But an angel of the Lord spoke to Philip, saying, Rise up and go south on the road that goes down from Jerusalem to Gaza. This is the desert route.
有主的一位使者对腓利说，起来，向南走，往那从耶路撒冷下迦萨的路上去，那路是旷野。

And he rose up and went. And behold, an Ethiopian man, a eunuch, a man in power under Candace, queen of the Ethiopians, who was over all her treasure, had come to Jerusalem to worship.
腓利就起身去了。看哪，有一个埃提阿伯人，是个有大权的太监，在埃提阿伯女王干大基手下总管银库，他上耶路撒冷去敬拜，

And he was returning and was sitting in his chariot and reading the prophet Isaiah.
现在回来，在车上坐着，念申言者以赛亚的书。

And the Spirit said to Philip, Approach and join this chariot.
那灵对腓利说，你上前去，贴近那车走。

And when Philip ran up, he heard him reading Isaiah the prophet and said, Do you really know the things that you are reading?
腓利就跑上前去，听见他念申言者以赛亚的书，便说，你所念的，你明白么？

And he said, How could I unless someone guides me? And he entreated Philip to come up and sit with him.
他说，没有人指引我，怎能明白？于是恳求腓利上车，与他同坐。

Now the passage of Scripture which he was reading was this: “As a sheep He was led to slaughter; and as a lamb before its shearer is dumb, so He does not open His mouth.
他所念的那段经乃是：“祂像羊被牵去宰杀，又像羊羔在剪毛的人面前无声，祂也是这样不开口。

In His humiliation His judgment was taken away. Who shall declare His generation? For His life is taken away from the earth.”
祂卑微的时候，人不按公义审判祂；谁能述说祂的世代？因为祂的生命从地上被夺去。”

And the eunuch answered Philip and said, I beseech you, Concerning whom does the prophet say this? Concerning himself or concerning someone else?
太监对腓利说，请问，申言者说这话是指着谁？是指着自己，还是指着别人？

And Philip opened his mouth, and beginning from this Scripture he announced Jesus as the gospel to him.
腓利就开口，从这经上起，向他传耶稣为福音。

And as they were going along the road, they came upon some water, and the eunuch said, Look, water. What prevents me from being baptized?
二人正沿路走的时候，到了有水的地方，太监说，看哪，这里有水，我受浸有什么妨碍？

And Philip said, If you believe from all your heart, you will be saved. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.
腓利对他说，你若是全心相信就可以。他回答说，我信耶稣基督是神的儿子。

And he ordered the chariot to stand still, and they both went down into the water, Philip and the eunuch, and he baptized him.
于是吩咐车停住，腓利和太监二人同下水里去，腓利就给他施浸。

And when they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught Philip away; and the eunuch did not see him anymore, for he went on his way rejoicing.
他们从水里上来的时候，主的灵把腓利提了去，太监也不再看见他，就欢欢喜喜走他的路。

But Philip was found in Azotus; and passing through, he announced the gospel to all the cities until he came to Caesarea.
后来有人在亚锁都遇见腓利，他走遍所有的城邑，传扬福音，直到该撒利亚。

And Jehoshaphat his son reigned in his place, and he strengthened himself against Israel.
亚撒的儿子约沙法接续他作王，奋勇自强，防备以色列人，

And he put forces in all the fortified cities of Judah and put garrisons in the land of Judah and in the cities of Ephraim that Asa his father had taken.
安置军兵在犹大一切坚固城里，又安置防兵在犹大地和他父亲亚撒所攻取以法莲的城邑中。

And Jehovah was with Jehoshaphat because he walked in the former ways of David his father; and he did not pursue the Baals
耶和华与约沙法同在，因为他行他祖大卫起初所行的道路，不寻求诸巴力，

But pursued the God of his father and walked in His commandments and did not do as Israel had done.
只寻求他父亲的神，遵行祂的诫命，不照以色列人所行的而行。

Therefore Jehovah established the kingdom in his hand. And all Judah gave tribute to Jehoshaphat, and he had riches and honor in abundance.
所以耶和华使国在他手中得坚定；犹大众人给约沙法进贡，他大有财富和尊荣。

