你起来往尼尼微大城去，向那城的居民呼喊，因为他们的恶已经达到我面前。

Arise, go to Nineveh, the great city, and cry out against it, for their evil has come up before Me.

约拿却起来，逃往他施去躲避耶和华的面；他下到约帕，遇见一只船，要往他施去。他就给了船价，下到船里，要与船上的人同往他施去，躲避耶和华的面。

但是约拿却起来，逃往他施去避永恒主的面；他下到约帕，遇见了一只船要往他施；他给了船费，就下船，要和他们同往与船上的人同往他施、去避永恒主的面。

But Jonah rose up to flee to Tarshish from the presence of Jehovah, and he went down to Joppa and found a ship going to Tarshish. So he paid the fare for it and went down into it to go with them to Tarshish from the presence of Jehovah.

But Jonah ran away from the Lord and headed for Tarshish. He went down to Joppa, where he found a ship bound for that port. After paying the fare, he went aboard and sailed for Tarshish to flee from the Lord .

然而耶和华使海中刮起大风，海就风浪大作，船几乎破坏。

但是耶和华在海上忽然刮起大风，于是海中狂风大作，船几乎要破裂了。

但是上主却使海上起了大风，海中风浪大作，那只船眼看就要被击破。

然而永恒主却将大风抛掷在海上，海上就起了大风暴；船很像要破坏的样子。

雅威用力抛了一阵大风到海上，海里就出现很大的暴风，船几乎破裂。

וַֽיהוָ֗ה הֵטִ֤יל רֽוּחַ־גְּדֹולָה֙ אֶל־הַיָּ֔ם וַיְהִ֥י סַֽעַר־גָּדֹ֖ול בַּיָּ֑ם וְהָ֣אֳנִיָּ֔ה חִשְּׁבָ֖ה לְהִשָּׁבֵֽר׃

But Jehovah hurled a great wind toward the sea, and there was a great tempest on the sea, and the ship seemed to be about to break up.

But the LORD sent out a great wind into the sea, and there was a mighty tempest in the sea, so that the ship was like to be broken.

水手便惧怕，各人哀求自己的神。他们将船上的物件抛在海中，为要使船轻些。约拿却已下到底舱，躺卧沉睡。

Then the mariners became afraid, and each called out to his god. And they cast out the equipment that was on the ship into the sea to lighten themselves of it. But Jonah had gone down into the innermost part of the vessel and lain down and fallen fast asleep.

船长到他那里对他说，你怎么还这样沉睡呢？起来，呼求你的神。或者神顾念我们，使我们不至灭亡。

于是船长去找他，对他说：“沉睡的人哪，你为什么这样？起来，呼求你的神，或者那神想念到我们，使我们不至于灭亡啊。”

船长到他那里对他说：“你怎么如此沉睡呢？起来，求告你的神，或者神顾念我们，我们就不致死亡。”

וַיִּקְרַ֤ב אֵלָיו֙ רַ֣ב הַחֹבֵ֔ל וַיֹּ֥אמֶר לֹ֖ו מַה־לְּךָ֣ נִרְדָּ֑ם ק֚וּם קְרָ֣א אֶל־אֱלֹהֶ֔יךָ אוּלַ֞י יִתְעַשֵּׁ֧תהָאֱלֹהִ֛ים לָ֖נוּ וְלֹ֥א נֹאבֵֽד׃

So the ship captain approached him and said to him, How can you be fast asleep? Arise, call on your God. Perhaps God will give thought to us, and we will not perish.

So the shipmaster came to him, and said unto him, What meanest thou, O sleeper? arise, call upon thy God, if so be that God will think upon us, that we perish not.

And the shipmaster came to him, and said unto him, What meanest thou, sleeper? arise, call upon thy God; perhaps God will think upon us, that we perish not.

And the chief of the company draweth near to him, and saith to him, 'What -- to thee, O sleeper? rise, call unto thy God, it may be God doth bethink himself of us, and we do not perish.'

The captain went to him and said, "How can you sleep? Get up and call on your god! Maybe he will take notice of us, and we will not perish."

