And to Apphia the sister and to Archippus our fellow soldier and to the church, which is in your house:
和姊妹亚腓亚，并与我们一同当兵的亚基布，以及在你家中的召会：

Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
愿恩典与平安，从神我们的父，并主耶稣基督归与你们。

I thank my God always, making mention of you in my prayers,
我祷告的时候提到你，常常感谢我的神，

Hearing of your love and the faith which you have toward the Lord Jesus and to all the saints,
因听见你对主耶稣，并对众圣徒的爱与信；

That the fellowship of your faith may become effective in the full knowledge of every good thing which is in you for Christ.
愿你信的交通显出功效，使人充分认识你们里面为着基督的各样善事。

For I had much joy and encouragement over your love, because the inward parts of the saints have been refreshed through you, brother.
因为弟兄啊，我因你的爱，大大喜乐，满受鼓励，因为众圣徒的心肠借着你得了舒畅。

Therefore though I have much boldness in Christ to charge you what is fitting,
为此，我虽然在基督里能大有胆量吩咐你合宜的事，

Because of love I rather entreat, being such a one as Paul the aged and now also a prisoner of Christ Jesus.
然而像我这有年纪的保罗，现在又是基督耶稣的囚犯，宁可因着爱恳求你，

I entreat you concerning my child, whom I have begotten in my bonds, Onesimus,
就是为我在捆锁中所生的孩子欧尼西母恳求你；

Who formerly was useless to you but now is useful both to you and to me.
他从前对你没有益处，但如今对你我都有益处。

Him I have sent back to you — him, that is, my very heart —
我现在打发他回你那里去，他乃是我心上的人。

Whom I intended to keep with myself that on your behalf he might minister to me in the bonds of the gospel.
我本有意将他留在身边，使他在我为福音所受的捆锁中，替你服事我。

But without your mind I did not want to do anything, that your goodness would not be as of necessity, but voluntary.
但未得知你的意见，我就不愿作什么，好叫你的善行不像是出于勉强，乃是出于甘心。

For perhaps for this reason he was separated from you for but an hour, that you might fully have him forever,
因为他暂时离开你，或者是叫你可以永远完全得着他，

No longer as a slave, but above a slave, a beloved brother, especially to me, but how much more to you, both in the flesh and in the Lord.
不再是奴仆，乃是高过奴仆，是亲爱的弟兄，对我固然是如此，对你，不拘在肉身上，或在主里，岂不都更是这样。

If then you hold me as a partner, receive him as myself.
所以，你若以我为同伙，就接纳他，如同接纳我一样。

And if he has wronged you in anything or owes anything, charge that to my account.
他若亏负你，或欠你什么，这都归在我的账上；

I, Paul, have written with my own hand: I will repay; not to say to you that you owe me even your own self besides.
我必偿还，这是我保罗亲笔写的。我并不用对你说，连你自己也是亏欠于我。

Yes, brother, may I have profit from you in the Lord; refresh my inward parts in Christ.
弟兄啊，是的，愿我在主里从你得着益处，愿你使我的心肠在基督里得舒畅。

Having confidence in your obedience, I have written to you, knowing that you will do even beyond the things that I say.
我写信给你，深信你必顺从，知道你所要行的，甚至必过于我所说的。

And at the same time also prepare me a lodging, for I hope that through your prayers I will be graciously given to you.
同时，你还要给我预备住所，因为我盼望借着你们的祷告，我可当作恩典赐给你们。

Epaphras, my fellow prisoner in Christ Jesus, greets you;
在基督耶稣里与我一同坐监的以巴弗问你安。

As do Mark, Aristarchus, Demas, Luke, my fellow workers.
我的同工马可、亚里达古、底马、路加，也都问你安。

The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit.
愿主耶稣基督的恩与你们的灵同在。

And in the fourth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, the king of Judah, this word came to Jeremiah from Jehovah, saying,
犹大王约西亚的儿子约雅敬第四年，从耶和华有这话临到耶利米，说，

Take a scroll book and write on it all the words which I have spoken to you concerning Israel and concerning Judah and concerning all the nations from the day I spoke to you, from the days of Josiah even to this day.
你取一书卷，将我对你所说攻击以色列、犹大并各国的一切话，从我对你说话的那日，就是从约西亚的日子起，直到今日，都写在其上。

