他们行路上耶路撒冷去，耶稣在他们前头走，他们就希奇，跟从的人也害怕。祂又把十二个门徒带到一边，把自己将要遭遇的事，告诉他们说，
Now they were on the road, going up to Jerusalem, and Jesus led the way before them. And they were amazed, and those who followed were afraid. And He took the twelve aside again and began to tell them the things that were about to happen to Him:

看哪，我们上耶路撒冷去，人子要被交给祭司长和经学家，他们要定祂死罪，又要把祂交给外邦人，
Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be delivered to the chief priests and to the scribes. And they will condemn Him to death and deliver Him to the Gentiles,

他们要戏弄祂，向祂吐唾沫，鞭打祂，杀害祂，过了三天，祂必复活。
And they will mock Him and spit at Him and scourge Him, and they will kill Him. And after three days He will rise.

西庇太的儿子雅各和约翰到耶稣跟前来，对祂说，夫子，我们无论向你求什么，愿你给我们作。
And James and John, the sons of Zebedee, came to Him, saying to Him, Teacher, we want You to do for us whatever we ask You.

祂说，要我为你们作什么？
And He said to them, What do you want Me to do for you?

他们说，赐我们在你的荣耀里，一个坐在你右边，一个坐在你左边。
And they said to Him, Grant to us to sit, one on Your right and one on Your left, in Your glory.

耶稣说，你们不知道所求的是什么。我所喝的杯，你们能喝么？我所受的浸，你们能受么？
But Jesus said to them, You do not know what you are asking. Are you able to drink the cup which I drink, or to be baptized with the baptism with which I am baptized?

他们说，我们能。耶稣说，我所喝的杯，你们必要喝；我所受的浸，你们必要受。
And they said to Him, We are able. And Jesus said to them, The cup which I drink you shall drink, and with the baptism with which I am baptized, you shall be baptized.

只是坐在我的左右，不是我可以赐的，乃是为谁预备的，就赐给谁。
But to sit on My right or on My left is not Mine to give, but it is for those for whom it has been prepared.

那十个听见，就开始恼怒雅各和约翰。
And when the ten heard this, they began to be indignant concerning James and John.

耶稣叫他们来，对他们说，你们知道外邦人有尊为君王的，为主治理他们，也有大臣操权管辖他们。
And Jesus called them to Him and said to them, You know that those who are esteemed as rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their great ones exercise authority over them.

但你们中间不是这样；反倒你们中间无论谁想要为大，就必作你们的仆役；
But it is not so among you; but whoever wants to become great among you shall be your servant,

你们中间无论谁想要为首，就必作众人的奴仆。
And whoever wants to be first among you shall be the slave of all.

因为人子来，不是要受人的服事，乃是要服事人，并且要舍命，作多人的赎价。
For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve and to give His life as a ransom for many.

他们到了耶利哥；耶稣同门徒并大批的群众，出耶利哥的时候，有一个讨饭的瞎子，是底买的儿子巴底买，坐在路旁。
And they came to Jericho. And as He was going out from Jericho, as well as His disciples and a large crowd, the son of Timaeus, Bartimaeus, a blind beggar, sat by the road.

他听见是拿撒勒人耶稣，就喊着说，大卫的子孙耶稣，可怜我吧！
And when he heard that it was Jesus the Nazarene, he began to cry out and say, Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!

有许多人责备他，叫他安静，他却越发喊着：大卫的子孙，可怜我吧！
And many rebuked him so that he would be silent, but he cried out much more, Son of David, have mercy on me!

耶稣就站住，说，叫过他来。他们就叫那瞎子，对他说，放心，起来，祂叫你了。
And Jesus, standing still, said, Call him here. And they called the blind man, saying to him, Take courage. Rise. He is calling you.

瞎子就丢下衣服，跳起来，走到耶稣那里。
And throwing his garment aside, he leaped up and came to Jesus.

耶稣说，你要我为你作什么？瞎子说，拉波尼，我要能看见。
And Jesus answered him and said, What do you want Me to do for you? And the blind man said to Him, Rabboni, that I may receive my sight!

耶稣说，去吧，你的信救了你。他立刻看见了，就在路上跟随耶稣。
And Jesus said to him, Go; your faith has healed you. And immediately he received his sight and followed Him on the road.

正月间，以色列人全会众到了寻的旷野，百姓就住在加低斯；米利暗死在那里，就葬在那里。
Then the children of Israel, the whole assembly, came to the wilderness of Zin in the first month, and the people stayed at Kadesh; and Miriam died there and was buried there.

会众没有水喝，就聚集攻击摩西、亚伦。
And there was no water for the assembly, and they gathered themselves together against Moses and against Aaron.

百姓向摩西争闹说，巴不得我们的弟兄死在耶和华面前的时候，我们也死了！
And the people contended with Moses and spoke, saying, If only we had expired when our brothers expired before Jehovah!

你们为何把耶和华的会众领到这旷野，使我们和牲畜都死在这里？
Why then have you brought the congregation of Jehovah into this wilderness for us and our livestock to die there?

