And Jehovah said to Samuel, Listen to the voice of the people according to all that they have said to you; for it is not you whom they have rejected, but they have rejected Me from being King over them.

Now therefore listen to their voice, but you shall solemnly warn them and declare to them the practice of the king who will reign over them.

וַיֹּ֕אמֶר זֶ֗ה יִֽהְיֶה֙ מִשְׁפַּ֣ט הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ אֲשֶׁ֥ר יִמְלֹ֖ךְ עֲלֵיכֶ֑ם אֶת־בְּנֵיכֶ֣ם יִקָּ֗ח וְשָׂ֥ם לֹו֙ בְּמֶרְכַּבְתֹּ֣ווּבְפָרָשָׁ֔יו וְרָצ֖וּ לִפְנֵ֥י מֶרְכַּבְתֹּֽו׃
R
And he said, This will be the practice of the king who will reign over you: He will take your sons and appoint them for himself to his chariots and as his horsemen, and they will run before his chariots;

And he said, This will be the manner of the king that shall reign over you: He will take your sons, and appoint them for himself, for his chariots, and to be his horsemen; and some shall run before his chariots.

He said, "This is what the king who will reign over you will do: He will take your sons and make them serve with his chariots and horses, and they will run in front of his chariots.

And he will appoint them for himself as captains of thousands and as captains of fifties, and to plow his ground and reap his harvest, and to make his instruments of war and the equipment for his chariots.

And he will exact a tenth of your seed and of your vineyards, and give it to his eunuchs and servants.

And he will take your male servants and your female servants and your best young men and your donkeys, and put them to his work.

你们的羊群、他也要抽取十分之一；你们本身呢、也必做他的奴仆。

צֹאנְכֶ֖ם יַעְשֹׂ֑ר וְאַתֶּ֖ם תִּֽהְיוּ־לֹ֥ו לַעֲבָדִֽים׃

He will exact a tenth of your flocks, and you will be his servants.

那日你们必因你们为自己所选的王哀求耶和华，那日耶和华却不应允你们。

那时你们必因所选的王哀求耶和华，耶和华却不应允你们。”

到时，你们必因你们为自己拣选的王而哀求，那时耶和华却不应允你们。”

到那一天，你们必要因你们所选的君王发出哀号；但那一天，上主也不理你们了。”

到那日子你们就会因所选的王而哀叫，到那日子永恒主却不应允你们。”

那时你们…哀求，必因你们为自己所选的你们的王．那时雅威却不应允你们。”

וּזְעַקְתֶּם֙ בַּיֹּ֣ום הַה֔וּא מִלִּפְנֵ֣י מַלְכְּכֶ֔ם אֲשֶׁ֥ר בְּחַרְתֶּ֖ם לָכֶ֑ם וְלֹֽא־יַעֲנֶ֧ה יְהוָ֛ה אֶתְכֶ֖ם בַּיֹּ֥וםהַהֽוּא׃
R
And you will cry out in that day on account of your king, whom you have chosen for yourselves; but Jehovah will not answer you in that day.

And ye shall cry out in that day because of your king which ye shall have chosen you; and the LORD will not hear you in that day.

וַיְמָאֲנ֣וּ הָעָ֔ם לִשְׁמֹ֖עַ בְּקֹ֣ול שְׁמוּאֵ֑ל וַיֹּאמְר֣וּ לֹּ֔א כִּ֥י אִם־מֶ֖לֶךְ יִֽהְיֶ֥ה עָלֵֽינוּ׃
R
But the people refused to listen to the voice of Samuel, and they said, No; but there will be a king over us,

Nevertheless the people refused to obey the voice of Samuel; and they said, Nay; but we will have a king over us;

And the people refused to hearken to the voice of Samuel; and they said, No, but there shall be a king over us,

And the people refuse to hearken to the voice of Samuel, and say, 'Nay, but a king is over us,

But the people refused to listen to Samuel. "No!" they said. "We want a king over us.

使我们像列国一样，有王治理我们，率领我们出征，为我们争战。
和
使我们像列国一样，有王治理我们，统领我们，为我们争战。”

让我们也像列国一样，有自己的王治理我们，率领我们出征，为我们作战。”

我们也要像一般异民一样，有我们的君王来治理我们，率领我们出征作战。”

וְהָיִ֥ינוּ גַם־אֲנַ֖חְנוּ כְּכָל־הַגֹּויִ֑ם וּשְׁפָטָ֤נוּ מַלְכֵּ֨נוּ֙ וְיָצָ֣א לְפָנֵ֔ינוּ וְנִלְחַ֖ם אֶת־מִלְחֲמֹתֵֽנוּ׃
R
That we also may be like all the nations, and that our king may judge us and go out before us and fight our battles.

撒母耳听见百姓这一切话，就将这些话说给耶和华听。

וַיִּשְׁמַ֣ע שְׁמוּאֵ֔ל אֵ֖ת כָּל־דִּבְרֵ֣י הָעָ֑ם וַֽיְדַבְּרֵ֖ם בְּאָזְנֵ֥י יְהוָֽה׃ פ

And Samuel heard all the words of the people, and he spoke them in the hearing of Jehovah.

耶和华对撒母耳说，你只管听从他们的话，为他们立王。撒母耳对以色列人说，你们各归各城去吧。

耶和华对撒母耳说：“你只管依从他们的话，为他们立王。”撒母耳对以色列人说：“你们各归各城去吧！”

上主对撒慕尔说：“你听从他们的话，给他们一位君王吧！”撒慕尔就吩咐以色列人说：“你们各自暂回本城去。”

永恒主对撒母耳说：“你只管依从他们的话，为他们设立一个王。”撒母耳对以色列人说：“你们各往各城去吧。”
直
雅威对撒母耳说：“只管听从他们的声音，替他们立王。”撒母耳对以色列人说：“你们各归各城去吧。”

וַיֹּ֨אמֶר יְהוָ֤ה אֶל־שְׁמוּאֵל֙ שְׁמַ֣ע בְּקֹולָ֔ם וְהִמְלַכְתָּ֥ לָהֶ֖ם מֶ֑לֶךְ וַיֹּ֤אמֶר שְׁמוּאֵל֙ אֶל־אַנְשֵׁ֣ייִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל לְכ֖וּ אִ֥ישׁ לְעִירֹֽו׃ פ
R
Then Jehovah said to Samuel, Listen to their voice, and appoint a king to them. And Samuel said to the men of Israel, Go, each one to his city.

And the LORD said to Samuel, Hearken unto their voice, and make them a king. And Samuel said unto the men of Israel, Go ye every man unto his city.

and Jehovah saith unto Samuel, 'Hearken to their voice, and thou hast caused to reign over them a king.' And Samuel saith unto the men of Israel, 'Go ye each to his city.'

The Lord answered, "Listen to them and give them a king." Then Samuel said to the men of Israel, "Everyone go back to his town."
