Therefore the lot was for the rest of the children of Manasseh according to their families: for the children of Abiezer and for the children of Helek and for the children of Asriel and for the children of Shechem and for the children of Hepher and for the children of Shemida; these were the male children of Manasseh the son of Joseph according to their families.

玛拿西的疆界又下到加拿河，在加拿河的南边，玛拿西的众城镇中，有这些城镇是属于以法莲的。玛拿西的疆界，从河的北面起，直通到海。

边界由此向下伸至卡纳谷；谷南的城市属厄弗辣因，是厄弗辣因在默纳协城市所有的城市。默纳协的境界是由谷北，直到大海。

那界线下到加拿河的南边；在玛拿西的众城中、有这些城归以法莲。玛拿西的地界是从河北起，其终点是海。

这地界下到加拿河。河谷南边虽在玛拿西的城邑中，这些城邑都归以法莲。玛拿西的地界从河的北方，它的通路直到海那边；

And the border went down to the brook of Kanah. These cities to the south of the brook belonged to Ephraim, among the cities of Manasseh; and the border of Manasseh was to the north of the brook, and its end was the sea.

And the coast descended unto the river Kanah, southward of the river: these cities of Ephraim are among the cities of Manasseh: the coast of Manasseh also was on the north side of the river, and the outgoings of it were at the sea:

And the border descended to the torrent Kanah, south of the torrent. These cities were Ephraim's among the cities of Manasseh. And the territory of Manasseh was on the north side of the torrent, and ended at the sea.

And the border hath come down to the brook of Kanah, southward of the brook; these cities of Ephraim are in the midst of the cities of Manasseh, and the border of Manasseh is on the north of the brook, and its outgoings are at the sea.

Then the boundary continued south to the Kanah Ravine. There were towns belonging to Ephraim lying among the towns of Manasseh, but the boundary of Manasseh was the northern side of the ravine and ended at the sea.

To the south was Ephraim's, and to the north was Manasseh's, and the sea was his border. And they touched Asher on the north and Issachar on the east.

默纳协在依撒加尔和阿协尔境内，有贝特商和所属村镇，依贝肋罕和所属村镇，多尔居民和所属村镇；还有恩多尔居民和所属村镇，塔纳客居民和所属村镇，默基多居民和所属村镇，共三区。

玛拿西在以萨迦和亚设境内有伯善和属伯善的厢镇，以伯莲和属以伯莲的厢镇，有多珥和属多珥镇的居民，又有隐多珥和属隐多珥厢镇的居民，有他纳和属他纳的厢镇的居民，有米吉多和属米吉多厢镇的居民；第三个城是拿法。

玛拿西在以萨迦和亚设境内．有伯．善和属它(原文用阴性，下同)的乡镇，和以伯莲和和属它的乡镇，和多珥和属它乡镇的居民；和隐．多珥和属它乡镇的居民；和他纳和属它乡镇的居民，和米吉多和属它乡镇的居民，这三处山冈。

וַיְהִ֨י לִמְנַשֶּׁ֜ה בְּיִשָּׂשכָ֣ר וּבְאָשֵׁ֗ר בֵּית־שְׁאָ֣ן וּ֠בְנֹותֶיהָ וְיִבְלְעָ֨ם וּבְנֹותֶ֜יהָ וְֽאֶת־יֹשְׁבֵ֧י דֹ֣ארוּבְנֹותֶ֗יהָ וְיֹשְׁבֵ֤י עֵֽין־דֹּר֙ וּבְנֹתֶ֔יהָ וְיֹשְׁבֵ֤י תַעְנַךְ֙ וּבְנֹתֶ֔יהָ וְיֹשְׁבֵ֥י מְגִדֹּ֖ו וּבְנֹותֶ֑יהָ שְׁלֹ֖שֶׁת הַנָּֽפֶת׃

And to Manasseh there belonged in Issachar and Asher, Beth-shean and its towns, and Ibleam and its towns, and the inhabitants of Dor and its towns, and the inhabitants of En-dor and its towns, and the inhabitants of Taanach and its towns, and the inhabitants of Megiddo and its towns (the third is Napheth).

