The former account I have made, O Theophilus, concerning all the things that Jesus began both to do and to teach,
提阿非罗啊，我已经作了前书，论到耶稣开头所行所教训的一切事，

Until the day on which He was taken up, after He had given commandment through the Holy Spirit to the apostles whom He chose;
直到祂借着圣灵，吩咐所拣选的使徒以后，被接上升的日子为止。

To whom also He presented Himself alive after His suffering by many irrefutable proofs, appearing to them through a period of forty days and speaking the things concerning the kingdom of God.
祂受害之后，用许多确据，将自己活活地显给使徒看，四十天之久向他们显现，讲说神国的事。

And as He met together with them, He charged them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the promise of the Father, which, He said, You heard from Me;
耶稣同他们聚集的时候，嘱咐他们说，不要离开耶路撒冷，却要等候父所应许的，就是你们听我说过的；

For John baptized with water, but you shall be baptized in the Holy Spirit not many days from now.
因为约翰是在水里施浸，但过不多几日，你们要在圣灵里受浸。

So the ones who came together asked Him, saying, Lord, are You at this time restoring the kingdom to Israel?
那些聚在一起的人问耶稣说，主啊，你复兴以色列国，就在这时候么？

But He said to them, It is not for you to know times or seasons which the Father has set by His own authority.
耶稣对他们说，父凭着自己的权柄所定的时候或时期，不是你们可以知道的。

But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you, and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
但圣灵降临在你们身上，你们就必得着能力，并要在耶路撒冷、犹太全地、撒玛利亚，直到地极，作我的见证人。

And when He had said these things, while they were looking on, He was lifted up, and a cloud took Him away from their sight.
说了这话，他们正看的时候，祂就被取上升，有一朵云彩把祂从他们的眼界中接上去了。

And while they were looking intently into heaven as He went, behold, two men in white clothing stood beside them,
当祂往上去，他们定睛望天的时候，看哪，有两个人身穿白衣，站在他们旁边，说，

Who also said, Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into heaven? This Jesus, who has been taken up from you into heaven, will come in the same way as you beheld Him going into heaven.
诸位，加利利人哪，你们为什么站着望天？这离开你们被接升天的耶稣，你们见祂怎样往天上去，祂还要怎样来。

Then they returned to Jerusalem from the mount called Olivet, which is near Jerusalem, a Sabbath day's journey away.
有一座山名叫橄榄山，离耶路撒冷不远，有安息日可走的路程，当下门徒从那里回耶路撒冷去。

And when they entered, they went up to the upper room where they were residing, Peter and John and James and Andrew, Philip and Thomas, Bartholomew and Matthew, James the son of Alphaeus and Simon the Zealot and Judas the brother of James.
他们进了城，就上了所住的一间楼房，在那里有彼得、约翰、雅各、安得烈、腓力、多马、巴多罗买、马太、亚勒腓的儿子雅各、热烈派的西门和雅各的兄弟犹大。

These all continued steadfastly with one accord in prayer, together with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with His brothers.
这些人同着几个妇人，和耶稣的母亲马利亚，并耶稣的兄弟，都同心合意，坚定持续地祷告。

So all Israel was enrolled by genealogy, and they are now written in the book of the kings of Israel; and Judah was carried away captive to Babylon for their unfaithfulness.
以色列众人都按家谱登记，写在以色列诸王记上；犹大人因为不忠信，被迁徙到巴比伦。

Now the first ones to dwell in their possessions in their cities were Israel, the priests, the Levites, and the temple servants.
那些首先回来，住在自己地业城邑中的，有以色列人、祭司、利未人和殿役。

And some of the children of Judah and some of the children of Benjamin and some of the children of Ephraim and Manasseh dwelt in Jerusalem:
有些犹大人、便雅悯人、以法莲人、玛拿西人住在耶路撒冷。

Uthai the son of Ammihud, the son of Omri, the son of Imri, the son of Bani, of the children of Perez the son of Judah;
犹大儿子法勒斯的子孙中有乌太；乌太是亚米忽的儿子，亚米忽是暗利的儿子，暗利是音利的儿子，音利是巴尼的儿子。

