Go from here and turn eastward, and hide yourself by the brook Cherith, which is before the Jordan.

And you shall drink from the brook, and I have commanded the ravens to feed you there.

Rise up and go to Zarephath, which belongs to Sidon, and stay there. I have just commanded a widow there to keep you fed.

And he rose up and went to Zarephath. And when he came to the entrance of the city, a widow was there gathering sticks. And he called to her and said, I beg you, bring me a little water in a vessel, that I may drink.

So he went to Zarephath. When he came to the town gate, a widow was there gathering sticks. He called to her and asked, "Would you bring me a little water in a jar so I may have a drink?"

And she went to get it. Then he called to her and said, I beg you, bring me a piece of bread in your hand.

And as she was going to fetch it, he called to her, and said, Bring me, I pray thee, a morsel of bread in thine hand.

As she was going to get it, he called, "And bring me, please, a piece of bread."

她说：“我指着永恒主你的永活上帝来起誓：我没有饼，只有内一把面粉，罐里一点儿油；你看，我正在捡捡两根柴，去为自己和儿子作饼；吃了来死，算了。”

她说：“我指着雅威──你神的生命起誓，…如果我有饼，...。除了坛内一满把面．和瓶里一点油，看哪，我正在捡两根柴，回去为我和我儿子做它

וַתֹּ֗אמֶר חַי־יְהוָ֤ה אֱלֹהֶ֨יךָ֙ אִם־יֶשׁ־לִ֣י מָעֹ֔וג כִּ֣י אִם־מְלֹ֤א כַף־קֶ֨מַח֙ בַּכַּ֔ד וּמְעַט־שֶׁ֖מֶןבַּצַּפָּ֑חַת וְהִנְנִ֨י מְקֹשֶׁ֜שֶׁת שְׁנַ֣יִם עֵצִ֗ים וּבָ֨אתִי֙ וַעֲשִׂיתִ֨יהוּ֙ לִ֣י וְלִבְנִ֔י וַאֲכַלְנֻ֖הוּ וָמָֽתְנוּ׃
R
And she said, As Jehovah your God lives, I have nothing baked, but only a handful of meal in a barrel and a little oil in a jar; and I am now gathering a few sticks that I may go and prepare it for me and my son, that we may eat it and die.

And she said, As the LORD thy God liveth, I have not a cake, but an handful of meal in a barrel, and a little oil in a cruse: and, behold, I am gathering two sticks, that I may go in and dress it for me and my son, that we may eat it, and die.

And she saith, 'Jehovah thy God liveth, I have not a cake, but the fulness of the hand of meal in a pitcher, and a little oil in a dish; and lo, I am gathering two sticks, and have gone in and prepared it for myself, and for my son, and we have eaten it -- and died.'
I
As surely as the Lord your God lives, she replied, "I don't have any bread-only a handful of flour in a jar and a little oil in a jug. I am gathering a few sticks to take home and make a meal for myself and my son, that we may eat it-and die."

R
And Elijah said to her, Do not fear. Go, do as you have said. But make me a little cake out of it first, and bring it out to me; then make something for yourself and for your son afterward.

Elijah said to her, "Don't be afraid. Go home and do as you have said. But first make a small cake of bread for me from what you have and bring it to me, and then make something for yourself and your son.

因为耶和华以色列的神如此说，坛内的面必不用完，瓶里的油必不短缺，直到耶和华使雨降在地上的日子。

因为耶和华以色列的神如此说：‘坛内的面必不减少，瓶里的油必不缺短，直到耶和华使雨降在地上的日子。’”

כִּ֣י כֹה֩ אָמַ֨ר יְהוָ֜ה אֱלֹהֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל כַּ֤ד הַקֶּ֨מַח֙ לֹ֣א תִכְלָ֔ה וְצַפַּ֥חַת הַשֶּׁ֖מֶן לֹ֣א תֶחְסָ֑ר עַ֠דיֹ֧ום תִּתֶּן יְהוָ֛ה גֶּ֖שֶׁם עַל־פְּנֵ֥י הָאֲדָמָֽה׃
R
For thus says Jehovah the God of Israel, The barrel of meal will not give out, nor will the jar of oil fail, until the day that Jehovah sends rain upon the face of the earth.

For thus saith the LORD God of Israel, The barrel of meal shall not waste, neither shall the cruse of oil fail, until the day that the LORD sendeth rain upon the earth.

For thus saith Jehovah the God of Israel: The meal in the barrel shall not waste, neither shall the oil in the cruse fail, until the day that Jehovah sendeth rain upon the face of the earth!

for thus said Jehovah, God of Israel, The pitcher of meal is not consumed, and the dish of oil is not lacking, till the day of Jehovah's giving a shower on the face of the ground.'

For this is what the Lord , the God of Israel, says: 'The jar of flour will not be used up and the jug of oil will not run dry until the day the Lord gives rain on the land.' "

And she went and did according to the word of Elijah. And she and he and her house ate for many days.

And she goeth, and doth according to the word of Elijah, and she eateth, she and he, and her household -- days;

She went away and did as Elijah had told her. So there was food every day for Elijah and for the woman and her family.

The barrel of meal did not give out, nor did the jar of oil fail, according to the word of Jehovah, which He had spoken through Elijah.

And she said to Elijah, What have I done to you, O man of God, that you have come to me to recall my iniquity and kill my son?

And she said unto Elijah, What have I to do with thee, O thou man of God? art thou come unto me to call my sin to remembrance, and to slay my son?

And she said to Elijah, What have I to do with thee, O thou man of God? art thou come to me to call mine iniquity to remembrance, and to slay my son?

And she saith unto Elijah, 'What -- to me and to thee, O man of God? thou hast come unto me to cause mine iniquity to be remembered, and to put my son to death!'

She said to Elijah, "What do you have against me, man of God? Did you come to remind me of my sin and kill my son?"

就呼求耶和华，说，耶和华我的神啊，我寄居在这寡妇的家里，难道你竟降祸与她，使她的儿子死了么？

就求告耶和华说：“耶和华我的神啊，我寄居在这寡妇的家里，你就降祸与她，使她的儿子死了吗？”

他就求告雅威，说：“雅威──我的神啊，难道．对我所寄居在她那里的这寡妇，祢也要降祸，杀死她的儿子吗？

And he cried to Jehovah and said, Jehovah, my God, have You also brought evil upon the widow, to whom I am a guest, by slaying her son?

And he cried unto the LORD, and said, O LORD my God, hast thou also brought evil upon the widow with whom I sojourn, by slaying her son?

And he cried to Jehovah and said, Jehovah, my God, hast thou also brought evil upon the widow with whom I sojourn, by slaying her son?

and crieth unto Jehovah, and saith, 'Jehovah my God, also on the widow with whom I am sojourning hast Thou done evil -- to put her son to death?'
I
Then he cried out to the Lord , "O Lord my God, have you brought tragedy also upon this widow I am staying with, by causing her son to die?"

And he stretched himself upon the child three times and cried to Jehovah and said, Jehovah, my God, I beg You, let this child's soul come into him again!

Then he stretched himself out on the boy three times and cried to the Lord , "O Lord my God, let this boy's life return to him!"

耶和华应允以利亚的话，孩子的魂回到他里面，他就活了。

And Jehovah listened to the voice of Elijah; and the child's soul came into him again, and he lived.

And Elijah took the child and brought him down from the upper room into the house and gave him to his mother. And Elijah said, See, your son is alive.