Perhaps the house of Judah will listen to all the evil which I intend to do to them so that they may turn, each one from his evil way, that I may forgive their iniquity and their sin.
或者犹大家听见我想要降与他们的一切灾祸，各人就回头离开自己恶的行径，我好赦免他们的罪孽和他们的罪。

Then Jeremiah called Baruch the son of Neriah, and Baruch wrote from the mouth of Jeremiah all the words of Jehovah, which He had spoken to him, on a scroll book.
于是耶利米召了尼利亚的儿子巴录来，巴录就从耶利米口中，将耶和华对耶利米所说的一切话写在书卷上。

And Jeremiah commanded Baruch, saying, I am restrained; I cannot go to the house of Jehovah;
耶利米吩咐巴录说，我被拘管，不能进耶和华的殿；

Therefore you shall go and read in the scroll on which you have written from my mouth the words of Jehovah in the ears of the people in the house of Jehovah on the day of fasting; and you shall also read them in the ears of all Judah who come from their cities.
所以你要进去，趁禁食的日子，在耶和华殿中，将耶和华的话，就是你从我口中所写在书卷上的话，念给百姓听，也要把这些话念给一切从犹大城邑来的人听；

Perhaps their supplication will come before Jehovah, and each one will turn from his evil way, for great is the anger and the wrath which Jehovah has spoken against this people.
或者他们的恳求达到耶和华面前，各人回转离开恶的行径；因为耶和华向这百姓所说要发的怒气和忿怒是大的。

And Baruch the son of Neriah did according to all that Jeremiah the prophet commanded him, to read in the book the words of Jehovah in the house of Jehovah.
尼利亚的儿子巴录就照申言者耶利米所吩咐的一切去行，在耶和华的殿中，念书上耶和华的话。

And in the fifth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, the king of Judah, in the ninth month, they proclaimed a fast before Jehovah for all the people in Jerusalem and for all the people who came from the cities of Judah to Jerusalem.
犹大王约西亚的儿子约雅敬第五年九月，耶路撒冷的众民，和那些从犹大城邑来到耶路撒冷的众民，在耶和华面前宣告禁食。

Then Baruch read the words of Jeremiah in the book in the house of Jehovah, in the chamber of Gemariah the son of Shaphan the scribe, in the upper court, at the entry of the new gate of the house of Jehovah, in the ears of all the people.
巴录就在耶和华殿的上院，耶和华殿的新门口，沙番的儿子书记基玛利雅的屋内，念书上耶利米的话给众民听。

When Micaiah the son of Gemariah, the son of Shaphan, heard all the words of Jehovah from the book,
沙番的孙子，基玛利雅的儿子米该亚，听见书上耶和华的一切话，

He went down to the king's house into the chamber of the scribe. And there they were, all the princes sitting there: Elishama the scribe and Delaiah the son of Shemaiah and Elnathan the son of Achbor and Gemariah the son of Shaphan and Zedekiah the son of Hananiah and all the other princes.
他就下到王宫，进入书记的屋子；众首领，就是书记以利沙玛、示玛雅的儿子第来雅、亚革波的儿子以利拿单、沙番的儿子基玛利雅、哈拿尼雅的儿子西底家和所有其余的首领，都坐在那里。

And Micaiah told them all the words which he had heard when Baruch read in the book in the ears of the people.
米该亚对他们述说他所听见的一切话，就是巴录向百姓念那书的时候，他所听见的。

Then all the princes sent Jehudi the son of Nethaniah, the son of Shelemiah, the son of Cushi, to Baruch, saying, Take in your hand the scroll in which you read in the ears of the people and come. So Baruch the son of Neriah took the scroll in his hand and came to them.
众首领就打发古示的曾孙，示利米雅的孙子，尼探雅的儿子犹底，到巴录那里，对他说，你将所念给百姓听的书卷拿在手中，到我们这里来。尼利亚的儿子巴录就手拿书卷，来到他们那里。

And they said to him, Sit down now and read it in our ears. So Baruch read it in their ears.
他们对他说，请你坐下，念给我们听；巴录就念给他们听。

And when they heard all the words, they turned in fear one to another and said to Baruch, Indeed we must report all these words to the king.
他们听见这一切话就害怕，面面相觑，对巴录说，我们必须将这一切话报告王。

And they asked Baruch, saying, Tell us please, how did you write all these words? Was it from his mouth?
他们问巴录说，请你告诉我们，你怎样写这一切话？是他亲口说的么？

