And soon afterward He journeyed from city to city and village to village, preaching and announcing the gospel of the kingdom of God; and the twelve were with Him,
不久以后，耶稣周游各城各乡传道，传神的国为福音；同祂在一起的有十二个门徒，

As well as certain women who were healed of evil spirits and infirmities: Mary, who was called Magdalene, from whom seven demons had gone out,
还有几个得医治，脱离恶灵和疾病的妇女，其中有称为抹大拉人的马利亚，曾有七个鬼从她身上赶出来；

And Joanna, the wife of Chuza, Herod's steward, and Susanna, and many other women, who ministered to them out of their possessions.
又有希律的管事苦撒的妻子约亚拿，并苏撒拿，和好些别的妇女，都是用自己的财物供给耶稣和门徒。

And while a great crowd was coming together and those from city to city were journeying to Him, He spoke by way of a parable:
当大批的群众聚在一起，又有人从各城络绎地出去，到耶稣那里的时候，祂就用比喻说，

The sower went out to sow his seed. And as he sowed, some seed fell beside the way, and it was trampled underfoot, and the birds of heaven devoured it.
那撒种的出去撒他的种子。撒的时候，有的落在路旁，被人践踏，天空的飞鸟又来吃尽了。

And other seed fell on the rock, and as it grew, it withered because it had no moisture.
又有别的落在磐石上，生长起来，因为得不着滋润，就枯干了。

And other seed fell in the midst of the thorns, and the thorns grew with it and choked it off.
还有别的落在荆棘里，荆棘一同生长，就把它挤住了。

And other seed fell into the good earth, and when it grew, it produced fruit a hundredfold. When He had said these things, He called out, He who has ears to hear, let him hear.
但有别的落在好土里，生长起来，结实百倍。耶稣说了这些话，就大声说，有耳可听的，就应当听。

And His disciples questioned Him as to what this parable might be.
门徒问祂这比喻是什么意思。

And He said, To you it has been given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God, but to the rest they are in parables, in order that seeing they may not see, and hearing they may not understand.
祂说，神国的奥秘，只给你们知道。但对其余的人就用比喻，叫他们看却看不见，听也不领悟。

Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.
这比喻乃是这样：种子就是神的道。

And those beside the way are those who heard; then the devil comes and takes away the word from their heart, so that they would not believe and be saved.
那些在路旁的，就是人听了道，随后魔鬼来，从他们心里把道夺去，恐怕他们信了得救。

And those on the rock are those who, when they hear, receive the word with joy; yet these have no root, who believe only for a while, and in time of trial they draw back.
那些在磐石上的，就是人听了道，欢喜领受，但没有根，不过是暂时信了，在试炼的时候，就退后了。

And that which fell into the thorns, these are those who heard and, going away, are utterly choked by anxieties and riches and pleasures of this life, and do not bring any fruit to maturity.
那落在荆棘里的，就是人听了道，走开以后，被今生的思虑、钱财和宴乐全然挤住了，便结不出成熟的子粒来。

But that which is in the good earth, these are those who in a noble and good heart hear the word and hold it fast and bear fruit with endurance.
但那落在好土里的，就是人用美好善良的心听了道，便持守住，并且忍耐着结实。

Now no one who has lit a lamp covers it with a vessel or puts it underneath a bed, but he puts it on a lampstand in order that those who come in may see the light.
没有人点灯用器皿盖上，或放在床底下，乃是放在灯台上，叫进来的人看见亮光。

For nothing is hidden which shall not become manifest, nor concealed which shall not by all means be made known and come into the open.
因为隐藏的事没有不成为显明的，隐瞒的事也绝没有不被人知道而暴露出来的。

Take heed therefore how you hear, for whoever has, it shall be given to him, and whoever does not have, even what he thinks he has shall be taken away from him.
所以你们要留心怎样听；因为凡有的，还要加给他；凡没有的，连他自以为有的，也要从他夺去。

And His mother and brothers came up to Him and were not able to get to Him because of the crowd.
耶稣的母亲和兄弟来了，因为人多，不能与祂相会。

And it was reported to Him, Your mother and Your brothers are standing outside wanting to see You.
有人报告祂说，你的母亲和兄弟站在外面，想要见你。

But He answered and said to them, My mother and My brothers are these who hear the word of God and do it.
祂却回答他们说，这些听了神的话而实行的人，就是我的母亲，我的弟兄了。

And on one of the days He and His disciples got into a boat. And He said to them, Let us go over to the other side of the lake. And they launched out.
有一天，耶稣和门徒上了船，祂对他们说，我们渡到湖的对岸去吧。他们就开了船。

