At that time Jesus went on the Sabbath through the grainfields. And His disciples became hungry and began to pick ears of grain and eat.
那时，耶稣在安息日从麦地经过，祂的门徒饿了，就掐起麦穗来吃。

But the Pharisees, seeing this, said to Him, Behold, Your disciples are doing what is not lawful to do on the Sabbath.
法利赛人看见，就对祂说，看哪，你的门徒在作安息日不可作的事。

But He said to them, Have you not read what David did when he became hungry, and those who were with him;
耶稣却对他们说，大卫和跟从他的人饥饿之时所作的，你们没有念过么？

How he entered into the house of God, and they ate the bread of the Presence, which was not lawful for him to eat, nor for those who were with him, except for the priests only?
他怎样进了神的殿，他们且吃了陈设饼，就是他不可吃，跟从他的人也不可吃，惟独祭司才可吃的。

Or have you not read in the law that on the Sabbath the priests in the temple profane the Sabbath and are guiltless?
再者，律法上记着，当安息日，祭司在殿里渎犯了安息日，还是没有罪，你们没有念过么？

But I say to you that something greater than the temple is here.
但我告诉你们，在这里有比殿更大的。

But if you knew what this means, “I desire mercy and not sacrifice,” you would not have condemned the guiltless.
还有，你们若明白什么是“我要的是怜悯，不是祭祀，”就不会定无罪的为有罪了。

For the Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath.
因为人子是安息日的主。

And departing from there, He came into their synagogue.
于是耶稣离开那里，进了他们的会堂；

And behold, a man who had a withered hand was there. And they asked Him, saying, Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath? so that they might accuse Him.
看哪，有一个人枯干了一只手；有人问耶稣说，在安息日可以治病么？为的是要控告祂。

And He said to them, What man will there be among you who will have one sheep, and if it falls into a pit on the Sabbath, will not take hold of it and lift it out?
祂对他们说，你们中间谁有一只羊，若在安息日掉在坑里，不把它抓住拉上来？

Of how much more value then is a man than a sheep! So then it is lawful to do well on the Sabbath.
人比羊贵重多了；所以在安息日可以行善。

Then He said to the man, Stretch out your hand. And he stretched it out and it was restored, as sound as the other.
于是祂对那人说，伸出手来。他一伸，手就复了原，像另一只手那样的康健。

But the Pharisees, going out, took counsel against Him as to how they might destroy Him.
但法利赛人出去，商议怎样抵挡祂，为要除灭祂。

But Jesus, knowing it, withdrew from there. And many followed Him, and He healed them all;
耶稣知道了，就离开那里。有许多人跟着祂，祂把他们都治好了，

And He charged them not to make Him known,
又嘱咐他们，不要显扬祂。

In order that what was spoken through Isaiah the prophet might be fulfilled, saying,
这是要应验那借着申言者以赛亚所说的，说，

“Behold, My Servant whom I have chosen, My Beloved in whom My soul has found delight. I will put My Spirit upon Him, and He will announce justice to the Gentiles.
“看哪，我的仆人，我所拣选，我所爱，我魂所喜悦的；我要将我的灵放在祂身上，祂必将公理宣布与外邦。

He will not strive nor cry out, nor will anyone hear His voice in the streets.
祂不争竞，不喧嚷，街上也没有人听见祂的声音。

A bruised reed He will not break, and smoking flax He will not quench until He brings forth justice unto victory.
压伤的芦苇，祂不折断；将残的火把，祂不吹灭，直到祂施行公理，至于得胜。

And in His name will the Gentiles hope.”
外邦人都要仰望祂的名。”

And God said to Jacob, Rise up, go up to Bethel, and dwell there; and make an altar there to the God who appeared to you when you fled from your brother Esau.
神对雅各说，起来，上伯特利去，住在那里；要在那里筑一座坛给神，就是你逃避你哥哥以扫的时候向你显现的那位。

Then Jacob said to his household and to all who were with him, Put away the foreign gods that are among you, and purify yourselves, and change your garments.
雅各就对他家中的人，并一切与他同在的人说，你们要除掉你们中间的外邦神像，也要自洁，更换衣裳。

And let us rise up and go up to Bethel, that I may make an altar there to the God who answered me in the day of my distress and has been with me wherever I have gone.
我们要起来，上伯特利去，在那里我要筑一座坛给神，就是在我遭难的日子应允我的祷告，在我所行的路上与我同在的那位。

So they gave Jacob all the foreign gods which were in their hand and the rings which were in their ears, and Jacob hid them under the oak that was near Shechem.
他们就把手中的一切外邦神像和耳朵上的环子，交给雅各；雅各把这些都藏在示剑附近的橡树底下。

And as they journeyed, the terror of God was upon the cities that were around them, so they did not pursue the sons of Jacob.
当他们起行往前时，神使周围城邑的人都惊惧，就不追赶雅各的众子。

And Jacob came to Luz (that is, Bethel), which is in the land of Canaan, he and all the people who were with him.
于是雅各和一切与他同在的人，到了迦南地的路斯，就是伯特利。

