Now we charge you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you keep away from every brother walking disorderly and not according to the things which were handed down to you and which you received from us.
弟兄们，我们在我们主耶稣基督的名里嘱咐你们，凡有弟兄不按规矩、且不照着你们从我们所受的传授而行，就当远离他。

For you yourselves know how you ought to imitate us, because we were not disorderly among you;
你们自己原知道，应当怎样效法我们；因为我们在你们中间，未尝不守规矩，

Nor did we eat bread as a gift from anyone, but in labor and hardship we worked night and day so that we would not be burdensome to any of you;
也未尝白吃任何人的饭，倒是劳碌辛苦，昼夜作工，免得叫你们任何人受累。

Not because we do not have the right, but in order that we might give ourselves to you as a pattern that you might imitate us.
这并不是因我们没有权利，乃是要给你们作榜样，叫你们效法我们。

For even when we were with you, we gave you this charge, that if anyone does not want to work, neither should he eat.
我们在你们那里的时候，也曾将这事嘱咐你们，若有人不愿作工，就不可吃饭。

For we hear of some walking among you disorderly, doing no work at all, but being busybodies.
因我们听说，在你们中间有些人不按规矩而行，什么工都不作，反倒好管闲事。

Now such ones we charge and exhort in the Lord Jesus Christ to work with quietness and eat their own bread.
我们在主耶稣基督里，嘱咐并劝勉这样的人，要安静作工，吃自己的饭。

But you, brothers, do not lose heart in doing good.
弟兄们，你们行善不可丧志。

And if anyone does not obey our word through this letter, mark this one so as not to mingle with him, in order that he may be ashamed.
若有人不顺从我们这信上的话，要记下这人，不和他交往，叫他自觉羞愧；

Yet do not regard him as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother.
只是不要以他为仇敌，乃要劝戒他如弟兄。

Now the Lord of peace Himself give you peace continually in every way. The Lord be with you all.
愿平安的主，随时多方亲自赐你们平安；愿主与你们众人同在。

The greeting in my own hand — Paul — which is the mark in every letter; so I write.
我保罗亲笔问安，这是我每封信的记号，我就是这样写的。

The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all.
愿我们主耶稣基督的恩与你们众人同在。

The word that came to Jeremiah from Jehovah, saying,
从耶和华有话临到耶利米，说，

Stand in the gate of the house of Jehovah, and proclaim this word there and say, Hear the word of Jehovah, all Judah, who enter through these gates to worship Jehovah.
你当站在耶和华殿的门口，在那里宣告这话，说，你们进这些门敬拜耶和华的一切犹大人，当听耶和华的话。

Thus says Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel, Amend your ways and your deeds, and I will cause you to dwell in this place.
万军之耶和华以色列的神如此说，你们当改正所行所为，我就使你们仍然安居在这地方。

Do not trust in the words of falsehood that say, The temple of Jehovah, the temple of Jehovah, these buildings are the temple of Jehovah.
你们不要倚靠虚谎的话，说，这些建筑是耶和华的殿，是耶和华的殿，是耶和华的殿。

But if you truly amend your ways and your deeds, if you truly execute justice between a man and his neighbor,
你们若实在改正所行所为，在人和邻舍中间诚然施行公理，

If you do not oppress the sojourner, the orphan, and the widow, and do not shed innocent blood in this place, nor go after other gods to your own ruin;
不欺压寄居的和孤儿寡妇，在这地方不流无辜人的血，也不随从别神陷害自己；

Then I will cause you to dwell in this place, in the land which I gave to your fathers from eternity to eternity.
我就使你们仍然安居在这地方，就是我从古时所赐给你们列祖的地，直到永远。

See, you are trusting in words of falsehood that do not benefit you.
你们倚靠虚谎无益的话。

Will you steal, murder, and commit adultery, and swear falsely, and burn incense to Baal and go after other gods which you have not known,
你们偷盗、杀害、奸淫、起假誓、向巴力烧香、并随从素不认识的别神；

Then come and stand before Me in this house, which is called by My name, and say, We are delivered! — that you may do all these abominations?
然后来到这称为我名下的殿，站在我面前说，我们得自由了；你们以为这样就可以行那一切可憎的事么？