And of the Shilonites: Asaiah the firstborn and his sons.
示罗人中，有长子亚帅雅和他的众子。

And of the sons of Zerah: Jeuel and their brothers, six hundred ninety.
谢拉的子孙中，有耶乌利和他的弟兄，共六百九十人。

And of the sons of Benjamin: Sallu the son of Meshullam, the son of Hodaviah, the son of Hassenuah;
便雅悯的子孙中，有哈西努的曾孙、何达威雅的孙子、米书兰的儿子撒路；

And Ibneiah the son of Jeroham: and Elah the son of Uzzi, the son of Michri; and Meshullam the son of Shephatiah, the son of Reuel, the son of Ibnijah;
又有耶罗罕的儿子伊比尼雅，米基立的孙子、乌西的儿子以拉，伊比尼雅的曾孙、流珥的孙子、示法提雅的儿子米书兰，

And their brothers, according to their generations, nine hundred fifty-six; all these men were heads of fathers' houses according to their fathers' houses.
和他们的族弟兄，按谱系共有九百五十六名；这些人都是按着他们的宗族作宗族的首领。

And of the priests: Jedaiah and Jehoiarib and Jachin;
祭司中有耶大雅、耶何雅立、雅斤；

And Azariah the son of Hilkiah, the son of Meshullam, the son of Zadok, the son of Meraioth, the son of Ahitub, the ruler of the house of God;
还有管理神殿的亚撒利雅；亚撒利雅是希勒家的儿子，希勒家是米书兰的儿子，米书兰是撒督的儿子，撒督是米拉约的儿子，米拉约是亚希突的儿子。

And Adaiah the son of Jeroham, the son of Pashhur, the son of Malchijah; and Maasai the son of Adiel, the son of Jahzerah, the son of Meshullam, the son of Meshillemith, the son of Immer;
有玛基雅的曾孙、巴施户珥的孙子、耶罗罕的儿子亚大雅；又有亚第业的儿子玛赛；亚第业是雅希细拉的儿子，雅希细拉是米书兰的儿子，米书兰是米实利密的儿子，米实利密是音麦的儿子。

And their brothers, heads of their fathers' houses, one thousand seven hundred sixty able men for the work of the service of the house of God.
还有他们的弟兄，都是宗族的首领，共有一千七百六十人，是善于作神殿事奉之工的。

And of the Levites: Shemaiah the son of Hasshub, the son of Azrikam, the son of Hashabiah, of the sons of Merari;
利未人米拉利的子孙中，有哈沙比雅的曾孙、押利甘的孙子、哈述的儿子示玛雅，

And Bakbakkar, Heresh, and Galal; and Mattaniah the son of Mica, the son of Zichri, the son of Asaph;
有拔巴甲、黑勒施、迦拉，并亚萨的曾孙、细基利的孙子、米迦的儿子玛探雅，

And Obadiah the son of Shemaiah, the son of Galal, the son of Jeduthun; and Berechiah the son of Asa, the son of Elkanah, who dwelt in the villages of the Netophathites.
又有耶杜顿的曾孙、迦拉的孙子、示玛雅的儿子俄巴底，还有以利加拿的孙子、亚撒的儿子比利家；以利加拿住在尼陀法人的村庄。

And the gatekeepers: Shallum and Akkub and Talmon and Ahiman and their brothers. Shallum was the chief,
守门的是沙龙、亚谷、达们、亚希幔和他们的弟兄，以沙龙为首领；

Being stationed until then at the king's gate on the east. These were the gatekeepers for the camps of the children of Levi.
至今他们仍驻守朝东的王门。这些是利未人营中守门的。

And Shallum the son of Kore, the son of Ebiasaph, the son of Korah, and his brothers of his father's house, the Korahites, were over the work of the service as keepers of the thresholds of the tent; and their fathers had been over the camp of Jehovah, keepers of the entrance.
可拉的曾孙、以比雅撒的孙子、可利的儿子沙龙，和他宗族的弟兄可拉人，都管理事奉之工，守会幕的门；他们的祖宗曾管理耶和华的营，把守营的入口。