And he built an altar there and called the place El-bethel, because there God had revealed Himself to him when he fled from his brother.
他在那里筑了一座坛，并且称那地方为伊勒伯特利，因为当他逃避他哥哥的时候，神在那里向他启示祂自己。

And Deborah, Rebekah's nurse, died, and she was buried below Bethel under the oak; so its name was called Allon-bacuth.
利百加的乳母底波拉死了，就葬在伯特利下边的橡树底下；那棵树名叫亚伦巴古。

And God appeared to Jacob again when he came from Paddan-aram and blessed him.
雅各从巴旦亚兰回来，神又向他显现，赐福与他，

And God said to him, Your name is Jacob; / Your name shall no longer be called Jacob, / But Israel shall be your name. Thus He called his name Israel.
并且对他说，你的名原是雅各，从今以后不要再叫雅各，要叫以色列。这样，神就给他起名叫以色列。

And God said to him, I am the All-sufficient God: / Be fruitful and multiply; / A nation and a company of nations shall come from you, / And kings shall come forth from your loins.
神又对他说，我是全足的神；你要繁衍增多，将来有一国，有多民从你而生，又有君王从你腰中而出。

And the land which I gave to Abraham and to Isaac, / I will give to you; / And I will give the land to your seed after you.
我所赐给亚伯拉罕和以撒的地，我要赐给你；我也要把这地赐给你的后裔。

Then God went up from him in the place where He had spoken with him.
神就从祂与雅各说话的地方，离开他升上去了。

And Jacob set up a pillar in the place where He had spoken with him, a pillar of stone; and he poured out a drink offering on it and poured oil on it.
雅各便在神与他说话的地方立了一根石柱，在柱上浇了奠祭，并且浇上油。

And Jacob called the name of the place where God had spoken with him Bethel.
雅各就给神与他说话的地方起名叫伯特利。

And they journeyed from Bethel. And while there was still some distance to come to Ephrath, Rachel began to give birth; and she had hard labor.
他们从伯特利起行，离以法他还有一段路程，拉结临产甚是艰难。

And while she was in hardest labor, the midwife said to her, Do not be afraid, for now you have another son.
正在艰难的时候，接生妇对她说，不要怕，你又要得一个儿子了。

And as her soul was departing (for she died), she called his name Ben-oni; but his father called him Benjamin.
她将近于死，魂要离开的时候，就给她儿子起名叫便俄尼；他父亲却给他起名叫便雅悯。

So Rachel died and was buried on the way to Ephrath (that is, Bethlehem).
拉结死了，葬在通往以法他的路旁；以法他就是伯利恒。

And Jacob set up a pillar on her grave; that is the pillar of Rachel's grave, which is there to this day.
雅各在她的坟上立了一个碑，就是拉结的墓碑，到今日还在。

And Israel journeyed and pitched his tent beyond the tower of Eder.
以色列起行前往，在以得台的那一边支搭帐棚。

And while Israel dwelt in that land, Reuben went and lay with Bilhah his father's concubine, and Israel heard of it. Now the sons of Jacob were twelve:
以色列住在那地的时候，流便去与他父亲的妾辟拉同寝，以色列也听见了。雅各共有十二个儿子。

The sons of Leah: Reuben, Jacob's firstborn, and Simeon and Levi and Judah and Issachar and Zebulun.
利亚所生的是雅各的长子流便，还有西缅、利未、犹大、以萨迦、西布伦。

The sons of Rachel: Joseph and Benjamin.
拉结所生的是约瑟、便雅悯。

And the sons of Bilhah, Rachel's female servant: Dan and Naphtali.
拉结的使女辟拉所生的是但、拿弗他利。

And the sons of Zilpah, Leah's female servant: Gad and Asher. These are the sons of Jacob, who were born to him in Paddan-aram.
利亚的使女悉帕所生的是迦得、亚设。这些是雅各在巴旦亚兰所生的儿子。

And Jacob came to Isaac his father at Mamre, at Kiriath-arba (that is, Hebron), where Abraham and Isaac had sojourned.
雅各来到他父亲以撒那里，到了基列亚巴的幔利，乃是亚伯拉罕和以撒寄居的地方；基列亚巴就是希伯仑。

And the days of Isaac were a hundred and eighty years.
以撒共活了一百八十岁。

And Isaac expired and died and was gathered to his people, an old man and full of days; and Esau and Jacob his sons buried him.
以撒年纪老迈，日子满足，气绝而死，归到他本民那里；他两个儿子以扫、雅各把他埋葬了。

Now these are the generations of Esau (that is, Edom).
以扫就是以东，他的后代记在下面：

Esau took his wives from the daughters of Canaan: Adah the daughter of Elon the Hittite; and Oholibamah the daughter of Anah and granddaughter of Zibeon the Hivite;
以扫娶迦南的女子为妻，就是赫人以伦的女儿亚大，和希未人祭便的孙女，亚拿的女儿阿何利巴玛，