And Manasseh had in Issachar and in Asher Bethshean and her towns, and Ibleam and her towns, and the inhabitants of Dor and her towns, and the inhabitants of Endor and her towns, and the inhabitants of Taanach and her towns, and the inhabitants of Megiddo and her towns, even three countries.

And Manasseh had in Issachar and in Asher, Beth-shean and its dependent villages, and Ibleam and its dependent villages, and the inhabitants of Dor and its dependent villages, and the inhabitants of En-Dor and its dependent villages, and the inhabitants of Taanach and its dependent villages, and the inhabitants of Megiddo and its dependent villages, the three hilly regions.

And Manasseh hath in Issachar and in Asher, Beth-Shean and its towns, and Ibleam and its towns, and the inhabitants of Dor and its towns, and the inhabitants of En-Dor and its towns, and the inhabitants of Taanach and its towns, and the inhabitants of Megiddo and its towns, three counties.

Within Issachar and Asher, Manasseh also had Beth Shan, Ibleam and the people of Dor, Endor, Taanach and Megiddo, together with their surrounding settlements (the third in the list is Naphoth ).

只是玛拿西的子孙不能赶出这些城的居民，迦南人执意住在那地。

只是玛拿西子孙不能赶出这些城的居民，迦南人偏要住在那地。

可是玛拿西的子孙却不能把这些城的居民赶走，迦南人决意住在那地。

但是默纳协子孙未能将这些城中的土人赶走，因此客纳罕人仍然居住在这地区内。

但是玛拿西的子孙不能把这些城的居民赶出；这些迦南人执意住在那地。

只是玛拿西的子孙不能占领．这些城邑，迦南人偏要住在这地。

וְלֹ֤א יָכְלוּ֙ בְּנֵ֣י מְנַשֶּׁ֔ה לְהֹורִ֖ישׁ אֶת־הֶֽעָרִ֣ים הָאֵ֑לֶּה וַיֹּ֨ואֶל֙ הַֽכְּנַעֲנִ֔י לָשֶׁ֖בֶת בָּאָ֥רֶץ הַזֹּֽאת׃

Yet the children of Manasseh could not dispossess these cities, but the Canaanites persisted in dwelling in this land.

Yet the children of Manasseh could not drive out the inhabitants of those cities; but the Canaanites would dwell in that land.

But the children of Manasseh could not dispossess [the inhabitants of] those cities; and the Canaanites would dwell in that land.

And the sons of Manasseh have not been able to occupy these cities, and the Canaanite is desirous to dwell in this land,

Yet the Manassites were not able to occupy these towns, for the Canaanites were determined to live in that region.

及至以色列人强盛了，就使迦南人服苦役，没有把他们全然赶出。

及至以色列人强盛了，就使迦南人作苦工，没有把他们全然赶出。

以色列人强盛以后，就迫使迦南人作苦工，却没有把他们完全赶出去。

当以色列子民强盛以后，迫使客纳罕人做苦工，却没有将他们完全赶走。

赶到以色列人强大了，就使迦南人作苦工，没有把他们全都赶出。

及至以色列人强盛了，就使迦南人做苦工，没有把他们全然赶出。

וַֽיְהִ֗י כִּ֤י חָֽזְקוּ֙ בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל וַיִּתְּנ֥וּ אֶת־הַֽכְּנַעֲנִ֖י לָמַ֑ס וְהֹורֵ֖שׁ לֹ֥א הֹורִישֹֽׁו׃ ס

And when the children of Israel became strong, they made the Canaanites forced labor; but they did not utterly dispossess them.

Yet it came to pass, when the children of Israel were waxen strong, that they put the Canaanites to tribute; but did not utterly drive them out.

And it came to pass when the children of Israel were become strong, that they made the Canaanites tributary; but they did not utterly dispossess them.

and it cometh to pass when the sons of Israel have been strong, that they put the Canaanite to tribute, and have not utterly dispossessed him.