And his heart was exalted in the ways of Jehovah; and even more, he removed the high places and the Asherahs from Judah.
他心志高昂，遵行耶和华的道路，并且从犹大除掉一切邱坛和木像。

And in the third year of his reign he sent his officials Ben-hail and Obadiah and Zechariah and Nethanel and Micaiah to teach in the cities of Judah;
他作王第三年，就差遣大臣便亥伊勒、俄巴底、撒迦利雅、拿坦业、米该亚，往犹大各城去教训百姓；

And with them he sent the Levites Shemaiah and Nethaniah and Zebadiah and Asahel and Shemiramoth and Jehonathan and Adonijah and Tobijah and Tob-adonijah, the Levites; and with them, Elishama and Jehoram, the priests.
同着他们的有利未人示玛雅、尼探雅、西巴第雅、亚撒黑、示米拉末、约拿单、亚多尼雅、多比雅、驼巴多尼雅；又有祭司以利沙玛、约兰同着他们。

And they taught in Judah, having the book of the law of Jehovah; and they went around all the cities of Judah and taught among the people.
他们带着耶和华的律法书，在犹大施教，周游犹大各城教训百姓。

And the fear of Jehovah was upon all the kingdoms of the lands that were around Judah, and they waged no war against Jehoshaphat.
犹大四围各地的列国都畏惧耶和华，不敢与约沙法争战。

And some of the Philistines would bring presents to Jehoshaphat and silver as tribute; even the Arabians would bring him flocks, seven thousand seven hundred rams and seven thousand seven hundred male goats.
有些非利士人给约沙法送礼物，纳贡银；亚拉伯人也送他羊群，有公绵羊七千七百只，公山羊七千七百只。

And Jehoshaphat grew exceedingly great, and he built fortresses and store cities in Judah.
约沙法日渐强大，极其强盛，在犹大建造营寨和积货城。

And he conducted many works in the cities of Judah and had men of war, mighty men of valor, in Jerusalem.
他在犹大城邑中有许多工程，又在耶路撒冷有战士，就是大能的勇士。

And this was the muster of them according to their fathers' house: of Judah, the captains of thousands: Adnah the captain, and with him three hundred thousand mighty men of valor;
他们点阅的结果，按着宗族，记在下面：属犹大的千夫长中，有千夫长押拿，率领大能的勇士三十万；

And next to him was Jehohanan the captain, and with him two hundred eighty thousand;
其次是千夫长约哈难，率领大能的勇士二十八万；

And next to him was Amasiah the son of Zichri, who offered himself willingly to Jehovah, and with him two hundred thousand mighty men of valor.
其次是细基利的儿子亚玛斯雅，他为耶和华甘心奉献自己，率领大能的勇士二十万。

And of Benjamin: Eliada, a mighty man of valor, and with him two hundred thousand men armed with bow and shield;
属便雅悯的，有大能的勇士以利雅大，率领拿弓箭和盾牌的二十万；

And next to him was Jehozabad, and with him one hundred eighty thousand armed for war.
其次是约萨拔，率领装备好能打仗的十八万。

These were those who served the king, besides those whom the king had put in the fortified cities throughout all Judah.
这些都是伺候王的，还有王在全犹大坚固城中所安置的不在其内。

And Jehoshaphat had great riches and honor, and he allied himself in marriage with Ahab.
约沙法大有财富和尊荣，就与亚哈结亲。

And after a number of years he came down to Ahab in Samaria. And Ahab slaughtered sheep and oxen in abundance for him and for the people who were with him, and persuaded him to go up against Ramoth-gilead.
过了几年，他下到撒玛利亚去见亚哈。亚哈为他和跟从他的人宰了许多牛羊，怂恿他上去攻打基列的拉末。

And Ahab the king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat the king of Judah, Will you go with me to Ramoth-gilead? And Jehoshaphat said to him, I will be as you are; my people will be as your people; we will be with you in battle.
以色列王亚哈问犹大王约沙法说，你肯同我去进攻基列的拉末么？他回答说，你我不分彼此，我的民如同你的民，我们必与你一同作战。

And Jehoshaphat said to the king of Israel, Ask today, I beg you, for the word of Jehovah.
约沙法对以色列王说，请你先求问耶和华怎么说。

