But Saul, still breathing threatening and murder against the disciples of the Lord, went to the high priest
扫罗仍然向主的门徒，口吐威吓凶杀的话。他来到大祭司跟前，

And asked for letters from him to Damascus for the synagogues, so that if he found any who were of the Way, both men and women, he might bring them bound to Jerusalem.
向他求文书给大马色的各会堂，若是找着这道路上的人，无论男女，都可以捆绑带到耶路撒冷。

And as he went, he drew near to Damascus, and suddenly a light from heaven flashed around him.
扫罗行路，将近大马色，忽然有光从天上四面照着他，

And he fell on the ground and heard a voice saying to him, Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?
他就仆倒在地，听见有声音对他说，扫罗，扫罗，你为什么逼迫我？

And he said, Who are You, Lord? And He said, I am Jesus, whom you persecute.
他说，主啊，你是谁？主说，我就是你所逼迫的耶稣。

But rise up and enter into the city, and it will be told to you what you must do.
起来，进城去，你所当作的事，必有人告诉你。

And the men who journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing the voice but seeing no one.
与他同行的人站着，说不出话来，听见声音，却看不见人。

And Saul rose from the ground; and though his eyes were open, he could see nothing. And they led him by the hand and brought him into Damascus.
扫罗从地上起来，睁开眼睛，竟不能看见什么；有人拉着他的手，领他进了大马色。

And he was three days without seeing, and he neither ate nor drank.
他三日不能看见，也不吃，也不喝。

And there was a certain disciple in Damascus named Ananias; and the Lord said to him in a vision, Ananias. And he said, Behold, I am here, Lord.
当时在大马色有一个门徒，名叫亚拿尼亚，主在异象中对他说，亚拿尼亚。他说，主啊，看哪，我在这里。

And the Lord said to him, Rise up and go to the lane called Straight, and seek in the house of Judas a man from Tarsus named Saul; for behold, he is praying;
主对他说，起来，往那叫直的街上去，在犹大的家里，寻找一个大数人名叫扫罗。看哪，他正在祷告，

And he has seen in a vision a man named Ananias coming in and laying his hands on him so that he may receive his sight.
在异象中看见一个人，名叫亚拿尼亚，进来按手在他身上，叫他能看见。

But Ananias answered, Lord, I have heard from many concerning this man, how many evil things he has done to Your saints in Jerusalem;
亚拿尼亚回答说，主啊，我听见许多人说到这人，他在耶路撒冷向你的圣徒行了多少恶事，

And here he has authority from the chief priests to bind all who call upon Your name.
并且他在这里有从祭司长得来的权柄，要捆绑一切呼求你名的人。

But the Lord said to him, Go, for this man is a chosen vessel to Me, to bear My name before both the Gentiles and kings and the sons of Israel;
主却对亚拿尼亚说，你只管去，因为这人是我所拣选的器皿，要在外邦人和君王并以色列子孙面前，宣扬我的名；

For I will show him how many things he must suffer on behalf of My name.
我要指示他，为我的名必须受许多的苦难。

And Ananias went away and entered into the house; and laying his hands on him, he said, Saul, brother, the Lord has sent me — Jesus, who appeared to you on the road on which you were coming — so that you may receive your sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit.
亚拿尼亚就去了，进了那家，按手在扫罗身上，说，扫罗弟兄，在你来的路上向你显现的耶稣，就是主，差遣我来，叫你能看见，又被圣灵充溢。

And immediately there fell from his eyes something like scales, and he received his sight and rose up and was baptized.
扫罗的眼睛上，好像有鳞立刻掉下来，他就能看见，于是起来受了浸，

And once he had taken food, he was strengthened. And he was with the disciples in Damascus for some days.
吃过饭，就健壮了。扫罗和大马色的门徒同在了一些日子；

And immediately he proclaimed Jesus in the synagogues, that this One is the Son of God.
随即在各会堂里传扬耶稣，说祂是神的儿子。

And all who heard him were amazed and said, Is this not the one who ravaged those who call upon this name in Jerusalem and came here for this, that he might bring them bound before the chief priests?
凡听见的人都惊奇，说，在耶路撒冷损毁呼求这名者的，不就是这人么？并且他到这里来，不就是为要捆绑他们，带到祭司长面前去么？

But Saul was all the more empowered, and he confounded the Jews dwelling in Damascus by proving that this One is the Christ.
但扫罗越发有能力，驳倒住大马色的犹太人，证明这位耶稣就是基督。

And as a considerable number of days were being fulfilled, the Jews took counsel together to do away with him;
过了好些日子，犹太人商议要杀扫罗；

But their plot was made known to Saul. And they also watched the gates closely, both day and night, so that they might do away with him.
但他们的计谋被扫罗知道了。他们又昼夜严密地看守城门，要杀害他。

