וַיְהִ֣י הַיֹּ֔ום וַיָּבֹ֨אוּ֙ בְּנֵ֣י הָֽאֱלֹהִ֔ים לְהִתְיַצֵּ֖ב עַל־יְהוָ֑ה וַיָּבֹ֤וא גַֽם־הַשָּׂטָן֙ בְּתֹכָ֔ם לְהִתְיַצֵּ֖בעַל־יְהוָֽה׃
R  
Then one day, when the sons of God came to present themselves before Jehovah, Satan also came among them to present himself before Jehovah.

Again there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them to present himself before the LORD.

וַיֹּ֤אמֶר יְהוָה֙ אֶל־הַשָּׂטָ֔ן אֵ֥י מִזֶּ֖ה תָּבֹ֑א וַיַּ֨עַן הַשָּׂטָ֤ן אֶת־יְהוָה֙ וַיֹּאמַ֔ר מִשֻּׁ֣ט בָּאָ֔רֶץוּמֵהִתְהַלֵּ֖ךְ בָּֽהּ׃
R  
And Jehovah said to Satan, Where have you come from? And Satan answered Jehovah and said, From roving the earth and going about in it.

And the LORD said unto Satan, From whence comest thou? And Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.

And Jehovah said to Satan, From whence comest thou? And Satan answered Jehovah and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.

And Jehovah saith unto the Adversary, 'Whence camest thou?' And the Adversary answereth Jehovah and saith, 'From going to and fro in the land, and from walking up and down in it.'
I  
And the Lord said to Satan, "Where have you come from?" Satan answered the Lord , "From roaming through the earth and going back and forth in it."
伯2:3

恢 
耶和华问撒但说,你曾用心察看我的仆人约伯没有?地上没有人像他完全且正直,敬畏神,远离恶事;你虽激动我攻击他,无故地毁灭他,他仍然持守他的纯全。
和 
耶和华问撒但说:“你曾用心察看我的仆人约伯没有?地上再没有人像他完全正直,敬畏神,远离恶事。你虽激动我攻击他,无故地毁灭他;他仍然持守他的纯正。”
新 
耶和华问撒但:“你有没有注意到我的仆人约伯?世上再也没有一个人像他那样完全、正直,敬畏神,远离罪恶。虽然你挑拨我与他作对,无缘无故使他倾家荡产,他还是坚守自己的纯全。”
思 
上主对撒殚说:“你曾留心注意到我的仆人约伯吗?世上没有一个像他那样十全十美,生性正直,敬畏天主,远避邪恶的人。你虽然激动我加害他,无端叫他倾家荡产,但他依然保持自己的完善。”
吕 
永恒主问撒但说:“你曾用心察看我的僮仆人约伯没有?地上再没有人像他完全正直,敬畏上帝,远离坏事。你虽激动我攻击他,无故地毁灭他,他仍然持守他的纯正。”
直 
雅威问撒但说:“你曾用心察看我的仆人约伯吗?地上再没有人像他.完全且正直,敬畏神,远离恶事。…他仍然持守他的纯正。”虽然你激动我无故地毁灭他,(放上面)

וַיֹּ֨אמֶר יְהוָ֜ה אֶל־הַשָּׂטָ֗ן הֲשַׂ֣מְתָּ לִבְּךָ֮ אֶל־עַבְדִּ֣י אִיֹּוב֒ כִּי֩ אֵ֨ין כָּמֹ֜הוּ בָּאָ֗רֶץ אִ֣ישׁ תָּ֧ם וְיָשָׁ֛ריְרֵ֥א אֱלֹהִ֖ים וְסָ֣ר מֵרָ֑ע וְעֹדֶ֨נּוּ֙ מַחֲזִ֣יק בְּתֻמָּתֹ֔ו וַתְּסִיתֵ֥נִי בֹ֖ו לְבַלְּעֹ֥ו חִנָּֽם׃
R  
And Jehovah said to Satan, Have you considered My servant Job? For there is none like him on the earth, a perfect and upright man, who fears God and turns away from evil. And he still holds fast his integrity, though you have moved Me against him to destroy him without cause.

