The Recovery of the Spirit of Man for the Economy of God

Scripture Reading: Gen. 2:7; Zech. 12:1; Prov. 20:27; John 3:6; Rom. 8:16; 1 Cor. 6:17
Ⅰ
God, in the principle of His recovery, brings His chosen ones back to the beginning, back to His original intention in His creation of man—Matt. 19:8; Gen. 1:26; 2:7-12; cf. Amos 3:7:
A
In the "blueprint" of God's original intention, man is the center of the entire universe, and the center of man is his spirit—Zech. 12:1; Gen. 2:7:
1
The heavens are for the earth, the earth is for man, and man was created by God with a spirit that he may contact God, receive God, contain God, worship God, live God, fulfill God's purpose for God, express God, and be one with God—Prov. 20:27; John 4:24; 1 Cor. 6:17.
2
Without God being the Spirit and without us having a spirit to contact God, to be one with God, the whole universe is empty and we are nothing— Eccl. 1:2; 3:11; Job 32:8; cf. 1 Thes. 5:23; Heb. 4:12.
B
Man as a vessel, through the exercise of his spirit, was to receive God in Christ as the tree of life so that life as a river would flow in and out of his innermost being for his transformation into precious materials for God's building, God's eternal expression—Gen. 1:26; 2:7-12, 22; 1 Tim. 4:7-8.
C
The spirit of man is the highest and noblest part of man's being through which he can contact the unseen, spiritual world; the Lord's recovery is to recover us from the seen things in the physical world to the unseen things in the spiritual world by the true worship of God in and with our spirit—Job 12:10; 2 Cor. 4:13, 16-18; John 4:24.
D
The breath of God has become our human spirit, and our spirit is God's lamp to contain God as the oil and to give us light—Gen. 2:7; Prov. 20:27.
E
Man's spirit became a broken lamp through his fall, but through God's recovery in His salvation, man's spirit is regenerated, rebuilt, and reinforced with the vivifying, sevenfold intensified Spirit—John 3:6; Prov. 20:27; Rev. 4:5.
F
The regenerated spirit of man is where the Spirit of God works and where the Lord dwells—Rom. 8:16; 2 Tim. 4:22.
G
The central government and most prominent part of man's being should be his spirit; a man who is ruled and controlled by his spirit is a spiritual man— 1 Cor. 2:14-15; 3:1; 14:32; John 3:6; Eph. 3:16; 1 Pet. 3:4; Dan. 6:3, 10.
H
Whatever we are, whatever we have, and whatever we do must be in spirit; everything that God is to us is in our spirit—Rom. 2:28-29; 1:9; 8:4; 12:11.
Ⅱ
The divine Spirit dwelling in our human spirit and mingled together as one spirit, the mingled spirit, is the strategic and central point of God's economy—1 Cor. 6:17; 1 Tim. 1:4; 2 Cor. 4:13; Eph. 2:22; John 1:51:
A
The great way to fulfill God's economy is for us to live and do everything according to the Spirit by exercising our spirit—Job 10:13; Eph. 3:9; Rom. 8:4; Gal. 5:25.
B
In order for God to carry out His move to deify man for the fulfillment of His economy, we should not take any action, face any situation, or meet any need apart from the all-inclusive Spirit in our spirit; the secret of God's organic salvation is the Spirit with our spirit—Rom. 8:16; Phil. 4:11-13; Psa. 91:1.
C
By the true worship of God in and with our spirit, we can enjoy God the Father as the fountain of life, God the Son as the spring of life, and God the Spirit as the river of life to become the New Jerusalem, the city of life—John 4:24, 14; Jude 19-21, cf. v. 10.
D
When we are in our spirit, we overcome the world, do not sin, and the evil one cannot touch us; whatever is not in the spirit is an idol—1 John 5:4, 18-19, 21.
E
We need to take heed to our spirit, set our mind on the spirit, be reduced to the spirit, and learn how to live absolutely in the spirit for the building up of the church, His Body—Mal. 2:15-16; Rom. 8:6; 2 Cor. 2:10, 13-14; Rev. 1:10.
Ⅲ
The Lord's recovery of the church as the house of God and the kingdom of God can only be realized when we live in our spirit through the exercise of our spirit—Ezra 1:1-5; Hag. 1:14; Eph. 2:22; Rom. 14:17:
A
Christ as the life-giving Spirit can be everything to us when we live in and exercise our spirit; to live in our soul is to live in the principle of antichrist— Zech. 4:6; 12:1; 1 Cor. 15:45b; 6:17; 1 John 2:18.
B
The Lord's recovery is the recovery of the oneness in our spirit; to be in our spirit is to be in Jerusalem, the place of simplicity and oneness, but to be in our mind is to be in Babylon, the place of confusion and division—John 4:24:
1
Our spirit is a "country" of grace to swallow up race for the one new man; our mind is a "country" of quarreling—Gal. 6:18; 5:15; Col. 3:10-11.
2
The uniting bars of the boards of the tabernacle, made of acacia wood overlaid with gold, signify the Holy Spirit as the uniting Spirit mingled with our human spirit—the mingled spirit—Exo. 26:26, 29; Eph. 4:3-4.
3
Whenever we turn to our spirit and exercise our spirit, we touch the Body, because the Body is in our spirit—Eph. 1:17; 2:22; 3:5, 16; 4:23; 5:18; 6:18.
4
"Our spirit" includes the spirits of all the saints, the church is the aggregate of the regenerated spirits of all the saints, and we are saved from individualism when we are in our spirit—Rom. 8:16; Eph. 3:16, 18-19.
5
To hold Christ as the Head is to remain in our spirit, to stay intimately connected to Him; the more we live in our spirit to enjoy Him as the Head, the more we love the members of the Body—Col. 2:19; 1:4, 8; Acts 24:16.
C
We can function as members in the Body for the Body's building up when we live in and exercise our spirit, fanning our God-given spirit into flame—Rom. 1:9; 7:6; 2 Tim. 1:6-8; 1 Cor. 14:4b, 32; Phil. 3:3.