Has this house which is called by My name become a den of robbers in your eyes? Yet I, even I, have seen it, declares Jehovah.
这称为我名下的殿，在你们眼中成了贼窝么？我都看见了；这是耶和华说的。

But go now to My place which was in Shiloh, where I caused My name to dwell at first, and see what I did to it because of the wickedness of My people Israel.
你们且往示罗我的地方，就是我先前给我名居住的地方，察看我因我百姓以色列的罪恶，向那地所行的。

And now, because you have done all these works, declares Jehovah, and I spoke to you, rising up early and speaking, but you did not listen, and I called you, but you did not answer;
耶和华说，现在因你们行了这一切的事，我也从早起来说话，告诉你们，你们却不听从，呼唤你们，你们却不答应；

Therefore I will do to the house that is called by My name, in which you trust, and to the place that I gave you and your fathers as I have done to Shiloh.
所以我要对付这称为我名下，你们所倚靠的殿，与我所赐给你们和你们列祖的地方，像我从前对付示罗一样。

And I will cast you out from before Me, as I cast out all your brothers, all the seed of Ephraim.
我必将你们从我面前赶出，正如赶出你们的众弟兄，就是以法莲的一切后裔。

And as for you, do not pray for this people, nor lift up a ringing cry or a prayer for them; and do not intercede with Me, for I will not hear you.
至于你，不要为这百姓祈祷，不要为他们呼求祷告，也不要向我为他们代求；因我必不听你。

Do you not see what they are doing in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem?
他们在犹大城邑中和耶路撒冷街上所行的，你没有看见么？

The children gather wood, and the fathers light the fire, and the women knead the dough, to make cakes for the queen of heaven and to pour out drink offerings to other gods to provoke Me to anger.
孩子捡柴，父亲烧火，妇女抟面，作饼给天后，又向别神浇奠祭，惹我发怒。

Are they provoking Me to anger? declares Jehovah. Are they not provoking themselves, to the shaming of their own faces?
耶和华说，他们岂是惹我发怒呢？不是自己惹祸，以致脸上惭愧么？

Therefore thus says the Lord Jehovah, My anger and My wrath will be poured out on this place, on man and on beast and on the trees of the field and on the fruit of the ground; and it will burn and not be quenched.
所以主耶和华如此说，我的怒气和忿怒，必倾倒在这地方，在人和牲畜身上，并田野的树木和地里的出产上；必如火着起，不能熄灭。

Thus says Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel, Add your burnt offerings to your sacrifices and eat the flesh.
万军之耶和华以色列的神如此说，你们将燔祭加在平安祭上，吃肉吧。

For I did not speak to your fathers or command them in the day that I brought them out of the land of Egypt concerning burnt offerings and sacrifices.
因为我将你们列祖从埃及地领出来的那日，燔祭和平安祭的事，我并没有提说，也没有吩咐他们。

But this is what I commanded them, saying, Hear My voice, and I will be your God, and you will be My people; and walk in all the way which I command you, that it may go well with you.
我只吩咐他们这事，说，你们当听从我的话，我就作你们的神，你们也作我的子民；你们要行在我所吩咐的一切道路上，就可以得福。

But they did not listen or incline their ear, but walked in the counsels and the stubbornness of their evil hearts and went backward and not forward.
他们却不听从，不侧耳而听，竟随从自己的计谋和顽梗的恶心而行，向后不向前。

From the day that your fathers came out from the land of Egypt unto this day I have sent to you all My servants the prophets, daily rising up early and sending them.
自从你们列祖出埃及地的那日，直到今日，我差遣我的众仆人申言者，到你们那里去，每日从早起来差遣他们。

But they did not listen to Me or incline their ear, but stiffened their neck; they did more evil than their fathers.
你们却不听从，不侧耳而听，竟硬着颈项，行恶比你们列祖更甚。

So you shall speak to them all these words, but they will not listen to you; and you shall call to them, but they will not answer you.
你要将这一切的话告诉他们，他们却不肯听从；呼唤他们，他们却不肯答应。

