Now concerning the things which I am writing to you, behold, before God, I am not lying.

Yet I was still unknown by face to the churches of Judea, which are in Christ.

不过听说，那从前一直逼迫他们的，现在将他原先所损毁的信仰当作福音传扬。

只是听说过：“那曾经迫害我们的，如今却传扬他曾经想消灭的信仰了。”

然后他们只是听说，“那位先前逼迫我们的，现在他传扬…那信仰”。他曾经毁灭

μόνον δὲ ἀκούοντες ἦσαν ὅτι Ὁ διώκων ἡμᾶς ποτε νῦν εὐαγγελίζεται τὴν πίστιν ἥν ποτε ἐπόρθει,

But they only heard this: He who was formerly persecuting us is now announcing as the gospel the faith which formerly he ravaged.

But they had heard only, That he which persecuted us in times past now preacheth the faith which once he destroyed.

only they were hearing that he who persecuted us formerly now announces the glad tidings of the faith which formerly he ravaged:

and only they were hearing, that 'he who is persecuting us then, doth now proclaim good news -- the faith that then he was wasting;'

They only heard the report: "The man who formerly persecuted us is now preaching the faith he once tried to destroy."

他们就因着我荣耀神。
