But Jehovah said to me, / Do not say, I am a youth; / For everywhere I send you, you shall go; / And everything I command you, you shall speak.

But the Lord said to me, "Do not say, 'I am only a child.' You must go to everyone I send you to and say whatever I command you.

Do not be afraid of their faces, / For I am with you to deliver you, declares Jehovah.

וַיִּשְׁלַ֤ח יְהוָה֙ אֶת־יָדֹ֔ו וַיַּגַּ֖ע עַל־פִּ֑י וַיֹּ֤אמֶר יְהוָה֙ אֵלַ֔י הִנֵּ֛ה נָתַ֥תִּי דְבָרַ֖י בְּפִֽיךָ׃

Then Jehovah stretched out His hand and touched my mouth; and Jehovah said to me, Now I have put My words in your mouth.

Then the LORD put forth his hand, and touched my mouth. And the LORD said unto me, Behold, I have put my words in thy mouth.

看，我今天委派你对万民和列国，执行拔除、破坏、毁灭、推翻、建设和栽培的任务。”

瞧吧，我今日立了你来管列邦列国，是要拔除，要拆毁，要毁灭，要倾覆，要建立，要栽植。”

看哪，我今日立你．在列邦列国之上，为要施行拔出，拆毁，毁坏，倾覆，又要建立，栽植。

רְאֵ֞ה הִפְקַדְתִּ֣יךָ׀ הַיֹּ֣ום הַזֶּ֗ה עַל־הַגֹּויִם֙ וְעַל־הַמַּמְלָכֹ֔ות לִנְתֹ֥ושׁ וְלִנְתֹ֖וץ וּלְהַאֲבִ֣ידוְלַהֲרֹ֑וס לִבְנֹ֖ות וְלִנְטֹֽועַ׃ פ

See, I have appointed you this day / Over the nations and over the kingdoms / To pluck up and to break down, / To destroy and to tear down, / To build up and to plant.

See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant.

See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to pluck up, and to break down, and to destroy, and to overthrow, to build and to plant.

See, I have charged thee this day concerning the nations, and concerning the kingdoms, to pluck up, and to break down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant.'

See, today I appoint you over nations and kingdoms to uproot and tear down, to destroy and overthrow, to build and to plant."

Then the word of Jehovah came to me, saying, What do you see, Jeremiah? And I said, I see a rod of an almond tree.

Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, Jeremiah, what seest thou? And I said, I see a rod of an almond tree.

The word of the Lord came to me: "What do you see, Jeremiah?" "I see the branch of an almond tree," I replied.

耶和华对我说，你看得不错；因为我留意我的话，使其成就。

上主对我说：“你看的对，因为我要警醒，看我的话怎样实现。”

雅威对我说：“你看得不错；因为我要留意我的话，使它成就。”

וַיֹּ֧אמֶר יְהוָ֛ה אֵלַ֖י הֵיטַ֣בְתָּ לִרְאֹ֑ות כִּֽי־שֹׁקֵ֥ד אֲנִ֛י עַל־דְּבָרִ֖י לַעֲשֹׂתֹֽו׃ פ

And Jehovah said to me, You have seen well, for I am watching over My word to perform it.

Then said the LORD unto me, Thou hast well seen: for I will hasten my word to perform it.

And Jehovah said unto me, Thou hast well seen; for I am watchful over my word to perform it.

And Jehovah saith unto me, 'Thou hast well seen: for I am watching over My word to do it.'

The Lord said to me, "You have seen correctly, for I am watching to see that my word is fulfilled."

וַיְהִ֨י דְבַר־יְהוָ֤ה׀ אֵלַי֙ שֵׁנִ֣ית לֵאמֹ֔ר מָ֥ה אַתָּ֖ה רֹאֶ֑ה וָאֹמַ֗ר סִ֤יר נָפ֨וּחַ֙ אֲנִ֣י רֹאֶ֔ה וּפָנָ֖יומִפְּנֵ֥י צָפֹֽונָה׃

Then the word of Jehovah came to me a second time, saying, What do you see? And I said, I see a boiling pot, and it is facing away from the north.

And the word of the LORD came unto me the second time, saying, What seest thou? And I said, I see a seething pot; and the face thereof is toward the north.

And the word of Jehovah came to me the second time, saying, What seest thou? And I said, I see a seething-pot, and its face is from the north.

And there is a word of Jehovah unto me a second time, saying, 'What art thou seeing?' And I say, 'A blown pot I am seeing, and its face is from the north.'

