MarkChapter 13 And Jesus said to him, Do you see these great buildings? 1There shall by no means be left here a stone upon a stone which shall not be thrown down.
1And as He sat on the Mount of Olives opposite the temple, Peter and James and John and Andrew asked Him privately,
Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign when all these things are about to be accomplished?
And Jesus began to say to them, See that no one leads you astray.
Many will come in My name, saying, I am the Christ! and will lead many astray.
And when you hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not be alarmed; it must happen, but the end is not yet.
For nation will rise up against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; there will be earthquakes in various places; there will be famines. These things are the beginning of birth pangs.
Yet the gospel must first be proclaimed to all the nations.
And when they lead you away and deliver you up, do not be anxious beforehand about what you should 1speak, but whatever is given to you in that hour, speak that; for it is not you who are speaking, but the Holy Spirit.
And brother will deliver up brother to death, and a father his child; and children will rise up against their parents and put them to death.
And you will be hated by all on account of My name. But he who has endured to the end, this one shall be saved.
And let him who is on the housetop not come down, nor enter in, to take anything out of his house;
And let him who is in the field not turn back to take his garment.
But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days.
For those days will be a time of tribulation such as has not occurred from the beginning of the creation which God created until now, nor shall by any means ever occur.
And unless the Lord had shortened the days, no flesh would be saved; but on account of the chosen, whom He chose, He shortened the days.
And then if anyone says to you, Behold, here is the Christ! Behold, there! do not believe it.
For false Christs and false prophets will arise and will 1show signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, the chosen.
But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light,
And the stars will be falling out of heaven, and the powers in the heavens will be shaken.
And then they will see the Son of Man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.
And then He will send the angels, and He will gather together His chosen from the four winds, from the end of the earth to the end of heaven.
1But learn the parable from the fig tree: as soon as its branch has become tender and puts forth its leaves, you know that the summer is near.
Truly I say to you that this generation shall by no means pass away until all these things happen.
Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words shall by no means pass away.
But concerning that day or hour, no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but the Father.
Beware, be alert; for you do not know when the time is.
It is like a man who is about to go abroad, having left his house and given to his slaves authority, to each his work, and who commanded the doorkeeper to watch.
Watch therefore, for you do not know when the Master of the house comes, whether in the 1evening or at midnight or at cockcrowing or in the morning;
Lest He come suddenly and find you sleeping.
And what I say to you, I say to all: Watch!
NumbersChapter 27 And they stood before Moses and before Eleazar the priest and before the leaders and the whole assembly at the entrance of the Tent of Meeting, saying,
Our father died in the wilderness, and he was not among the company of those who gathered themselves together against Jehovah in the company of Korah; but he died in his own sin, and he had no sons.
Why should our father's name be taken away from among his family because he had no son? Give us a 1possession among our father's brothers.
And Moses brought their case before Jehovah.
Then Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,
The daughters of Zelophehad speak rightly. You shall surely give them the 1possession of an inheritance among their father's brothers; and you shall cause the inheritance of their father to pass to them.
And you shall speak to the children of Israel, saying, 1If a man dies and has no son, then you shall cause his inheritance to pass to his daughter.
And if he does not have a daughter, then you shall give his inheritance to his brothers.
And if he has no brothers, then you shall give his inheritance to his father's brothers.
And if his father has no brothers, then you shall give his inheritance to his relative nearest to him among his family, and he shall possess it. And it shall be a statute of judgment for the children of Israel, as Jehovah commanded Moses.
And Jehovah said to Moses, Go up to this mountain of the Abarim and see the land which I have given to the children of Israel.
And when you have seen it, you also shall be gathered to your people, just as Aaron your brother was gathered,
And Moses spoke to Jehovah, saying,
Who will go out before them and who will come in before them, and who will lead them out and who will bring them in; so that the assembly of Jehovah will not be like sheep which have no 1shepherd.
