非利士人的统领说：“这些希伯来人是什么东西？”亚吉对非利士人的统领说：“这不是以色列王扫罗的臣仆么？他在我这里有些年日了；自从他流落来投、直到今日、我未曾见他有什么过错啊。”

非利士人的首领们说：“这些希伯来人在这里做什么？”亚吉对非利士人的首领们说：“这不是以色列王扫罗的臣子大卫吗？他跟随我有些年日了，…我未曾发现他有任何(过错)。”自从他投降我的日子直到今日，

And Achish said to the princes of the Philistines, Is this not David, the servant of Saul the king of Israel, who has been with me these days, or even these years? And I have found nothing wrong in him since the day he deserted to me to this day.

Then said the princes of the Philistines, What do these Hebrews here? And Achish said unto the princes of the Philistines, Is not this David, the servant of Saul the king of Israel, which hath been with me these days, or these years, and I have found no fault in him since he fell unto me unto this day?

And the princes of the Philistines said, What are these Hebrews? And Achish said to the princes of the Philistines, Is not this David, the servant of Saul the king of Israel, who has been with me these days, or these years, and I have found nothing in him since the day of his falling away [to me] to this day?

And the heads of the Philistines say, 'What are these Hebrews?' and Achish saith unto the heads of the Philistines, 'Is not this David servant of Saul king of Israel, who hath been with me these days or these years, and I have not found in him anything wrong from the day of his falling away till this day.'

The commanders of the Philistines asked, "What about these Hebrews?" Achish replied, "Is this not David, who was an officer of Saul king of Israel? He has already been with me for over a year, and from the day he left Saul until now, I have found no fault in him."

培肋舍特人的将领向他大发愤怒说：“把这人打发回去，叫他回到你给他所指定的地方去，王要让他同我们一起下去打仗，免得他在战争中作出卖我们的奸细。他不借用我们这些人的头，怎能获得他主人的欢心？

非利士人的统领恼怒亚吉，说：“你要叫这人回你所分派他的地方去，不可叫他同我们下战场，免得他在战场上变为敌挡我们的。这家伙要用什么去讨他主上的喜悦呢？岂不是用我们这些人的脑袋么？

非利士人的首领们向亚吉发怒，非利士人的首领们对他说：“把这人送回去，让他回你到所安置他在那里的他自己的地方，不可叫他跟我们一起下去打仗，恐怕他在阵上成为我们的对头。他用什么跟他主人复和呢？岂不是用这些人的首级吗？

וַיִּקְצְפ֨וּ עָלָ֜יו שָׂרֵ֣י פְלִשְׁתִּ֗ים וַיֹּ֣אמְרוּ לֹו֩ שָׂרֵ֨י פְלִשְׁתִּ֜ים הָשֵׁ֣ב אֶת־הָאִ֗ישׁ וְיָשֹׁב֙ אֶל־מְקֹומֹו֙אֲשֶׁ֣ר הִפְקַדְתֹּ֣ו שָׁ֔ם וְלֹֽא־יֵרֵ֤ד עִמָּ֨נוּ֙ בַּמִּלְחָמָ֔ה וְלֹא־יִֽהְיֶה־לָּ֥נוּ לְשָׂטָ֖ן בַּמִּלְחָמָ֑ה וּבַמֶּ֗ה יִתְרַצֶּ֥הזֶה֙ אֶל־אֲדֹנָ֔יו הֲלֹ֕וא בְּרָאשֵׁ֖י הָאֲנָשִׁ֥ים הָהֵֽם׃

But the princes of the Philistines were angry with him. And the princes of the Philistines said to him, Make the man go back, that he may return to his place that you have assigned him, so that he does not go down with us into the battle and does not become our adversary in the battle. For with what might this man reconcile himself to his master? Will it not be with the heads of these men?

And the princes of the Philistines were wroth with him; and the princes of the Philistines said unto him, Make this fellow return, that he may go again to his place which thou hast appointed him, and let him not go down with us to battle, lest in the battle he be an adversary to us: for wherewith should he reconcile himself unto his master? should it not be with the heads of these men?

But the Philistine commanders were angry with him and said, "Send the man back, that he may return to the place you assigned him. He must not go with us into battle, or he will turn against us during the fighting. How better could he regain his master's favor than by taking the heads of our own men?