Then Baruch said to them, He read to me all these words from his mouth, and I wrote with ink in the book.
巴录回答说，他亲口向我念这一切话，我就用笔墨写在这书上。

Then the princes said to Baruch, Go and hide, you and Jeremiah, and let no one know where you are.
众首领对巴录说，你和耶利米要去藏起来，不可叫人知道你们在哪里。

So they went to the king in the court, but they had deposited the scroll in the chamber of Elishama the scribe; and they reported all the words in the ears of the king.
众首领进院见王，却先把书卷存放在书记以利沙玛的屋内；然后将这一切话报告给王听。

Then the king sent Jehudi to get the scroll, and he took it from the chamber of Elishama the scribe. And Jehudi read it in the ears of the king and in the ears of all the princes who stood by the king.
王就打发犹底去拿这书卷来；他便从书记以利沙玛的屋内取来，念给王和王左右侍立的众首领听。

Now the king was sitting in the winter house in the ninth month, and the fire of the brazier was burning before him.
那时正是九月，王坐在过冬的房屋里，王前面的火盆中烧着火。

And as Jehudi would read three or four columns, the king would cut it with a scribe's knife and throw the pieces into the fire which was in the brazier, until the whole scroll was consumed in the fire which was in the brazier.
犹底念了三四段，王就用书记的刀将书卷割破，扔在火盆中，直到全卷在火中烧尽了。

And the king and all his servants who heard all these words were not afraid and did not rend their garments.
王和听见这一切话的臣仆都不惧怕，也不撕裂自己的衣服。

Even when Elnathan and Delaiah and Gemariah urged the king not to burn the scroll, he would not listen to them.
以利拿单、第来雅和基玛利雅恳求王不要烧这书卷，他却不听。

And the king commanded Jerahmeel the king's son and Seraiah the son of Azriel and Shelemiah the son of Abdeel to seize Baruch the scribe and Jeremiah the prophet, but Jehovah hid them.
王吩咐王的儿子耶拉篾，和亚斯列的儿子西莱雅，并亚伯叠的儿子示利米雅，去捉拿书记巴录和申言者耶利米；耶和华却将他们隐藏。

And the word of Jehovah came to Jeremiah after the king had burned the scroll and the words which Baruch had written from the mouth of Jeremiah, saying,
王烧了书卷，其上有巴录从耶利米口中所写的话，以后耶和华的话临到耶利米，说，

Take again another scroll, and write on it all the former words that were on the first scroll, which Jehoiakim the king of Judah burned.
你再取一卷，将犹大王约雅敬所烧第一卷上先前的一切话，写在其上。

And concerning Jehoiakim the king of Judah you shall say, Thus says Jehovah, You have burned this scroll, saying, Why have you written in it, saying, The king of Babylon will certainly come and destroy this land and will cause man and beast to cease from it?
论到犹大王约雅敬你要说，耶和华如此说，你烧了这书卷，说，你为什么在其上写着说，巴比伦王必要来毁灭这地，使这地上绝了人口和牲畜呢？

Therefore thus says Jehovah concerning Jehoiakim the king of Judah, He will have no one to sit on the throne of David, and his corpse will be cast out to the heat by day and to the frost by night.
所以耶和华论到犹大王约雅敬如此说，他后裔中必没有人坐在大卫的宝座上；他的尸首必被抛弃，白日受炎热，黑夜受寒霜。

And I will punish him and his offspring and his servants for their iniquity, and I will bring upon them and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem and on the men of Judah all the evil which I have spoken against them. But they would not listen.
我必因他和他后裔，并他臣仆的罪孽，惩罚他们；我要使我所说的一切灾祸临到他们和耶路撒冷的居民，并犹大人；只是他们不听。

Then Jeremiah took another scroll and gave it to Baruch the son of Neriah, the scribe, and he wrote on it from the mouth of Jeremiah all the words of the book which Jehoiakim the king of Judah had burned in the fire; and many more words like those were added to them.
于是耶利米又取一书卷，交给尼利亚的儿子书记巴录，他就从耶利米的口中，将犹大王约雅敬用火所烧书卷上的一切话写下；另外又添了许多相仿的话。

And Zedekiah the son of Josiah, whom Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon made king in the land of Judah, reigned as king instead of Coniah the son of Jehoiakim.
约西亚的儿子西底家代替约雅敬的儿子哥尼雅为王，是巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒立在犹大地作王的。