However, when the Israelites grew stronger, they subjected the Canaanites to forced labor but did not drive them out completely.

约瑟的子孙对约书亚说，耶和华到如今既然赐福与我们，我们也族大人多，你为什么仅仅将一阄一分之地给我们为业呢？

约瑟的子孙对约书亚说：“耶和华到如今既然赐福与我们，我们也族大人多，你为什么仅将一阄一段之地分给我们为业呢？”

约瑟的子孙对约书亚说：“耶和华这样赐福我们，我们族大人多，你为什么只给我们抽一份签，分一份地作产业呢？”

若瑟的子孙对若苏厄说：“上主这样祝福我们，我们又是人数最多的一族，你为什么只叫我们抽一签，分一份土地作产业呢？”

约瑟的子孙告诉约书亚说：“永恒主既然这样赐福与我们，我们族民又多，你为什么只把一阄一分之地分给我们为产业呢？”

约瑟的子孙对约书亚说：“…你为什么仅将一阄一段之地分给我们为业呢？”雅威赐福给我到这地步，使我有众多的百姓，

וַֽיְדַבְּרוּ֙ בְּנֵ֣י יֹוסֵ֔ף אֶת־יְהֹושֻׁ֖עַ לֵאמֹ֑ר מַדּוּעַ֩ נָתַ֨תָּה לִּ֜י נַחֲלָ֗ה גֹּורָ֤ל אֶחָד֙ וְחֶ֣בֶל אֶחָ֔ד וַֽאֲנִ֣יעַם־רָ֔ב עַ֥ד אֲשֶׁר־עַד־כֹּ֖ה בֵּֽרְכַ֥נִי יְהוָֽה׃

Then the children of Joseph spoke to Joshua, saying, Why have you given me an inheritance of only one lot and one portion, although I am still a numerous people, whom Jehovah has thus far blessed?

And the children of Joseph spake unto Joshua, saying, Why hast thou given me but one lot and one portion to inherit, seeing I am a great people, forasmuch as the LORD hath blessed me hitherto?

And the children of Joseph spoke to Joshua, saying, Why hast thou given me as inheritance one lot and one portion, seeing I am a great people, forasmuch as Jehovah has blessed me hitherto?

And the sons of Joseph speak with Joshua, saying, 'Wherefore hast thou given to me an inheritance -- one lot and one portion, and I a numerous people? hitherto hath Jehovah blessed me.'

The people of Joseph said to Joshua, "Why have you given us only one allotment and one portion for an inheritance? We are a numerous people and the Lord has blessed us abundantly."

约书亚说，你们如果族大人多，嫌以法莲山地窄小，就可以上到森林去，在比利洗人和利乏音人之地为自己开出地来。

约书亚说：“你们如果族大人多，嫌以法莲山地窄小，就可以上比利洗人、利乏音人之地，在树林中砍伐树木。”

约书亚对他们说：“如果你们族大人多，又嫌以法莲山地过于窄小，就可以上森林区去，在比利洗人和利乏音人之地那里自己砍伐树木。”

若苏厄对他们说：“如果你们人数众多，厄弗辣因山地为你们太狭小，可上培黎齐人和勒法因人的地方去，砍伐森林中的树木。”

约书亚对他们说：“如果你们族民多，嫌以法莲山地窄小，就可以上森林里、在比利洗人利乏音人之地那里自己砍树木。”

约书亚对他们说：“你如果百姓众多，就上到树林，…在那里为自己开垦吧！就是在比利洗人和利乏音人之地，因以法莲山区对你太窄小。”

וַיֹּ֨אמֶר אֲלֵיהֶ֜ם יְהֹושֻׁ֗עַ אִם־עַם־רַ֤ב אַתָּה֙ עֲלֵ֣ה לְךָ֣ הַיַּ֔עְרָה וּבֵרֵאתָ֤ לְךָ֙ שָׁ֔ם בְּאֶ֥רֶץהַפְּרִזִּ֖י וְהָֽרְפָאִ֑ים כִּֽי־אָ֥ץ לְךָ֖ הַר־אֶפְרָֽיִם׃

And Joshua said to them, If you are a numerous people, go up to the forest, and cut out land there for yourself in the land of the Perizzites and the Rephaim; since the hill country of Ephraim is too narrow for you.

