And you shall be to Me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation. These are the words that you shall speak to the children of Israel.

And all the people answered together and said, All that Jehovah has spoken we will do. And Moses brought back the words of the people to Jehovah.

永恒主对摩西说：“看吧，我要在密云中来找你，好叫人民在我和你说话的时候可以听见，他们也可以永远信你。”于是摩西将人民的话告诉永恒主。

雅威对摩西说：“看哪，我要在密云中临到你那里，叫百姓在我与你说话的时候可以听见，也可以永远信你了。”摩西将百姓的话奏告雅威。

And Jehovah said to Moses, I am coming to you in a thick cloud, that the people may hear when I speak with you and may also believe you forever. Then Moses told the words of the people to Jehovah,

And the LORD said unto Moses, Lo, I come unto thee in a thick cloud, that the people may hear when I speak with thee, and believe thee for ever. And Moses told the words of the people unto the LORD.

And Jehovah said to Moses, Lo, I will come to thee in the cloud's thick darkness, that the people may hear when I speak with thee, and believe thee also for ever. And Moses told the words of the people to Jehovah.

And Jehovah saith unto Moses, 'Lo, I am coming unto thee in the thickness of the cloud, so that the people hear in My speaking with thee, and also believe in thee to the age;' and Moses declareth the words of the people unto Jehovah.
I
The Lord said to Moses, "I am going to come to you in a dense cloud, so that the people will hear me speaking with you and will always put their trust in you." Then Moses told the Lord what the people had said.

And be ready for the third day; for on the third day Jehovah will come down on Mount Sinai in the sight of all the people.

And you shall set limits for the people all around, saying, Be careful that you do not go up on the mountain or touch the border of it. Whoever touches the mountain shall surely be put to death.

And thou shalt set bounds unto the people round about, saying, Take heed to yourselves, that ye go not up into the mount, or touch the border of it: whosoever toucheth the mount shall be surely put to death:

And set bounds round about the people, saying, Take heed to yourselves, [not] to go up unto the mountain nor touch the border of it: whatever toucheth the mountain shall certainly be put to death:

'And thou hast made a border for the people round about, saying, Take heed to yourselves, going up into the mount, or coming against its extremity; whoever is coming against the mount is certainly put to death;
I
Put limits for the people around the mountain and tell them, 'Be careful that you do not go up the mountain or touch the foot of it. Whoever touches the mountain shall surely be put to death.

No hand shall touch him, but he shall surely be stoned or shot through; whether beast or man, he shall not live. When the trumpet sounds a long blast, they may come up on the mountain.

There shall not an hand touch it, but he shall surely be stoned, or shot through; whether it be beast or man, it shall not live: when the trumpet soundeth long, they shall come up to the mount.

And he said to the people, Be ready for the third day. Do not go near a woman.

Now the whole of Mount Sinai smoked because Jehovah descended upon it in fire, and its smoke ascended like the smoke of a furnace; and the whole mountain shook greatly.

וַיֹּ֤אמֶר יְהוָה֙ אֶל־מֹשֶׁ֔ה רֵ֖ד הָעֵ֣ד בָּעָ֑ם פֶּן־יֶהֶרְס֤וּ אֶל־יְהוָה֙ לִרְאֹ֔ות וְנָפַ֥ל מִמֶּ֖נּוּ רָֽב׃
R
Then Jehovah said to Moses, Go down; charge the people not to break through to Jehovah to look, lest many of them perish.

And the LORD said unto Moses, Go down, charge the people, lest they break through unto the LORD to gaze, and many of them perish.

And Jehovah said to Moses, Go down, testify to the people that they break not through to Jehovah to gaze, and many of them perish.

And Jehovah saith unto Moses, 'Go down, protest to the people, lest they break through unto Jehovah to see, and many of them have fallen;

and the Lord said to him, "Go down and warn the people so they do not force their way through to see the Lord and many of them perish.

