וְ֠נַעֲמָן שַׂר־צְבָ֨א מֶֽלֶךְ־אֲרָ֜ם הָיָ֣ה אִישׁ֩ גָּדֹ֨ול לִפְנֵ֤י אֲדֹנָיו֙ וּנְשֻׂ֣א פָנִ֔ים כִּֽי־בֹ֛ו נָֽתַן־יְהוָ֥התְּשׁוּעָ֖ה לַאֲרָ֑ם וְהָאִ֗ישׁ הָיָ֛ה גִּבֹּ֥ור חַ֖יִל מְצֹרָֽע׃
R
Now Naaman, the captain of the army of the king of Syria, was a great man in the sight of his master and highly respected, because by him Jehovah had given deliverance to Syria. But the man, though a mighty man of valor, was a leper.

Now Naaman, captain of the host of the king of Syria, was a great man with his master, and honourable, because by him the LORD had given deliverance unto Syria: he was also a mighty man in valour, but he was a leper.

וַתֹּ֨אמֶר֙ אֶל־גְּבִרְתָּ֔הּ אַחֲלֵ֣י אֲדֹנִ֔י לִפְנֵ֥י הַנָּבִ֖יא אֲשֶׁ֣ר בְּשֹׁמְרֹ֑ון אָ֛ז יֶאֱסֹ֥ף אֹתֹ֖ו מִצָּרַעְתֹּֽו׃
R
And she said to her mistress, If only my master were with the prophet who is in Samaria! Then he would cure him of his leprosy.

And she said unto her mistress, Would God my lord were with the prophet that is in Samaria! for he would recover him of his leprosy.

Then the king of Syria said, Go then, and I will send a letter to the king of Israel. And he went and took with him ten talents of silver and six thousand shekels of gold and ten changes of clothes.

And the king of Syria said, Go to, go, and I will send a letter unto the king of Israel. And he departed, and took with him ten talents of silver, and six thousand pieces of gold, and ten changes of raiment.

And the king of Aram saith, 'Go thou, enter, and I send a letter unto the king of Israel;' and he goeth and taketh in his hand ten talents of silver, and six thousand pieces of gold, and ten changes of garments.

By all means, go, the king of Aram replied. "I will send a letter to the king of Israel." So Naaman left, taking with him ten talents of silver, six thousand shekels of gold and ten sets of clothing.

And he brought the letter to the king of Israel, which read: And now, when this letter comes to you, I am sending Naaman my servant to you, that you may cure him of his leprosy.

And he brought the letter to the king of Israel, saying, Now when this letter is come unto thee, behold, I have therewith sent Naaman my servant to thee, that thou mayest recover him of his leprosy.

And he bringeth in the letter unto the king of Israel, saying, 'And now, at the coming in of this letter unto thee, lo, I have sent unto thee Naaman my servant, and thou hast recovered him from his leprosy.'

The letter that he took to the king of Israel read: "With this letter I am sending my servant Naaman to you so that you may cure him of his leprosy."

以色列王读了信就撕裂衣服，说，我岂是神，能使人死、使人活呢？这人竟打发人来，叫我治好一个人的麻风。你们留意，看看这人是怎样寻隙攻击我。

以色列王看了信，就撕裂衣服，说：“我岂是神，能使人死使人活呢？这人竟打发人来，叫我治好他的大麻风。你们看一看，这人何以寻隙攻击我呢？”

以色列王读了这信后，就撕裂自己的衣服，说：“我是神，能使人死使人活吗？这人竟派人到我这里来，要我治好他的麻风。请你们想想看，他是要找机会攻击我。”

以色列王一念了这信，就撕裂自己的衣服说：“难道我是天主，能使人死使人活吗？这人竟然给我送这个人来，叫我医好他的癞病！你们只要想一想，便可看出，他是找机会来与我为难。”
吕
以色列王念完了信，就撕裂衣服，说：“我，我哪里是上帝，能使人死、使人活呢？这人竟送信来、叫我使一个人复原、没有麻风属之病啊！你们请想想，请看看，这人是怎样找机会来为难我呀。”

以色列王读了信，就撕裂自己的衣服，说：“我岂是神，能使人死使人活呢？这人竟派人到我这里来，叫我除去这人他的大麻风。你们要知道，要看一看，他如何寻隙攻击我。”