And Joshua answered them, If thou be a great people, then get thee up to the wood country, and cut down for thyself there in the land of the Perizzites and of the giants, if mount Ephraim be too narrow for thee.

And Joshua said unto them, If thou art a great people, then get thee up to the wood, and cut down for thyself there in the land of the Perizzites and of the giants, if the hill-country of Ephraim is too narrow for thee.

And Joshua saith unto them, 'If thou art a numerous people, go up for thee to the forest, then thou hast prepared for thee there, in the land of the Perizzite, and of the Rephaim, when mount Ephraim hath been narrow for thee.'

If you are so numerous, Joshua answered, "and if the hill country of Ephraim is too small for you, go up into the forest and clear land for yourselves there in the land of the Perizzites and Rephaites."

约瑟的子孙说，那山地容不下我们，并且所有住山谷之地的迦南人，就是住伯善和属伯善的乡镇，并住耶斯列谷的人，都有铁车。

约瑟的子孙说：“那山地容不下我们，并且住平原的迦南人，就是住伯善和属伯善的镇市，并住耶斯列平原的人，都有铁车。”

约瑟的子孙回答：“那山地容不下我们，并且住在谷地的所有迦南人，就是住在伯．善和属于伯．善的市镇的人，以及住在耶列斯谷的人，都有铁车。”

若瑟的子孙回答说：“这山区为我们仍不够，何况住在盆地，即住在贝特商和所属村镇，以及住在依次勒耳盆地的一切客纳罕人，都拥有铁车。”

约瑟的子孙说：“那山地容不下我们，并且住山谷之地所有的迦南人、就是住伯善和属伯善厢镇的人、以及住耶斯列山谷的人、都有铁车。”

约瑟的子孙说：“那山区容不下我们，…都有铁车。”住平原地…所有的迦南人，就是伯．善和属它(原文用阴性)的乡镇，并耶斯列平原

וַיֹּֽאמְרוּ֙ בְּנֵ֣י יֹוסֵ֔ף לֹֽא־יִמָּ֥צֵא לָ֖נוּ הָהָ֑ר וְרֶ֣כֶב בַּרְזֶ֗ל בְּכָל־הַֽכְּנַעֲנִי֙ הַיֹּשֵׁ֣ב בְּאֶֽרֶץ־הָעֵ֔מֶקלַֽאֲשֶׁ֤ר בְּבֵית־שְׁאָן֙ וּבְנֹותֶ֔יהָ וְלַֽאֲשֶׁ֖ר בְּעֵ֥מֶק יִזְרְעֶֽאל׃

And the children of Joseph said, The hill country is not enough for us; and all the Canaanites who dwell in the land of the valley have chariots of iron, both those of Beth-shean and its towns and those in the valley of Jezreel.

And the children of Joseph said, The hill is not enough for us: and all the Canaanites that dwell in the land of the valley have chariots of iron, both they who are of Bethshean and her towns, and they who are of the valley of Jezreel.

And the children of Joseph said, The hill-country will not be enough for us; and all the Canaanites that dwell in the land of the valley have chariots of iron, those that are of Beth-shean and its dependent villages, and those that are in the valley of Jizreel.

And the sons of Joseph say, 'The hill is not found to us, and a chariot of iron is with every Canaanite who is dwelling in the land of the valley -- to him who is in Beth-Shean and its towns, and to him who is in the valley of Jezreel.'

The people of Joseph replied, "The hill country is not enough for us, and all the Canaanites who live in the plain have iron chariots, both those in Beth Shan and its settlements and those in the Valley of Jezreel."