And you shall say to them, This is the nation which did not listen to the voice of Jehovah their God and did not take correction; the truth has perished and is cut off from their mouth.
你要对他们说，这就是不听从耶和华他们神的话，不受管教的国民；真理已经丧失，从他们口中断绝了。

Cut off your hair and throw it away, / And take up a lamentation on the bare heights; / For Jehovah has rejected and forsaken / The generation of His overflowing wrath.
耶路撒冷啊，要剪发抛弃，在光秃的高处举哀；因为耶和华丢掉并离弃了惹祂盛怒的世代。

For the children of Judah have done that which is evil in My sight, declares Jehovah; they have set their detestable things in the house which is called by My name, to defile it.
耶和华说，犹大人行了我眼中看为恶的事，将他们的可憎之物设立在称为我名下的殿中，污秽这殿。

And they have built the high places of Topheth, which is in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to burn their sons and their daughters in the fire, something I did not command, nor did it come up in My heart.
他们在欣嫩子谷建筑陀斐特的邱坛，好在火中焚烧自己的儿女；这并不是我所吩咐的，也不是我心所起的意。

Therefore, days are coming, declares Jehovah, when it will no longer be called Topheth, or the valley of the son of Hinnom, but the valley of slaughter; for they will bury in Topheth because there will be no other place.
耶和华说，因此日子将到，这地方不再称为陀斐特或欣嫩子谷，反倒称为杀戮谷；因为他们要在陀斐特葬埋尸首，因无别处可葬。

And the corpses of this people will become food for the birds of the sky and for the beasts of the earth; and no one will frighten them away.
并且这百姓的尸首，必给空中的飞鸟和地上的野兽作食物，并无人哄赶。

And I will cause the voice of gladness and the voice of joy to cease, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride, from the cities of Judah and from the streets of Jerusalem; for the land will become a waste.
我必使犹大城邑中和耶路撒冷街上，欢喜和快乐的声音，新郎和新妇的声音，都止息了；因为这地必成为荒场。

At that time, declares Jehovah, they will bring out the bones of the kings of Judah and the bones of its princes and the bones of the priests and the bones of the prophets and the bones of the inhabitants of Jerusalem from their graves.
耶和华说，到那时人必将犹大王的骸骨、犹大首领的骸骨、祭司的骸骨、申言者的骸骨并耶路撒冷居民的骸骨，都从坟墓中取出来，

And they will spread them out to the sun and to the moon and to all the host of heaven, which they have loved and which they have served and which they have gone after and which they have sought and which they have worshipped; and they will not be gathered up or buried; they will be like dung on the surface of the ground.
抛散在日头、月亮和天上众星之下，就是他们从前所喜爱、所事奉、所随从、所求问、所敬拜的；这些骸骨不再收殓葬埋；必在地面上成为粪土。

And death will be chosen rather than life by all the remnant that remains of this evil family, that remains in all the places where I have driven them, declares Jehovah of hosts.
并且这恶族所剩下一切的余民，在我所赶他们到的各处，宁可拣选死不拣选生，这是万军之耶和华说的。

And you shall say to them, Thus says Jehovah, Do men fall and not rise again? / If one turns away, does he not return?
你要对他们说，耶和华如此说，人跌倒，不再起来么？人转去，不再转回么？

Why has this people Jerusalem / Turned away in perpetual apostasy? / They hold fast to deceit; / They refuse to turn back.
这耶路撒冷的民，为何恒久背道呢？他们持定诡诈，不肯回头。

I have listened carefully and heard; / They have not spoken rightly; / There is no one who repents of his wickedness, / Saying, What have I done? / Everyone turns to his own course, / Like a horse rushing headlong into battle.
我留心听且听见了，他们说不正直的话；无人懊悔自己的恶行，说，我作了什么呢？他们各人转奔己路，如马直闯战场。

Even the stork in the sky / Knows its appointed times, / And the turtledove and the swallow and the crane / Keep the time of their coming; / But My people do not know / The ordinance of Jehovah.
空中的鹳鸟，知道来去的定期；斑鸠、燕子和白鹤，也守候当来的时令；我的百姓，却不知道耶和华的律例。

