河边，有献给主万军之耶和华的祭。
For this day belongs to the Lord Jehovah of hosts, / A day of vengeance to avenge Himself on His adversaries; / And the sword will devour and be satisfied, / And it will drink its fill of their blood; / For there is a sacrifice to the Lord Jehovah of hosts / In the land of the north by the river Euphrates.

埃及的处女啊，可以上基列取乳香去；你虽多服良药，总是徒然，不得治好。
Go up to Gilead and take balm, / O virgin daughter of Egypt. / In vain you have used many medicines — / There is no healing for you.

列国听见你的羞辱，大地满了你的哀声；勇士与勇士彼此相碰，一齐跌倒。
The nations have heard of your disgrace, / And your cry has filled the earth; / For mighty man has stumbled against mighty man; / Both of them have fallen together.

耶和华对申言者耶利米所说的话，论到巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒要来攻击埃及地：
The word which Jehovah spoke to Jeremiah the prophet about the coming of Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon to strike the land of Egypt:

你们要传扬在埃及，宣告在密夺，报告在挪弗、答比匿，说，要站稳，自作准备；因为刀剑在你四围施行吞灭。
Declare in Egypt, and proclaim in Migdol; / Proclaim also in Memphis and in Tahpanhes. / Say, Take your stand, and prepare yourself; / For the sword has devoured all around you.

你的壮士为何仆倒？他站立不住，因为耶和华将他推倒了。
Why are your mighty men prostrate? / He does not stand, because Jehovah has cast him down.

他使多人绊跌；他们也彼此撞倒，说，起来吧，我们回到本民和出生地去，好躲避欺压者的刀剑。
He made many stumble; / A man even fell against his neighbor; / And they said, Arise and let us return / To our own people and to the land of our birth, / Away from the sword of the oppressor.

他们在那里喊叫说，埃及王法老不过是哄嚷的声音；他已错过所定的时候了。
There they cried, Pharaoh, the king of Egypt, is but a noise; / He has let the appointed time pass by.

名为万军之耶和华的王说，我指着我的生存起誓，尼布甲尼撒必来，他的气势必像他泊在众山之中，像迦密在海边一样。
As I live, says the King, / Whose name is Jehovah of hosts, / Surely as Tabor is among the mountains, / And Carmel is by the sea, so he will come.

埃及的女子啊，居民哪，要预备掳去时所用的物件；因为挪弗必成为荒场，且被烧毁，无人居住。
Prepare for yourself baggage for captivity, / O inhabitant, O daughter of Egypt; / For Memphis will become a waste, / And it will be burned, without inhabitant.

埃及是肥美的母牛犊；但出于北方的牛虻来到她身上了。
Egypt is a beautiful heifer; / A gadfly from the north has come on her.

其中的雇勇，好像圈里的肥牛犊；他们也转身退后，一齐逃跑，站立不住；因为他们遭难的日子，追讨的时候，已经临到。
Also her hired men in her midst / Are like fattened calves. / But they have also turned back; / They have fled together; they did not stand. / For the day of their calamity has come on them, / The time of their punishment.

她的声音好像蛇行的声音一样；敌人要成队前来，如砍伐树木的拿斧子来攻击她。
Her sound is like that of a serpent going away; / For they go forth in force, / And with axes they come against her, / Like those who fell trees.

耶和华说，埃及的树林，虽然穿越不过，敌人却要砍伐；因他们多于蝗虫，不可胜数。
They will cut down her forest, declares Jehovah, / Although it is impenetrable; / For they are more numerous than locusts / And are without number.

埃及的女子蒙受羞辱，交在北方的民手中。
The daughter of Egypt is put to shame; / She is given into the hand of a people from the north.

万军之耶和华以色列的神说，我必惩罚挪的亚扪神、法老、并埃及与埃及的神，以及埃及的诸王，就是法老和倚靠他的人。
Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel, says, I will punish Amon of No and Pharaoh and Egypt and her gods and her kings, even Pharaoh and those who trust in him.

我要将他们交付寻索他们性命之人的手，就是巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒与他臣仆的手；此后埃及必再有人居住，与从前一样；这是耶和华说的。
And I will give them into the hand of those who seek their life, even into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon and into the hand of his servants; and afterward she will be inhabited as in the days of old, declares Jehovah.

至于你，我的仆人雅各啊，不要惧怕；以色列啊，不要惊惶。因为我要从远方拯救你，从你后裔被掳到之地拯救他们；雅各必回来得享平静安宁，无人使他害怕。
But as for you, O Jacob My servant, do not fear; / And do not be dismayed, O Israel. / For indeed I will save you from afar / And your seed from the land of their captivity; / And Jacob will return and be undisturbed / And at ease, and no one will frighten him.

我的仆人雅各啊，不要惧怕；因我与你同在；我要将我所赶你到的那些国灭绝净尽；却不将你灭绝净尽，倒要适度管教你，绝不能不罚你；这是耶和华说的。
As for you, O Jacob My servant, do not fear, declares Jehovah, / For I am with you; / For I will make a full end of all the nations / To which I have driven you; / Yet I will not make a full end of you, / But will correct you in measure / And will by no means leave you unpunished.

法老攻击迦萨之先，有耶和华论非利士人的话临到申言者耶利米。
The word of Jehovah that came to Jeremiah the prophet concerning the Philistines before Pharaoh struck Gaza.

耶和华如此说，看哪，有水从北方涨发，成为泛滥的河，要漫过那地和其中所有的，并城和其中所住的；人必呼喊，那地的居民都必哀号。
Thus says Jehovah, / See, waters are rising up from the north / And will become an overflowing stream; / And they will overflow the land and all that fills it, / The city and those who dwell in it; / And men will cry out, / And every inhabitant of the land will howl.

因敌人壮马蹄跳的响声，和战车隆隆，车轮轰轰，为父的手就发软，不回头看顾儿女，
At the sound of the stamping of the hooves of his stallions, / At the rushing of his chariots, at the rumbling of his wheels, / The fathers will not turn back for their children, / Because of the feebleness of their hands,

因为日子将到，要毁灭一切非利士人，剪除推罗、西顿一切余剩的帮助者；原来耶和华必毁灭非利士人，就是迦斐托海岛余剩的人。
Because of the day which is coming, / To destroy all the Philistines, / To cut off from Tyre and Sidon / Every helper who survives; / For Jehovah will destroy the Philistines, / The remnant of the coastland of Caphtor.

迦萨成了光秃；亚实基伦已被剪除；山谷中余剩的人哪，你用刀划身，要到几时呢？
Baldness has come upon Gaza; / Ashkelon has been cut off. / O remnant of their valley, / How long will you cut yourself?

哀哉，耶和华的刀剑哪，你到几时才止息呢？你要入鞘，静止不动。
Alas, O sword of Jehovah, / How long until you are quiet? Put yourself into your sheath; / Rest and be still.

耶和华既吩咐攻击亚实基伦和海边之地，祂已经派定，焉能止息呢？
How can it be quiet, / When Jehovah has commanded it? / Against Ashkelon and against the seacoast — / There He has appointed it.