וַיְהִ֡י כִּקְרֹא֩ מֶֽלֶךְ־יִשְׂרָאֵ֨ל אֶת־הַסֵּ֜פֶר וַיִּקְרַ֣ע בְּגָדָ֗יו וַיֹּ֨אמֶר֙ הַאֱלֹהִ֥ים אָ֨נִי֙ לְהָמִ֣ית וּֽלְהַחֲיֹ֔ותכִּֽי־זֶה֙ שֹׁלֵ֣חַ אֵלַ֔י לֶאֱסֹ֥ף אִ֖ישׁ מִצָּֽרַעְתֹּ֑ו כִּ֤י אַךְ־דְּעֽוּ־נָא֙ וּרְא֔וּ כִּֽי־מִתְאַנֶּ֥ה ה֖וּא לִֽי׃
R
And when the king of Israel read the letter, he tore his clothes and said, Am I God to put to death and to give life, that this man sends word to me to cure a man of his leprosy? Therefore consider now and see how he seeks an occasion against me.

And it came to pass, when the king of Israel had read the letter, that he rent his clothes, and said, Am I God, to kill and to make alive, that this man doth send unto me to recover a man of his leprosy? wherefore consider, I pray you, and see how he seeketh a quarrel against me.

And it came to pass when the king of Israel had read the letter, that he rent his garments, and said, Am I God, to kill and to make alive, that this man sends to me to cure a man of his leprosy? Wherefore consider, I pray you, and see how he seeks an occasion against me.

And it cometh to pass, at the king of Israel's reading the letter, that he rendeth his garments, and saith, 'Am I God, to put to death and to keep alive, that this one is sending unto me to recover a man from his leprosy? for surely know, I pray you, and see, for he is presenting himself to me.'

As soon as the king of Israel read the letter, he tore his robes and said, "Am I God? Can I kill and bring back to life? Why does this fellow send someone to me to be cured of his leprosy? See how he is trying to pick a quarrel with me!"

神人以利沙听见以色列王撕裂衣服，就打发人去见王，说，你为什么撕了衣服呢？可以使那人到我这里来，他就知道以色列中有申言者了。

R
And when Elisha the man of God heard that the king of Israel had torn his clothes, he sent word to the king, saying, Why have you torn your clothes? Let him come to me, and he will know that there is a prophet in Israel.

And it was so, when Elisha the man of God had heard that the king of Israel had rent his clothes, that he sent to the king, saying, Wherefore hast thou rent thy clothes? let him come now to me, and he shall know that there is a prophet in Israel.

When Elisha the man of God heard that the king of Israel had torn his robes, he sent him this message: "Why have you torn your robes? Have the man come to me and he will know that there is a prophet in Israel."

And Elisha sent a messenger to him, saying, Go and wash in the Jordan seven times, and your flesh shall be restored; and you shall be clean.

乃缦却发怒走了，他说：“我以为他必会出来，站着求告耶和华他的神的名，向着患处摇手，洁净这麻风病。

纳阿曼生了气，且走且说：“看，我原想他会出来见我，站在我面前，呼求上主他的天主的名，在患处挥动他的手，治好这癞病。
吕
乃缦大大震怒走了，说：“我心里自己说：‘他一定出来见我，奉永恒主他的上帝的名站着呼求，在患处上头动动手，使这麻风属之病复原呢。’

乃缦却发怒走了，说：“看哪，我想他必定出来到我这里，站着求告雅威──他神的名，用他的手在患处上摇一摇，除去这大麻风。

וַיִּקְצֹ֥ף נַעֲמָ֖ן וַיֵּלַ֑ךְ וַיֹּאמֶר֩ הִנֵּ֨ה אָמַ֜רְתִּי אֵלַ֣י׀ יֵצֵ֣א יָצֹ֗וא וְעָמַד֙ וְקָרָא֙ בְּשֵׁם־יְהוָ֣ה אֱלֹהָ֔יווְהֵנִ֥יף יָדֹ֛ו אֶל־הַמָּקֹ֖ום וְאָסַ֥ף הַמְּצֹרָֽע׃
R
But Naaman became furious and went away and said, I thought, He will surely come out to me and stand and call on the name of Jehovah his God, and wave his hand over the place and cure the leper.

But Naaman was wroth, and went away, and said, Behold, I thought, He will surely come out to me, and stand, and call on the name of the LORD his God, and strike his hand over the place, and recover the leper.