And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? and still he holdeth fast his integrity, although thou movedst me against him, to destroy him without cause.

And Jehovah said to Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him on the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God and abstaineth from evil? and still he remaineth firm in his integrity, though thou movedst me against him, to swallow him up without cause.
Y  
And Jehovah saith unto the Adversary, 'Hast thou set thy heart unto My servant Job because there is none like him in the land, a man perfect and upright, fearing God and turning aside from evil? and still he is keeping hold on his integrity, and thou dost move Me against him to swallow him up for nought!'
I  
Then the Lord said to Satan, "Have you considered my servant Job? There is no one on earth like him; he is blameless and upright, a man who fears God and shuns evil. And he still maintains his integrity, though you incited me against him to ruin him without any reason."
伯2:4

恢 
撒但回答耶和华说,人以皮代皮,为了自己的性命,情愿付出一切所有的。
和 
撒但回答耶和华说:“人以皮代皮,情愿舍去一切所有的保全性命。
新 
撒但回答耶和华说:“人以皮换皮,宁可付出他所有的一切去保命。
思 
撒殚回答上主说:“那只不过是以皮换皮罢了!人都肯拾弃所有,去保全自己的性命。
吕 
撒但回答永恒主说:“人以皮代皮,情愿舍去一切所有的,保全性命。
直 
撒但回答雅威,说:“以皮代皮,人一切所有的,情愿舍去以换取性命。
原 
וַיַּ֧עַן הַשָּׂטָ֛ן אֶת־יְהוָ֖ה וַיֹּאמַ֑ר עֹ֣ור בְּעַד־עֹ֗ור וְכֹל֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר לָאִ֔ישׁ יִתֵּ֖ן בְּעַ֥ד נַפְשֹֽׁו׃
R  
Then Satan answered Jehovah and said, Skin for skin! Indeed all that a man has he will give for the sake of his life.
K  
And Satan answered the LORD, and said, Skin for skin, yea, all that a man hath will he give for his life.
D  
And Satan answered Jehovah and said, Skin for skin, yea, all that a man hath will he give for his life;
Y  
And the Adversary answereth Jehovah and saith, 'A skin for a skin, and all that a man hath he doth give for his life.
I  
Skin for skin! Satan replied. "A man will give all he has for his own life.
伯2:5

恢 
你且伸手,伤他的骨头和他的肉;他必当面咒诅你。
和 
你且伸手伤他的骨头和他的肉,他必当面弃掉你。”
新 
只要你伸手伤害他的骨和肉,他一定当面亵渎你。”
思 
但是你若伸手打击他的骨和肉,他必定当面诅咒你。”
吕 
你且伸手伤他的骨头和他的肉,他必当面谤讟你。”
直 
你且伸手.击打他的骨头和他的肉,他必当面弃掉你。”

אוּלָם֙ שְֽׁלַֽח־נָ֣א יָֽדְךָ֔ וְגַ֥ע אֶל־עַצְמֹ֖ו וְאֶל־בְּשָׂרֹ֑ו אִם־לֹ֥א אֶל־פָּנֶ֖יךָ יְבָרֲכֶֽךָּ׃
R  
But stretch forth Your hand, and touch his bone and his flesh; and he will surely curse You to Your face.
K  
But put forth thine hand now, and touch his bone and his flesh, and he will curse thee to thy face.
D  
but put forth thy hand now, and touch his bone and his flesh, [and see] if he will not curse thee to thy face!
Y  
Yet, put forth, I pray Thee, Thy hand, and strike unto his bone and unto his flesh -- if not: unto Thy face he doth bless Thee!'
I  
But stretch out your hand and strike his flesh and bones, and he will surely curse you to your face."
伯2:6