But he did not listen, neither he nor his servants nor the people of the land, to the words of Jehovah, which He spoke through Jeremiah the prophet.
但西底家和他的臣仆并那地的百姓，都不听从耶和华借申言者耶利米所说的话。

And Zedekiah the king sent Jehucal the son of Shelemiah and Zephaniah the son of Maaseiah, the priest, to Jeremiah the prophet, saying, Pray to Jehovah our God for us.
西底家王打发示利米雅的儿子犹甲，和祭司玛西雅的儿子西番雅，去见申言者耶利米，说，求你为我们祷告耶和华我们的神。

Now Jeremiah came in and went out among the people, for they had not yet put him in prison.
那时耶利米在民中出入，因为他们还没有把他下在监里。

And the army of Pharaoh had come out of Egypt; and when the Chaldeans who were besieging Jerusalem heard news of them, they withdrew from Jerusalem.
法老的军队已经从埃及出来；那围困耶路撒冷的迦勒底人听见他们的风声，就从耶路撒冷退去了。

Then the word of Jehovah came to Jeremiah the prophet, saying,
耶和华的话临到申言者耶利米说，

Thus says Jehovah the God of Israel, Thus you shall say to the king of Judah, who sent you to Me to inquire of Me: Pharaoh's army, which came out to you to help, is now returning to its own land of Egypt.
耶和华以色列的神如此说，犹大王打发你们来求问我，你们要如此对他说，那出来帮助你们的法老军队，必回埃及本地去。

The Chaldeans will again return and fight against this city, and they will capture it and burn it with fire.
迦勒底人必再来攻打这城，并要攻取，用火焚烧。

Thus says Jehovah, Do not deceive yourselves, saying, The Chaldeans will surely go away from us; for they will not go away.
耶和华如此说，你们不要自欺，说，迦勒底人必定离开我们；因为他们必不离开。

For even if you had struck down the whole army of the Chaldeans who are fighting against you, and only wounded men remained among them, they would rise up each one in his tent and burn this city with fire.
你们即便杀败了与你们争战的迦勒底全军，使他们只剩下受伤的人，他们也必各人从帐棚里起来，用火焚烧这城。

And when the army of the Chaldeans had withdrawn from Jerusalem at the presence of the army of Pharaoh,
迦勒底的军队因怕法老的军队，从耶路撒冷退去的时候，

Jeremiah tried to go out from Jerusalem to go to the land of Benjamin to receive a portion there among the people.
耶利米就出离耶路撒冷，要往便雅悯地去，好在那里的百姓中间得自己的地业。

When he was at the Gate of Benjamin, there was a captain of the guard there whose name was Irijah, the son of Shelemiah, the son of Hananiah, and he seized Jeremiah the prophet, saying, You are deserting to the Chaldeans!
他到了便雅悯门那里，有守门官名叫伊利雅，是哈拿尼亚的孙子，示利米雅的儿子；他拿住申言者耶利米，说，你是投降迦勒底人吧！

And Jeremiah said, It is false! I am not deserting to the Chaldeans. But he did not listen to him. And Irijah seized Jeremiah and brought him to the princes.
耶利米说，这是谎话！我不是投降迦勒底人。伊利雅不听他的话，拿住他，解到首领那里。

And the princes were angry with Jeremiah and struck him and put him in prison, in the house of Jonathan the scribe; for they had made it into a prison.
首领恼怒耶利米，就打了他，将他下在监里，就是书记约拿单的房屋中；因为他们把这房屋当作监牢。

When Jeremiah came to the dungeon and to the cells, Jeremiah remained there many days.
耶利米来到地牢，进入囚室，在那里留了多日；

And Zedekiah the king sent and took him out; and the king questioned him in his house secretly and said, Is there any word from Jehovah? And Jeremiah said, There is. And he said, You will be delivered into the hand of the king of Babylon.
西底家王打发人提出他来，在自己的宫内私下问他说，从耶和华有什么话临到么？耶利米说，有。又说，你必被交在巴比伦王手中。

And Jeremiah also said to Zedekiah the king, In what have I sinned against you or against your servants or against this people, that you have put me in prison?
耶利米又对西底家王说，我在什么事上得罪你，或你的臣仆，或这百姓，你竟将我下在监里呢？

And where are your prophets who prophesied to you, saying, The king of Babylon will not come against you or against this land?
那些对你们预言说，巴比伦王必不来攻击你们和这地的申言者，现今在哪里呢？

