Do not think that I have come to abolish the law or the prophets; I have not come to abolish, but to fulfill.
不要以为我来是要废除律法或申言者；我来不是要废除，乃是要成全。

For truly I say to you, Until heaven and earth pass away, one iota or one serif shall by no means pass away from the law until all come to pass.
我实在告诉你们，即使到天地都过去了，律法的一撇或一画，也绝不能过去，直到一切都得成全。

Therefore whoever annuls one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called the least in the kingdom of the heavens; but whoever practices and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of the heavens.
所以无论谁废掉这些诫命中最小的一条，又这样教训人，他在诸天的国里必称为最小的；但无论谁遵行这些诫命，又这样教训人，这人在诸天的国里必称为大的。

For I say to you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the scribes and Pharisees, you shall by no means enter into the kingdom of the heavens.
我告诉你们，你们的义，若不超过经学家和法利赛人的义，绝不能进诸天的国。

You have heard that it was said to the ancients, “You shall not murder, and whoever murders shall be liable to the judgment.”
你们听见有对古人说的话：“不可杀人；凡杀人的，难逃审判。”

But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother shall be liable to the judgment. And whoever says to his brother, Raca, shall be liable to the judgment of the Sanhedrin; and whoever says, Moreh, shall be liable to the Gehenna of fire.
但是我告诉你们，凡向弟兄动怒的，难逃审判。凡骂弟兄拉加的，难逃议会的审判；凡骂弟兄魔利的，难逃火坑的火。

Therefore if you are offering your gift at the altar and there you remember that your brother has something against you,
所以你在祭坛前献礼物，若想起你的弟兄向你怀怨，

Leave your gift there before the altar, and first go and be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift.
就要把礼物留在坛前，先去与你的弟兄和好，然后来献礼物。

Be well disposed quickly toward your opponent at law, while you are with him on the way, lest the opponent deliver you to the judge, and the judge to the officer, and you be thrown into prison.
你同告你的对头还在路上，要赶紧与他和息，免得他把你交给审判官，审判官交给差役，你就下在监里了。

Truly I say to you, You shall by no means come out from there until you pay the last quadrans.
我实在告诉你，非到你还清最后一分钱，你绝不能从那里出来。

You have heard that it was said, “You shall not commit adultery.”
你们听见有话说，“不可奸淫。”

But I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman in order to lust after her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.
但是我告诉你们，凡看妇女，有意贪恋她的，心里已经与她犯奸淫了。

So if your right eye stumbles you, pluck it out and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish than for your whole body to be cast into Gehenna.
若是你的右眼叫你绊跌，就剜出来丢掉；因为你肢体中的一个丧失了，强于你全身扔在火坑里。

And if your right hand stumbles you, cut it off and cast it from you, for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish than for your whole body to pass away into Gehenna.
若是你的右手叫你绊跌，就砍下来丢掉；因为你肢体中的一个丧失了，强于你全身往火坑里去。

And it was said, Whoever divorces his wife, let him give her a certificate of divorce.
又有话说，人若休妻，就当给她休书。

But I say to you that everyone who divorces his wife, except for the cause of fornication, causes her to commit adultery, and whoever marries her who has been divorced commits adultery.
但是我告诉你们，凡休妻的，若不是为淫乱的缘故，就是叫她犯奸淫了；无论谁娶这被休的妇人，也是犯奸淫了。

Again, you have heard that it was said to the ancients, “You shall not break an oath, but you shall render to the Lord your oaths.”
你们又听见有对古人说的话：“不可背誓，所起的誓，总要向主谨守。”

But I tell you not to swear at all; neither by heaven, because it is the throne of God;
但是我告诉你们，什么誓都不可起，不可指着天起誓，因为天是神的座位；

Nor by the earth, because it is the footstool of His feet; nor unto Jerusalem, because it is the city of the great King;
不可指着地起誓，因为地是祂的脚凳；不可指着耶路撒冷起誓，因为耶路撒冷是大君王的城；

