达味作。上主，我在向你呼号；我的磐石，不要置若罔闻；你若对我沉默不语，我便无异向阴府里沉沦。

永恒主我的磐石啊，我呼求的是你；不要缄默不理我呀！恐怕你静默不理我，我就跟下阴坑的人相似了。

大卫的诗。雅威啊，我要求告你！我的磐石啊，求你不要向我缄默！免得你向我闭口，我就如下入地府的人一样。

לְדָוִ֡ד אֵ֘לֶ֤יךָ יְהוָ֨ה׀ אֶקְרָ֗א צוּרִי֮ אַֽל־תֶּחֱרַ֪שׁ מִ֫מֶּ֥נִּי פֶּן־תֶּֽחֱשֶׁ֥ה מִמֶּ֑נִּי וְ֝נִמְשַׁ֗לְתִּי עִם־יֹ֥ורְדֵיבֹֽור׃

(Of David) To You, O Jehovah, do I call out; / My rock, do not be deaf to me, / Lest, if You are silent to me, / I become like those who go down into the pit.

(A Psalm of David.) Unto thee will I cry, O LORD my rock; be not silent to me: lest, if thou be silent to me, I become like them that go down into the pit.

For they do not regard the acts of Jehovah / Or the work of His hands; / He will tear them down / And not rebuild them.

Because they regard not the works of the LORD, nor the operation of his hands, he shall destroy them, and not build them up.