And now hear, O my lord the king; let my supplication come before you, and do not send me back to the house of Jonathan the scribe, lest I die there.
我主我王啊，求你现在垂听，愿我的恳求达到你面前，不要使我回到书记约拿单的房屋中，免得我死在那里。

So Zedekiah the king commanded, and they placed Jeremiah in the court of the guard, and gave him a loaf of bread daily from the bakers' street, until all the bread was gone from the city. So Jeremiah remained in the court of the guard.
于是西底家王下令，他们就把耶利米交在护卫兵的院中，每天从饼铺街取一个饼给他，直到城中的饼用尽了。这样，耶利米就留在护卫兵的院中。

And Shephatiah the son of Mattan and Gedaliah the son of Pashhur and Jucal the son of Shelemiah and Pashhur the son of Malchijah heard the words that Jeremiah was speaking to all the people, saying,
玛坦的儿子示法提雅、巴施户珥的儿子基大利、示利米雅的儿子犹甲、玛基雅的儿子巴示户珥，听见耶利米对众人所说的话，说，

Thus says Jehovah, He who remains in this city will die by sword, by famine, and by pestilence; but he who goes out to the Chaldeans will live and have his own life as spoil and live.
耶和华如此说，留在这城里的，必遭刀剑、饥荒、瘟疫而死；但出去投降迦勒底人的，必得存活，必掠得自己的性命而存活。

Thus says Jehovah, This city will surely be given into the hand of the army of the king of Babylon, and he will capture it.
耶和华如此说，这城必要交在巴比伦王军队的手中，他必攻取这城。

Then the princes said to the king, Now let this man be put to death, because of the way he is weakening the hands of the men of war who are left in this city and the hands of all the people by speaking such words to them; for this man is not seeking the welfare of this people, but their harm.
于是首领对王说，求你将这人治死，因他向城里余剩的军兵和众民说这样的话，使他们的手发软；这人不是求这百姓的平安，乃是叫他们受灾祸。

Then King Zedekiah said, He is now in your hand, for the king can do nothing against you.
西底家王说，他在你们手中，王不能作什么与你们反对。

So they took Jeremiah and cast him into the pit of Malchijah, the king's son, which was in the court of the guard; and they let Jeremiah down with ropes. Now in the pit there was no water but only mire, and Jeremiah sank into the mire.
他们就拿住耶利米，将他扔在王的儿子玛基雅的牢坑里；那牢坑在护卫兵的院中；他们用绳子将耶利米缒下去。牢坑里没有水，只有淤泥；耶利米就陷在淤泥中。

When Ebed-melech the Cushite, a eunuch, heard, while he was in the king's house, that they had put Jeremiah into the pit (now the king was sitting at the Gate of Benjamin),
在王宫里的太监，古实人以伯米勒，听见他们将耶利米下在牢坑里（那时王坐在便雅悯门口），

Ebed-melech went out from the king's house and spoke to the king, saying,
以伯米勒就从王宫里出来，对王说，

O my lord the king, these men have done evil in all that they have done to Jeremiah the prophet, whom they have cast into the pit; and he will die in the place where he is because of the famine, for there is no more bread in the city.
我主我王啊，这些人向申言者耶利米一味地行恶，将他扔在牢坑里；他在那里必因饥荒而死，因为城中再没有粮食。

Then the king commanded Ebed-melech the Cushite, saying, Take from here thirty men with you, and bring Jeremiah the prophet up out of the pit before he dies.
王就吩咐古实人以伯米勒说，你从这里带领三十人，趁着申言者耶利米未死以前，将他从牢坑里提上来。

So Ebed-melech took the men with him and went to the king's house under the treasury and took old rags and worn-out garments from there, and let them down with ropes into the pit to Jeremiah.
于是以伯米勒带领这些人同去，进入王宫，到库房以下，从那里取了些碎布和破烂的衣服，用绳子缒下牢坑，到耶利米那里。

And Ebed-melech the Cushite said to Jeremiah, Put the old rags and garments under your armpits below the ropes. And Jeremiah did so.
古实人以伯米勒对耶利米说，你用这些碎布和破烂的衣服放在绳子上，垫你的胳肢窝。耶利米就照样行了。