Neither shall you swear by your head, because you cannot make one hair white or black.
也不可指着你的头起誓，因为你不能使一根头发变白或变黑。

But let your word be, Yes, yes; No, no; for anything more than these is of the evil one.
你们的话，是，就说是，不是，就说不是；若再多说，就是出于那恶者。

You have heard that it was said, “An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth.”
你们听见有话说，“以眼还眼，以牙还牙。”

But I tell you not to resist him who is evil; rather whoever slaps you on your right cheek, turn to him the other also.
但是我告诉你们，不要抗拒恶人；反而无论谁打你的右脸，连另一面也转给他。

And to him who wishes to sue you and take your tunic, yield to him your cloak also;
那想要告你，要拿你里衣的，连外衣也让给他；

And whoever compels you to go one mile, go with him two.
无论谁强逼你走一里路，你就同他走二里。

To him who asks of you, give; and from him who wants to borrow from you, do not turn away.
求你的，就给他；向你借贷的，不可转开不顾他。

You have heard that it was said, “You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.”
你们听见有话说，“当爱你的邻舍，恨你的仇敌。”

But I say to you, Love your enemies, and pray for those who persecute you,
但是我告诉你们，要爱你们的仇敌，为那逼迫你们的祷告，

So that you may become sons of your Father who is in the heavens, because He causes His sun to rise on the evil and the good and sends rain on the just and the unjust.
你们就可以作你们诸天之上父的儿子；因为祂叫祂的日头上升，照恶人，也照好人；降雨给义人，也给不义的人。

For if you love those who love you, what reward do you have? Do not even the tax collectors do the same?
你们若爱那爱你们的人，有什么赏赐？税吏不也是这样行么？

And if you greet only your brothers, what better thing are you doing? Do not even the Gentiles do the same?
你们若单向你们的弟兄问安，有什么过人的长处？外邦人不也是这样行么？

You therefore shall be perfect as your heavenly Father is perfect.
所以你们要完全，像你们的天父完全一样。

And in the days of Amraphel the king of Shinar, Arioch the king of Ellasar, Chedorlaomer the king of Elam, and Tidal the king of Goiim,
当暗拉非作示拿王，亚略作以拉撒王，基大老玛作以拦王，提达作戈印王的时候，

These kings made war with Bera the king of Sodom and with Birsha the king of Gomorrah, Shinab the king of Admah, and Shemeber the king of Zeboiim, and the king of Bela (that is, Zoar).
他们都攻打所多玛王比锐、蛾摩拉王比沙、押玛王示纳、洗扁王善以别和比拉王；比拉就是琐珥。

All these joined together in the valley of Siddim (that is, the Salt Sea).
这五王都在西订谷会合；西订谷就是盐海。

Twelve years they had served Chedorlaomer, and in the thirteenth year they rebelled.
他们已经服事基大老玛十二年，到第十三年就背叛了。

And in the fourteenth year Chedorlaomer and the kings who were with him came and struck the Rephaim in Ashteroth-karnaim and the Zuzim in Ham and the Emim in Shaveh-kiriathaim
第十四年，基大老玛和同盟的王都来在亚特律加宁，击败了利乏音人；在哈麦击败了苏西人，在沙微基列亭击败了以米人，

And the Horites in Mount Seir as far as El-paran, which is by the wilderness.
在西珥山击败了何利人，一直追击到靠近旷野的伊勒巴兰。

And they turned back and came to En-mishpat (that is, Kadesh), and struck all the country of the Amalekites and also the Amorites who dwelt in Hazazon-tamar.
他们回到安密巴，就是加低斯，击败了亚玛力全地的人，以及住在哈洗逊他玛的亚摩利人。

And the king of Sodom and the king of Gomorrah and the king of Admah and the king of Zeboiim and the king of Bela (that is, Zoar) went forth and set the battle in array against them in the valley of Siddim,
于是所多玛王、蛾摩拉王、押玛王、洗扁王和比拉王（比拉就是琐珥）都出来，在西订谷摆阵，与他们交战，