And while they were sailing, He fell asleep. And a windstorm came down upon the lake, and they began to fill with water and were in danger.
正航行的时候，耶稣睡着了。湖上起了风暴，船就要满了水，甚是危险。

And they came to Him and woke Him, saying, Master, Master, we are perishing! And being awakened, He rebuked the wind and the surging of the water, and they ceased, and there was a calm.
门徒进前来，叫醒了祂，说，夫子，夫子，我们丧命啦！耶稣醒来，斥责风和水上的大浪，风浪就止住，平静了。

And He said to them, Where is your faith? And they became frightened and marveled, saying to one another, Who then is this, that He orders even the winds and the water, and they obey Him?
耶稣对他们说，你们的信心在哪里？他们既惧怕，又希奇，彼此说，这人到底是谁？祂竟吩咐风和水，连风和水也听从了祂。

But the children of Israel acted unfaithfully in that which was devoted to destruction, for Achan the son of Carmi, the son of Zabdi, the son of Zerah, of the tribe of Judah, took of that which was devoted to destruction; and the anger of Jehovah was kindled against the children of Israel.
以色列人在当灭的物上犯了不忠实的罪，因为犹大支派中，谢拉的曾孙，撒底的孙子，迦米的儿子亚干取了当灭的物；耶和华的怒气就向以色列人发作。

Joshua sent men from Jericho to Ai, which is beside Beth-aven, east of Bethel; and he spoke to them, saying, Go up and spy out the land. So the men went up and spied out Ai.
约书亚从耶利哥打发人往伯特利东边，靠近伯亚文的艾城去；他对他们说，你们上去窥探那地。那些人就上去窥探艾城。

And they returned to Joshua and said to him, Not all the people need go up; let about two or three thousand men go up and strike Ai. Do not make all the people labor there, for the enemies are few.
他们回到约书亚那里，对他说，众民不必都上去，大约二三千人上去就能攻下艾城；不必劳累众民都去，因为那里的人少。

So about three thousand men from the people went up there, but they fled before the men of Ai.
于是民中约有三千人上那里去，竟在艾城的人面前逃跑了。

And the men of Ai struck some of them, about thirty-six men; and they pursued them from before the gate unto Shebarim and struck them on the slope. And the heart of the people melted and became like water.
艾城的人击杀了他们约三十六人，从城门前追赶他们，直到示巴琳，在下坡击败他们；众民的心就融化如水。

And Joshua rent his clothes and fell to the ground upon his face before the Ark of Jehovah until the evening, he and the elders of Israel; and they put dust upon their heads.
约书亚便撕裂衣服，他和以色列的长老在耶和华的约柜前，面伏于地，直到晚上；他们也把尘土撒在头上。

And Joshua said, Ah, Lord Jehovah! Why have You brought this people over the Jordan at all? To give us over into the hand of the Amorites and cause us to perish? If only we had been content to dwell across the Jordan!
约书亚说，哀哉！主耶和华啊，你为什么竟领这百姓过约但河，将我们交在亚摩利人的手中，使我们灭亡呢？我们不如住在约但河那边倒好。

O Lord, what can I say after Israel has turned its back before its enemies?
主啊，以色列人既在仇敌面前转背逃跑，我还有什么可说的呢？

For the Canaanites and all the inhabitants of the land will hear of it, and they will surround us and cut off our name from the earth. Then what will You do for Your great name?
迦南人和这地一切的居民听见了，就必围困我们，将我们的名从地上剪除。那时你为你的大名要怎样行呢？

Then Jehovah said to Joshua, Rise up! Why have you fallen upon your face?
耶和华对约书亚说，起来，你为何这样面伏于地？

Israel has sinned. Indeed they have trespassed My covenant, which I commanded them; indeed they have taken of that which was devoted to destruction; indeed they have stolen; indeed they have been deceptive; indeed they have put it among their goods.
以色列人犯了罪，违背了我所吩咐他们的约，取了当灭的物；又偷窃，又行诡诈，又把那当灭的物放在他们的物件中。

Thus the children of Israel are not able to stand before their enemies; they turn their backs before their enemies, for they have become something devoted to destruction. I will not be with you anymore unless you destroy that which was devoted to destruction from among you.
因此，以色列人在仇敌面前站立不住；他们在仇敌面前转背逃跑，是因成了当灭的；你们若不把当灭的物从你们中间毁掉，我就不再与你们同在了。