So they drew Jeremiah up with the ropes and lifted him out of the pit, and Jeremiah stayed in the court of the guard.
这样，他们用绳子将耶利米从牢坑里拉上来；耶利米仍在护卫兵的院中。

Then King Zedekiah sent men and had Jeremiah the prophet brought to him at the third entrance which is in the house of Jehovah; and the king said to Jeremiah, I am going to ask you something; do not hide anything from me.
西底家王打发人，将申言者耶利米带到耶和华殿中第三入口处见王；王对耶利米说，我要问你一件事，你丝毫不可向我隐瞒。

And Jeremiah said to Zedekiah, If I tell you, indeed will you not put me to death? And if I give you counsel, you will not listen to me.
耶利米对西底家说，我若告诉你，你岂不将我处死么？我若劝戒你，你必不听从我。

Then King Zedekiah swore to Jeremiah secretly, saying, As Jehovah lives, who made these lives of ours, I will not put you to death or give you into the hand of those men who seek your life.
西底家王就私下向耶利米起誓说，我指着那造我们性命之永活的耶和华起誓，我必不将你处死，也不将你交在寻索你命的人手中。

Then Jeremiah said to Zedekiah, Thus says Jehovah the God of hosts, the God of Israel, If you will indeed surrender to the princes of the king of Babylon, you will live, and this city will not be burned with fire, and you and your house will live.
耶利米对西底家说，耶和华万军之神，以色列的神如此说，你若出去投降巴比伦王的首领，你的性命就必存活，这城也不至被火焚烧，你和你的全家都必存活。

But if you do not surrender to the princes of the king of Babylon, this city will be given into the hand of the Chaldeans, and they will burn it with fire, and you will not escape out of their hand.
你若不出去投降巴比伦王的首领，这城必交在迦勒底人手中；他们必用火焚烧，你也不得逃脱他们的手。

Then Zedekiah the king said to Jeremiah, I am afraid of the Jews who have deserted to the Chaldeans, that they will give me into their hand and they will abuse me.
西底家王对耶利米说，我怕那些投降迦勒底人的犹大人，恐怕迦勒底人将我交在他们手中，他们就戏弄我。

And Jeremiah said, They will not give you up. Listen now to the voice of Jehovah in what I am speaking to you, and it will be well with you, and your soul will live.
耶利米说，迦勒底人必不将你交出。求你听从我对你所说耶和华的话；这样，你必得好处，你的性命也必存活。

But if you refuse to surrender, this is the word that Jehovah has shown me:
但你若不肯出去，耶和华指示我的话乃是这样：

Then all the women who have been left in the house of the king of Judah will be brought out to the princes of the king of Babylon, and the women will say concerning the king, Your familiar friends / Have deceived you and prevailed over you; / While your feet sank in the mire, / They turned away from you.
犹大王宫里所剩的妇女，必都带到巴比伦王的首领那里；这些妇女必论到王，说，你知己的朋友欺骗你，胜过了你；你的脚陷入淤泥中，他们就转身离开你了。

And they will lead out all your wives and your sons to the Chaldeans, and you yourself will not escape from their hand but will be seized by the hand of the king of Babylon, and you will cause this city to be burned with fire.
人必将你的后妃和你的儿女，带到迦勒底人那里；你也不得逃脱他们的手，必被巴比伦王的手捉住；你也必使这城被火焚烧。

Then Zedekiah said to Jeremiah, Let no one know of these words, and you will not die.
西底家对耶利米说，不要使人知道这些话，你就不至于死。

But if the princes hear that I have spoken with you and they come to you and say to you, Tell us now what you said to the king; do not hide it from us, and we will not put you to death; now what did the king say to you?
首领若听见了我与你说话，就来见你，对你说，告诉我们，你对王说了什么话，不要向我们隐瞒，我们就不将你处死；王向你说了什么话？

Then you shall say to them, I made my supplication before the king that he would not send me back to the house of Jonathan to die there.
你就要对他们说，我在王面前恳求，不要叫我回到约拿单的房屋死在那里。

Then all the princes came to Jeremiah and asked him. And he told them according to all these words which the king commanded. So they ceased to speak with him, for the matter had not been heard.
随后众首领来见耶利米，并且问他。他就照王所吩咐的这一切话告诉他们。于是他们不再与他说话，因为事情没有被人听见。

So Jeremiah remained in the court of the guard until the day that Jerusalem was captured.
于是耶利米仍在护卫兵的院中，直到耶路撒冷被攻取的日子。