恢 
耶和华对撒但说,他在你手中;只要存留他的性命。
和 
耶和华对撒但说:“他在你手中,只要存留他的性命。”

耶和华对撒但说:“好吧,他在你手中,不过,要留存他的命。”

上主向撒殚说:“看,任你处置他,但要保留他的命。”

永恒主对撒但说:“他在你手中,只要存留他的性命。”

雅威对撒但说:“看哪,他在你手中,然而,要保全他的性命。”

וַיֹּ֧אמֶר יְהוָ֛ה אֶל־הַשָּׂטָ֖ן הִנֹּ֣ו בְיָדֶ֑ךָ אַ֖ךְ אֶת־נַפְשֹׁ֥ו שְׁמֹֽר׃
R  
And Jehovah said to Satan, Here he is, in your hand; only spare his life.
K  
And the LORD said unto Satan, Behold, he is in thine hand; but save his life.

And Jehovah said to Satan, Behold, he is in thy hand; only spare his life.
Y  
And Jehovah saith unto the Adversary, 'Lo, he is in thy hand; only his life take care of.'
I  
The Lord said to Satan, "Very well, then, he is in your hands; but you must spare his life."
伯2:7

恢 
于是撒但从耶和华面前退去,击打约伯,使他从脚掌到头顶都长了毒疮。
和 
于是撒但从耶和华面前退去,击打约伯,使他从脚掌到头顶长毒疮。

于是撒但从耶和华面前退去,击打约伯,使他从脚掌到头顶都生了毒疮。

撒殚从上主那里出来,就使约伯从足踵到头顶都长了毒疮。

וַיֵּצֵא֙ הַשָּׂטָ֔ן מֵאֵ֖ת פְּנֵ֣י יְהוָ֑ה וַיַּ֤ךְ אֶת־אִיֹּוב֙ בִּשְׁחִ֣ין רָ֔ע מִכַּ֥ף רַגְלֹ֖ו עַד קָדְקֳדֹֽו׃
R  
And Satan went forth from Jehovah's presence and struck Job with severe boils from the sole of his foot to the crown of his head.

So went Satan forth from the presence of the LORD, and smote Job with sore boils from the sole of his foot unto his crown.
D  
And Satan went forth from the presence of Jehovah; and he smote Job with a grievous botch from the sole of his foot unto his crown.
Y  
And the Adversary goeth forth from the presence of Jehovah, and smiteth Job with a sore ulcer from the sole of his foot unto his crown.
I  
So Satan went out from the presence of the Lord and afflicted Job with painful sores from the soles of his feet to the top of his head.

约伯就坐在炉灰中,拿瓦片刮自己。

וַיִּֽקַּֽח־לֹ֣ו חֶ֔רֶשׂ לְהִתְגָּרֵ֖ד בֹּ֑ו וְה֖וּא יֹשֵׁ֥ב בְּתֹוךְ־הָאֵֽפֶר׃
R  
And he took a potsherd with which to scrape himself, and he sat among the ashes.

And he took him a potsherd to scrape himself withal; and he sat down among the ashes.

And he took a potsherd to scrape himself with; and he sat among the ashes.
Y  
And he taketh to him a potsherd to scrape himself with it, and he is sitting in the midst of the ashes.

Then Job took a piece of broken pottery and scraped himself with it as he sat among the ashes.
伯2:9