…不就是这个大卫吗？”从前以色列的妇女跳舞唱和说：‘扫罗杀死他的千(人)，大卫杀死他的万(人)，’

亚吉叫大卫来，对他说，我指着永活的耶和华起誓，你是正直人。你随我在军中出入，我看你甚好。自从你来我这里，直到今日，我在你身上未曾见到什么恶事；只是众首领不喜悦你。

亚吉叫大卫来，对他说：“我指着永生的耶和华起誓，你是正直人。你随我在军中出入，我看你甚好。自从你投奔我到如今，我未曾见你有什么过失，只是众首领不喜悦你。

亚吉把大卫叫来，对他说：“我指着永活的耶和华说，你是正直的人，你与我在军中出入，我感到很满意，因为自从你到我这里来的那一天，直到今日，我未曾在你身上找到什么过失；只是各首领不喜欢你。

阿基士就将达味召来，向他说：“愿永生的上主作证：你是可靠的人，你同我在军中出入，我很满意，因为自从你投奔我那一天起，直到今日，我在你身上并没有发现什么可指摘的事；但是酋长们不喜欢你。

亚吉把大卫叫来，对他说：“我指着永活的永恒主来起誓：“你是正直人；你跟着我在军营中出入、我看得很满意；自从你来我这里、直到如今、我未曾见过你有什么坏处；只是众霸主却不喜欢你。

亚吉叫大卫来，对他说：“我指着雅威的生命起誓，你是正直人，你随我在军中出入，在我眼中甚好。…我未曾发现你有什么过失；自从你来到我乐这里的那天直到今日，只是在众首领的眼中你不是好人，

וַיִּקְרָ֨א אָכִ֜ישׁ אֶל־דָּוִ֗ד וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֵ֠לָיו חַי־יְהוָ֞ה כִּי־יָשָׁ֣ר אַתָּ֗ה וְטֹ֣וב בְּ֠עֵינַי צֵאתְךָ֙ וּבֹאֲךָ֤ אִתִּי֙בַּֽמַּחֲנֶ֔ה כִּ֠י לֹֽא־מָצָ֤אתִֽי בְךָ֙ רָעָ֔ה מִיֹּ֛ום בֹּאֲךָ֥ אֵלַ֖י עַד־הַיֹּ֣ום הַזֶּ֑ה וּבְעֵינֵ֥י הַסְּרָנִ֖ים לֹֽא־טֹ֥ובאָֽתָּה׃

And Achish called David and said to him, As Jehovah lives, you are upright, and it is acceptable in my sight that you go forth and come in with me in the camp; for I have not found evil in you since the day you came to me to this day. But you are not acceptable to the lords.

Then Achish called David, and said unto him, Surely, as the LORD liveth, thou hast been upright, and thy going out and thy coming in with me in the host is good in my sight: for I have not found evil in thee since the day of thy coming unto me unto this day: nevertheless the lords favour thee not.

And Achish called David, and said to him, [As] Jehovah liveth, thou art upright, and thy going out and thy coming in with me in the camp is acceptable to me; for I have not found evil in thee since the day of thy coming to me to this day; but thou art not acceptable to the lords.

And Achish calleth unto David, and saith unto him, 'Jehovah liveth, surely thou art upright, and good in mine eyes is thy going out, and thy coming in, with me in the camp, for I have not found in thee evil from the day of thy coming in unto me till this day; and in the eyes of the princes thou art not good;

So Achish called David and said to him, "As surely as the Lord lives, you have been reliable, and I would be pleased to have you serve with me in the army. From the day you came to me until now, I have found no fault in you, but the rulers don't approve of you.

וְעַתָּ֥ה שׁ֖וּב וְלֵ֣ךְ בְּשָׁלֹ֑ום וְלֹֽא־תַעֲשֶׂ֣ה רָ֔ע בְּעֵינֵ֖י סַרְנֵ֥י פְלִשְׁתִּֽים׃ ס

Now therefore return and go in peace, so that you do not do anything displeasing to the lords of the Philistines.

Wherefore now return, and go in peace, that thou displease not the lords of the Philistines.