And Jehovah said to Moses, Take Joshua the son of Nun, a man in whom is the Spirit, and lay your hand upon him;
And set him before Eleazar the priest and before the whole assembly, and give him a charge in their sight.
And you shall put some of your honor upon him, so that the whole assembly of the children of Israel may obey him.
And he shall stand before Eleazar the priest, and he shall inquire for him by the judgment of the 1Urim before Jehovah. At his word shall they go out and at his word they shall come in, both he and all the children of Israel with him, even the whole assembly.
And Moses did as Jehovah commanded him, and he took Joshua and set him before Eleazar the priest and before the whole assembly.
NumbersChapter 28 Then Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,
Command the children of Israel and say to them, My offering, My 1food for My offerings by fire of a satisfying fragrance to Me, you shall be careful to present to Me at its appointed time.
And you shall say to them, This is the offering by fire which you shall present to Jehovah: two male lambs a year old without blemish each day as a continual burnt offering.
Also a tenth of an ephah of fine flour for a 1meal offering, mingled with the fourth of a hin of beaten oil.
It is a continual burnt offering, which was set up on Mount Sinai for a satisfying fragrance, an offering by fire to Jehovah.
And its 1drink offering shall be the fourth of a hin for the one lamb; in the sanctuary you shall pour out a drink offering of strong drink to Jehovah.
And the other lamb you shall offer at twilight; you shall offer it with the meal offering and its drink offering as in the morning, an offering by fire, a satisfying fragrance to Jehovah.
And on the Sabbath day two male lambs a year old without blemish, and two-tenths of an ephah of fine flour for a meal offering, mingled with oil, and its drink offering —
This is the burnt offering of every Sabbath, besides the continual burnt offering and its drink offering.
And at the 1beginnings of your months you shall present a burnt offering to Jehovah: two bulls of the herd and one ram, seven male lambs a year old without blemish;
And three-tenths of an ephah of fine flour for a meal offering, mingled with oil, for each bull; and two-tenths of an ephah of fine flour for a meal offering, mingled with oil, for the one ram;
And a tenth of an ephah of fine flour mingled with oil for a meal offering for each lamb for a burnt offering, a satisfying fragrance, an offering by fire to Jehovah.
And their drink offerings shall be half a hin of wine for a bull, and a third of a hin for the ram, and a fourth of a hin for a lamb. This is the burnt offering of each month throughout the months of the year.
Also one male goat for a 1sin offering to Jehovah shall be offered in addition to the continual burnt offering and its drink offering.
And on the fifteenth day of this month shall be a feast; seven days unleavened bread shall be eaten.
On the first day there shall be a holy convocation; you shall do no work of labor;
But you shall present an offering by fire, a burnt offering to Jehovah: two bulls of the herd and one ram and seven male lambs a year old; they shall be without blemish for you;
And you shall offer their meal offering of fine flour mingled with oil: three-tenths of an ephah for a bull and two-tenths for a ram;
You shall offer one-tenth for each lamb of the seven lambs;
And one male goat as a sin offering, to make expiation for you.
You shall offer these besides the burnt offering of the morning, which is for a continual burnt offering.
In this way you shall offer daily, for seven days, the food of the offering by fire, a satisfying fragrance to Jehovah; it shall be offered besides the continual burnt offering and its drink offering.
And on the seventh day you shall have a holy convocation; you shall do no work of labor.
Also in the day of the firstfruits, when you present a new meal offering to Jehovah in your Feast of Weeks, you shall have a holy convocation; you shall do no work of labor;
But you shall present a burnt offering for a satisfying fragrance to Jehovah: two bulls of the herd, one ram, seven male lambs a year old;
And their meal offering of fine flour mingled with oil: three-tenths of an ephah for each bull, two-tenths for one ram,
One-tenth for each lamb of the seven lambs;
And one male goat, to make expiation for you.
Besides the continual burnt offering and its meal offering, you shall offer them (they shall be without blemish for you) and their drink offerings.