And Phinehas the son of Eleazar was ruler over them in time past; Jehovah was with him.
从前以利亚撒的儿子非尼哈管理他们，耶和华也与他同在。

Zechariah the son of Meshelemiah was gatekeeper of the entrance of the Tent of Meeting.
米施利米雅的儿子撒迦利雅是看守会幕门口的。

All these who were chosen to be gatekeepers in the thresholds were two hundred twelve. These were enrolled by genealogy in their villages; David and Samuel the seer appointed them because of their faithfulness.
被选守门的共有二百一十二人。他们在自己的村庄，按家谱登记；大卫和先见撒母耳因他们忠信，派定他们担这职任。

So they and their sons had charge of the gates of the house of Jehovah, the house of the tent, as guards.
他们和他们的子孙作守卫看守耶和华殿的门，就是会幕之殿的门。

On the four sides were the gatekeepers, toward the east, west, north, and south.
在东西南北，四方都有守门的。

And their brothers in their villages were to come in every seven days from time to time to be with them:
他们的族弟兄住在自己的村庄，每七日按时进来与他们换班。

For the four chief gatekeepers, who were Levites, were faithful and were over the chambers and over the treasuries in the house of God.
这四个守门长都是利未人，都忠信看守神殿的房屋和府库。

And they spent the night around the house of God because the charge of the watch was upon them; and they had charge of opening it morning by morning.
他们在神殿的四围住宿，因为他们身负守卫之责，且要负责每日早晨开门。

And some of them had charge of the vessels of service; for these were counted when they were brought in, and they were counted when they were taken out.
利未人中有管理为事奉用之器皿的，按着数目拿出拿入；

And some of them also were appointed over the furniture, and over all the vessels of the sanctuary, and over the fine flour and the wine and the oil and the frankincense and the spices.
又有人受派管理器具和圣所的一切器皿，并细面、酒、油、乳香、香料。

And some of the sons of the priests prepared the compounding of the spices.
祭司的子孙中，有人用香料复合调制成膏油。

And Mattithiah, one of the Levites, who was the firstborn of Shallum the Korahite, was entrusted with the things that were baked in pans.
利未人玛他提雅是可拉族沙龙的长子，他受托管理盘中烤的物。

And some of their brothers from the sons of the Kohathites were over the rows of bread, to prepare them every Sabbath.
他们族弟兄哥辖人的子孙中，有管理陈设饼的，每安息日预备摆列。

And these are the singers, heads of fathers' houses of the Levites, who dwelt in the chambers and were free from other service, for they were employed in their work day and night.
这些人是歌唱的，是利未人宗族的首领，住在殿的房屋，昼夜供职，不作别样的工。

These were heads of fathers' houses of the Levites according to their generations, chief men; these dwelt at Jerusalem.
这些人按谱系都是利未人宗族的首领，是为首的，住在耶路撒冷。

And in Gibeon there dwelt the father of Gibeon, Jeiel, and his wife's name was Maacah;
在基遍住的有基遍的父亲耶利，他的妻子名叫玛迦；

And his firstborn son was Abdon, then Zur and Kish and Baal and Ner and Nadab
他的长子是亚伯顿，他又生苏珥、基士、巴力、尼珥、拿答、

And Gedor and Ahio and Zechariah and Mikloth.
基多、亚希约、撒迦利雅、米基罗。

And Mikloth begot Shimeam. And these also dwelt opposite their brothers in Jerusalem, with their brothers.
米基罗生示米暗。这些人也和他们的弟兄一同住在耶路撒冷，相对而居。

And Ner begot Kish; and Kish begot Saul; and Saul begot Jonathan and Malchishua and Abinadab and Esh-baal.
尼珥生基士，基士生扫罗，扫罗生约拿单、麦基舒亚、亚比拿达、伊施巴力。

And the son of Jonathan was Merib-baal; and Merib-baal begot Micah.
约拿单的儿子是米力巴力；米力巴力生米迦。

And the sons of Micah: Pithon and Melech and Tahrea and Ahaz.
米迦的儿子是毗敦、米勒、他利亚、亚哈斯。