达味回答阿基士说：“我作了什么不对？或者自从我来服事你那天起，直至今日，你在你仆人身上发现了什么不对，竟不肯让我同我主大王的敌人交战？”

大卫对亚吉说：“我作了什么呢？自从仆人在你面前以来、直到今日、你查出我有什么事情使我不去攻打我主我王的仇敌呢？”

大卫对亚吉说：“我做了什么呢？…你查出你的仆人有什么(过错)，自从我到你面前的日子直到今日，使我不去攻击王我主的仇敌呢？”

וַיֹּ֨אמֶר דָּוִ֜ד אֶל־אָכִ֗ישׁ כִּ֣י מֶ֤ה עָשִׂ֨יתִי֙ וּמַה־מָּצָ֣אתָ בְעַבְדְּךָ֔ מִיֹּום֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר הָיִ֣יתִי לְפָנֶ֔יךָ עַ֖דהַיֹּ֣ום הַזֶּ֑ה כִּ֣י לֹ֤א אָבֹוא֙ וְנִלְחַ֔מְתִּי בְּאֹיְבֵ֖י אֲדֹנִ֥י הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃

And David said to Achish, But what have I done? And what wrong have you found in your servant since the day I began to be with you to this day, that I should not go and fight against the enemies of my lord the king?

And David said unto Achish, But what have I done? and what hast thou found in thy servant so long as I have been with thee unto this day, that I may not go fight against the enemies of my lord the king?

阿基士回答达味说：“我知道你在我眼中，好的像一位天主的使者，但培肋舍特的将领说：不许他同我们一起作战！

亚吉回答大卫说：“我知道你在我面前很好，如同神的使者一般；只是非利士人的统领却说：‘这人不可同我们上战场’；

亚吉回答大卫说：“我知道．你在我眼中是好人，如同神的使者一般；只是非利士人的首领说：‘他不可跟我们一起出战。’

וַיַּ֣עַן אָכִישׁ֮ וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֶל־דָּוִד֒ יָדַ֕עְתִּי כִּ֣י טֹ֥וב אַתָּ֛ה בְּעֵינַ֖י כְּמַלְאַ֣ךְ אֱלֹהִ֑ים אַ֣ךְ שָׂרֵ֤י פְלִשְׁתִּים֙אָֽמְר֔וּ לֹֽא־יַעֲלֶ֥ה עִמָּ֖נוּ בַּמִּלְחָמָֽה׃

And Achish answered and said to David, I know that you are as acceptable to me as an angel of God; nevertheless the princes of the Philistines have said, He shall not go up with us into the battle.

And Achish answered and said to David, I know that thou art good in my sight, as an angel of God: notwithstanding the princes of the Philistines have said, He shall not go up with us to the battle.

And Achish answered and said to David, I know that thou art acceptable to me, as an angel of God; nevertheless the princes of the Philistines have said, He shall not go up with us to the battle.

And Achish answereth and saith unto David, 'I have known that thou art good in mine eyes as a messenger of God; only, the princes of the Philistines have said, He doth not go up with us into battle;

Achish answered, "I know that you have been as pleasing in my eyes as an angel of God; nevertheless, the Philistine commanders have said, 'He must not go up with us into battle.'

故此你和跟你来的人，就是你主人的仆人，明日要清早起来；你们清早起来，天一亮就回去。

故此你和跟随你的人，就是你本主的仆人，要明日早晨起来，等到天亮回去吧！”

所以明天早晨，你和跟你来的人，就是你主人的仆人都要清早起来。你们明天早晨都要早起，天一亮你们就要离开。”

明早起来，你同你一起来的你主人的仆人，都往我给你指定的地方去，心中不要抱怨，我是喜欢你的，所以明天，天一亮，你们就动身回去吧！”

故此你和你主上的仆人、就是同你一道来的、明日早晨要早早起来；去到我所分派你们去的地方，不要怀着恶意，因为你在我面前总是好的；不过你们早晨要早早起来，天亮了就走。”

现在，…清晨要早早起来，你和跟随你来的你主人的仆人们．你们清晨早早起来，天一亮你们就走。”

וְעַתָּה֙ הַשְׁכֵּ֣ם בַּבֹּ֔קֶר וְעַבְדֵ֥י אֲדֹנֶ֖יךָ אֲשֶׁר־בָּ֣אוּ אִתָּ֑ךְ וְהִשְׁכַּמְתֶּ֣ם בַּבֹּ֔קֶר וְאֹ֥ור לָכֶ֖ם וָלֵֽכוּ׃

Now therefore rise up early in the morning with your master's servants who came with you; indeed rise up early in the morning, and when you have daylight, go.