Rise up, sanctify the people, and say, Sanctify yourselves for tomorrow; for thus says Jehovah the God of Israel, There is something devoted to destruction among you, O Israel; you will not be able to stand before your enemies until you remove that which was devoted to destruction from among you.
你起来，叫百姓分别为圣，说，你们要使自己分别为圣，预备明天，因为耶和华以色列的神这样说，以色列啊，你们中间有当灭的物，非等到你们把那当灭的物从你们中间除掉，你们在仇敌面前必站立不住。

Therefore in the morning you shall be brought near by your tribes; and the tribe which Jehovah takes shall draw near family by family; and the family which Jehovah takes shall draw near house by house; and the house which Jehovah takes shall draw near warrior by warrior.
到了早晨，你们要按着支派近前来；耶和华所取的支派，要按着家族近前来；耶和华所取的家族，要按着家室近前来；耶和华所取的家室，要按着男丁，一个一个地近前来。

And he who is taken with that which was devoted to destruction shall be burned with fire, he and all that belongs to him, because he has trespassed the covenant of Jehovah and because he has committed folly in Israel.
被取的人有当灭的物在他那里，他和他所有的必被火焚烧；因他违背了耶和华的约，又因他在以色列中行了愚妄的事。

So Joshua rose early in the morning and brought Israel near by their tribes, and the tribe of Judah was taken.
于是约书亚清早起来，使以色列人按着支派近前来，取出来的是犹大支派；

And he brought the family of Judah near, and the family of the Zerahites was taken. And he brought the family of the Zerahites near warrior by warrior, and Zabdi was taken.
他使犹大支派近前来，就取了谢拉家族；使谢拉家族，按着男丁，一个一个地近前来，取出来的是撒底；

And he brought the house of Zabdi near warrior by warrior, and Achan the son of Carmi, the son of Zabdi, the son of Zerah, of the tribe of Judah, was taken.
使撒底的家室，按着男丁，一个一个地近前来，就取出犹大支派的人谢拉的曾孙，撒底的孙子，迦米的儿子亚干。

And Joshua said to Achan, My son, give glory to Jehovah the God of Israel, and make confession to Him. And tell me what you have done; do not hide anything from me.
约书亚对亚干说，我儿，我劝你将荣耀归给耶和华以色列的神，向祂认罪，将你所作的事告诉我，不要向我隐瞒。

Then Achan answered Joshua and said, It is true; I have sinned against Jehovah the God of Israel; and this is what I did:
亚干回答约书亚说，我实在得罪了耶和华以色列的神。我所作的事是这样：

When I saw among the spoil a beautiful mantle of Shinar and two hundred shekels of silver and a wedge of gold weighing fifty shekels, I coveted them and took them. And now they are hidden in the earth in my tent, with the silver under it.
我在所夺的财物中，看见一件美好的示拿衣服、二百舍客勒银子、一条金子重五十舍客勒，我贪图这些物件，便拿去了。这些物件现今藏在我帐棚内的地里，银子在衣服底下。

And Joshua sent messengers, and they ran to the tent. And there it was, hidden in his tent, with the silver under it.
约书亚就打发使者跑到亚干的帐棚里。那件衣服果然藏在他帐棚内，银子在底下。

And they took the things from within the tent and brought them to Joshua and to all the children of Israel, and spread them out before Jehovah.
他们就把那些物件从帐棚里取出来，拿到约书亚和以色列众人那里，摆在耶和华面前。

Then Joshua and all Israel with him took Achan the son of Zerah and the silver and the mantle and the wedge of gold, and his sons and his daughters and his oxen and his donkeys and his sheep and his tent and all that he had; and they brought them up to the Valley of Achor.
约书亚和以色列众人把谢拉的曾孙亚干和那银子、那件衣服、那条金子，并亚干的儿子、女儿、牛、驴、羊、帐棚以及他所有的，都带上亚割谷去。

And Joshua said, Why have you troubled us? Jehovah will trouble you this day. And all Israel stoned him with stones; and they burned them with fire when they had stoned them with stones.
约书亚说，你为什么叫我们遭祸呢？今日耶和华必叫你遭祸。于是以色列众人用石头打死他和他所有的，并将这一切用火焚烧。

Then they erected over him a great heap of stones, which is there to this day; and Jehovah turned from the fierceness of His anger. Therefore the name of that place is called the Valley of Achor to this day.
众人在亚干身上堆成一大堆石头，直存到今日。于是耶和华转意，不发祂的烈怒。因此那地方名叫亚割谷，直到今日。

Then Jehovah said to Joshua, Do not be afraid or dismayed. Take all the people of war with you, and rise and go up to Ai. See, I have given the king of Ai and his people and his city and his land into your hand.
耶和华对约书亚说，不要惧怕，也不要惊惶。你率领一切兵丁，起来上艾城去；看哪，我已经把艾城的王和他的民、他的城并他的地，都交在你手里。