Against Chedorlaomer the king of Elam and Tidal the king of Goiim and Amraphel the king of Shinar and Arioch the king of Ellasar, four kings against the five.
就是与以拦王基大老玛、戈印王提达、示拿王暗拉非、以拉撒王亚略交战；乃是四王与五王交战。

Now the valley of Siddim was full of tar pits, and the kings of Sodom and Gomorrah fled and fell there; but those who survived fled to the hill country.
西订谷有许多石漆坑；所多玛王和蛾摩拉王逃跑，掉在坑里，其余的人都往山地逃跑。

And they took all the possessions of Sodom and Gomorrah and all their food and went away.
四王就把所多玛和蛾摩拉所有的财物，并一切的粮食，都掳掠去了；

And they took Lot, Abram's brother's son, and his possessions and departed, for he was dwelling in Sodom.
又把亚伯兰的侄儿罗得和罗得的财物掳掠去了，当时罗得正住在所多玛。

And one who had escaped came and told Abram the Hebrew. Now he was dwelling by the oaks of Mamre the Amorite, the brother of Eshcol and the brother of Aner; and these were allies of Abram.
有一个逃出来的人，来告诉希伯来人亚伯兰；亚伯兰正住在亚摩利人幔利的橡树那里。幔利和以实各并亚乃都是弟兄，曾与亚伯兰联盟。

And when Abram heard that his brother had been taken captive, he led out his trained men, born in his house, three hundred eighteen of them, and pursued as far as Dan.
亚伯兰听见他侄儿被掳去，就率领他家里生养的精练壮丁三百一十八人，直追到但，

And he divided his forces against them by night, he and his servants, and struck them and pursued them to Hobah, which is north of Damascus.
便在夜间，自己同仆人分队击败敌人，又追到大马色北边的何把，

And he brought back all the possessions and also brought back Lot his brother and his possessions as well as the women and the people.
将一切财物夺回来，连他侄儿罗得和他的财物，以及妇女、人民也都夺回来。

And after his return from the slaughter of Chedorlaomer and the kings who were with him, the king of Sodom went out to meet him at the valley of Shaveh (that is, the King's Valley).
亚伯兰击败基大老玛和与他同盟的王回来的时候，所多玛王出来，在沙微谷迎接他；沙微谷就是王谷。

And Melchizedek the king of Salem brought out bread and wine. Now he was priest of God the Most High.
又有撒冷王麦基洗德带着饼和酒出来迎接；他是至高神的祭司。

And he blessed him and said, Blessed be Abram of God the Most High, / Possessor of heaven and earth;
他为亚伯兰祝福，说，愿天地的主、至高的神赐福与亚伯兰；

And blessed be God the Most High, / Who has delivered your enemies into your hand. And Abram gave him a tenth of all.
至高的神把敌人交在你手里，是当受颂赞的。亚伯兰就将所得的一切，拿了十分之一给他。

And the king of Sodom said to Abram, Give me the people, and take the possessions for yourself.
所多玛王对亚伯兰说，你把人口给我，财物你自己拿去吧。

But Abram said to the king of Sodom, I have lifted up my hand to Jehovah, God the Most High, Possessor of heaven and earth,
但亚伯兰对所多玛王说，我已经向天地的主，至高的神耶和华举手起誓；

That I will not take a thread or a sandal thong or anything that is yours, lest you say, I have made Abram rich;
凡是你的东西，就是一根线、一根鞋带，我都不拿，免得你说，我使亚伯兰富足。

Except only that which the young men have eaten and the portion of the men who went with me — Aner, Eshcol, and Mamre; let them take their portion.
只有仆人们所吃的，并与我同行的亚乃、以实各、幔利所应得的分，可以任凭他们拿去。

