As God lives, who has taken away my right, / And the Almighty, who has embittered my soul,

Surely my lips will not speak anything wrong, / Nor will my tongue utter deceit.

Far be it from me to declare you righteous! / Until I die, I will not put away my integrity from me.

God forbid that I should justify you: till I die I will not remove mine integrity from me.

Here is the fate God allots to the wicked, the heritage a ruthless man receives from the Almighty:
