Now as Peter was utterly perplexed in himself as to what the vision which he had seen might be, behold, the men who were sent by Cornelius, having made diligent inquiry for Simon's house, stood at the gate.
彼得自己里面正在极其困惑，不知所看见的异象是什么意思，看哪，哥尼流所差来的人，已经询问到西门的家，站在门外，

And they called out and inquired whether Simon, who is surnamed Peter, was lodging there.
喊着查问：有称呼彼得的西门在这里作客没有？

And while Peter was pondering over the vision, the Spirit said to him, Behold, there are three men seeking you.
彼得还反复思想那异象的时候，那灵对他说，看哪，有三个人来找你，

But rise up, go down and go with them, doubting nothing, because I have sent them.
起来，下去，和他们同往，不要疑惑，因为是我差他们来的。

And Peter went down to the men and said, Behold, I am he whom you seek; what is the cause for which you have come?
于是彼得下到那些人那里，说，看哪，我就是你们所找的人，你们来这里是为什么缘故？

And they said, Cornelius, a centurion, a righteous man and one who fears God and is well attested to by the whole nation of the Jews, was divinely instructed by a holy angel to send for you to come to his house and hear words from you.
他们说，百夫长哥尼流是个义人，敬畏神，为犹太全国所称赞，他蒙一位圣天使指示，叫他请你到他家里去，并听你的话。

So he called them in and lodged them. And on the next day he rose up and went away with them; and some of the brothers from Joppa accompanied him.
彼得就请他们进去，留他们住下。次日起身和他们同去，还有约帕的几位弟兄同着他去。

And on the next day they entered into Caesarea. And Cornelius was awaiting them, having called together his relatives and intimate friends.
又次日，他们进入该撒利亚，哥尼流已经召齐了他的亲属密友，等候他们。

And when Peter entered, Cornelius met him, and falling at his feet, worshipped him.
彼得一进去，哥尼流就迎接他，俯伏在他脚前拜他。

But Peter raised him up, saying, Rise up; I myself am also a man.
彼得却扶起他，说，起来，我也是人。

And as he talked with him, he entered and found many who had come together.
彼得同他说着话进去，见有好些人在那里聚集，

And he said to them, You understand that it is unlawful for a man who is a Jew to join himself to or come near one of another race; yet God has shown me that I should not call any man common or unclean.
就对他们说，你们知道犹太人和别族的人亲近来往，本是不合律例的，但神已经指示我，不要说任何人是凡俗或不洁的；

Hence, even without objection I came when I had been sent for. I ask therefore, For what reason have you sent for me?
所以我一被请，就不推辞而来。现在请问，你们请我来是为什么缘故？

And Cornelius said, Four days ago to this hour I was praying at the ninth hour in my house, and behold, a man stood before me in bright clothing,
哥尼流说，前四天这个时候，我在家中守着午后三时的祷告，看哪，有一个人穿着明亮的衣服，站在我面前，说，

And he said, Cornelius, your prayer has been heard and your alms have been remembered before God.
哥尼流，你的祷告已蒙垂听，你的周济在神面前已蒙记念了。

Send therefore to Joppa and call for Simon, who is surnamed Peter; this man is lodging in the house of Simon, a tanner, by the sea.
你当打发人往约帕去，请那称呼彼得的西门来，他在海边一个硝皮匠西门的家里作客。

Therefore I sent men at once to you, and you have done nobly in coming. Now therefore we all are present before God to hear all the things that have been commanded to you by the Lord.
所以我立刻打发人到你那里，你来了很好。现在我们都在神面前，要听主所吩咐你的一切话。

And opening his mouth, Peter said, In truth I perceive that God is not a respecter of persons,
彼得就开口说，我真看出神是不偏待人的，

But in every nation he who fears Him and works righteousness is acceptable to Him.
各国中那敬畏祂，行义的人，都为祂所悦纳。

The word which He sent to the sons of Israel in announcing the gospel of peace through Jesus Christ (this One is Lord of all)
祂借着耶稣基督（祂是万人的主）传和平为福音，将这道传给以色列子孙。

You yourselves know, the word which has been spoken throughout the whole of Judea, beginning from Galilee after the baptism which John proclaimed:
你们都知道，在约翰宣传受浸以后，这话从加利利起，传遍了整个犹太，

Jesus, the One from Nazareth, how God anointed Him with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all those who were being oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.
就是神怎样以圣灵和能力膏拿撒勒人耶稣，祂周游各处行善事，医好凡被魔鬼压制的人，因为神与祂同在。

And we are witnesses of all the things which He did, both in the land of the Jews and in Jerusalem; whom also they did away with by hanging Him on a tree.
我们就是祂在犹太人之地，并耶路撒冷所行一切事的见证人；他们竟把祂挂在木头上杀了。

This One, God raised on the third day; and He has made Him manifest,
第三日神叫祂复活，使祂显现出来，

Not to all the people, but to witnesses appointed beforehand by God, to us, ones who ate and drank with Him after He rose from the dead.
不是给众百姓看，乃是给神预先所选派的见证人看，就是我们这些在祂从死人中复活以后，和祂同吃同喝的人。

And He has charged us to proclaim to the people and solemnly testify that this is the One who was designated by God to be the Judge of the living and the dead.
祂吩咐我们向百姓传道，并郑重见证祂是神所立定，要审判活人死人的那一位。

To this One all the prophets testify that through His name everyone who believes into Him will receive forgiveness of sins.
众申言者也为祂作见证说，凡信入祂的人，必借着祂的名得蒙赦罪。

While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit fell upon all those hearing the word.
彼得还说这话的时候，圣灵降在一切听道的人身上。

And the believers who were of the circumcision, as many as had accompanied Peter, were amazed, because on the Gentiles also the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out;
那些奉割礼，和彼得同来的信徒，因圣灵的恩赐也浇灌在外邦人身上，就都惊奇；

For they heard them speaking in tongues and magnifying God. Then Peter answered,
因为听见他们说方言，并尊神为大。

Can anyone forbid the water so that these would not be baptized, who have received the Holy Spirit even as we?
于是彼得说，这些人既受了圣灵，与我们一样，谁能禁止他们在水里受浸？

And he charged them to be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. Then they asked him to remain for some days.
就吩咐他们在耶稣基督的名里受浸。他们又请彼得住了一些日子。

And all the people of Judah took Uzziah, who was sixteen years old, and made him king in the place of his father Amaziah.
犹大众民选取乌西雅，立他接续他父亲亚玛谢作王，那时他年十六岁。

It was he who built Eloth and restored it to Judah after Amaziah the king slept with his fathers.
亚玛谢王与他列祖同睡之后，乌西雅修筑以禄，使其仍归犹大。

Uzziah was sixteen years old when he began to reign, and he reigned fifty-two years in Jerusalem; and his mother's name was Jechiliah, from Jerusalem.
乌西雅登基的时候年十六岁，在耶路撒冷作王五十二年；他母亲名叫耶可利雅，是耶路撒冷人。

And he did what was right in the sight of Jehovah, according to all that Amaziah his father had done.
乌西雅行耶和华眼中看为正的事，是照他父亲亚玛谢一切所行的。

And he set himself to seek after God during the days of Zechariah, who had understanding in the vision of God; and as long as he sought after Jehovah, God caused him to prosper.
通晓神异象的撒迦利亚在世的日子，乌西雅定意寻求神；他寻求耶和华，神就使他亨通。

And he went out and waged war against the Philistines. And he broke down the wall of Gath and the wall of Jabneh and the wall of Ashdod, and he built cities in the vicinity of Ashdod and among the Philistines.
他出去攻击非利士人，拆毁了迦特的城墙、雅比尼的城墙和亚实突的城墙；在非利士人中，在亚实突境内，又建筑了些城。

And God helped him against the Philistines and against the Arabians who dwelt in Gur-baal and against the Meunim.
神帮助他攻击非利士人，和住在姑珥巴力的亚拉伯人，并米乌尼人。

And the Ammonites gave tribute to Uzziah; and his fame went as far as the entrance of Egypt, for he became exceedingly strong.
亚扪人给乌西雅进贡；他的名声传到埃及的边境，因他甚是强盛。

And Uzziah built towers in Jerusalem at the Corner Gate and at the Valley Gate and at the Angle, and he fortified them.
乌西雅在耶路撒冷的角门和谷门，并城墙转弯之处，建筑城楼，使其坚固。

And he built towers in the wilderness and hewed out many cisterns, for he had much cattle, both in the lowlands and in the plain; he had farmers and vinedressers in the hills and in the fruitful fields, for he loved the soil.
又在旷野建筑望楼，挖了许多井，因他在低陆与平原的牲畜甚多；又在山地和肥美之地，有农夫和修理葡萄园的人，因为他喜爱农事。

