During that night God appeared to Solomon and said to him, Ask what I should give you.

And Solomon said to God, You have shown great lovingkindness to David my father and have made me king in his place.

Solomon answered God, "You have shown great kindness to David my father and have made me king in his place.

耶和华神啊，现在求你使你向我父亲大卫所说的话得以实现；因你立我作这民的王，他们如同地上的尘沙那样多。

耶和华神啊，现在求你成就向我父大卫所应许的话，因你立我作这民的王，他们如同地上尘沙那样多。

耶和华神啊，现在求你实现你向我的父亲大卫应许的话；因为你立了我作王统治这好像地上的尘土那么多的人民。

上主，天主！现在唯愿你向我父达味应许的话得以实现，因为你已立了我为王，治理一个多如地上尘沙的民族。

永恒主上帝啊，现在求你使你向我父大卫所应许的话得证实吧；因为你立了我作王来管理的这人民就如地上的尘土那么多。

现在，雅威神啊，但愿祢向我父亲大卫所说的话得以坚立，祢立我作这民的王，他们如同地上尘沙那样多。

Now give me wisdom and knowledge, that I may go out and come in before this people; for who can judge this great people of Yours?

神对所罗门说，你心里既有此意，并不求财富、资产、尊荣，也不求灭绝那恨你之人的性命，又不求长寿，只为自己求智慧和知识，好审断我的民，就是我立你作王来治理的；

神对所罗门说：“我已立你作我民的王，你既有这心意，并不求资财丰富尊荣，也不求灭绝那恨你之人的性命，又不求大寿数，只求智慧聪明好判断我的民；

神对所罗门说：“你既然有这个心意：不求富足、财产、尊荣，也不求你敌人的性命，又不求长寿，只为自己求智慧和知识，好治理我的子民，就是我立你作王统治的人民，

天主对撒罗满说：“你既有此心愿，没有求富贵、财宝、光荣，也没有要求你敌人的性命，也没有要求长寿，只为自己求智慧和聪明，好能治理我的民族，即我使你为王所管理的民族；

上帝对所罗门说：“你心里既有这个意思：你不祈求财富、资产、尊荣，也不求灭恨你的人的性命，连长寿你也不祈求，只祈求智慧学识，好判断我的人民、就是我立你作王来管理的；

神对所罗门说：“你既有这样的你的存心，不求资财、丰富、和尊荣、以及恨你之人的性命，也不求大寿数，只求智慧和聪明．好判断…我的民，我立你作王所治理的

וַיֹּ֣אמֶר־אֱלֹהִ֣ים׀ לִשְׁלֹמֹ֡ה יַ֣עַן אֲשֶׁר֩ הָיְתָ֨ה זֹ֜את עִם־לְבָבֶ֗ךָ וְלֹֽא־שָׁ֠אַלְתָּ עֹ֣שֶׁר נְכָסִ֤יםוְכָבֹוד֙ וְאֵת֙ נֶ֣פֶשׁ שֹׂנְאֶ֔יךָ וְגַם־יָמִ֥ים רַבִּ֖ים לֹ֣א שָׁאָ֑לְתָּ וַתִּֽשְׁאַל־לְךָ֙ חָכְמָ֣ה וּמַדָּ֔ע אֲשֶׁ֤רתִּשְׁפֹּוט֙ אֶת־עַמִּ֔י אֲשֶׁ֥ר הִמְלַכְתִּ֖יךָ עָלָֽיו׃

Then God said to Solomon, Because this is on your heart and you have not asked for riches, wealth, or honor, nor for the life of those who hate you, nor have you even asked for long life, but have asked for wisdom and knowledge for yourself so that you may judge My people over whom I have made you king;

And God said to Solomon, Because this was in thine heart, and thou hast not asked riches, wealth, or honour, nor the life of thine enemies, neither yet hast asked long life; but hast asked wisdom and knowledge for thyself, that thou mayest judge my people, over whom I have made thee king:

And God said to Solomon, Because this was in thy heart, and thou hast not asked riches, wealth, or honour, nor the life of them that hate thee, neither yet hast asked long life; but hast asked for thyself wisdom and knowledge, that thou mayest judge my people, over whom I have made thee king:

And God saith to Solomon, 'Because that this hath been with thy heart, and thou hast not asked riches, wealth, and honour, and the life of those hating thee, and also many days hast not asked, and dost ask for thyself wisdom and knowledge, so that thou dost judge My people over which I have caused thee to reign --

God said to Solomon, "Since this is your heart's desire and you have not asked for wealth, riches or honor, nor for the death of your enemies, and since you have not asked for a long life but for wisdom and knowledge to govern my people over whom I have made you king,

我必赐你智慧和知识，也必赐你财富、资产、尊荣，在你以前的列王都没有这样，在你以后的也必没有这样。

我必赐你智慧聪明，也必赐你资财丰富尊荣。在你以前的列王都没有这样，在你以后也必没有这样的。”

因此，智慧和知识必赐给你，我也把富足、财产和尊荣赐给你；在你以前的列王从没有这样，在你以后的也必没有这样。”

为此，智慧和聪明已赐予了你，但我还愿将富贵财宝和光荣赐予你，是你以前的君王从没有过，你以后也不会再有的。”

故此智慧学识就给予你；连财富、资产、尊荣、我也必给你；你以前诸王未曾有过这样，你以后的也必没有这样。”

智慧和聪明必赏给你，资财、和丰富、和尊荣，我也必赐给你，你以前所有的列王没有像这样，你以后也必没有像这样。”

הַֽחָכְמָ֥ה וְהַמַּדָּ֖ע נָת֣וּן לָ֑ךְ וְעֹ֨שֶׁר וּנְכָסִ֤ים וְכָבֹוד֙ אֶתֶּן־לָ֔ךְ אֲשֶׁ֣ר׀ לֹא־הָ֣יָה כֵ֗ן לַמְּלָכִים֙אֲשֶׁ֣ר לְפָנֶ֔יךָ וְאַחֲרֶ֖יךָ לֹ֥א יִֽהְיֶה־כֵּֽן׃

Wisdom and knowledge are granted to you; and riches and wealth and honor I will give you, such as no kings who were before you have had, nor any after you will have.

Wisdom and knowledge is granted unto thee; and I will give thee riches, and wealth, and honour, such as none of the kings have had that have been before thee, neither shall there any after thee have the like.

Then Solomon came to Jerusalem from the high place that was in Gibeon, from the Tent of Meeting; and he reigned over Israel.

所罗门聚集战车和骑兵，他有战车一千四百辆，和骑兵一万二千名，他把他们安置在屯车的城邑．和耶路撒冷，就是王那里。

And the king caused silver and gold to be as plentiful as stones in Jerusalem; and cedars, like the sycamores that are in the lowlands.

And the horses that Solomon had came from Egypt and from Kue; the king's traders bought them from Kue at a fixed price.

And they could import from Egypt a chariot for six hundred shekels of silver and a horse for one hundred fifty shekels, and thus they brought them out to all the kings of the Hittites and the kings of Syria by their own means.