But his disciples took him by night and let him down through the wall, lowering him in a basket.
他的门徒就在夜间，用筐子把他从城墙上缒下去。

And when he arrived in Jerusalem, he tried to join himself to the disciples; yet all feared him, not believing that he was a disciple.
扫罗到了耶路撒冷，想与门徒结交，众人却都怕他，不信他是门徒。

But Barnabas took hold of him and led him to the apostles, and he related to them how Saul had seen the Lord on the road, and that He had spoken to him, and how in Damascus he had spoken boldly in the name of Jesus.
惟有巴拿巴接受他，领他到使徒那里去，把他在路上怎么看见主，主怎么向他说话，他在大马色怎么在耶稣的名里放胆讲说，都向他们述说出来。

And he was with them, going in and going out in Jerusalem, speaking boldly in the name of the Lord.
于是扫罗在耶路撒冷，和门徒出入来往，

And he spoke and disputed with the Hellenists, but they attempted to do away with him.
在主的名里放胆讲说，并与说希利尼话的犹太人讲论辩驳，他们却想下手杀他。

But when the brothers realized it, they brought him down to Caesarea and sent him forth to Tarsus.
弟兄们知道了，就送他下该撒利亚，打发他往大数去。

And Jehoram his son reigned in his place.
他儿子约兰接续他作王。

And he had brothers, the sons of Jehoshaphat: Azariah and Jehiel and Zechariah and Azariahu and Michael and Shephatiah; all these were the sons of Jehoshaphat the king of Judah.
约兰有几个兄弟，就是约沙法的儿子亚撒利雅、耶歇、撒迦利雅、亚撒利雅、米迦勒、示法提雅；这些都是犹大王约沙法的儿子。

And their father gave them many gifts of silver and gold and precious things, along with fortified cities in Judah; but the kingdom he gave to Jehoram, for he was the firstborn.
他们的父亲将许多礼物，就是金银、宝物和犹大的坚固城，赐给他们；但将国赐给约兰，因为他是长子。

And when Jehoram rose up over the kingdom of his father and strengthened himself, he slew all his brothers with the sword as well as some of the princes of Israel.
约兰兴起治理他父亲的国，奋勇自强，就用刀杀了他的众兄弟和以色列的几个首领。

Jehoram was thirty-two years old when he began to reign, and he reigned eight years in Jerusalem.
约兰登基的时候年三十二岁，在耶路撒冷作王八年。

And he walked in the way of the kings of Israel and as the house of Ahab had done, for Ahab's daughter was his wife; and he did what was evil in the sight of Jehovah.
他行以色列诸王所行的道路，与亚哈家所作的一样，因他娶了亚哈的女儿为妻，行耶和华眼中看为恶的事。

But Jehovah would not destroy the house of David, because of the covenant He had made with David and since He had promised that He would provide a lamp for him and for his children always.
耶和华却因自己与大卫所立的约，不肯灭大卫的家，并要照着自己所应许的，永远赐灯光与大卫和他的子孙。

In his days Edom revolted from under the hand of Judah, and they installed a king over themselves.
约兰年间，以东人背叛，脱离了犹大的手下，自己立王。

So Jehoram crossed over with his captains and all his chariots with him. And he rose up at night and struck the Edomites all around him and the captains of the chariots.
约兰率领军长和所有的战车过去；他夜间起来，攻击那些包围他的以东人和车兵长。

So Edom revolted from under the hand of Judah, as it is to this day. Then Libnah revolted at the same time from under his hand, for he had forsaken Jehovah, the God of his fathers.
这样，以东人背叛，脱离了犹大的手下，直到今日。那时，立拿人也背叛，脱离了犹大的手下，因为约兰离弃耶和华他列祖的神。

He also made high places in the hill country of Judah and caused the inhabitants of Jerusalem to commit harlotries and led Judah astray.
他又在犹大山地建筑邱坛，使耶路撒冷的居民行邪淫，引诱犹大人偏离正路。

And a letter came to him from Elijah the prophet, saying, Thus says Jehovah, the God of David your father, Because you have not walked in the ways of Jehoshaphat your father and in the ways of Asa the king of Judah
申言者以利亚达信与约兰，说，耶和华你祖大卫的神如此说，因为你不行你父亲约沙法和犹大王亚撒所行的道路，

But have walked in the way of the kings of Israel and caused Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem to commit harlotries, as the house of Ahab committed harlotries, and also have slain your brothers, those of your father's house, who were better than you,
乃行以色列诸王所行的道路，使犹大人和耶路撒冷的居民行邪淫，像亚哈家使百姓行邪淫一样，又杀了你父家比你好的诸兄弟，

Jehovah is now striking your people and your children and your wives and all your possessions with a great plague;
看哪，耶和华要降大灾殃击打你的百姓、你的儿女和妻子并你一切所有的。