After these things the word of Jehovah came to Abram in a vision, saying, Do not be afraid, Abram; I am your shield and your exceedingly great reward.
这些事以后，耶和华的话在异象中临到亚伯兰，说，亚伯兰，你不要惧怕；我是你的盾牌，是你极大的赏赐。

And Abram said, O Lord Jehovah, what will You give me, for I go childless, and the heir of my house is Eliezer of Damascus?
亚伯兰说，主耶和华啊，我快要去世了还没有儿子，你还赐我什么呢？那要承受我家业的，是大马色人以利以谢。

And Abram said, Since You have given me no seed, therefore, a servant in my house is my heir.
亚伯兰又说，你没有给我后裔；那在我家中的仆人，就是我的后嗣。

But then the word of Jehovah came to him, saying, This man shall not be your heir, but he who will come out from your own body shall be your heir.
但耶和华的话临到他说，这人必不成为你的后嗣；你本身将要生的，才是你的后嗣。

And He brought him outside and said, Look now toward the heavens, and count the stars, if you are able to count them. And He said to him, So shall your seed be.
于是领他走到外边，说，你向天观看，数算众星，能数得过来么？又对他说，你的后裔将要如此。

And he believed Jehovah, and He accounted it to him as righteousness.
亚伯兰信耶和华，耶和华就以此算为他的义。

Then He said to him, I am Jehovah who brought you out of Ur of the Chaldeans to give you this land to inherit it.
耶和华又对他说，我是耶和华，曾领你出了迦勒底的吾珥，为要将这地赐你为业。

And he said, O Lord Jehovah, how will I know that I will inherit it?
亚伯兰说，主耶和华啊，我怎能知道必得这地为业呢？

And He said to him, Bring Me a three-year-old heifer and a three-year-old female goat and a three-year-old ram and a turtledove and a young pigeon.
祂说，你为我取一只三岁的母牛、一只三岁的母山羊、一只三岁的公绵羊、一只斑鸠、一只雏鸽。

And he brought Him all these and cut them in two in the middle and laid the half of each opposite the other, but the birds he did not cut in two.
亚伯兰就取了这些来，每样从中剖开，分成两半，一半对着一半的摆列，只有鸟没有剖开。

And the birds of prey came down upon the carcasses, and Abram drove them away.
有鸷鸟下来，落在死畜的肉上，亚伯兰就把它们吓飞了。

And when the sun was going down, a deep sleep fell upon Abram; and, behold, a terror and great darkness fell upon him.
日头正落的时候，亚伯兰沉沉地睡了；忽然有惊人的大黑暗落在他身上。

And He said to Abram, Know assuredly that your seed will be sojourners in a land that is not theirs, and they will serve them; and they will afflict them four hundred years.
耶和华对亚伯兰说，你要确实知道，你的后裔必寄居别人的地，又服事那地的人；那地的人要苦待他们四百年。

But I will also judge that nation, whom they will serve, and afterward they will come out with great possessions.
但他们所要服事的那国，我要惩罚，后来他们必带着许多财物从那里出来。

But as for you, you will go to your fathers in peace; you will be buried in a good old age.
至于你，你要享大寿数，被人埋葬，平平安安地归到你列祖那里。

And in the fourth generation they will come here again, for the iniquity of the Amorites is not yet complete.
到了第四代，他们必回到此地，因为亚摩利人的罪孽还没有满盈。

And when the sun went down and it was dark, there came a smoking furnace and a torch of fire which passed between these pieces.
日落天黑，不料有冒烟的炉并烧着的火把，从那些肉块中经过。

On that day Jehovah made a covenant with Abram, saying, To your seed do I give this land, / From the river of Egypt to the great river, the river Euphrates:
当那日，耶和华与亚伯兰立约，说，我已赐给你的后裔，从埃及河直到伯拉大河之地，

The land of the Kenites and the Kenizzites and the Kadmonites
就是基尼人、基尼洗人、甲摩尼人、

And the Hittites and the Perizzites and the Rephaim
赫人、比利洗人、利乏音人、

And the Amorites and the Canaanites and the Girgashites and the Jebusites.
亚摩利人、迦南人、革迦撒人、耶布斯人之地。