Furthermore Uzziah had an army of soldiers that went out to war in companies according to the number of their muster done by Jeiel the scribe and Maaseiah the officer under the hand of Hananiah, one of the king's captains.
乌西雅又有军兵，照书记耶利和官长玛西雅点阅所得的数目，在王的一位将军哈拿尼雅手下，分队出战。

The whole number of heads of fathers' houses, of mighty men of valor, was two thousand six hundred.
宗族的首领，大能的勇士，总数共有二千六百人。

And under their hand was an army force of three hundred seven thousand five hundred who could make war with mighty power to help the king against the enemy.
他们手下的军兵共有三十万七千五百人，都有大能，善于争战，帮助王攻击仇敌。

And Uzziah prepared for them, for all the army, shields and spears and helmets and body armor and bows and sling stones.
乌西雅为他们，就是为全军，预备盾牌、枪、盔、甲、弓和甩石的机弦。

And in Jerusalem he made machines, invented by skillful men, to be on the towers and at the corners for shooting with arrows and great stones. And his fame went out far abroad, for he was marvelously helped until he was strong.
又在耶路撒冷制作巧匠设计的机器，安在城楼和角楼上，用以射箭并发大石。乌西雅的名声传到远方；因为他得了非常的帮助，甚是强盛。

But when he had become strong, his heart became uplifted, to his own destruction. And he trespassed against Jehovah his God and went into the temple of Jehovah to burn incense upon the incense altar.
他既强盛，就心高气傲，以致自招毁灭。他干犯耶和华他的神，进耶和华的殿，要在香坛上烧香。

And Azariah the priest went in after him, and with Azariah were eighty priests of Jehovah who were valiant men.
祭司亚撒利雅跟着他进去，还有耶和华的祭司八十人和亚撒利雅在一起，都是英勇的人。

And they withstood Uzziah the king and said to him, It does not belong to you, Uzziah, to burn incense to Jehovah, but to the priests, the sons of Aaron, who have been consecrated to burn incense. Go out of the sanctuary, for you have trespassed and there will be no honor for you from Jehovah God.
他们阻挡乌西雅王，对他说，乌西雅啊，给耶和华烧香不是你的事，乃是亚伦子孙作祭司的，就是那些分别出来烧香之人的事。你出圣所吧，因为你干犯了神，你必不会从耶和华神那里得尊荣。

Then Uzziah became angry, and in his hand was a censer for burning incense. And when he became angry with the priests, leprosy broke out on his forehead before the priests in the house of Jehovah beside the incense altar.
乌西雅就发怒，他手里拿着香炉要烧香。他向祭司发怒的时候，在耶和华殿中香坛旁众祭司面前，额上忽然发出麻风。

And Azariah the chief priest and all the priests looked at him, and there he was, leprous on his forehead; and they rushed him out of there, and he himself also hurried out to go out, for Jehovah had stricken him.
祭司长亚撒利雅和众祭司观看，见他额上发出麻风，就催他离开那里；他自己也急速出去，因为耶和华击打了他。

So Uzziah the king was a leper until the day of his death; and he dwelt in a separate house as a leper, for he was cut off from the house of Jehovah. And Jotham his son was over the king's house, judging the people of the land.
乌西雅王患麻风直到死日；他身患麻风，住在别的宫里，因他从耶和华的殿被隔离了。他儿子约坦管理王家的事，治理那地的民。

And Isaiah the prophet, the son of Amoz, wrote down the rest of the acts of Uzziah, the first and the last.
乌西雅其余的事，自始至终都是亚摩斯的儿子申言者以赛亚所记的。

And Uzziah slept with his fathers; and they buried him with his fathers in the burial field which belonged to the kings, for they said, He is a leper.
乌西雅与他列祖同睡，人将他葬在王陵的田间，与他的列祖在一起；因为人说，他是患麻风的。

And Jotham his son reigned in his place.
他儿子约坦接续他作王。

Jotham was twenty-five years old when he began to reign, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem; and his mother's name was Jerusha, the daughter of Zadok.
约坦登基的时候年二十五岁，在耶路撒冷作王十六年；他母亲名叫耶路沙，是撒督的女儿。

And he did what was right in the sight of Jehovah according to all that his father Uzziah had done; only he did not enter into the temple of Jehovah. Yet the people still acted corruptly.
约坦行耶和华眼中看为正的事，是照他父亲乌西雅一切所行的，只是不入耶和华的殿。百姓还是行败坏的事。

He built the upper gate of the house of Jehovah and built much on the wall of the Ophel.
约坦建立耶和华殿的上门，在俄斐勒城墙上多有建造。