And the king of Israel assembled the prophets, four hundred men, and said to them, Shall we go against Ramoth-gilead to battle, or shall I refrain? And they said, Go up, and God will give it into the king's hand.
于是以色列王招聚申言者四百人，问他们说，我们可以去进攻基列的拉末么？还是应当忍着不去？他们说，可以上去，因为神必将那城交在王的手里。

But Jehoshaphat said, Is there not yet another prophet of Jehovah here, that we might inquire of him?
约沙法说，这里不是还有耶和华的申言者，我们可以求问他么？

And the king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat, There is yet one man by whom we may inquire of Jehovah; but I hate him, for he prophesies no good concerning me, but always evil. He is Micaiah the son of Imla. And Jehoshaphat said, Let not the king say so.
以色列王对约沙法说，还有一个人，是音拉的儿子米该雅，我们可以借他求问耶和华；只是我恨他，因为他指着我所说的预言，不说吉语，总是说凶言。约沙法说，王不必这样说。

Then the king of Israel called a certain officer and said, Quickly bring Micaiah the son of Imla.
以色列王就召了一个官员来，说，你快将音拉的儿子米该雅带来。

Now the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat the king of Judah were sitting each on his throne, arrayed in their robes, sitting on the threshing floor at the entrance of the gate of Samaria; and all the prophets were prophesying before them.
以色列王和犹大王约沙法在撒玛利亚城门口的空场上，各穿王服，坐在位上，所有的申言者都在他们面前说预言。

And Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah made for himself horns of iron, and he said, Thus says Jehovah, With these you will push the Syrians until you have destroyed them.
基拿拿的儿子西底家给自己造了两个铁角，说，耶和华如此说，你要用这角抵触亚兰人，直到将他们灭尽。

And all the prophets prophesied so, saying, Go up to Ramoth-gilead, and succeed; for Jehovah will deliver it into the king's hand.
所有的申言者也都这样预言，说，可以上基列的拉末去，必然顺利，因为耶和华必将那城交在王的手中。

And the messenger who went to call Micaiah spoke to him, saying, See, the words of the prophets, being of one accord, seem good to the king. So let your word, I beg you, be like one of them, and speak good.
那去召米该雅的使者对米该雅说，看哪，众申言者一口同音的都向王说吉言，你不如像他们那样说话，也说吉言。

And Micaiah said, As Jehovah lives, that which my God says, that will I speak.
米该雅说，我指着永活的耶和华起誓，我的神说什么，我就说什么。

And when he came to the king, the king said to him, Micaiah, shall we go against Ramoth-gilead to battle, or shall I refrain? And he said, Go up, and succeed; for they will be delivered into your hand.
米该雅到王面前，王问他说，米该雅啊，我们可以去进攻基列的拉末么？还是应当忍着不去？他说，可以上去，必然顺利，因为他们必被交在你们手里。

And the king said to him, How many times shall I adjure you to tell me nothing but the truth in the name of Jehovah?
王对他说，我当严严地嘱咐你多少次，你才在耶和华的名里向我不说别的，只说实话呢？

And he said, I saw all Israel scattered upon the mountains, like sheep that have no shepherd. And Jehovah said, These have no master; let each of them return to his house in peace.
米该雅说，我看见以色列众民散在山上，如同没有牧人的羊群一般。耶和华说，这些人没有主人，他们可以平平安安地各归各家去。

And the king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat, Did I not tell you that he prophesies no good concerning me, but evil?
以色列王对约沙法说，我岂没有告诉你，这人指着我所说的预言，不说吉语，单说凶言么？

And Micaiah said, Hear therefore the word of Jehovah, I saw Jehovah sitting on His throne and all the host of heaven standing on His right hand and His left.
米该雅说，因此，你们要听耶和华的话；我看见耶和华坐在宝座上，天上的万军侍立在祂左右。

And Jehovah said, Who shall entice Ahab the king of Israel, that he may go up and fall at Ramoth-gilead? And one said after this manner, and another said after that manner.
耶和华说，谁去引诱以色列王亚哈，使他上基列的拉末去，倒毙在那里呢？这个就这样说，那个就那样说。

And there came forth a certain spirit and stood before Jehovah and said, I will entice him. And Jehovah said unto him, How?
随后有一个灵出来，站在耶和华面前，说，我去引诱他。耶和华问他说，你用何法呢？

