大卫的诗，交与歌咏长；调用第八音。 Save, O Jehovah; for the faithful man is no more, / For the trustworthy have vanished from among the sons of men.
耶和华啊，求你拯救，因虔诚人断绝了，忠信人已经从世人中间消失了。 Each man speaks falsehood with his neighbor; / With flattering lips and a double heart they speak.
人人向邻舍说虚谎的话；他们说话，是嘴唇油滑，心口不一。 May Jehovah cut off all the flattering lips, / The tongue speaking great things,
凡油滑的嘴唇，说夸大话的舌头，愿耶和华剪除； Those who said, With our tongue we will prevail; / Our lips are our own: Who is our lord?
他们曾说，我们必能以舌头得胜；我们的嘴唇是我们自己的；谁能作我们的主呢？ Because of the devastation of the poor, because of the sighing of the needy, / I will now arise, says Jehovah; / I will set him in the safety that he longs for.
耶和华说，因为困苦人所受的蹂躏，因为穷乏人的叹息，我现在要起来，把他安置在他所切慕的稳妥之地。 The words of Jehovah are pure words, / Silver refined in a furnace on the earth, / Purified seven times.
耶和华的言语，是纯净的言语，如同地上炉中炼过的银子，精炼过七次。 You, O Jehovah, will keep them; / You will guard them from this generation forever.
耶和华啊，你必保守他们；你必护卫他们永远脱离这世代的人。 The wicked go about all around, / While vileness is exalted among the sons of men.
卑贱的事在世人中被高举，恶人就到处游行。 |