又叫亲近耶和华的祭司将自己分别为圣，恐怕耶和华忽然出来击杀他们。

וְגַ֧ם הַכֹּהֲנִ֛ים הַנִּגָּשִׁ֥ים אֶל־יְהוָ֖ה יִתְקַדָּ֑שׁוּ פֶּן־יִפְרֹ֥ץ בָּהֶ֖ם יְהוָֽה׃
R
And let the priests who come near to Jehovah also sanctify themselves, so that Jehovah does not break forth upon them.

And let the priests also, which come near to the LORD, sanctify themselves, lest the LORD break forth upon them.

And the priests also, who come near to Jehovah, shall hallow themselves, lest Jehovah break forth on them.

and also the priests who are coming nigh unto Jehovah do sanctify themselves, lest Jehovah break forth on them.'

Even the priests, who approach the Lord , must consecrate themselves, or the Lord will break out against them."

摩西对雅威说：“百姓不能上西奈山，因为你已经告诫我们说：‘要在山的四围定界限，使它成圣。’”

וַיֹּ֤אמֶר מֹשֶׁה֙ אֶל־יְהוָ֔ה לֹא־יוּכַ֣ל הָעָ֔ם לַעֲלֹ֖ת אֶל־הַ֣ר סִינָ֑י כִּֽי־אַתָּ֞ה הַעֵדֹ֤תָה בָּ֨נוּ֙ לֵאמֹ֔רהַגְבֵּ֥ל אֶת־הָהָ֖ר וְקִדַּשְׁתֹּֽו׃
R
And Moses said to Jehovah, The people cannot come up to Mount Sinai, for You charged us, saying, Set limits around the mountain, and sanctify it.

And Moses said unto the LORD, The people cannot come up to mount Sinai: for thou chargedst us, saying, Set bounds about the mount, and sanctify it.
D
And Moses said to Jehovah, The people cannot come up to mount Sinai; for thou hast testified to us, saying, Set bounds about the mountain, and hallow it.
Y
And Moses saith unto Jehovah, 'The people is unable to come up unto mount Sinai, for Thou -- Thou hast protested to us, saying, Make a border for the mount, then thou hast sanctified it.'
I
Moses said to the Lord , "The people cannot come up Mount Sinai, because you yourself warned us, 'Put limits around the mountain and set it apart as holy.' "

耶和华对他说，下去吧；你要再和亚伦一同上来；只是不可让祭司和百姓闯过来，上到耶和华这里，恐怕耶和华忽然出来击杀他们。

雅威对他说：“下去吧，你要上来，亚伦要跟你一起；只是祭司和百姓不可闯过来上到雅威那里，免得他

וַיֹּ֨אמֶר אֵלָ֤יו יְהוָה֙ לֶךְ־רֵ֔ד וְעָלִ֥יתָ אַתָּ֖ה וְאַהֲרֹ֣ן עִמָּ֑ךְ וְהַכֹּהֲנִ֣ים וְהָעָ֗ם אַל־יֶֽהֶרְס֛וּ לַעֲלֹ֥תאֶל־יְהוָ֖ה פֶּן־יִפְרָץ־בָּֽם׃
R
And Jehovah said to him, Go, get down; then you shall come up again, you and Aaron with you; but do not let the priests and the people force a way through to come up to Jehovah, so that He does not break forth upon them.

And the LORD said unto him, Away, get thee down, and thou shalt come up, thou, and Aaron with thee: but let not the priests and the people break through to come up unto the LORD, lest he break forth upon them.

And Jehovah said to him, Go, descend, and thou shalt come up, thou, and Aaron with thee; but the priests and the people shall not break through to go up to Jehovah, lest he break forth on them.

And Jehovah saith unto him, 'Go, descend, then thou hast come up, thou, and Aaron with thee; and the priests and the people do not break through, to come up unto Jehovah, lest He break forth upon them.'

The Lord replied, "Go down and bring Aaron up with you. But the priests and the people must not force their way through to come up to the Lord , or he will break out against them."