And he said, I will go forth and be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. And He said, You shall entice him and surely prevail. Go forth, and do so.
他说，我要前去，在他一切申言者口中作谎言的灵。耶和华说，你去引诱他，必能成功；你前去如此行吧。

So now Jehovah has put a lying spirit in the mouth of these your prophets, and Jehovah has spoken evil concerning you.
现在耶和华已将谎言的灵放在你这些申言者的口中，并且耶和华已经指着你说了凶言。

Then Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah approached and struck Micaiah upon the cheek and said, Which way did the Spirit of Jehovah pass from me to speak to you?
基拿拿的儿子西底家前来，打米该雅的脸，说，耶和华的灵从哪条路离开我去与你说话呢？

And Micaiah said, You will see on that day when you go from room to room to hide yourself.
米该雅说，你逐室躲藏的那日，就必看见了。

And the king of Israel said, Take Micaiah and carry him back to Amon the governor of the city and to Joash the king's son.
以色列王说，将米该雅带回去，交给邑宰亚们和王的儿子约阿施。

And you shall say, Thus says the king, Put this man in prison, and feed him with the bread of affliction and with the water of affliction until I return in peace.
你要说，王如此说，把这个人下在监里，使他受苦，吃不饱、喝不足，直到我平平安安地回来。

And Micaiah said, If you return in peace at all, Jehovah has not spoken by me. And he said, Listen, O peoples, all of you!
米该雅说，你若能平平安安地回来，那就是耶和华没有借我说话了；又说，众民哪，你们都要听！

And the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat the king of Judah went up to Ramoth-gilead.
以色列王和犹大王约沙法上基列的拉末去了。

And the king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat, I will disguise myself and enter into the battle; but you put on your robes. And the king of Israel disguised himself, and they went into the battle.
以色列王对约沙法说，我要改装上阵，你可以仍穿王服。于是以色列王改装，他们就上阵去了。

And the king of Syria commanded the captains of his chariots, saying, Fight neither with small nor great, but with the king of Israel only.
先是亚兰王吩咐车兵长说，他们的兵将，无论大小，你们都不可与他们争战，只要与以色列王争战。

And when the captains of the chariots saw Jehoshaphat, they said, This is the king of Israel. And they surrounded him to fight, and Jehoshaphat cried out. And Jehovah helped him, and God diverted them from him.
车兵长看见约沙法，便说，这必是以色列王；他们就围绕他，与他争战。约沙法呼喊，耶和华就帮助他；神驱使他们离开他。

And when the captains of the chariots perceived that he was not the king of Israel, they turned back from pursuing him.
车兵长见不是以色列王，就转回不追他了。

And a man drew a bow at random and hit the king of Israel between the scale armor and the breastplate. And the king of Israel said to the charioteer, Turn your hand, and drive me out of the camp; for I am wounded.
有一人随便开弓，恰巧射入以色列王的甲缝里。王对赶车的说，我受了伤，你把车转回去，拉我离开战阵吧。

And the battle increased that day; and the king of Israel was propped up in his chariot before the Syrians until the evening, and he died at the time of the setting of the sun.
那日战事越发猛烈，有人扶以色列王站在车上，对着亚兰人，直到晚上；约在日落的时候，王就死了。

Then Jehoshaphat the king of Judah returned to his house in Jerusalem in peace.
犹大王约沙法平平安安地回耶路撒冷，到自己宫里。

And Jehu the son of Hanani the seer went out to meet him; and he said to King Jehoshaphat, Should you help the wicked and love those who hate Jehovah? Because of this matter wrath has come upon you from Jehovah.
先见哈拿尼的儿子耶户出来迎接约沙法王，对他说，你岂当帮助恶人，爱那恨恶耶和华的人呢？因此耶和华的忿怒临到了你。

Nevertheless there are some good things found in you, for you have purged the Asherahs out of the land and have set your heart to pursue God.
然而你还有善行，因你从这地除掉了木像，立定心意寻求神。

And Jehoshaphat dwelt in Jerusalem. And he went out again among the people, from Beer-sheba to the hill country of Ephraim, and brought them back to Jehovah, the God of their fathers.
约沙法住在耶路撒冷，以后又出巡民间，从别是巴直到以法莲山地，引导人民归向耶和华他们列祖的神。