大家就彼此说：“来，我们来拈阄，看这灾祸临到我们、是因谁的缘故。”于是他们就掣签拈阄，便拈出约拿来。

船上的人彼此说：“来吧，让我们来抽签，好让我们知道这灾临到我们是因谁的缘故。”于是他们就抽签，签落在约拿身上。

וַיֹּאמְר֞וּ אִ֣ישׁ אֶל־רֵעֵ֗הוּ לְכוּ֙ וְנַפִּ֣ילָה גֹֽורָלֹ֔ות וְנֵ֣דְעָ֔ה בְּשֶׁלְּמִ֛י הָרָעָ֥ה הַזֹּ֖את לָ֑נוּ וַיַּפִּ֨לוּ֙גֹּֽורָלֹ֔ות וַיִּפֹּ֥ל הַגֹּורָ֖ל עַל־יֹונָֽה׃

And each man said to his companion, Come, let us cast lots that we may know on whose account this misfortune has befallen us. So they cast lots, and the lot fell on Jonah.

众人对他说，请你告诉我们，这灾临到我们是因谁的缘故？你以何事为业？你从哪里来？你是哪一国，属哪一族的人？

他们就对约拿说：“请告诉我们，这场灾祸临到我们，是因谁的缘故？你是作什么的？你从哪里来？你是哪一国的人？哪一族的人？”

他们向他说：“请告诉我们：我们遇到这场灾祸，是因什么缘故？你是干什么的？从哪里来？你是什么地方的人？属于那一个民族？”

众人对他说：“请告诉我们这灾祸临到我们、是因谁的缘故？你作的什么职业？你从哪里来？你本国在什么地方？你是属于哪一族之民的？”

他们对他说：“请你告诉我们，这灾祸临到我们是因谁的缘故呢？你的职业是什么？你从哪里来？你是哪一国的人？你从哪一族而来？”

וַיֹּאמְר֣וּ אֵלָ֔יו הַגִּידָה־נָּ֣א לָ֔נוּ בַּאֲשֶׁ֛ר לְמִי־הָרָעָ֥ה הַזֹּ֖את לָ֑נוּ מַה־מְּלַאכְתְּךָ֙ וּמֵאַ֣יִןתָּבֹ֔וא מָ֣ה אַרְצֶ֔ךָ וְאֵֽי־מִזֶּ֥ה עַ֖ם אָֽתָּה׃

Then they said to him, Tell us now, On whose account has this misfortune befallen us? What is your occupation? And where do you come from? What is your country? And of what people are you?

Then said they unto him, Tell us, we pray thee, for whose cause this evil is upon us; What is thine occupation? and whence comest thou? what is thy country? and of what people art thou?

And they said unto him, Tell us, we pray thee, for whose cause this evil is upon us: what is thine occupation? and whence comest thou? what is thy country? and of what people art thou?

And they say unto him, 'Declare to us, we pray thee, on what account this evil is on us? what is thine occupation, and whence comest thou? what is thy country, seeing thou art not of this people?'

So they asked him, "Tell us, who is responsible for making all this trouble for us? What do you do? Where do you come from? What is your country? From what people are you?"

他说，我是希伯来人；我敬畏耶和华，那造沧海和旱地之天上的神。

他说：“我是希伯来人。我敬畏耶和华那创造沧海旱地之天上的神。”

他回答说：“我是希伯来人，我敬畏耶和华天上的神，就是那创造海洋和陆地的。”

他回答他们说：“我是个希伯来人，我敬畏的，是那创造海洋和陆地的上天的上主天主。”

他对他们说：“我是个希伯来人；我敬畏的是耶和华，天上的上帝、那造大海和旱地的。”

他说：“我是希伯来人，我敬畏雅威，…天上的神。”就是那创造沧海陆地之

וַיֹּ֥אמֶר אֲלֵיהֶ֖ם עִבְרִ֣י אָנֹ֑כִי וְאֶת־יְהוָ֞ה אֱלֹהֵ֤י הַשָּׁמַ֨יִם֙ אֲנִ֣י יָרֵ֔א אֲשֶׁר־עָשָׂ֥ה אֶת־הַיָּ֖םוְאֶת־הַיַּבָּשָֽׁה׃

And he said to them, I am a Hebrew, and I fear Jehovah, the God of the heavens, who made the sea and the dry land.

He answered, "I am a Hebrew and I worship the Lord , the God of heaven, who made the sea and the land."