你们为何把我们从埃及带上来，领我们到这坏地方？这地方不好撒种，也没有无花果树、葡萄树、石榴树，甚至没有水喝。
Why then did you bring us up out of Egypt, to bring us to this wretched place? It is not a place of grain or figs or vines or pomegranates, and there is not even water to drink.

摩西、亚伦离开会众，到会幕门口，面伏于地；耶和华的荣光向他们显现。
And Moses and Aaron went from before the congregation to the entrance of the Tent of Meeting and fell upon their faces, and the glory of Jehovah appeared to them.

耶和华对摩西说，
Then Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,

你拿着杖，和你的哥哥亚伦招聚会众，在他们眼前吩咐磐石发出水来；这样，你就为他们使水从磐石中流出来，给会众和他们的牲畜喝。
Take the rod, and gather the assembly, you and Aaron your brother, and speak to the rock before their eyes, so that it yields its water. Thus you shall bring forth water for them out of the rock and give the assembly and their livestock something to drink.

于是摩西照耶和华所吩咐的，从耶和华面前取了杖去。
And Moses took the rod from before Jehovah, as He had commanded him.

摩西、亚伦就招聚会众到磐石前；摩西对他们说，你们这些背叛的人听我说，我们要为你们使水从这磐石中流出来么？
And Moses and Aaron gathered the congregation together before the rock, and he said to them, Listen now, you rebels: Shall we bring forth water for you out of this rock?

摩西举手，用杖击打磐石两下，就有许多水流出来，会众和他们的牲畜都喝了。
Then Moses lifted up his hand and struck the rock with his rod twice; and abundant water came forth, and the assembly and their livestock drank.

耶和华对摩西、亚伦说，因为你们不信我，不在以色列人眼前尊我为圣，所以你们必不得领这会众进我所赐给他们的地去。
And Jehovah said to Moses and Aaron, Because you did not believe in Me, to sanctify Me in the sight of the children of Israel, therefore you shall not bring this congregation into the land which I have given them.

这就是米利巴水；以色列人在那里向耶和华争闹，耶和华就在他们中间显为圣。
These are the waters of Meribah, where the children of Israel contended with Jehovah, and He was sanctified among them.

摩西从加低斯差遣使者去见以东王，说，你的弟兄以色列人这样说，你知道我们所遭遇的一切艰难，
Now Moses sent messengers from Kadesh to the king of Edom: Thus says your brother Israel, You know all the hardship that has befallen us;

就是我们的列祖如何下到埃及，我们在埃及久住；埃及人如何苦待我们和我们的列祖，
How our fathers went down to Egypt, and we dwelt in Egypt a long time; and the Egyptians ill-treated us and our fathers;

我们哀求耶和华的时候，祂听了我们的声音，差遣一位使者把我们从埃及领出来。如今，我们在你边界上的城加低斯。
And when we cried to Jehovah, He heard our voice and sent an Angel and brought us forth out of Egypt; and now we are in Kadesh, a city on the edge of your border.

求你让我们从你的地经过。我们不走田间和葡萄园，也不喝井里的水，只走王道，不偏左右，直到过了你的境界。
Please let us pass through your land. We will not pass through field or through vineyard, nor will we drink water from any well; we will go along the King's Highway, not turning aside to the right or to the left, until we pass through your territory.

以东王说，你不可从我的地经过，不然我要带刀出去攻击你。
But Edom said to him, You shall not pass through my territory, or else I will come out against you with the sword.

以色列人说，我们要走大道上去；我们和牲畜若喝你的水，必给你价值。不求别的，只求你让我们步行过去。
Then the children of Israel said to him, We will go up by the highway, and if I and my livestock drink some of your water, then I will pay its price. Allow me only this one thing, to pass through on foot.

以东王说，你们不可经过；他就率领许多人出来，要用强硬的手攻击他们。
However he said, You shall not pass through. And Edom came out against him with a large number of people and with a mighty hand.

这样，以东王不肯让以色列人从他的境界过去；于是他们转去，离开他。
So Edom refused to give Israel passage through his territory, and Israel turned away from him.

以色列人全会众从加低斯起行，到了何珥山。
Now when they journeyed from Kadesh, the children of Israel, the whole assembly, came to Mount Hor.

耶和华在以东地边界的何珥山上对摩西、亚伦说，
Then Jehovah spoke to Moses and to Aaron at Mount Hor, on the border of the land of Edom, saying,

亚伦要归到他本民那里，他必不得进我所赐给以色列人的地，因为在米利巴水的事上，你们违背了我的话。
Aaron shall be gathered to his people, for he shall not enter into the land which I have given to the children of Israel, because you rebelled against My word at the waters of Meribah.

你带亚伦和他的儿子以利亚撒上何珥山，
Take Aaron and Eleazar his son, and bring them up Mount Hor;

把亚伦的圣衣脱下来，给他儿子以利亚撒穿上；亚伦必死在那里，归他本民。
And strip Aaron of his garments and put them upon Eleazar his son; so Aaron will be gathered to his people, and will die there.

摩西就照耶和华所吩咐的行，三人当着全会众的眼前上了何珥山。
So Moses did just as Jehovah had commanded, and they went up Mount Hor in the sight of the whole assembly.