And he set up judges in the land throughout all the fortified cities of Judah, city by city.
他又在犹大遍地的坚固城里，一城一城地设立审判官，

And he said to the judges, Consider what you are doing, for you judge not for man but for Jehovah, and He is with you in pronouncing judgment.
对他们说，你们办事应当谨慎，因为你们判断不是为人，乃是为耶和华；宣判的时候，祂必与你们同在。

Now therefore let the fear of Jehovah be upon you; be careful how you act, for there is no iniquity with Jehovah our God, nor respect of persons, nor the taking of bribes.
现在你们应当敬畏耶和华；你们要谨慎办事，因为耶和华我们的神没有不公，不偏待人，也不受贿赂。

And also in Jerusalem Jehoshaphat set up some of the Levites and priests and heads of the fathers' houses in Israel for the judgment of Jehovah and for disputes. And they came back to Jerusalem.
约沙法也从利未人、祭司并以色列宗族的首领中设立一些人，在耶路撒冷为耶和华判断，处理争讼的事。他们就回耶路撒冷去了。

And he commanded them, saying, Thus shall you do in the fear of Jehovah, faithfully and with a perfect heart.
约沙法嘱咐他们说，你们当这样敬畏耶和华，以纯全的心忠信的办事：

And for every dispute that comes to you from among your brothers who dwell in their cities, whether concerning bloodshed or concerning law or commandment, statutes or ordinances, you shall warn them, so that they are not guilty before Jehovah and so that wrath does not come upon you and your brothers. Thus shall you act, and you will not be guilty.
你们住在各城里的弟兄，若有争讼的事来到你们这里，或为流血，或为犯律法、诫命、律例和典章，你们要警戒他们，免得他们在耶和华面前有了罪过，以致祂的忿怒临到你们和你们的弟兄；你们要这样行，就没有罪过了。

And now Amariah the chief priest is over you in all matters concerning Jehovah; and Zebadiah the son of Ishmael, the ruler of the house of Judah, is over you in all matters concerning the king. And the Levites will serve before you as officers. Be strong and take action, and may Jehovah be with the good.
看哪，凡属耶和华的事，有祭司长亚玛利雅管理你们；凡属王的事，有犹大家的首领以实玛利的儿子西巴第雅管理你们；在你们面前有利未人作官长。你们应当壮胆行事，愿耶和华与善人同在。

Then after this the children of Moab and the children of Ammon and with them some of the Meunim came against Jehoshaphat for battle.
此后，摩押人和亚扪人，还有一些米乌尼人随同他们，来攻击约沙法。

And some came and told Jehoshaphat, saying, A great multitude has come upon you from beyond the sea, from Syria; and they are now in Hazazon-tamar (this is En-gedi).
有人来报告约沙法说，从海那边，就是从亚兰，有大批军众来攻击你，如今他们在哈洗逊他玛，就是隐基底。

And Jehoshaphat was afraid and set his face to pursue Jehovah, and he proclaimed a fast throughout all Judah.
约沙法便惧怕，定意寻求耶和华，在全犹大宣告禁食。

And Judah gathered themselves to seek help from Jehovah; indeed out of all the cities of Judah they came to seek Jehovah.
于是犹大人聚集，求耶和华帮助；犹大各城都有人出来寻求耶和华。

And Jehoshaphat stood up in the assembly of Judah and Jerusalem, in the house of Jehovah, before the new court;
约沙法就在犹大和耶路撒冷的会中，站在耶和华殿的新院前，

And he said, O Jehovah, the God of our fathers, are You not God in heaven? And are You not ruler over all the kingdoms of the nations? And in Your hand is strength and might, and there is no one who can stand against You.
说，耶和华我们列祖的神啊，你不是天上的神么？你不是万邦万国的主宰么？在你手中有大能大力，无人能抵挡你。

Did You not, O our God, dispossess the inhabitants of this land before Your people Israel and give it forever to the seed of Abraham Your friend?
我们的神啊，你不是曾把这地的居民从你民以色列人面前赶出去，将这地赐给你朋友亚伯拉罕的后裔永远为业么？

And they have dwelt in it and built in it for You a sanctuary for Your name, saying,
他们住在这地，又在这地为你的名建造圣所，说，