那些人就大大惧怕，对他说，你作的是什么事呢？原来那些人已经知道他躲避耶和华的面，因为他告诉了他们。

他们就大大惧怕，对他说：“你作的是什么事呢？”他们已经知道他躲避耶和华，因为他告诉了他们。

众人就大大惧怕，对他说：“你为什么这样作呢？（“你为什么这样作呢？”或译：“你作的是什么呢？”）”那些人知道他躲避耶和华，原来约拿告诉了他们。

那些人都很害怕，就对他说：“怎么你作了这事？”人们都知道，他是从天主面前逃跑的，因为他已经告诉了他们。

那些人就大大惧怕，对他说：“你干的这事是什么事啊！原来那些人已经知道他是避永恒主之面的，因为他告诉了他们了。

那些人就大大惧怕，对他说：“你这做的是什么事呢？”原来这些人已经知道．他在躲避雅威，因为他告诉了他们。

וַיִּֽירְא֤וּ הָֽאֲנָשִׁים֙ יִרְאָ֣ה גְדֹולָ֔ה וַיֹּאמְר֥וּ אֵלָ֖יו מַה־זֹּ֣את עָשִׂ֑יתָ כִּֽי־יָדְע֣וּ הָאֲנָשִׁ֗יםכִּֽי־מִלִּפְנֵ֤י יְהוָה֙ ה֣וּא בֹרֵ֔חַ כִּ֥י הִגִּ֖יד לָהֶֽם׃

And the men became greatly afraid and said to him, What is this that you have done? For the men knew that he was fleeing from the presence of Jehovah, because he had told them so.

Then were the men exceedingly afraid, and said unto him, Why hast thou done this? For the men knew that he fled from the presence of the LORD, because he had told them.

Then were the men exceedingly afraid, and said unto him, What is this thou hast done? For the men knew that he fled from the presence of Jehovah: for he had told them.

And the men fear a great fear, and say unto him, 'What is this thou hast done!' for the men have known that from the face of Jehovah he is fleeing, for he hath told them.

This terrified them and they asked, "What have you done?" (They knew he was running away from the Lord , because he had already told them so.)

他们问他说，我们当向你怎样行，使海为我们平静下来呢？这是因为海越发翻腾。

他们问他说：“我们当向你怎样行，使海浪平静呢？”这话是因海浪越发翻腾。

因为海浪越来越汹涌，他们又对他说：“我们该怎样处置你，才能叫海浪平静呢？”

他们就问他说：“我们应该怎样处置你，使海浪平静下来、而不冲撞我们？”这是因为海越来越翻腾着。

他们就对他说：“我们当向你怎样做，使海浪离开我们身上而平静呢？”因暴风浪愈来愈大。

וַיֹּאמְר֤וּ אֵלָיו֙ מַה־נַּ֣עֲשֶׂה לָּ֔ךְ וְיִשְׁתֹּ֥ק הַיָּ֖ם מֵֽעָלֵ֑ינוּ כִּ֥י הַיָּ֖ם הֹולֵ֥ךְ וְסֹעֵֽר׃

And they said to him, What shall we do with you that the sea may be quiet for us? For the sea grew more and more tempestuous.

Then said they unto him, What shall we do unto thee, that the sea may be calm unto us? for the sea wrought, and was tempestuous.

And they said unto him, What shall we do unto thee, that the sea may be calm unto us? for the sea grew more and more tempestuous.

And they say unto him, 'What do we do to thee that the sea may cease from us, for the sea is more and more tempestuous?'

The sea was getting rougher and rougher. So they asked him, "What should we do to you to make the sea calm down for us?"

他对他们说，你们将我抬起来，抛进海里，海就会为你们平静下来；我知道你们遭这大风浪，是因我的缘故。

他便对他们说：“你们将我抬起、抛掷在海中，海就平静下来、不冲撞你们了；因为我知道这场大风暴临到你们、是因我的缘故。”

他对他们说：“你们将我抬起来，用力抛进海中，海就会在你们身上平静了；我知道．你们遭遇这么大的暴风浪是因我的缘故。”

וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֲלֵיהֶ֗ם שָׂא֨וּנִי֙ וַהֲטִילֻ֣נִי אֶל־הַיָּ֔ם וְיִשְׁתֹּ֥ק הַיָּ֖ם מֵֽעֲלֵיכֶ֑ם כִּ֚י יֹודֵ֣עַ אָ֔נִי כִּ֣יבְשֶׁלִּ֔י הַסַּ֧עַר הַגָּדֹ֛ול הַזֶּ֖ה עֲלֵיכֶֽם׃

Then he said to them, Lift me up and cast me into the sea, and the sea will be quiet for you. For I know that it is on my account that this great tempest has come upon you.

And he said unto them, Take me up, and cast me forth into the sea; so shall the sea be calm unto you: for I know that for my sake this great tempest is upon you.