And he built cities in the hill country of Judah, and in the forests he built fortresses and towers.
又在犹大山地建造城邑，在树林中建筑营寨和高楼。

And he fought with the king of the children of Ammon and prevailed against them. And the children of Ammon gave him that same year one hundred talents of silver and ten thousand cors of wheat and ten thousand of barley. This much did the children of Ammon pay him also in the second and third years.
约坦与亚扪人的王打仗胜了他们；当年亚扪人给他银子一百他连得、小麦一万歌珥、大麦一万歌珥；第二年、第三年也是这样向他进贡。

So Jotham became strong, because he ordered his ways before Jehovah his God.
约坦日渐强盛，因他在耶和华他的神面前坚守正道。

And the rest of the acts of Jotham and all his wars and his ways are there written in the book of the kings of Israel and Judah.
约坦其余的事和一切争战，并他所行的道路，都写在以色列和犹大诸王记上。

He was twenty-five years old when he began to reign, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem.
他登基的时候年二十五岁，在耶路撒冷作王十六年。

And Jotham slept with his fathers, and they buried him in the city of David.
约坦与他列祖同睡，人将他葬在大卫城里。

And Ahaz his son reigned in his place.
他儿子亚哈斯接续他作王。

Ahaz was twenty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem. And he did not do what was right in the sight of Jehovah as David his father had done,
亚哈斯登基的时候年二十岁，在耶路撒冷作王十六年。他不像他祖大卫行耶和华眼中看为正的事，

But he walked in the ways of the kings of Israel and even made molten images for the Baals.
却行以色列诸王所行的道路，甚至为诸巴力制作铸像。

And he burned incense in the valley of the son of Hinnom and burned his children in fire, according to the abominations of the nations that Jehovah had dispossessed before the children of Israel.
他又在欣嫩子谷烧香，并且照着耶和华从以色列人面前赶出的外邦人所行可憎的事，用火焚烧他的儿女；

And he sacrificed and burned incense on the high places and on the hills and under every flourishing tree.
并在邱坛上、山冈上、各青翠树下献祭烧香。

Therefore Jehovah his God delivered him into the hand of the king of Syria; and they struck him and carried away captive from him a great multitude. And they brought them to Damascus. And he was also delivered into the hand of the king of Israel, and he struck a great blow on him.
所以，耶和华他的神将他交在亚兰王手里。亚兰人打败他，掳了他许多的民，带到大马色去。他又被交在以色列王手里，以色列王向他大行击杀。

For Pekah the son of Remaliah slew one hundred twenty thousand in Judah on one day, all of them valiant men, because they had forsaken Jehovah, the God of their fathers.
利玛利的儿子比加，一天之内在犹大杀了十二万人，都是勇士，因为他们离弃了耶和华他们列祖的神。

And Zichri, a mighty man of Ephraim, slew Maaseiah, the king's son, and Azrikam, the ruler of the house, and Elkanah, who was second to the king.
有一个以法莲的勇士，名叫细基利，杀了王的儿子玛西雅、管理王宫的押斯利甘和宰相以利加拿。

And the children of Israel carried away captive two hundred thousand women, sons, and daughters of their brothers, and also plundered much spoil from them; and they brought the spoil to Samaria.
以色列人从他们的弟兄中，掳了妇人带儿女共有二十万，又从他们那里掠夺了许多的财物，将掠物带到撒玛利亚去了。

But a prophet of Jehovah was there, whose name was Oded; and he went out to meet the army that was coming to Samaria and said to them, Now, because Jehovah, the God of your fathers, was angry with Judah, He has given them into your hand, and you have slain them in a rage which has reached up to heaven.
但那里有耶和华的一个申言者，名叫俄德，出去迎接来撒玛利亚的军兵，对他们说，看哪，因为耶和华你们列祖的神恼怒犹大人，所以将他们交在你们手里，你们竟在怒气中杀戮了他们，这怒气已经达到天上了。

And now you intend to subjugate the children of Judah and Jerusalem as your male and female slaves. Is there not even with you anything but trespasses against Jehovah your God?
如今你们又有意强逼犹大人和耶路撒冷人作你们的奴婢，你们岂不也有得罪耶和华你们神的事么？

Now therefore listen to me, and return the captives that you have carried away captive from among your brothers, for the burning anger of Jehovah is upon you.
现在你们当听我说，要将从你们弟兄中掳来的人释放回去，因为耶和华的烈怒已经临到你们。

