00:00 --:--
1And they  2led Jesus away to the high priest, and all the chief priests and the elders and the scribes came together.
And Peter followed Him at a distance until he was within the courtyard of the high priest. And he was there sitting with the attendants and warming himself in the light of the fire.
Now the chief priests and the whole  1Sanhedrin were seeking testimony against Jesus in order to put Him to death, and they could not find it.
For many gave false testimony against Him, yet the testimonies were not consistent.
And some stood up and testified falsely against Him, saying,
We heard Him say, I will destroy this temple made with hands, and  1in three days I will build another made without hands.
And neither in this regard was their testimony consistent.
And the high priest stood up in the midst and questioned Jesus, saying, Do You not answer anything? What is this that these testify against You?
But He was silent and did not answer anything. Again the high priest questioned Him and said to Him, Are You the Christ, the Son of the  1Blessed?
And Jesus said,  1I am. And you shall see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of Power and coming with the clouds of heaven.
And the high priest, tearing his  1garments, said, What further need do we have of witnesses?
You heard the  1blasphemy! How does it appear to you? And they all condemned Him of being worthy of death.
And some began to  1spit at Him and to blindfold His face and to beat Him with their fists and to say to Him,  2Prophesy! And the attendants,  3slapping Him about, took Him.
1And while Peter was below in the courtyard, one of the servant girls of the high priest came,
And seeing Peter warming himself, she looked at him and said, You also were with the Nazarene, Jesus.
But he denied it, saying, I neither know nor understand what you are talking about. And he went outside into the forecourt, and a rooster crowed.
And the servant girl, seeing him, began again to say to those standing by, This man is one of them!
But again he denied it. And after a little while, those standing by again said to Peter, Surely you are one of them, for you are a Galilean as  1well.
But he began to  1curse and to swear, I do not know this man of whom you speak!
And immediately a rooster crowed a second time. And Peter remembered the word, how Jesus had said to him, Before a rooster crows twice, you will deny Me three times. And thinking upon it, he wept.

(Ⅱ. Journeying — cont'd)

NumbersChapter 33
These are the  1journeys of the children of Israel, when they went forth out of the land of Egypt by their companies under the direction of Moses and Aaron.
And Moses wrote down the places that they went out from for their journeys according to the commandment of Jehovah; and these are their journeys according to the places they went out from.
Now they journeyed from Rameses in the first month, on the fifteenth day of the first month. On the day after the passover the children of Israel went out  1boldly in the sight of all the Egyptians,
While the Egyptians were burying those whom Jehovah had struck down among them, all their firstborn; on their gods Jehovah also executed judgments.
And the children of Israel journeyed from Rameses and encamped at Succoth.
And they journeyed from Succoth and encamped at Etham, which is at the edge of the wilderness.
And they journeyed from Etham and turned back to Pi-hahiroth, which faces Baal-zephon; and they encamped before Migdol.
And they journeyed from  1Pi-hahiroth and passed through the midst of the sea into the wilderness, and they went three days' journey in the wilderness of Etham and encamped at Marah.
And they journeyed from Marah and came to Elim. And in Elim there were twelve springs of water and seventy palm trees, and they encamped there.
And they journeyed from Elim and encamped by the Red Sea.
And they journeyed from the Red Sea and encamped in the wilderness of Sin.
And they journeyed from the wilderness of Sin and encamped at Dophkah.
And they journeyed from Dophkah and encamped at Alush.
And they journeyed from Alush and encamped at Rephidim, and there was no water for the people to drink there.
And they journeyed from Rephidim and encamped in the wilderness of Sinai.
And they journeyed from the wilderness of Sinai and encamped at Kibroth-hattaavah.
And they journeyed from Kibroth-hattaavah and encamped at Hazeroth.
And they journeyed from Hazeroth and encamped at Rithmah.
And they journeyed from Rithmah and encamped at Rimmon-perez.
And they journeyed from Rimmon-perez and encamped at Libnah.
And they journeyed from Libnah and encamped at Rissah.
And they journeyed from Rissah and encamped at Kehelathah.
And they journeyed from Kehelathah and encamped at Mount Shepher.
And they journeyed from Mount Shepher and encamped at Haradah.
And they journeyed from Haradah and encamped at Makheloth.
And they journeyed from Makheloth and encamped at Tahath.
And they journeyed from Tahath and encamped at Terah.
And they journeyed from Terah and encamped at Mithkah.
And they journeyed from Mithkah and encamped at Hashmonah.
And they journeyed from Hashmonah and encamped at Moseroth.
And they journeyed from Moseroth and encamped at Bene-jaakan.
And they journeyed from Bene-jaakan and encamped at Hor-haggidgad.
And they journeyed from Hor-haggidgad and encamped at Jotbathah.
And they journeyed from Jotbathah and encamped at Abronah.
And they journeyed from Abronah and encamped at Ezion-geber.
And they journeyed from Ezion-geber and encamped in the wilderness of Zin, that is, Kadesh.
And they journeyed from Kadesh and encamped in Mount Hor at the edge of the land of Edom.
And Aaron the priest went up onto Mount Hor at the commandment of Jehovah and died there in the fortieth year after the children of Israel had come out of the land of Egypt, in the fifth month, on the first day of the month.
And Aaron was one hundred twenty-three years old when he died on Mount Hor.
And the Canaanite, the king of Arad, who was dwelling in the Negev in the land of Canaan, heard of the coming of the children of Israel.
And they journeyed from Mount Hor and encamped at Zalmonah.
And they journeyed from Zalmonah and encamped at Punon.
And they journeyed from Punon and encamped at Oboth.
And they journeyed from Oboth and encamped at Iye-abarim on the border of Moab.
And they journeyed from Iyim and encamped at Dibon-gad.
And they journeyed from Dibon-gad and encamped in Almon-diblathaim.
And they journeyed from Almon-diblathaim and encamped in the mountains of the Abarim before Nebo.
And they journeyed from the mountains of the Abarim and encamped in the plains of Moab beside the Jordan at Jericho.
And they encamped beside the Jordan from Beth-jeshimoth as far as Abel-shittim in the plains of Moab.
Then Jehovah spoke to Moses in the plains of Moab by the Jordan at Jericho, saying,
Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them, When you pass over the Jordan into the land of Canaan,
You shall  1drive out all the inhabitants of the land from before you, and you shall destroy all their figured stones and destroy all their molten images and demolish all their high places;
And you shall take possession of the land and dwell in it, for to you I have given the land to possess it.
And you shall inherit the land by  1lot according to your families; to the larger you shall give a larger inheritance, and to the smaller you shall give a smaller inheritance. Wherever the lot falls to anyone, that shall be his. You shall inherit according to the tribes of your fathers.
But if you do not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you, then those whom you let remain of them will become as splinters in your eyes and as thorns in your sides, and they will trouble you in the land in which you are dwelling.
And just as I thought to do to them, so will I do to you.