And you shall do to Ai and to its king as you did to Jericho and to its king; except its spoil and its cattle you shall take for your plunder. Set an ambush for the city behind it.
你怎样待耶利哥和耶利哥的王，也当照样待艾城和艾城的王；只是城内所夺的财物和牲畜，你们可以取为自己的掠物。你要在城后设下攻城的伏兵。

So Joshua rose up with all the people of war to go up to Ai. And Joshua chose thirty thousand men, mighty men of valor, and sent them out by night.
于是，约书亚和一切兵丁都起来，要上艾城去。约书亚选了三万人，都是大能的勇士，夜间打发他们前往，

And he commanded them, saying, See, you shall lie in ambush for the city behind the city. Do not go very far from the city, and all of you be ready.
吩咐他们说，你们要注意，要在城后埋伏，等候攻城；不可离城太远，都要各自准备。

And I and all the people who are with me will draw near to the city. Then when they come forth to meet us, as it was the first time, we will flee before them.
我与我所带领的众民要向城进迫。城里的人像初次出来攻击我们的时候，我们就在他们面前逃跑。

And they will come out after us until we have drawn them out from the city, for they will say, They are fleeing before us as they did the first time. Thus we will flee before them.
他们必出来追赶我们，直到我们引诱他们离开城，因为他们必说，这些人像初次一样在我们面前逃跑；所以我们要在他们面前逃跑。

Then you shall rise up from the ambush and take possession of the city, for Jehovah your God will give it into your hand.
你们就从埋伏的地方起来，夺取那城，因为耶和华你们的神必把城交在你们手里。

And when you capture the city, you shall set the city on fire. You shall do according to the word of Jehovah. See, I have commanded you.
你们夺了城以后，就放火烧城。你们要照耶和华的话而行。看哪，我已经吩咐你们了。

Then Joshua sent them forth; and they went to the place of ambush, and they stayed between Bethel and Ai, to the west of Ai. And Joshua spent that night among the people.
约书亚打发他们前往，他们就到埋伏的地方去，留在伯特利和艾城之间，就是艾城的西边。当夜约书亚在百姓中间住宿。

And Joshua rose early in the morning and mustered the people; and he and the elders of Israel went up before the people to Ai.
约书亚清早起来，点齐百姓，他和以色列的长老就在百姓前面上艾城去。

And all the people of war who were with him went up and drew near and came before the city. And they camped to the north of Ai, so that the valley was between them and Ai.
他所带领的一切兵丁都上去，向前进迫，来到城前。他们在艾城北边安营，在他们和艾城之间有一山谷。

Now he had taken about five thousand men and set them in ambush between Bethel and Ai, to the west of the city.
他挑了约五千人，使他们埋伏在伯特利和艾城之间，就是艾城的西边。

So they set the people, the whole camp, which was north of the city, and the rearguard to the west of the city. And Joshua went into the valley that night.
于是百姓，就是城北的全军和城西的伏兵，都布置好了。这夜约书亚进入山谷之中。

Now when the king of Ai saw this, the men of the city hurried and rose up early and went to meet Israel in battle, he and all his people, at the assigned place, facing the Arabah; for he did not know that there was an ambush set for him behind the city.
艾城的王看见这景况，就和全城的人，清早急忙起来，出到所定的地方，面对着亚拉巴，要与以色列人交战；王却不知道在城后对他设下了伏兵。

And Joshua and all Israel pretended to be beaten before them, and they fled by the way of the wilderness.
约书亚和以色列众人在他们面前装败，沿着通往旷野的路逃跑。

Then all the people who were in the city were called together to pursue after them; and they pursued after Joshua and thus were drawn out of the city.
城内的众民都被召集，追赶他们；艾城人追赶约书亚的时候，就被引诱离开城。

And not a man was left in Ai or in Bethel who did not go forth after Israel, but they abandoned the city, leaving it open, and pursued after Israel.
艾城和伯特利城没有留下一人不出来追赶以色列人的；他们撇了敞开的城，去追赶以色列人。

Then Jehovah said to Joshua, Stretch out the javelin that is in your hand toward Ai, for I will give it into your hand. And Joshua stretched out the javelin that was in his hand toward the city.
耶和华对约书亚说，你向艾城伸出手里的短枪，因为我要将城交在你手里。约书亚就向城伸出手里的短枪。

And the ambush rose up quickly from their place and ran as soon as he had stretched out his hand, and they entered the city and captured it; and they hurried and set the city on fire.
他一伸手，伏兵就从埋伏的地方速速起来，跑进城去，夺了城，急忙放火烧城。