If evil comes upon us, the sword or judgment or pestilence or famine, we will stand before this house and before You — for Your name is in this house — and cry unto You in our affliction, and You will hear and save.
倘有祸患临到我们，无论是刀剑灾殃，或是瘟疫饥荒，我们在急难的时候，站在这殿前，在你面前向你呼求，因为你的名在这殿里，你必垂听而拯救。

And now at this moment the children of Ammon and Moab and Mount Seir, whom You would not let Israel invade when they came out of the land of Egypt, but they turned away from them and did not destroy them —
现在这里有亚扪人、摩押人和西珥山人；从前以色列人从埃及地到这里来的时候，你不让以色列人侵犯他们，以色列人就从他们转开，不灭绝他们；

At this moment they are rewarding us by coming to cast us out of Your possession, which You gave us as a possession.
看哪，他们怎样报复我们，要来驱逐我们离开你的地，就是你赐给我们为业的。

O our God, will You not judge them? For we have no strength before this great multitude that is coming against us, and we do not know what to do; but our eyes are upon You.
我们的神啊，你不惩罚他们么？因为我们无力抵挡这来攻击我们的大批军众，我们也不知道该怎样行，我们的眼目单仰望你。

And all Judah stood before Jehovah with their little ones, their wives, and their children.
犹大众人和他们的孩子、妻子、儿女，都站在耶和华面前。

Then the Spirit of Jehovah came upon Jahaziel the son of Zechariah, the son of Benaiah, the son of Jeiel, the son of Mattaniah, the Levite of the sons of Asaph, in the midst of the assembly;
那时，耶和华的灵在会中临到利未人亚萨的子孙，玛探雅的玄孙，耶利的曾孙，比拿雅的孙子，撒迦利雅的儿子雅哈悉；

And he said, Listen, all you of Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem and King Jehoshaphat. Thus says Jehovah to you, Do not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours but God's.
他说，犹大众人、耶路撒冷的居民和约沙法王，你们要听。耶和华对你们如此说，不要因这大批军众惧怕惊惶；因为争战的胜败不在于你们，乃在于神。

Tomorrow go down against them. They are coming up at the ascent of Ziz, and you will find them at the end of the river valley before the wilderness of Jeruel.
明日你们要下去抵挡他们；他们是从洗斯坡上来，你们必在耶鲁伊勒旷野前，河谷的尽头遇见他们。

It is not for you to fight in this battle. Station yourselves; stand and see the salvation of Jehovah among you, O Judah and Jerusalem. Do not be afraid nor dismayed. Tomorrow go out to meet them, for Jehovah is with you.
犹大和耶路撒冷人哪，这次你们不要争战，只管站住，坚定站立，看那与你们同在的耶和华施行拯救。不要惧怕，也不要惊惶。明日当出去迎战，因为耶和华与你们同在。

And Jehoshaphat bowed his head with his face to the ground, and all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem fell before Jehovah to worship Jehovah.
约沙法就低头面伏于地，犹大众人和耶路撒冷的居民也俯伏在耶和华面前，敬拜耶和华。

And the Levites, of the children of the Kohathites and of the children of the Korahites, rose up to praise Jehovah the God of Israel with an exceedingly loud voice.
属哥辖子孙和可拉子孙的利未人都起来，用极大的声音赞美耶和华以色列的神。

And they rose up early in the morning and went out to the wilderness of Tekoa. And as they went out, Jehoshaphat stood up and said, Hear me, O Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem. Believe in Jehovah your God, and you will be established; believe in His prophets, and you will succeed.
次日清早，众人起来出到提哥亚的旷野去。出去的时候，约沙法站着说，犹大人和耶路撒冷的居民哪，你们听我说；相信耶和华你们的神，就必稳固；相信祂的申言者，就必亨通。

And when he had taken counsel with the people, he appointed them to sing to Jehovah and give thanks in holy array as they went out before the army and say, Give thanks to Jehovah, for His lovingkindness endures forever.
约沙法既与民商议了，就设立一些人，穿着圣别的礼服走在军前，向耶和华歌唱，称谢说，当称谢耶和华，因祂的慈爱永远长存。