Now Sarai, Abram's wife, bore him no children; and she had an Egyptian female servant, whose name was Hagar.
亚伯兰的妻子撒莱没有给他生儿女。撒莱有一个使女，名叫夏甲，是埃及人。

And Sarai said to Abram, Because Jehovah has prevented me from bearing, please go in to my female servant; perhaps I will have children through her. And Abram listened to the voice of Sarai.
撒莱对亚伯兰说，耶和华使我不能生育，求你和我的使女同房，或者我可以因她得孩子。亚伯兰听了撒莱的话。

So after Abram had dwelt ten years in the land of Canaan, Sarai, Abram's wife, took Hagar the Egyptian, her female servant, and gave her to Abram her husband to be a wife.
于是亚伯兰的妻子撒莱，将使女埃及人夏甲给了她丈夫为妻；那时亚伯兰在迦南地已经住了十年。

And he went in to Hagar, and she conceived; and when she saw that she had conceived, her mistress was despised in her eyes.
亚伯兰与夏甲同房，夏甲就怀了孕；她见自己有孕，就轻看她的主母。

And Sarai said to Abram, May the wrong done to me be upon you. I gave my female servant into your bosom, and when she saw that she had conceived, I was despised in her eyes. May Jehovah judge between me and you.
撒莱对亚伯兰说，愿我受的屈辱归到你身上。我将我的使女放在你怀中，她见自己有了孕，竟轻看我。愿耶和华在你我中间行判断。

And Abram said to Sarai, Your female servant is now in your hand; do to her what is good in your eyes. So Sarai dealt harshly with her, and she fled from before her.
亚伯兰对撒莱说，你的使女在你手下，你看怎样好，就怎样待她吧。于是撒莱苦待她，她就从撒莱面前逃走了。

And the Angel of Jehovah found her by a spring of water in the wilderness, by the spring on the way to Shur.
耶和华的使者在旷野往书珥路上的水泉旁遇见她，

And He said, Hagar, Sarai's female servant, where did you come from and where are you going? And she said, I am fleeing from before my mistress Sarai.
对她说，撒莱的使女夏甲，你从哪里来？要往哪里去？夏甲说，我从我的主母撒莱面前逃出来。

And the Angel of Jehovah said to her, Return to your mistress, and submit yourself under her hands.
耶和华的使者对她说，你回到你主母那里，服在她手下；

And the Angel of Jehovah said to her, I will greatly multiply your seed, so that it will not be counted for multitude.
又说，我必使你的后裔极其繁多，甚至不可胜数；

And the Angel of Jehovah said to her, You have now conceived / And will bear a son, / And you shall call his name Ishmael, / Because Jehovah has heard of your affliction.
并说，你如今怀孕要生一个儿子，可以给他起名叫以实玛利，因为耶和华听见了你的苦情。

And he will be a wild ass of a man; / His hand will be against everyone, / And everyone's hand, against him; / And he will settle down opposite all his brothers.
他为人必像野驴；他的手要攻打人，人的手也要攻打他；他必住在众弟兄的东边。

And she called the name of Jehovah who spoke to her, You are a God who reveals Himself, for she said, Do I even remain here after He has revealed Himself to me?
夏甲就称那对她说话之耶和华的名为：你是启示自己的神；因为她说，祂向我启示了祂自己，我在这里居然还存活么？

Therefore the well was called Beer-lahai-roi; there it is, between Kadesh and Bered.
所以这井名叫庇耳拉海莱；这井在加低斯和巴列之间。

And Hagar bore Abram a son, and Abram called the name of his son, whom Hagar bore, Ishmael.
后来夏甲给亚伯兰生了一个儿子；亚伯兰给他起名叫以实玛利。

And Abram was eighty-six years old when Hagar bore Ishmael to Abram.
夏甲给亚伯兰生以实玛利的时候，亚伯兰年八十六岁。
