随后，耶稣被那灵引到旷野，受魔鬼的试诱。
Then Jesus was led up into the wilderness by the Spirit to be tempted by the devil.

祂禁食了四十昼四十夜，后来就饿了。
And when He had fasted forty days and forty nights, afterward He became hungry.

那试诱者进前来，对祂说，你若是神的儿子，就叫这些石头变成饼吧。
And the tempter came and said to Him, If You are the Son of God, speak that these stones may become loaves of bread.

耶稣却回答说，经上记着，“人活着不是单靠食物，乃是靠神口里所出的一切话。”
But He answered and said, It is written, “Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that proceeds out through the mouth of God.”

而后魔鬼带祂进了圣城，叫祂站在殿翼上，
Then the devil took Him into the holy city and set Him on the wing of the temple,

对祂说，你若是神的儿子，就跳下去吧；因为经上记着，“主要为你吩咐祂的使者，用手托着你，免得你的脚碰在石头上。”
And said to Him, If You are the Son of God, cast Yourself down; for it is written, “To His angels He shall give charge concerning You, and on their hands they shall bear You up, lest You strike Your foot against a stone.”

耶稣对他说，经上又记着，“不可试探主你的神。”
Jesus said to him, Again, it is written, “You shall not test the Lord your God.”

魔鬼又带祂上到一座极高的山，将世上的万国，和万国的荣耀，都指给祂看，
Again, the devil took Him to a very high mountain and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory.

对祂说，你若俯伏拜我，我就把这一切都给你。
And he said to Him, All these will I give You if You will fall down and worship me.

耶稣说，撒但，退去吧！因为经上记着，“当拜主你的神，单要事奉祂。”
Then Jesus said to him, Go away, Satan! For it is written, “You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only shall you serve.”

于是魔鬼离开了耶稣，看哪，有天使进前来服事祂。
Then the devil left Him, and behold, angels came and ministered to Him.

耶稣听见约翰下了监，就退到加利利去；
Now when He heard that John was delivered up, He withdrew into Galilee.

又离开拿撒勒，来住在西布伦和拿弗他利境内，靠海的迦百农。
And leaving Nazareth, He came and dwelt in Capernaum, which is beside the sea in the borders of Zebulun and Naphtali,

这是要应验那借着申言者以赛亚所说的，说，
In order that what was spoken through Isaiah the prophet might be fulfilled, saying,

“西布伦地和拿弗他利地，沿海的路，约但河外，外邦人的加利利：
“Land of Zebulun and land of Naphtali, the way to the sea, beyond the Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles:

那坐在黑暗中的百姓，看见了大光；并且向那些坐在死亡的境域和阴影中的人，有光出现，照着他们。”
The people sitting in darkness have seen a great light; and to those sitting in the region and shadow of death, to them light has risen.”

从那时候，耶稣开始传道，说，你们要悔改，因为诸天的国已经临近了。
From that time Jesus began to proclaim and to say, Repent, for the kingdom of the heavens has drawn near.

耶稣在加利利海边行走，看见两个兄弟，就是那称呼彼得的西门，和他的兄弟安得烈，向海里撒网；他们本是渔夫。
And while He was walking beside the Sea of Galilee, He saw two brothers, Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea, for they were fishermen.

耶稣对他们说，来跟从我，我要使你们作得人的渔夫。
And He said to them, Come after Me, and I will make you fishers of men.

他们就立刻撇下网，跟从了祂。
And immediately leaving the nets, they followed Him.

祂从那里往前走，看见另外两个兄弟，就是西庇太的儿子雅各和他的兄弟约翰，正同他们的父亲西庇太在船上补网，祂就呼召他们。
And going on from there, He saw another two brothers, James the son of Zebedee and John his brother, in the boat with Zebedee their father, mending their nets; and He called them.

他们立刻撇下船和他们的父亲，跟从了祂。
And immediately leaving the boat and their father, they followed Him.

耶稣走遍加利利，在他们的会堂里施教，传扬国度的福音，医治百姓各样的疾病，和各种的症候。
And Jesus went about in all of Galilee, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom and healing every disease and every sickness among the people.