And Ahaz begot Jarah; and Jarah begot Alemeth and Azmaveth and Zimri; and Zimri begot Moza;
亚哈斯生雅拉，雅拉生亚拉篾、亚斯玛威、心利，心利生摩撒，

And Moza begot Binea; and Rephaiah was his son, Eleasah his son, Azel his son.
摩撒生比尼亚；比尼亚的儿子是利法雅，利法雅的儿子是以利亚萨，以利亚萨的儿子是亚悉。

And Azel had six sons, and these were their names: Azrikam, Bocheru, and Ishmael and Sheariah and Obadiah and Hanan; these were the sons of Azel.
亚悉有六个儿子，他们的名字是亚斯利干、波基路、以实玛利、示亚利雅、俄巴底雅、哈难；这些都是亚悉的儿子。

And the Philistines fought against Israel, and the men of Israel fled from before the Philistines and fell down slain on Mount Gilboa.
非利士人攻打以色列人，以色列人在非利士人面前逃跑，在基利波山有被杀仆倒的。

And the Philistines chased Saul and his sons; and the Philistines struck down Jonathan and Abinadab and Malchi-shua, Saul's sons.
非利士人紧追扫罗和他儿子们，击杀了扫罗的儿子约拿单、亚比拿达、麦基舒亚。

And the battle bore heavily against Saul, and the archers hit him; and he was wounded by the archers.
扫罗遭受猛烈攻击，他被弓箭手射中，受伤甚重，

Then Saul said to his armor bearer, Draw your sword, and thrust me through with it, lest these uncircumcised come and abuse me. But his armor bearer would not, for he was very afraid. So Saul took his sword and fell on it.
就吩咐拿他兵器的人说，你拔出刀来，将我刺死，免得这些未受割礼的人来凌辱我。但拿兵器的人甚惧怕，不肯刺他；扫罗就把刀拿来，伏在刀上死了。

And when his armor bearer saw that Saul was dead, he likewise fell on his sword and died.
拿兵器的人见扫罗已死，也伏在刀上死了。

So Saul and his three sons died, and all his house died together.
这样，扫罗和他三个儿子，并他的全家，都一同死亡。

And when all the men of Israel who were in the valley saw that they had fled and that Saul and his sons were dead, they forsook their cities and fled; and the Philistines came and dwelt in them.
在山谷的以色列众人见以色列军兵逃跑，扫罗和他儿子们都死了，也就弃城逃跑；非利士人便来住在其中。

And the next day the Philistines came to strip the slain, and they found Saul and his sons fallen on Mount Gilboa.
次日，非利士人来剥那些被杀之人的衣服，发现扫罗和他儿子们仆倒在基利波山，

And they stripped him and took his head and his armor, and they sent them all around, throughout the land of the Philistines in order to announce the good news to their idols and to the people.
就剥了他的衣服，取了他的首级和军装，打发人送到非利士人之地的四境，向他们的偶像和非利士民众传报好消息；

And they put his armor in the house of their gods, and they fastened his head in the house of Dagon.
又将扫罗的军装放在他们神的庙里，将他的首级钉在大衮庙中。

And when all Jabesh-gilead heard all that the Philistines had done to Saul,
基列雅比众人听见非利士人向扫罗所行的一切事，

All the valiant men rose up and took the body of Saul and the bodies of his sons; and they brought them to Jabesh and buried their bones under the terebinth at Jabesh, and they fasted seven days.
他们中间所有的勇士就起身，将扫罗的尸身和他儿子的尸身收拾起来，送到雅比，将他们的骸骨葬在雅比的橡树下，并且禁食七日。

So Saul died on account of his unfaithfulness which he committed against Jehovah, because of the word of Jehovah which he did not keep, and also because he asked the counsel of a medium, inquiring of her.
这样，扫罗死了，因为他对耶和华不忠信，没有遵守耶和华的话，又因他求问交鬼的妇人，

And he did not inquire of Jehovah; therefore He killed him and turned the kingdom to David the son of Jesse.
没有求问耶和华；所以耶和华使他被杀，把国转给耶西的儿子大卫。