And he said unto them, Take me up, and cast me forth into the sea; so shall the sea be calm unto you: for I know that because of me this great tempest is upon you.

And he saith unto them, 'Lift me up, and cast me into the sea, and the sea doth cease from you; for I know that on my account this great tempest is upon you.'

Pick me up and throw me into the sea, he replied, "and it will become calm. I know that it is my fault that this great storm has come upon you."

然而那些人竭力摇桨，要回到旱地，却是不能，因为海越发向他们翻腾。

然而那些人竭力荡桨，要把船拢岸，却是不能，因为海浪越发向他们翻腾。

那些人虽然破浪挣扎，要把船靠岸，却是不能，因为海浪不断汹涌扑来。

众人虽然尽力摇橹，想回到海岸，却是不能，因为海上风暴，越来越汹涌。

然而那些人却竭力才桨、要把船拢岸，仍然不能；因为海越来越翻腾而冲撞着他们。

那些人竭力摇桨，要把船转回陆地，却是不能，因暴风浪愈来愈大，扑向他们。

וַיַּחְתְּר֣וּ הָאֲנָשִׁ֗ים לְהָשִׁ֛יב אֶל־הַיַּבָּשָׁ֖ה וְלֹ֣א יָכֹ֑לוּ כִּ֣י הַיָּ֔ם הֹולֵ֥ךְ וְסֹעֵ֖ר עֲלֵיהֶֽם׃

Nevertheless the men rowed hard to get back to the dry land, but they could not, because the sea grew more and more tempestuous against them.

他们便呼求耶和华说，耶和华啊，我们恳求你，不要因这人的性命使我们灭亡；不要使流无辜血的罪归与我们；因为你耶和华是照自己所喜悦的行事。

他们便求告耶和华说：“耶和华啊，我们恳求你，不要因这人的性命使我们死亡，不要使流无辜血的罪归与我们，因为你耶和华是随自己的意旨行事。”

他们就呼求耶和华，说：“耶和华啊！我们恳求你，不要因这人叫我们丧命；不要把无辜人的血归在我们身上，因为你耶和华是照自己所喜悦的行事。”

所以他们便呼求上主说：“上主！求你不要因这一个人的性命，使我们全都丧亡；不要将无辜者的血，归在我们身上，因为你是上主，就按你的意愿作吧！”

他们便呼求永恒主说：“哦永恒主啊，求你不要因这人的性命而使我们灭亡哦！不要使流无辜人之血的罪归于我们哦！因为永恒主啊、是你照自己的旨意主动这事的。”

他们就求告雅威说：“唉，雅威啊，求你不要因这人的性命使我们死亡，不要使流无辜血的罪归与我们；因为你──雅威是照你所喜悦的而行。”

וַיִּקְרְא֨וּ אֶל־יְהוָ֜ה וַיֹּאמְר֗וּ אָנָּ֤ה יְהוָה֙ אַל־נָ֣א נֹאבְדָ֗ה בְּנֶ֨פֶשׁ֙ הָאִ֣ישׁ הַזֶּ֔ה וְאַל־תִּתֵּ֥ןעָלֵ֖ינוּ דָּ֣ם נָקִ֑יא כִּֽי־אַתָּ֣ה יְהוָ֔ה כַּאֲשֶׁ֥ר חָפַ֖צְתָּ עָשִֽׂיתָ׃

And they cried out to Jehovah and said, Ah, Jehovah, let us not perish, we pray, for this man's life, and do not put innocent blood upon us; for You, Jehovah, have done as You pleased.

Wherefore they cried unto the LORD, and said, We beseech thee, O LORD, we beseech thee, let us not perish for this man's life, and lay not upon us innocent blood: for thou, O LORD, hast done as it pleased thee.

And they cried unto Jehovah and said, Ah, Jehovah, we beseech thee, let us not perish for this man's life, and lay not upon us innocent blood: for thou, Jehovah, hast done as it pleased thee.

And they cry unto Jehovah, and say, 'We pray Thee, O Jehovah, let us not, we pray Thee, perish for this man's life, and do not lay on us innocent blood, for Thou, Jehovah, as Thou hast pleased, Thou hast done.'

Then they cried to the Lord , "O Lord , please do not let us die for taking this man's life. Do not hold us accountable for killing an innocent man, for you, O Lord , have done as you pleased."

And the men were greatly afraid of Jehovah, and they offered a sacrifice to Jehovah and vowed vows.
