Author:
Moses (Rom. 10:19, quoting Deut. 32:21; Neh. 13:1, referring to Deut. 23:3; Luke 20:28, referring to Deut. 25:5), the author of the five books of the Law (31:9, 24; Luke 24:27, 44; John 1:45; 5:46; Acts 28:23; 2 Cor. 3:15). The final chapter (ch. 34) was probably written by someone other than Moses.