And when the men of Ai turned to see behind them, they looked, and there it was — the smoke of the city going up to heaven; and they had no way to flee this way or that way when the people who had fled into the wilderness turned back upon the pursuers.
艾城的人回头一看，不料，城中烟气冲天；他们往这面或那面都无处可逃，因为那往旷野逃跑的百姓转身攻击追赶的人。

When Joshua and all Israel saw that the ambush had taken the city and that the smoke of the city was rising, they turned and slew the men of Ai.
约书亚和以色列众人见伏兵已经夺了城，城中烟气飞腾，就转身击杀艾城的人。

And the others came out from the city to meet them, so that they were in the midst of Israel, some on this side and some on that side. And they struck them, so that no one was left to survive or escape.
伏兵也出城迎击艾城人，艾城人就困在以色列人中间，前后都是以色列人。于是以色列人击杀他们，没有留下一个，也没有让一个逃脱。

But they took the king of Ai alive and brought him to Joshua.
他们生擒了艾城的王，将他解到约书亚那里。

And when Israel had finished slaying all the inhabitants of Ai in the field, in the wilderness where they had pursued them, and all of them had fallen by the edge of the sword until they were consumed, all Israel returned to Ai and struck it with the edge of the sword.
以色列人在田间，在旷野杀尽所追赶艾城的一切居民，艾城人都倒在刀下，直到灭尽；以色列众人就回到艾城，用刀击杀了城中的人。

And all those who fell that day, both of men and of women, were twelve thousand, all the people of Ai.
当日倒毙的人，连男带女共有一万二千，就是艾城所有的人。

And Joshua did not withdraw his hand with which he stretched out the javelin until he had utterly destroyed all the inhabitants of Ai.
约书亚没有收回手里所伸出来的短枪，直到把艾城的一切居民尽行杀灭。

Only the cattle and the spoil of that city Israel took for themselves as plunder, according to the word of Jehovah, which He commanded Joshua.
惟独城中的牲畜和财物，以色列人都取为自己的掠物，是照耶和华所吩咐约书亚的话。

So Joshua burned Ai and made it a heap forever; it is a desolation to this day.
约书亚将艾城焚烧，使城永为废堆，荒凉直到今日。

And he hanged the king of Ai on a tree until evening time. And when the sun set, Joshua commanded, and they took his corpse down from the tree and threw it at the entrance of the city gate, and they erected over him a great heap of stones, which is there to this day.
他将艾城的王挂在树上，直到晚上。日落的时候，约书亚下令，人就把尸首从树上取下来，丢在城门口，在尸首上堆成一大堆石头，直存到今日。

Then Joshua built an altar to Jehovah the God of Israel on Mount Ebal,
那时，约书亚在以巴路山上为耶和华以色列的神筑一座坛，

As Moses the servant of Jehovah had commanded the children of Israel, as it is written in the book of the law of Moses, an altar of unhewn stones upon which no one had lifted up an iron tool. And they offered upon it burnt offerings to Jehovah, and they sacrificed peace offerings.
是照着耶和华仆人摩西所吩咐以色列人的话，正如摩西律法书上所写的，用没有动过铁器的整块石头筑的。众人在这坛上向耶和华献燔祭，又献平安祭。

And there he wrote upon the stones a copy of the law of Moses, which he had written in the presence of the children of Israel.
约书亚在那里，当着以色列人面前，将摩西所写的律法抄写在石头上。

And all Israel and their elders and their officers and their judges stood on either side of the Ark in front of the Levitical priests who carried the Ark of the Covenant of Jehovah, both sojourner and native alike: half of them in front of Mount Gerizim and half of them in front of Mount Ebal, as Moses the servant of Jehovah had first commanded, to bless the people of Israel.
以色列众人，无论是寄居的、是本地人，和长老、官长并审判官，都站在约柜两旁，在抬耶和华约柜的祭司利未人面前，一半对着基利心山，一半对着以巴路山，为以色列民祝福，正如耶和华仆人摩西先前所吩咐的。

And afterward he read all the words of the law, the blessing and the curse, according to all that was written in the book of the law.
随后，约书亚将律法上一切祝福和咒诅的话，照着律法书上所写的一切，都宣读了。

There was not a word of all that Moses had commanded that Joshua did not read before all the congregation of Israel and the women and the little ones and the sojourners who went among them.
摩西所吩咐的一切话，约书亚在以色列全会众和妇女、孩子并在他们中间来往的寄居者面前，没有一句不宣读的。