The word of the Lord came to me again: "What do you see?" "I see a boiling pot, tilting away from the north," I answered.

And Jehovah said to me, Out of the north evil will be let loose upon all the inhabitants of the land.

Then the LORD said unto me, Out of the north an evil shall break forth upon all the inhabitants of the land.

And Jehovah saith unto me, 'From the north is the evil loosed against all inhabitants of the land.

The Lord said to me, "From the north disaster will be poured out on all who live in the land.

耶和华说，我要召北方列国的众族；他们要来，各安座位在耶路撒冷的城门口，周围攻击城墙，又要攻击犹大的一切城邑。

因为，你看吧，永恒主发神谕说：我必召北方列国的众族；他们必来，各安座位在耶路撒冷的城门口，周围攻击所有的城墙，攻击犹大所有的城。

וְדִבַּרְתִּ֤י מִשְׁפָּטַי֙ אֹותָ֔ם עַ֖ל כָּל־רָעָתָ֑ם אֲשֶׁ֣ר עֲזָב֗וּנִי וַֽיְקַטְּרוּ֙ לֵאלֹהִ֣ים אֲחֵרִ֔ים וַיִּֽשְׁתַּחֲו֖וּלְמַעֲשֵׂ֥י יְדֵיהֶֽם׃

And I will utter My judgment on them concerning all their wickedness by which they have forsaken Me and have burned incense to other gods and have worshipped the works of their own hands.

וְאַתָּה֙ תֶּאְזֹ֣ר מָתְנֶ֔יךָ וְקַמְתָּ֙ וְדִבַּרְתָּ֣ אֲלֵיהֶ֔ם אֵ֛ת כָּל־אֲשֶׁ֥ר אָנֹכִ֖י אֲצַוֶּ֑ךָּ אַל־תֵּחַת֙מִפְּנֵיהֶ֔ם פֶּֽן־אֲחִתְּךָ֖ לִפְנֵיהֶֽם׃

You therefore gird up your loins, and rise up and speak to them everything that I command you. Do not be dismayed before them, lest I dismay you in their presence.

我今日使你成为坚城、铁柱、铜墙，抵挡全地，就是抵挡犹大的君王、首领、祭司并这地的众民。

看啊，我今天使你成为坚城、铜墙、铁壁，以对抗犹大君王和首领，司祭和当地的人民。

而我呢、看哪，我今日乃是使你成为堡垒城，成为铁柱、铜墙、以抵御全地，敌挡犹大的列王和首领、她的祭司、和国内的众民。

看哪，我今日使你成为．坚城、铁柱、铜墙，攻击全地和犹大的君王、首领、祭司，并地上的众民。

וַאֲנִ֞י הִנֵּ֧ה נְתַתִּ֣יךָ הַיֹּ֗ום לְעִ֨יר מִבְצָ֜ר וּלְעַמּ֥וּד בַּרְזֶ֛ל וּלְחֹמֹ֥ות נְחֹ֖שֶׁת עַל־כָּל־הָאָ֑רֶץלְמַלְכֵ֤י יְהוּדָה֙ לְשָׂרֶ֔יהָ לְכֹהֲנֶ֖יהָ וּלְעַ֥ם הָאָֽרֶץ׃

And I am now making you today into a fortified city and into an iron pillar and into bronze walls against the whole land, against the kings of Judah, against its princes, against its priests, and against the people of the land.

For, behold, I have made thee this day a defenced city, and an iron pillar, and brasen walls against the whole land, against the kings of Judah, against the princes thereof, against the priests thereof, and against the people of the land.

And I, behold, I appoint thee this day as a strong city, and an iron pillar, and brazen walls, against the whole land; against the kings of Judah, against its princes, against its priests, and against the people of the land.

And I, lo, I have given thee this day for a fenced city, and for an iron pillar, and for brazen walls over all the land, to the kings of Judah, to its heads, to its priests, and to the people of the land;

Today I have made you a fortified city, an iron pillar and a bronze wall to stand against the whole land-against the kings of Judah, its officials, its priests and the people of the land.

וְנִלְחֲמ֥וּ אֵלֶ֖יךָ וְלֹא־י֣וּכְלוּ לָ֑ךְ כִּֽי־אִתְּךָ֥ אֲנִ֛י נְאֻם־יְהוָ֖ה לְהַצִּילֶֽךָ׃ פ

And they will fight against you, but they will not prevail against you; for I am with you, declares Jehovah, to deliver you.

And they shall fight against thee; but they shall not prevail against thee; for I am with thee, saith the LORD, to deliver thee.