And you yourself will be severely ill with a disease of your bowels, to the point that your bowels will come out day by day because of the illness.
你的肠子必患病，日加沉重，以致你的肠子坠落下来。

And Jehovah stirred up the spirit of the Philistines and Arabians who are next to the Cushites against Jehoram.
以后，耶和华激动非利士人和靠近古实的亚拉伯人的灵，来攻击约兰。

And they came up against Judah and broke through into it and carried away all the possessions that were found in the king's house as well as his sons and his wives; and no son was left to him except Jehoahaz, the youngest of his sons.
他们上来攻击犹大，侵入境内，掳掠了王宫里所有的财物和他的儿女、妻子，除了他的小儿子约哈斯之外，没有留下一个儿子。

And after all this, Jehovah struck him in his bowels with an incurable illness.
这一切事以后，耶和华击打约兰，使他的肠子患不能医治的病。

And in the course of time, at the end of two years, his bowels came out because of the illness, and he died with severe illnesses. And his people did not make a burning for him, like the burning they had made for his fathers.
过了一段时间，约有二年，他的肠子坠落下来，病重而死。他的民没有为他烧什么物件，像从前为他列祖所烧的一样。

He was thirty-two years old when he began to reign, and he reigned eight years in Jerusalem. And he departed with no one's regret; and they buried him in the city of David, but not in the tombs of the kings.
约兰登基的时候年三十二岁，在耶路撒冷作王八年。他去世无人悼惜，人将他葬在大卫城，只是不在诸王的坟墓里。

And the inhabitants of Jerusalem made Ahaziah, his youngest son, king in his place, for the band of men who had come up to the camp with the Arabians had slain all the older sons; so Ahaziah the son of Jehoram the king of Judah reigned.
耶路撒冷的居民立约兰的小儿子亚哈谢接续他作王，因为随同亚拉伯人上来攻营的一队军兵，曾杀了亚哈谢的众兄长；因此，犹大王约兰的儿子亚哈谢作了王。

Ahaziah was twenty-two years old when he began to reign, and he reigned one year in Jerusalem; and his mother's name was Athaliah, the daughter of Omri.
亚哈谢登基的时候年二十二岁，在耶路撒冷作王一年；他母亲名叫亚他利雅，是暗利的孙女。

He also walked in the ways of the house of Ahab, for his mother was his counselor in acting wickedly.
亚哈谢也行亚哈家所行的道路，因为他母亲给他主谋，使他行恶。

And he did what was evil in the sight of Jehovah, like the house of Ahab; for they were his counselors after the death of his father, to his own destruction.
他行耶和华眼中看为恶的事，像亚哈家一样；因他父亲死后有亚哈家的人给他主谋，使他败坏。

He walked also in their counsel and went with Jehoram the son of Ahab the king of Israel to battle against Hazael the king of Syria at Ramoth-gilead. And the Syrians struck Joram,
他照亚哈家的计谋而行，同以色列王亚哈的儿子约兰往基列的拉末去，与亚兰王哈薛争战。亚兰人打伤了约兰，

And he returned to heal in Jezreel because of the wounds that they had inflicted on him in Ramah when he fought with Hazael the king of Syria. And Ahaziah the son of Jehoram, the king of Judah, went down to see Jehoram the son of Ahab in Jezreel, for he was sick.
约兰回到耶斯列，医治在拉末与亚兰王哈薛打仗所受的伤。犹大王约兰的儿子亚哈谢因为亚哈的儿子约兰病了，就下到耶斯列看望他。

Now the downfall of Ahaziah was of God, because he went to Joram. And when he arrived, he went out with Jehoram against Jehu the son of Nimshi, whom Jehovah had anointed to cut off the house of Ahab.
亚哈谢去见约兰就被害了，这是出于神；因为他到了，就同约兰出去攻击宁示的孙子耶户，这耶户是耶和华所膏，使他剪除亚哈家的。

And when Jehu was executing judgment on the house of Ahab, he found the captains of Judah and the sons of Ahaziah's brothers serving Ahaziah; and he slew them.
耶户讨亚哈家罪的时候，遇见犹大的众首领和亚哈谢的众侄子服事亚哈谢，就把他们都杀了。

And he sought for Ahaziah, and they caught him; for he had been hiding in Samaria. And they brought him to Jehu and killed him. And they buried him, for they said, He is the son of Jehoshaphat, who pursued Jehovah with all his heart. And the house of Ahaziah did not have the strength to retain the kingdom.
亚哈谢藏在撒玛利亚，耶户寻找他，众人将他拿住，送到耶户那里，就杀了他，将他葬埋；因他们说，他是那全心寻求耶和华之约沙法的儿子。这样，亚哈谢的家无力保守国权。