摩西把亚伦的圣衣脱下来，给他的儿子以利亚撒穿上，亚伦就死在山顶那里。于是摩西和以利亚撒下了山。
And when Moses had stripped Aaron of his garments and put them on Eleazar his son, Aaron died there on the top of the mountain. Then Moses and Eleazar came down from the mountain.

全会众见亚伦已经死了，以色列全家便为亚伦哀哭了三十天。
And when the whole assembly saw that Aaron had expired, all the house of Israel wept for Aaron thirty days.

住南地的迦南人亚拉得王，听说以色列人从亚他林路来，就和以色列人争战，掳了他们几个人。
And when the Canaanite, the king of Arad, who dwelt in the Negev, heard that Israel was coming by the way of Atharim, he fought against Israel and took some of them captive.

以色列人向耶和华许愿说，你若将这民交付我们手里，我们就要把他们的城邑尽行毁灭。
And Israel made a vow to Jehovah and said, If You will indeed deliver this people into my hand, then I will utterly destroy their cities.

耶和华听了以色列人的呼声，把迦南人交付他们，他们就把迦南人和迦南人的城邑尽行毁灭。那地方的名便叫何珥玛。
And Jehovah listened to the voice of Israel and delivered up the Canaanites, and they utterly destroyed them and their cities. Thus the name of the place was called Hormah.

他们从何珥山起行，沿着通往红海的路走，要绕过以东地。百姓在这路上，心中烦躁，
Then they journeyed from Mount Hor by the way to the Red Sea, to go around the land of Edom; and the people became impatient on the way.

就毁谤神和摩西说，你们为什么把我们从埃及领上来，使我们死在旷野？这里没有粮，没有水，我们的心厌恶这淡薄的食物。
And the people spoke against God and against Moses, Why have you brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? For there is no food and there is no water; and our soul loathes this light bread.

于是耶和华打发火蛇进入百姓中间，蛇就咬他们，以致以色列中死了许多人。
Then Jehovah sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people, so that many people of Israel died.

百姓到摩西那里，说，我们有罪了，因为我们毁谤了耶和华和你；求你向耶和华祷告，叫这些蛇离开我们。于是摩西为百姓祷告。
And the people came to Moses and said, We have sinned, because we have spoken against Jehovah and against you; pray to Jehovah, that He may take away the serpents from us. So Moses prayed for the people.

耶和华对摩西说，你制造一条火蛇，挂在杆上；凡被咬的，一看这蛇，就必得活。
Then Jehovah said to Moses, Make a fiery serpent, and set it on a pole; and everyone who is bitten, when he sees it, shall live.

摩西便制造一条铜蛇，挂在杆上；蛇若咬了什么人，那人一望这铜蛇就活了。
And Moses made a bronze serpent and set it on the pole; and if a serpent had bitten any man, when he looked at the bronze serpent, he lived.

以色列人起行，安营在阿伯。
And the children of Israel journeyed and encamped at Oboth.

又从阿伯起行，安营在以耶亚巴琳，与摩押相对的旷野，向着日出之地。
And they journeyed from Oboth and encamped at Iye-abarim in the wilderness which faces Moab toward the sunrise.

从那里起行，安营在撒烈谷。
From there they journeyed and encamped in the valley of Zered.

从那里起行，安营在亚嫩河的那一边；这亚嫩河是在旷野，从亚摩利的境界流出来的；原来亚嫩河是摩押的边界，在摩押和亚摩利人交界的地方。
From there they journeyed and encamped on the other side of the Arnon, which is in the wilderness that comes out of the border of the Amorites; for the Arnon is the border of Moab, between Moab and the Amorites.

所以耶和华的战记上说，苏法的哇哈伯与亚嫩河的众谷，
Therefore it is said in the Book of the Wars of Jehovah, Waheb in Suphah, / And the valleys of the Arnon,

并众谷的斜坡，向亚珥城坐落之处伸展，靠近摩押的境界。
And the slope of the valleys / That inclines toward the seat of Ar / And leans toward the border of Moab.

以色列人从那里起行，到了比珥；从前耶和华对摩西说，招聚百姓，我好给他们水喝，说的就是这井。
And from there they journeyed to Beer; that is the well where Jehovah said to Moses, Gather the people together, and I will give them water.

当时，以色列人唱这歌说，井啊，涌上水来！你们要向这井歌唱！
Then Israel sang this song: Spring up, O well! Sing to it!

这井是众首领和民中的尊贵人，用权杖用扶杖所挖所掘的。以色列人从旷野往玛他拿去，
The well, which the leaders sank, / Which the nobles of the people dug, / With the scepter, with their staffs. And from the wilderness they journeyed to Mattanah;

从玛他拿到拿哈列，从拿哈列到巴末，
And from Mattanah to Nahaliel, and from Nahaliel to Bamoth;

从巴末到摩押地的谷，又到那下望旷野之毗斯迦的山顶。
And from Bamoth to the valley that is in the land of Moab, to the top of Pisgah, which looks down upon the desert.