And when they began to shout in song and to praise, Jehovah set ambushes for the children of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir, who were coming out against Judah; and they were struck.
众人一开始欢呼歌唱赞美，耶和华就派伏兵击杀那来攻击犹大人的亚扪人、摩押人和西珥山人，他们就被打败了。

And the children of Ammon and Moab stood up against the inhabitants of Mount Seir to absolutely destroy and demolish them; and when they had made an end of the inhabitants of Seir, every man helped to destroy his neighbor.
亚扪人和摩押人起来，击杀住西珥山的人，将他们杀尽灭绝；灭尽住西珥山的人之后，他们又彼此自相击杀。

And Judah came to the wilderness watchtower and looked upon the multitude; and there they were, fallen corpses on the ground, and no one escaped.
犹大人来到旷野的望楼，向那军众观看，见尸横遍地，没有一个逃脱的。

And when Jehoshaphat and his people came to take the spoil of them as plunder, they found among them in abundance both possessions and corpses and precious vessels, and stripped these for themselves, more than they could carry. And they spent three days taking spoil, for there was much.
约沙法和他的百姓就来收取他们的掠物，在尸首中见了许多财物、珍宝，他们剥脱下来作为己有的，多得无法携带；因为甚多，直收取了三日。

And on the fourth day they assembled themselves in the valley of Beracah (for there they blessed Jehovah; therefore they have called the name of that place the valley of Beracah to this day).
第四日众人聚集在比拉迦谷，在那里颂赞耶和华，因此那地方名叫比拉迦谷，直到今日。

And they turned, every man of Judah and Jerusalem, with Jehoshaphat at their head, to go back to Jerusalem with rejoicing; for Jehovah had caused them to rejoice over their enemies.
犹大人和耶路撒冷人都欢欢喜喜地回耶路撒冷，约沙法率领他们；耶和华使他们因战胜仇敌而欢喜快乐。

And they came to Jerusalem with harps and lyres and trumpets, to the house of Jehovah.
他们弹琴、鼓瑟、吹号来到耶路撒冷，进了耶和华的殿。

And the fear of God was upon all the kingdoms of the lands when they heard that Jehovah had fought with the enemies of Israel.
各地诸国听见耶和华战败以色列的仇敌，就都畏惧神。

So the kingdom of Jehoshaphat was quiet, for his God had given him rest all around.
这样，约沙法的国得享太平，因为他的神使他四围平静。

And Jehoshaphat reigned over Judah; he was thirty-five years old when he began to reign. And he reigned twenty-five years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Azubah, the daughter of Shilhi.
约沙法作犹大王，登基的时候年三十五岁，在耶路撒冷作王二十五年；他母亲名叫阿苏巴，乃示利希的女儿。

And he walked in the way of his father Asa and did not turn away from it, doing what was right in the sight of Jehovah.
约沙法行他父亲亚撒所行的道路，不偏离左右，行耶和华眼中看为正的事；

However the high places were not removed, nor as yet did the people set their heart after the God of their fathers.
只是邱坛还没有废去，百姓也没有立定心意归向他们列祖的神。

And the rest of the acts of Jehoshaphat, the first and the last, are there written in the chronicle of Jehu the son of Hanani, which is inserted in the book of the kings of Israel.
约沙法其余的事，自始至终都写在哈拿尼的儿子耶户的年代志上，载入以色列诸王记中。

Then after this, Jehoshaphat the king of Judah joined himself to Ahaziah the king of Israel; he acted wickedly in so doing.
此后，犹大王约沙法与以色列王亚哈谢结盟；亚哈谢行恶太甚。

And he joined himself with him to make ships to go to Tarshish, and they made the ships in Ezion-geber.
约沙法与他合伙造船要往他施去，他们在以旬迦别造船。

Then Eliezer the son of Dodavahu from Mareshah prophesied against Jehoshaphat, saying, Because you have joined yourself with Ahaziah, Jehovah has destroyed your works. And the ships were shattered and were unable to go to Tarshish.
那时玛利沙人多大瓦的儿子以利以谢向约沙法预言，说，因你与亚哈谢结盟，耶和华必破坏你所造的。后来那些船果然破坏，不能往他施去了。

And Jehoshaphat slept with his fathers and was buried with his fathers in the city of David.
约沙法与他列祖同睡，葬在大卫城，与他的列祖在一起。