他的妻子对他说,你仍然持守你的纯全么?你咒诅神,死了吧。
和 
他的妻子对他说:“你仍然持守你的纯正吗?你弃掉神,死了吧!”
新 
他妻子对他说:“难道你还要坚守自己的纯全吗?你不如放弃神,死掉算了。”
思 
他的妻子向他说:“你还保持你的完善吗?你倒不如诅咒天主,死了算了!”
吕 
他的妻子对他说:“你仍然持守你的纯正么?你谤上帝,死了吧!”
直 
他的妻子对他说:“你仍然持守你的纯正吗?你弃掉神,死了吧!”
原 
וַתֹּ֤אמֶר לֹו֙ אִשְׁתֹּ֔ו עֹדְךָ֖ מַחֲזִ֣יק בְּתֻמָּתֶ֑ךָ בָּרֵ֥ךְ אֱלֹהִ֖ים וָמֻֽת׃
R  
Then his wife said to him, Do you still hold fast your integrity? Curse God and die.
K  
Then said his wife unto him, Dost thou still retain thine integrity? curse God, and die.
D  
And his wife said to him, Dost thou still remain firm in thine integrity? curse God and die.
Y  
And his wife saith to him, 'Still thou art keeping hold on thine integrity: bless God and die.'
I  
His wife said to him, "Are you still holding on to your integrity? Curse God and die!"
伯2:10

恢 
约伯却对她说,你说话像个愚顽的妇人。难道我们从神得福乐,不也受灾祸么?在这一切的事上,约伯并不以嘴唇犯罪。
和 
约伯却对她说:“你说话像愚顽的妇人一样。哎!难道我们从神手里得福,不也受祸吗?”在这一切的事上,约伯并不以口犯罪。
新 
可是约伯对她说:“你说话像个愚妄的女人。难道我们从神得福,也不应当受祸吗?”在这一切事上,约伯并没有用口犯罪。
思 
约伯向她说:“你说话,真像一个糊涂女人!难道我们只由天主那里接受恩惠,而不接受灾祸吗?”就这一切事而论,约伯没有犯失言的过错。
吕 
约伯却对她说:“你说话像愚顽的妇人一样。嗳!难道我们从上帝手里得福,不也受祸么?”在这一切的事上约伯并跟不以口犯罪。
直 
他却对她说:“你说话像愚顽妇人在说话一样。我们从神那里领受福分,不也领受灾祸吗?”在这一切的事上.约伯没有以他的嘴唇犯罪。
原 
וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֵלֶ֗יהָ כְּדַבֵּ֞ר אַחַ֤ת הַנְּבָלֹות֙ תְּדַבֵּ֔רִי גַּ֣ם אֶת־הַטֹּ֗וב נְקַבֵּל֙ מֵאֵ֣ת הָאֱלֹהִ֔ים וְאֶת־הָרָ֖עלֹ֣א נְקַבֵּ֑ל בְּכָל־זֹ֛את לֹא־חָטָ֥א אִיֹּ֖וב בִּשְׂפָתָֽיו׃ פ
R  
But he said to her, You speak as one of the foolish women speaks. Should we receive the good from God but not receive the ill? In all this Job did not sin with his lips.
K  
But he said unto her, Thou speakest as one of the foolish women speaketh. What? shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil? In all this did not Job sin with his lips.
D  
But he said to her, Thou speakest as one of the foolish women speaketh. We have also received good from God, and should we not receive evil? In all this Job did not sin with his lips.
Y  
And he saith unto her, 'As one of the foolish women speaketh, thou speakest; yea, the good we receive from God, and the evil we do not receive.' In all this Job hath not sinned with his lips.
I  
He replied, "You are talking like a foolish woman. Shall we accept good from God, and not trouble?" In all this, Job did not sin in what he said.

Now when Job's three friends heard of all this misfortune that came upon him, each came from his place, Eliphaz the Temanite and Bildad the Shuhite and Zophar the Naamathite; and they together made an appointment to come to console him and comfort him.

Now when Job's three friends heard of all this evil that was come upon him, they came every one from his own place; Eliphaz the Temanite, and Bildad the Shuhite, and Zophar the Naamathite: for they had made an appointment together to come to mourn with him and to comfort him.

And when they lifted up their eyes from a distance and did not recognize him, they lifted up their voice and wept; and they all tore their clothes and cast dust over their heads toward heaven.
