תְּפַלְּטֵנִי֮ מֵרִ֪יבֵ֫י עָ֥ם תְּ֭שִׂימֵנִי לְרֹ֣אשׁ גֹּויִ֑ם עַ֖ם לֹא־יָדַ֣עְתִּי יַֽעַבְדֽוּנִי׃

At the mere hearing of a report, they obey me; / Foreigners come cringing to me;

As soon as they hear of me, they shall obey me: the strangers shall submit themselves unto me.

Foreigners are discouraged / And come quaking out of their fortresses.

The strangers shall fade away, and be afraid out of their close places.

Strangers have faded away, and they come trembling forth from their close places.

Who rescues me from my enemies. / Indeed You exalted me above those who rise up against me; / From the violent man You delivered me.