How can you say, We are wise, / And the law of Jehovah is with us? / But look, the false pen of the scribes / Has turned it into falsehood.
你们怎么说，我们有智慧，耶和华的律法在我们这里？看哪，经学家的假笔舞弄虚假。

The wise men are put to shame; / They are dismayed and are taken; / See, they have rejected the word of Jehovah; / And what wisdom do they have?
智慧人惭愧、惊惶、被擒拿；看哪，他们弃掉耶和华的话，还有什么智慧呢？

Therefore I will give their wives to others, / Their fields to those who will possess them; / For from the small unto the great, / Everyone is wresting unjust gain; / From the prophet even to the priest, / Everyone is dealing falsely.
所以我必将他们的妻子给别人，将他们的田地给别人为业；因为他们从最小的到至大的，人人都贪图不义之财；从申言者到祭司，个个都行事虚谎。

And they have healed / The brokenness of the daughter of My people slightly, / Saying, Peace, peace, / Although there is no peace.
他们轻轻忽忽地医治我百姓的损伤，说，平安了，平安了；其实没有平安。

Were they ashamed when they committed abomination? / They were not at all ashamed; / They did not even know to blush. / Therefore they will fall with those who fall; / At the time of their punishment they will stumble, / Says Jehovah.
他们行可憎的事，知道惭愧么？不然，他们毫不惭愧，也不知羞耻。因此，他们必在仆倒的人中仆倒；我向他们讨罪的时候，他们必至跌倒；这是耶和华说的。

I will utterly take them away, / Declares Jehovah; / There are no grapes on the vine, / And there are no figs on the fig tree; / Even the leaves are withered; / And what I gave them has passed away from them.
耶和华说，我必将他们收取净尽；葡萄树上必没有葡萄，无花果树上必没有无花果，叶子也必枯干；我所赐给他们的，已离开他们过去。

Why do we sit? Gather yourselves, / And let us go up to the fortified cities / And be silent there, / Because Jehovah our God has silenced us / And made us drink poisonous water, / Because we have sinned against Jehovah.
我们为何坐着不动？你们当聚集，进入坚固城，在那里静默不言；因为耶和华我们的神，使我们静默不言，又将苦毒的水给我们喝，都因我们得罪了耶和华。

We hoped for peace, but no good came; / For a time of healing, but there was terror.
我们指望平安，却得不着好处；指望得医治的时候，却受了惊惶。

The snorting of their horses / Is heard from Dan; / At the sound of the neighing of their stallions / The whole land quakes. / And they come and devour the land and its fullness, / The city and those who dwell in it.
从但听见敌人的马喷鼻气；他们的壮马发嘶声，全地就都震动。他们来吞灭这地和其上所有的，吞灭这城和其中的居民。

For I will send among you serpents, / Adders, for which there is no enchantment; / And they will bite you, / Declares Jehovah.
因为我必打发毒蛇到你们中间，是没有法术能制伏的；它们必咬你们；这是耶和华说的。

Oh that there were comforting to me in sorrow! / My heart within me is faint.
我有忧愁，愿得安慰！我心在我里面发昏。

It is the voice of the cry of the daughter of my people / From a land very far away: / Is Jehovah not in Zion? / Is her King not in her? / Why have they provoked Me to anger / With their graven images and with strange idols?
听啊，是我百姓的哀声，从极远之地而来，说，耶和华不在锡安么？锡安的王不在其中么？耶和华说，他们为什么以雕制的偶像，和外邦的偶像，惹我发怒呢？

The harvest has passed, the summer has ended, / And we are not saved.
收割已过，夏日已完，我们还未得救。

For the brokenness of the daughter of my people I am broken. / I mourn; horror has taken hold of me.
申言者说，因我百姓的损伤，我也受了损伤。我哀痛；惊恐将我抓住。

Is there no balm in Gilead? / Is there no physician there? / Why then has the recovery of the daughter of my people / Not occurred?
在基列岂没有乳香么？在那里岂没有医生么？我百姓为何不得痊愈呢？