Then some of the heads of the children of Ephraim, Azariah the son of Jehohanan and Berechiah the son of Meshillemoth and Jehizkiah the son of Shallum and Amasa the son of Hadlai, rose up against those coming from the war;
于是，以法莲人的几个首领，就是约哈难的儿子亚撒利雅、米实利末的儿子比利家、沙龙的儿子耶希西家和哈得莱的儿子亚玛撒，起来拦挡出兵回来的人，

And they said to them, You shall not bring the captives here, for you intend to bring a trespass against Jehovah upon us to add to our sins and our trespass; for our trespass is great, and there is burning anger upon Israel.
对他们说，你们不可将这些被掳的人带到这里来，因为你们这样作，就是想要使我们得罪耶和华，加增我们的罪和过犯；我们的罪过甚大，已经有烈怒临到以色列了。

So the soldiers left the captives and the plunder before the leaders and all the assembly.
于是带兵器的人，将掳来的人口和掠来的财物，都留在众首领和全会众的面前。

And those men who have been mentioned by name rose up and took the captives, and with the spoil clothed all who were naked among them. And they clothed them and gave them sandals and fed them and gave them something to drink, and they anointed them and carried all the feeble among them on asses and brought them to Jericho, the city of palms, to their brothers. And they returned to Samaria.
以上提名的那些人就起来，将被掳的人领去；其中有赤身的，就从所掠的财物中拿出衣服来，给他们穿上。他们给这些人衣服穿，又给他们鞋子，并且给他们吃喝，用膏抹他们；其中有软弱的，就使他们骑驴，将他们送到棕树城耶利哥他们的弟兄那里；随后就回撒玛利亚去了。

At that time King Ahaz sent word to the kings of Assyria to help him,
那时，亚哈斯王差遣人去见亚述诸王，求他们帮助，

For again the Edomites came and struck Judah and carried away captives.
因为以东人又来攻击犹大，掳掠子民。

And the Philistines raided the cities of the lowlands and the south of Judah and took Beth-shemesh and Aijalon and Gederoth and Soco with its villages and Timnah with its villages and Gimzo with its villages; and they dwelt there.
非利士人也来侵占低陆和犹大南方的城邑，取了伯示麦、亚雅仑、基低罗、梭哥和属梭哥的乡村、亭拿和属亭拿的乡村、瑾锁和属瑾锁的乡村，就住在那里。

For Jehovah humbled Judah on account of Ahaz the king of Israel, for he cast off restraint in Judah and trespassed greatly against Jehovah.
因为以色列王亚哈斯在犹大放肆，大大干犯耶和华，所以耶和华使犹大卑微。

And Tilgath-pilneser the king of Assyria came against him and distressed him and did not strengthen him.
亚述王提革拉毗尼色到他那里，并没有加强他，反倒扰害他。

For Ahaz took away a portion of the house of Jehovah and of the house of the king and the officials and gave it to the king of Assyria, but it did not help him.
亚哈斯从耶和华殿里和王宫中，并首领家内取了一部分财宝给亚述王，这也无济于事。

And at the time of his distress, he added to his trespass against Jehovah, this same King Ahaz;
这亚哈斯王在急难的时候，越发干犯耶和华；

For he sacrificed to the gods of Damascus, which had struck him, for he said, Because the gods of the kings of Syria helped them, to them will I sacrifice, so that they will help me. But they were the ruin of him and of all Israel.
他向那些攻击他的大马色之神献祭，说，因为亚兰诸王的神帮助他们，我也献祭与它们，它们好帮助我。但那些神使他和以色列众人倾败了。

And Ahaz gathered together the vessels of the house of God and cut the vessels of the house of God into pieces, and he shut up the doors of the house of Jehovah and made himself altars in every corner in Jerusalem.
亚哈斯将神殿里的器皿都聚了来，捣毁了，又封锁耶和华殿的门，并且在耶路撒冷各处的拐角为自己筑坛。

And in every city of Judah he made high places for burning incense to other gods and provoked Jehovah, the God of his fathers, to anger.
他又在犹大各城建造邱坛，向别神烧香，惹动耶和华他列祖之神的怒气。

Now the rest of his acts and all his ways, the first and the last, are there written in the book of the kings of Judah and Israel.
亚哈斯其余的事，和他所行的一切道路，自始至终都写在犹大和以色列诸王记上。

And Ahaz slept with his fathers; and they buried him in the city, in Jerusalem, for they did not bring him to the tombs of the kings of Israel.
亚哈斯与他列祖同睡，葬在耶路撒冷城里，没有送入以色列诸王的坟墓中。