And Naaman was wroth, and went away and said, Behold, I thought, He will certainly come out to me, and stand, and call on the name of Jehovah his God, and wave his hand over the place, and cure the leper.

But Naaman went away angry and said, "I thought that he would surely come out to me and stand and call on the name of the Lord his God, wave his hand over the spot and cure me of my leprosy.

הֲלֹ֡א טֹוב֩ אֲבָנָה וּפַרְפַּ֜ר נַהֲרֹ֣ות דַּמֶּ֗שֶׂק מִכֹּל֙ מֵימֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל הֲלֹֽא־אֶרְחַ֥ץ בָּהֶ֖ם וְטָהָ֑רְתִּיוַיִּ֖פֶן וַיֵּ֥לֶךְ בְּחֵמָֽה׃
R
Are not the Abana and the Pharpar, the rivers of Damascus, better than all the waters of Israel? Could I not wash in them and be clean? So he turned and went away in a rage.

And Naaman said, Then if not, please let your servant be given two mule-loads of earth, for your servant will no more offer burnt offerings and sacrifices to other gods, but to Jehovah only.

And Naaman said, Shall there not then, I pray thee, be given to thy servant two mules' burden of earth? for thy servant will henceforth offer neither burnt offering nor sacrifice unto other gods, but unto the LORD.

惟有以下这一件事、愿永恒主赦宥你仆人：当我主上进临门庙、在那里叩拜的时候，他靠着我手的扶搀，我也在临门庙叩拜：当我这样在临门庙叩拜的时候，（或译：当他在临门庙叩拜时我也在临门庙叩拜）但愿永恒主在这事上赦宥你仆人。”

In this matter may Jehovah pardon your servant: When my master goes into the house of Rimmon to bow down there and leans on my arm, and I bow down in the house of Rimmon, when I bow down in the house of Rimmon, may Jehovah pardon your servant in this matter.

In this thing the LORD pardon thy servant, that when my master goeth into the house of Rimmon to worship there, and he leaneth on my hand, and I bow myself in the house of Rimmon: when I bow down myself in the house of Rimmon, the LORD pardon thy servant in this thing.

But may the Lord forgive your servant for this one thing: When my master enters the temple of Rimmon to bow down and he is leaning on my arm and I bow there also-when I bow down in the temple of Rimmon, may the Lord forgive your servant for this."

Gehazi, the attendant of Elisha the man of God said, Now my master has spared Naaman this Syrian by not receiving from his hand that which he brought. As Jehovah lives, I will run after him and take something from him.

他说：“平安。我主人打发我来说：‘刚才有两个青年人、是神言人的弟子、从以法莲山地来见我；请将一担银子和两套衣服给他们。’”

说：“都平安。我主人打发我来说：‘看哪，刚才有两个少年人…来我这里，从以法莲山地．是先知门徒，请你赐他们一他连得银子和两套可更换的衣裳。’”

And he said, All is well. My master has sent me, saying, Now at this moment two young men from among the sons of the prophets have come to me from the hill country of Ephraim; please give them a talent of silver and two changes of clothes.

By all means, take two talents, said Naaman. He urged Gehazi to accept them, and then tied up the two talents of silver in two bags, with two sets of clothing. He gave them to two of his servants, and they carried them ahead of Gehazi.

Then he went in and stood before his master Elisha. "Where have you been, Gehazi?" Elisha asked. "Your servant didn't go anywhere," Gehazi answered.

And he said to him, Did not my heart go with you when the man turned from his chariot to meet you? Is it a time to receive silver and to receive clothing and olive groves and vineyards and sheep and oxen and male servants and female servants?

And he said unto him, Went not mine heart with thee, when the man turned again from his chariot to meet thee? Is it a time to receive money, and to receive garments, and oliveyards, and vineyards, and sheep, and oxen, and menservants, and maidservants?

And he saith unto him, 'My heart went not when the man turned from off his chariot to meet thee; is it a time to take silver, and to take garments, and olives, and vines, and flock, and herd, and men-servants, and maid-servants?

But Elisha said to him, "Was not my spirit with you when the man got down from his chariot to meet you? Is this the time to take money, or to accept clothes, olive groves, vineyards, flocks, herds, or menservants and maidservants?

Therefore the leprosy of Naaman shall cleave to you and to your seed forever. And he went out from his presence a leper as white as snow.