祂的名声就传遍了叙利亚；那里的人把一切患病的，就是为各样疾病和疼痛所困迫的，以及鬼附的、癫痫的和瘫痪的，都带到祂那里，祂就治好了他们。
And the report concerning Him went out into all of Syria; and they brought to Him all who were ill, those afflicted with various diseases and torments and those possessed by demons and epileptics and paralytics; and He healed them.

并且有好多群众从加利利、低加波利、耶路撒冷、犹太和约但河外，来跟着祂。
And great crowds followed Him from Galilee and Decapolis and Jerusalem and Judea and from beyond the Jordan.

神赐福给挪亚和他的儿子，对他们说，你们要繁衍增多，遍满了地。
And God blessed Noah and his sons and said to them, Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth.

地上的各样走兽和空中的各样飞鸟，以及地上一切的爬物并海里一切的鱼，都必畏惧、惊怕你们；这一切都交在你们手中了。
And the fear of you and the terror of you shall be upon every animal of the earth and upon every bird of heaven, on everything that creeps on the ground and on all the fish of the sea; into your hand they are delivered.

凡活着的动物都可以作你们的食物；这一切我都赐给你们，如同我将菜蔬赐给你们一样。
Every moving thing that lives shall be food for you; just as I gave you the green herb, so I have given you everything.

惟独肉带着生命，就是带着血，你们不可吃。
But flesh with its life, that is, its blood, you shall not eat.

你们生命的血，我必追讨。向兽，我必追讨；向人，向各人的弟兄，我也必追讨人的命。
And indeed your lifeblood I will require; from every animal I will require it. And from every man, from every man's brother, I will require the life of man.

凡流人血的，他的血也必被人所流，因为神造人是按自己的形像造的。
Whoever sheds man's blood, / By man shall his blood be shed, / For in the image of God / He made man.

你们要繁衍增多，在地上孳生繁增。
And you, be fruitful and multiply; / Abound on the earth and multiply in it.

神对挪亚和同他一起的儿子说，
Then God spoke to Noah and to his sons with him, saying,

看哪，我与你们和你们的后裔立约，
And I Myself now establish My covenant with you and with your seed after you

并与你们这里的一切活物，就是飞鸟、牲畜、走兽，凡从方舟出来地上的活物立约。
And with every living animal that is with you: the birds, the cattle, and every animal of the earth with you, of all that came out of the ark, every animal of the earth.

我与你们立约，凡有血肉的，不再被洪水灭绝，也不再有洪水毁坏地了。
And I establish My covenant with you, that never again will all flesh be cut off by the waters of the flood, and never again will there be a flood to destroy the earth.

神说，这是我与你们，并你们这里各样活物所立之约的记号，直到万代：
And God said, This is the sign of the covenant which I am making between Me and you and every living animal that is with you, for perpetual generations:

我把虹放在云彩中，这就作我与地立约的记号。
I set My bow in the clouds, and it shall be for a sign of a covenant between Me and the earth.

我使云彩遮地的时候，必有虹现在云彩中；
And when I bring clouds over the earth, and the bow is seen in the clouds,

我便记念我与你们，和各样有血肉的活物所立的约，水就再不泛滥，毁灭一切有血肉的物了。
I will remember My covenant which is between Me and you and every living animal of all flesh, and never again will the waters become a flood to destroy all flesh.

虹必现在云彩中，我必观看，记念我与地上各样有血肉的活物所立的永约。
And the bow will be in the clouds, and I will look upon it to remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living animal of all flesh that is upon the earth.

神对挪亚说，这就是我与地上一切有血肉之物立约的记号。
And God said to Noah, This is the sign of the covenant which I have established between Me and all flesh that is upon the earth.

出方舟挪亚的儿子是闪、含、雅弗；含是迦南的父亲。
Now the sons of Noah who came forth from the ark were Shem and Ham and Japheth. And Ham was the father of Canaan.

这是挪亚的三个儿子，他们的后裔散布在全地。
These three were the sons of Noah, and from these the whole earth was spread over.

挪亚作起农夫来，栽了一个葡萄园。
And Noah began to be a farmer, and he planted a vineyard.

他喝了园中的酒便醉了，在帐棚里赤着身子。
And he drank of the wine and became drunk. And he uncovered himself inside his tent.

