Now Jehovah said to Abram, Go from your land / And from your relatives / And from your father's house / To the land that I will show you;

Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee:

And Jehovah had said to Abram, Go out of thy land, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, to the land that I will shew thee.

And I will bless those who bless you, / And him who curses you I will curse; / And in you all the families of the earth will be blessed.

So Abram went as Jehovah had spoken to him, and Lot went with him. Now Abram was seventy-five years old when he went out of Haran.

And Abram took Sarai his wife and Lot his brother's son and all their possessions that they had gathered and the souls that they had acquired in Haran, and they went out to go to the land of Canaan. And they came to the land of Canaan.

And Jehovah appeared to Abram and said, To your seed I will give this land. And there he built an altar to Jehovah who had appeared to him.

And he proceeded from there to the mountain on the east of Bethel and pitched his tent, with Bethel on the west and Ai on the east; and there he built an altar to Jehovah and called upon the name of Jehovah.

And he removed from thence unto a mountain on the east of Bethel, and pitched his tent, having Bethel on the west, and Hai on the east: and there he builded an altar unto the LORD, and called upon the name of the LORD.

From there he went on toward the hills east of Bethel and pitched his tent, with Bethel on the west and Ai on the east. There he built an altar to the Lord and called on the name of the Lord .

And when he was about to enter into Egypt, he said to Sarai his wife, I know indeed that you are a beautiful woman to look at;

And when the Egyptians see you, they will say, This is his wife, and they will kill me; but they will keep you alive.

When the Egyptians see you, they will say, 'This is his wife.' Then they will kill me but will let you live.

求你说，你是我的妹妹，使我因你得善待，我的命也因你存活。
和
求你说，你是我的妹子，使我因你得平安，我的命也因你存活。”

请你说你是我的妹妹，使我因你的缘故可以平安无事，我的性命也可以因你的缘故得以保全。”
思
所以请你说：你是我的妹妹，这样我因了你而必获优待，赖你的情面，保全我的生命。”

你务要说你是我的妹妹，使我因你而平安无事，我的牲命也可以因你的缘故而得存活。”
直
请妳说，妳是我的妹妹，使我借着妳得平安，我的性命也借着妳存活。”

אִמְרִי־נָ֖א אֲחֹ֣תִי אָ֑תְּ לְמַ֨עַן֙ יִֽיטַב־לִ֣י בַעֲבוּרֵ֔ךְ וְחָיְתָ֥ה נַפְשִׁ֖י בִּגְלָלֵֽךְ׃
R
Now say you are my sister, that it may be well with me on account of you and I may live because of you.

Say, I pray thee, thou art my sister: that it may be well with me for thy sake; and my soul shall live because of thee.

Say, I pray thee, thou art my sister, that it may be well with me on thy account, and my soul may live because of thee.

And Pharaoh called Abram and said, What is this you have done to me? Why did you not tell me that she was your wife?

Why did you say, She is my sister, so that I took her to be my wife? Now then here is your wife; take her and go.
