O God of vengeance, O Jehovah, / O God of vengeance, shine forth!
耶和华啊，你是伸冤的神；伸冤的神啊，求你发出光来！ Lift Yourself up, O Judge of the earth; / Render the reward upon the proud.
审判全地的主啊，求你挺身而立，使骄傲人受应得的报应。 How long, O Jehovah, will the wicked, / How long will the wicked exult?
耶和华啊，恶人欢跃要到几时呢？要到几时呢？ They burst out; they speak arrogantly; / All the workers of iniquity boast.
他们絮絮叨叨，说狂妄的话；一切作孽的人都夸耀自己。 They crush Your people, O Jehovah, / And afflict Your inheritance.
耶和华啊，他们强压你的百姓，苦害你的产业。 They slay the widow and the stranger, / And they murder orphans.
他们杀死寡妇和寄居的，又杀害孤儿。 And they say, Jehovah does not see, / And the God of Jacob does not consider.
他们说，耶和华必看不见，雅各的神必不思念。 Consider, you senseless ones among the people; / And you foolish ones, when will you become wise?
你们民间的无知人当思想；你们愚顽人，到几时才有智慧呢？ He who planted the ear, does He not hear? / And He who formed the eye, does He not see?
设置耳朵的，难道自己听不见么？造作眼睛的，难道自己看不见么？ He who disciplines the nations, / He who teaches man knowledge, does He not reprove?
管教列邦的，就是教导人知识的，难道自己不责备人么？ Jehovah knows the thoughts of man, / That they are vanity.
耶和华知道人的意念是虚妄的。 Blessed is the man / Whom You discipline, O Jehovah, / And teach out of Your law;
耶和华啊，你所管教，用律法所教训的人，是有福的； That You may give him rest from the days of evil / Until the pit is dug for the wicked.
你使他在遭难的日子，得享安息，等到为恶人预备的坑挖好。 For Jehovah will not abandon His people, / Nor will He forsake His inheritance.
因为耶和华必不丢弃祂的百姓，也不离弃祂的产业。 For judgment will return unto righteousness, / And all the upright in heart will follow it.
审判要归向公义，心里正直的必都随从。 Who will rise up for me against the evildoers? / Who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity?
谁肯为我起来攻击作恶的？谁肯为我站起抵挡作孽的？ Unless Jehovah had been my help, / My soul would have soon dwelt in silence.
若不是耶和华帮助我，我的魂早已住在寂静之中了。 When I said, My foot has slipped, / Your lovingkindness, O Jehovah, upheld me.
我正说我失了脚，耶和华啊，那时你的慈爱扶持了我。 When my disquieting thoughts within me are many, / Your comfortings delight my soul.
我里面思虑繁多，那时你的安慰使我的魂欢乐。 Shall the seat of destruction be united with You, / Which devises trouble through its statutes?
那借着律例制造祸患，在位上行毁坏的，岂能与你相交么？ They band together against the soul of the righteous man / And condemn innocent blood.
他们结党攻击义人的性命，将无辜的人定为死罪。 But Jehovah has been my high tower, / And my God the rock of my refuge;
但耶和华向来作我的高台，我的神作了我投靠的磐石。 And He will return their iniquity upon them / And destroy them in their own evil; / Jehovah our God will destroy them.
祂叫他们的罪孽归到他们身上；祂要因他们的恶灭绝他们；耶和华我们的神要把他们灭绝。 |