And Basemath Ishmael's daughter, the sister of Nebaioth.
又娶了以实玛利的女儿，尼拜约的妹妹巴实抹。

And Adah bore Eliphaz to Esau, and Basemath bore Reuel,
亚大给以扫生了以利法；巴实抹生了流珥；

And Oholibamah bore Jeush and Jalam and Korah. These are the sons of Esau, who were born to him in the land of Canaan.
阿何利巴玛生了耶乌施、雅兰、可拉。这些都是以扫的儿子，是在迦南地生的。

And Esau took his wives and his sons and his daughters and all his household and his livestock and all his cattle and all his possessions which he had acquired in the land of Canaan, and he went into a land away from his brother Jacob.
以扫带着他的妻子、儿女与家中一切的人口，并他的牛羊、牲畜和一切财物，就是他在迦南地所得的，往别地去，离开了他的弟弟雅各。

For their property was too great for them to dwell together, and the land where they sojourned could not sustain them because of their livestock.
因为二人的家产甚多，使他们不能同住一起，他们的群畜太多，寄居的地容不下他们。

And Esau dwelt in Mount Seir; Esau is Edom.
于是以扫住在西珥山；以扫就是以东。

And these are the generations of Esau the father of the Edomites in Mount Seir:
以扫是西珥山以东人的始祖，他的后代记在下面。

These are the names of Esau's sons: Eliphaz the son of Esau's wife Adah, Reuel the son of Esau's wife Basemath.
以扫众子的名字如下：以扫的妻子亚大生以利法；以扫的妻子巴实抹生流珥。

And the sons of Eliphaz were Teman, Omar, Zepho, and Gatam and Kenaz.
以利法的儿子是提幔、阿抹、洗玻、迦坦、基纳斯。

And Timna was a concubine to Eliphaz, Esau's son, and she bore Amalek to Eliphaz. These are the sons of Esau's wife Adah.
亭纳是以扫儿子以利法的妾；她给以利法生了亚玛力。这些是以扫妻子亚大的子孙。

And these are the sons of Reuel: Nahath and Zerah, Shammah and Mizzah. These were the sons of Esau's wife Basemath.
流珥的儿子是拿哈、谢拉、沙玛、米撒。这些是以扫妻子巴实抹的子孙。

And these were the sons of Oholibamah the daughter of Anah and granddaughter of Zibeon, Esau's wife: And she bore to Esau Jeush and Jalam and Korah.

可拉族、迦坦族、亚玛力族。这些是在以东地从以利法所出的各族，都是亚大的子孙。

And these are the sons of Reuel, Esau's son: Clan Nahath, Clan Zerah, Clan Shammah, Clan Mizzah; these are the clans of Reuel in the land of Edom. These are the sons of Basemath, Esau's wife.
以扫的儿子流珥的子孙中，有拿哈族、谢拉族、沙玛族、米撒族。这些是在以东地从流珥所出的各族，都是以扫妻子巴实抹的子孙。

And these are the sons of Oholibamah, Esau's wife: Clan Jeush, Clan Jalam, Clan Korah. These are the clans of Oholibamah the daughter of Anah, Esau's wife.
以扫妻子阿何利巴玛的子孙中，有耶乌施族、雅兰族、可拉族。这些是从以扫的妻子，亚拿的女儿，阿何利巴玛所出的各族。

These are the sons of Esau (that is, Edom), and these are their clans.
以上的各族都是以扫的子孙；以扫就是以东。

These are the sons of Seir the Horite, the inhabitants of the land: Lotan and Shobal and Zibeon and Anah
那地原有的居民，何利人西珥的子孙记在下面，就是罗坍、朔巴、祭便、亚拿、

And Dishon and Ezer and Dishan; these are the clans of the Horites, the children of Seir in the land of Edom.
底顺、以察、底珊。这些是从以东地西珥的子孙，何利人中所出的族长。

And the sons of Lotan were Hori and Heman; and Lotan's sister was Timna.
罗坍的儿子是何利、希幔；罗坍的妹妹是亭纳。

And these are the sons of Shobal: Alvan and Manahath and Ebal, Shepho and Onam.
朔巴的儿子是亚勒文、玛拿辖、以巴录、示玻、阿南。

And these are the sons of Zibeon: Aiah and Anah. This is the Anah who found the hot springs in the wilderness as he fed the donkeys of Zibeon his father.

And these are the children of Anah: Dishon and Oholibamah the daughter of Anah.

Now Bela the son of Beor reigned in Edom, and the name of his city was Dinhabah.
比珥的儿子比拉在以东作王，他的京城名叫亭哈巴。

And Bela died, and Jobab the son of Zerah of Bozrah reigned in his place.
比拉死了，波斯拉人谢拉的儿子约巴接续他作王。

And Jobab died, and Husham of the land of the Temanites reigned in his place.

Clan Magdiel, Clan Iram. These are the clans of Edom according to their habitations in the land of their possession. This is Esau the father of the Edomites.