迦南的父亲含看见他父亲赤身，就到外边告诉他的两个弟兄。
And Ham, the father of Canaan, saw the nakedness of his father and told his two brothers outside.

于是闪和雅弗拿件衣服搭在肩上，倒退着进去，遮盖他们父亲的赤身；他们背着脸，就没有看见父亲的赤身。
And Shem and Japheth took a garment and laid it upon both their shoulders, and they walked backward and covered the nakedness of their father. And their faces were turned backward, so that they did not see their father's nakedness.

挪亚醒了酒，知道小儿子向他所作的事，
And Noah awoke from his wine and learned what his younger son had done to him.

就说，迦南当受咒诅，必给他弟兄作奴仆的奴仆。
And he said, Cursed be Canaan: / A servant of servants / Shall he be to his brothers.

又说，耶和华闪的神，是当受颂赞的；愿迦南作闪的奴仆。
And he said, Blessed be Jehovah, / The God of Shem; / And let Canaan be his servant.

愿神使雅弗扩张，使他住在闪的帐棚里；又愿迦南作他的奴仆。
May God enlarge Japheth, / And let him dwell in the tents of Shem, / And let Canaan be his servant.

洪水以后，挪亚又活了三百五十年。
And Noah lived after the flood three hundred fifty years.

挪亚共活了九百五十岁就死了。
And all the days of Noah were nine hundred fifty years, and he died.

挪亚的儿子闪、含、雅弗的后代记在下面。洪水以后，他们都生了儿子。
Now these are the generations of the sons of Noah, of Shem, Ham, and Japheth; and sons were born to them after the flood.

雅弗的儿子是歌篾、玛各、玛代、雅完、土巴、米设、提拉。
The sons of Japheth: Gomer and Magog and Madai and Javan and Tubal and Meshech and Tiras.

歌篾的儿子是亚实基拿、利法、陀迦玛。
And the sons of Gomer: Ashkenaz and Riphath and Togarmah.

雅完的子孙是以利沙、他施、基提人、罗单人。
And the sons of Javan: Elishah and Tarshish, Kittim and Rodanim.

这些人的后裔，在列国的岛屿和沿海一带分地居住，各按各的方言、家族、邦国。
From these the islands and coastal regions of the nations were separated into their lands, every one according to his tongue, according to their families, in their nations.

含的儿子是古实、麦西、弗、迦南。
And the sons of Ham: Cush and Mizraim and Put and Canaan.

古实的儿子是西巴、哈腓拉、撒弗他、拉玛、撒弗提迦。拉玛的儿子是示巴、底但。
And the sons of Cush: Seba and Havilah and Sabtah and Raamah and Sabtecha. And the sons of Raamah: Sheba and Dedan.

古实又生宁录，他是地上最早的勇士。
And Cush begot Nimrod: He began to be a mighty one on the earth.

他在耶和华面前是个英勇的猎户，所以有话说，像宁录在耶和华面前是个英勇的猎户。
He was a mighty hunter before Jehovah; therefore it is said, Like Nimrod, a mighty hunter before Jehovah.

他国的起头是巴别、以力、亚甲、甲尼，都在示拿地。
And the beginning of his kingdom was Babel and Erech and Akkad and Calneh, in the land of Shinar.

他从那地出来往亚述去，建造尼尼微、利河伯、迦拉，
From that land he went into Assyria and built Nineveh and Rehoboth-ir and Calah

和尼尼微、迦拉中间的利鲜，就是那大城。
And Resen between Nineveh and Calah, that is, the great city.

麦西生路低人、亚拿米人、利哈比人、拿弗土希人、
And Mizraim begot the Ludim and the Anamim and the Lehabim and the Naphtuhim

帕斯鲁细人、迦斯路希人、迦斐托人；从迦斯路希人出来的有非利士人。
And the Pathrusim and the Casluhim, from which came the Philistines, and the Caphtorim.

迦南生长子西顿，又生赫、
And Canaan begot Sidon his firstborn and Heth

和耶布斯人、亚摩利人、革迦撒人、
And the Jebusites and the Amorites and the Girgashites

希未人、亚基人、西尼人、
And the Hivites and the Arkites and the Sinites

亚瓦底人、洗玛利人、哈马人，后来迦南的诸族散布出去了。
And the Arvadites and the Zemarites and the Hamathites, and afterward the families of the Canaanites were spread out.