NumbersChapter 34
Then Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,
Command the children of Israel and say to them, When you come into the land of Canaan, this is the land that shall fall to you for an inheritance, the land of Canaan according to its borders.
And your southern section shall be from the wilderness of Zin along the side of Edom, and your southern border shall begin from the end of the  1Salt Sea on the east.
And your border shall turn about south to the ascent of Akrabbim and pass on to Zin, and it shall go out to the south of Kadesh-barnea, even going out to Hazar-addar; then it shall pass on to Azmon.
Then the border shall turn from Azmon to the brook of Egypt, and it shall go out to the sea.
And for the western border you shall have the  1Great Sea and its coast; this shall be your western border.
And this shall be your northern border: From the Great Sea you shall mark out a line for yourselves to Mount Hor.
From Mount Hor you shall mark out a line to the  1entrance of Hamath; and the border shall go out to Zedad;
And the border shall go out to Ziphron, and it shall go out to Hazar-enan. This shall be your northern border.
And you shall mark out your eastern border from Hazar-enan to Shepham;
And the border shall go down from Shepham to Riblah on the east side of Ain; and the border shall go down and reach the  1slope on the east of the  2Sea of Chinnereth;
And the border shall go down to the  1Jordan, and it shall go out to the Salt Sea. This shall be your land according to its borders all around.
And Moses commanded the children of Israel, saying, This is the land which you shall inherit by lot, which Jehovah has commanded to give to the nine tribes and to the half-tribe.
For the tribe of the children of Reuben according to their fathers' households and the tribe of the children of Gad according to their fathers' households and the half-tribe of Manasseh have received their inheritance.
The two tribes and the half-tribe have received their inheritance  1beyond the Jordan at Jericho eastward, toward the sunrise.
Then Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,
These are the names of the men who shall divide the land to you for inheritance:  1Eleazar the priest and  1Joshua the son of Nun.
And you shall take one leader from each tribe to divide the land for inheritance.
And these are the names of the men: For the tribe of Judah, Caleb the son of Jephunneh.
And for the tribe of the children of Simeon, Shemuel the son of Ammihud.
For the tribe of Benjamin, Elidad the son of Chislon.
And for the tribe of the children of Dan, a leader, Bukki the son of Jogli.
For the children of Joseph: For the tribe of the children of Manasseh, a leader, Hanniel the son of Ephod.
And for the tribe of the children of Ephraim, a leader, Kemuel the son of Shiphtan.
And for the tribe of the children of Zebulun, a leader, Elizaphan the son of Parnach.
And for the tribe of the children of Issachar, a leader, Paltiel the son of Azzan.
And for the tribe of the children of Asher, a leader, Ahihud the son of Shelomi.
And for the tribe of the children of Naphtali, a leader, Pedahel the son of Ammihud.
These are those whom Jehovah commanded to divide the inheritance to the children of Israel in the land of Canaan.