约书亚对约瑟家，就是以法莲和玛拿西人说，你族大人多，势力强大，不可仅有一阄之地，

约书亚对约瑟家，就是以法莲和玛拿西人，说：“你是族大人多，并且强盛，不可仅有一阄之地。

约书亚对约瑟家、以法莲和玛拿西人、说：“你们族民多，并且大有势力，不可只有一阄之地；

约书亚对约瑟家，…说：就是以法莲和玛拿西(人)“你百姓众多，并且势力强大，不可仅有一阄(之地)。

וַיֹּ֤אמֶר יְהֹושֻׁ֨עַ֙ אֶל־בֵּ֣ית יֹוסֵ֔ף לְאֶפְרַ֥יִם וְלִמְנַשֶּׁ֖ה לֵאמֹ֑ר עַם־רַ֣ב אַתָּ֗ה וְכֹ֤חַ גָּדֹול֙ לָ֔ךְלֹֽא־יִהְיֶ֥ה לְךָ֖ גֹּורָ֥ל אֶחָֽד׃

And Joshua spoke to the house of Joseph, to Ephraim and Manasseh, saying, You are a numerous people, and you have great strength; you shall not have one lot only,

And Joshua spake unto the house of Joseph, even to Ephraim and to Manasseh, saying, Thou art a great people, and hast great power: thou shalt not have one lot only:

And Joshua speaketh unto the house of Joseph, to Ephraim and to Manasseh, saying, 'Thou art a numerous people, and hast great power; thou hast not one lot only,

But Joshua said to the house of Joseph-to Ephraim and Manasseh-"You are numerous and very powerful. You will have not only one allotment

山地也要归你；虽是森林，你也可以开出地来，山地的尽边必归你。迦南人虽有铁车，虽是强盛，你也能把他们赶出去。

山地也要归你，虽是树林你也可以砍伐，靠近之地必归你。迦南人虽有铁车，虽是强盛，你也能把他们赶出去。”

山地也要归给你们，那里虽然是森林，你们可以砍伐，开辟的土地都归给你们；迦南人虽然拥有铁车，势力强大，你们也能把他们赶出去。”

因此山地也应归于你们；那里虽是森林，尽可砍伐，开辟的土地自然归于你们。客纳罕人虽然拥有铁车，势力强大，但你们必能将他们赶走。”

山地也要归你们；虽是森林，你们也可以砍下来；它的边界也可以归于你们；迦南人虽有铁车，虽然强大，你们也能把他们赶出。”

(整个)山区都归你，它虽是树林，你可以开垦它，它(最远)的边界就都归你。…你也能把迦南人赶出去。”他(指迦南人)虽有铁车，虽是强盛，

כִּ֣י הַ֤ר יִֽהְיֶה־לָּךְ֙ כִּֽי־יַ֣עַר ה֔וּא וּבֵ֣רֵאתֹ֔ו וְהָיָ֥ה לְךָ֖ תֹּֽצְאֹתָ֑יו כִּֽי־תֹורִ֣ישׁ אֶת־הַֽכְּנַעֲנִ֗י כִּ֣י רֶ֤כֶבבַּרְזֶל֙ לֹ֔ו כִּ֥י חָזָ֖ק הֽוּא׃ פ

But the hill country shall be yours. Though it is a forest, you shall cut it down, and its end will be yours; for you shall dispossess the Canaanites, though they have chariots of iron and though they are strong.

But the mountain shall be thine; for it is a wood, and thou shalt cut it down: and the outgoings of it shall be thine: for thou shalt drive out the Canaanites, though they have iron chariots, and though they be strong.

but the hill-country shall be thine, as it is a wood, thou shalt cut it down, and its outgoings shall be thine; for thou shalt dispossess the Canaanites, though they have iron chariots; for they are powerful.

because the mountain is thine; because it is a forest -- thou hast prepared it, and its outgoings have been thine; because thou dost dispossess the Canaanite, though it hath chariots of iron -- though it is strong.'

but the forested hill country as well. Clear it, and its farthest limits will be yours; though the Canaanites have iron chariots and though they are strong, you can drive them out."