迦南的境界是从西顿向基拉耳的路上，直到迦萨，又向所多玛、蛾摩拉、押玛、洗扁的路上，直到拉沙。
And the territory of the Canaanites was from Sidon, as you go toward Gerar, as far as Gaza, and as you go toward Sodom and Gomorrah and Admah and Zeboiim, as far as Lasha.

这些就是含的子孙，各按他们的家族、方言、地土、邦国。
These are the sons of Ham, according to their families, according to their tongues, in their lands, in their nations.

雅弗的哥哥闪，是希伯所有子孙之祖，他也生了儿子。
And also to Shem, the father of all the children of Eber, the elder brother of Japheth, children were born.

闪的儿子是以拦、亚述、亚法撒、路德、亚兰。
The sons of Shem: Elam and Asshur and Arpachshad and Lud and Aram.

亚兰的儿子是乌斯、户勒、基帖、玛施。
And the sons of Aram: Uz and Hul and Gether and Mash.

亚法撒生沙拉；沙拉生希伯。
And Arpachshad begot Shelah, and Shelah begot Eber.

希伯生了两个儿子，一个名叫法勒，因为那时人才分地居住，法勒的兄弟名叫约坍。
And to Eber were born two sons: The name of the one was Peleg, for in his days the earth was divided; and his brother's name was Joktan.

约坍生亚摩答、沙列、哈萨玛非、耶拉、
And Joktan begot Almodad and Sheleph and Hazarmaveth and Jerah

哈多兰、乌萨、德拉、
And Hadoram and Uzal and Diklah

俄巴路、亚比玛利、示巴、
And Obal and Abimael and Sheba

阿斐、哈腓拉、约巴，这些都是约坍的儿子。
And Ophir and Havilah and Jobab; all these were the sons of Joktan.

他们所住的地方是从米沙直到西发，东边的山地。
And their dwelling was from Mesha, as you go toward Sephar, the hill country of the east.

这些就是闪的子孙，各按他们的家族、方言、地土、邦国。
These are the sons of Shem, according to their families, according to their tongues, in their lands, according to their nations.

这些都是挪亚三个儿子的家族，各按他们的族系、邦国。洪水以后他们在地上分为邦国。
These are the families of the sons of Noah, according to their generations, in their nations; and from these the nations were separated on the earth after the flood.

那时，全地的人只有一种语言，都说同样的话语。
And the whole earth had one language and the same speech.

他们往东边迁移的时候，在示拿地发现一片平原，就住在那里。
And as they journeyed east, they found a plain in the land of Shinar; and they dwelt there.

他们彼此商量说，来吧，我们作砖，把砖烧透。他们就拿砖当石头，又拿石漆当灰泥。
And they said to one another, Come, let us make bricks and burn them thoroughly. And they had brick for stone, and they had tar for mortar.

他们说，来吧，我们建造一座城和一座塔，塔顶通天；我们要宣扬我们的名，免得我们分散在全地上。
And they said, Come, let us build ourselves a city and a tower whose top is in the heavens; and let us make a name for ourselves, lest we be scattered over the surface of the whole earth.

耶和华降临，要看看世人所建造的城和塔。
And Jehovah came down to see the city and the tower which the children of men had built.

耶和华说，看哪，他们是一样的人民，都说一样的语言；这不过是他们开头要作的事，以后他们所图谋要作的，就没有能阻挡的了。
And Jehovah said, Behold, they are one people, and they all have one language; and this is only the beginning of what they will do; and now nothing which they purpose to do will be kept from them.

来吧，我们下去，在那里变乱他们的语言，使他们的言语彼此不通。
Come, let Us go down and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech.

于是耶和华使他们从那里分散在全地上；他们就停工，不造那城了。
So Jehovah scattered them from there over the surface of all the earth, and they ceased building the city.

因为耶和华在那里变乱全地人的语言，使众人分散在全地上，所以那城名叫巴别。
Therefore its name was called Babel, because there Jehovah confounded the language of all the earth, and from there Jehovah scattered them over the surface of all the earth.
